“To John Hansen, My wife and I would like to thank you for such a lovely evening. Chez Bacchus represents the “True Expression of a Dining Experience”. Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.”
“This was my first time here, and honestly, I’ve been to almost every Turkish restaurant across the America, I can easily put this one at the very top. The menu is huge, the place is spotless and well organized, and the design is modern and stylish. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, with generous and filling portions.
The highlight of our visit was Sefkan, the staff member who took care of us. He treated us with genuine hospitality and made us feel truly welcome just like a real host should.
Right next door, there’s also a dessert shop where you can find all the classic Turkish sweets and ice cream. Their desserts and ice cream were outstanding as well.
Highly recommend this place to everyone!”
“One of the best restaurants in Long Beach for Peruvian, style, seafood, ceviche, and Sushi. Family owned and operated with a friendly vibe and amazing service.”

“"Thai District is a culinary gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that transported us to Thailand. Scott, our server, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Not only did he provide impeccable service, but he also shared interesting tidbits about the area, like the length of the actual “Long Beach” in Long Beach, adding a delightful personal touch to our evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Five stars all around for Thai District!"”

“In town before getting a cruise and wandered in to ISM brewery. Got the bologna sandwich and an IPA. Both were excellent.
Service was next level. Can tell these guys really care about giving you quality products. Thanks for the afternoon.”
“Husband and I went there last night during Haunt Hopping in Santa Ana -- and WOW!! Absolutely delicious, filling burgers and crispiest, hottest fries! Very friendly service. Hoping they open some locations near us, but until then, we'll make special trips -- they're that good!”
“Wow, just wow... what a great experience. Not your average Mexican cuisine, more like Mexico City gourmet... not that I don't love me a good street taco. Came for my birthday and everything was damn near to perfect... even the suggested Mexican wine turned out to be amazing. Watch out California...”

“Heritage Restaurant, Long Beach – A Well-Earned Michelin Star by Michael Broderick. In a city where “Californian” culinary ambition often plays second fiddle to casual dining, Heritage in Long Beach has carved out a place of quiet excellence, earning a well-deserved Michelin star. This intimate dining experience is a testament to ingredient-driven, technique-forward cooking, where flavors are both restrained, unpretentious, and deeply expressive. From the first bite, it was clear that Heritage excels at layering textures and flavors in unexpected ways. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche trio: a delicate prawn cracker topped with sweet Dungeness crab, a green leaf with another seafood salad that was to be eaten like a mini street taco, and balanced with the brightness and light crunch of pickled turnip. A seemingly simple couple of bites, but one that foreshadowed the precision and thoughtfulness of the courses to follow. To cleanse the palate, a mint tea infused with palo santo was served—a meditative interlude that was both refreshing and aromatic, setting the stage for the evening’s journey. The first official course, Crème Caviar, featured Russian Sturgeon Heritage Caviar and chive, a chilled preparation that was rich yet elegantly restrained. This was followed by Kanpachi Crudo, presented with carrot, ginger, and macédoine vegetables, offering a balance of clean ocean flavors against bright, vegetal undertones. Then came what I consider the star of the evening: a dish that fully captured the ethos of Heritage—Hen of the Woods Mushroom, topped in a “sunchoke stew” (crispy fried sunchoke) with fermented mushroom. For an additional $25, an indulgent shaving of black truffle took the dish to another level, transforming it into a sensory experience that evoked the deep, earthy satisfaction of foraging. The interplay of umami-rich elements made this course a masterpiece of textural and flavor contrast. The proteins that followed were executed with equal care. First, a perfectly prepared Rainbow Trout, sauted to perfection with a crispy layer of skin on one side, delicate pink flesh on the other, bathed in a delicate dashi and punctuated with bursts of smoked trout roe in a light creme sauce, which lent salinity and depth. Then, a 32-day dry-aged rib chop, a cut that can sometimes lean too “gamey” in the tradiinal steak house that cuts corners on a post aging trim, yet here was a revelation—tender, deeply beefy, but balanced. Accompanying the dish was sous vide endive, black garlic, and a shaving of Parmesan, which surprisingly lacked the usual sharpness, instead presenting a more rounded, delicate, nutty flavor. Desserts were a study in technique and balance. The first, a Grilled Strawberry with strawberry granita and Meyer lemon crème, was bright and refreshing, its layers revealing different expressions of cool and sweetness. Then came the Coco Craquelin, a delicate choux pastry filled with beurre noisette ganache and banana cremeux, meant to be eaten with the hands—a playful and interactive moment in the meal. Finally, a Sage Basque Cake, its subtle herbaceousness complemented by toasted hemp seeds and lemon curd, provided a grounding, crispy finish. Heritage is the kind of restaurant that doesn’t simply chase trends—it refines them into something personal, something intentional. The execution is confident but never showy, and the experience is paced with precision, allowing each dish to tell its own story. This is not just a meal—it’s a quiet, profound meditation on flavor, technique, and the land from which it all comes. Where other restaurant profess to be a true “Californian” style farm to table experience , Heritage is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who seeks out truly exceptional dining in California.”
“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)”

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!”

“This place is awesome. Really good food, drinks & merch. The only complaint I have is I wish people with their laptops who sit at a 4 top table alone understood how selfish that is when this place is incredibly busy. I always thought cafes should have a time limit for people with laptops or a bar set up on the wall just for people with laptops. You literally are fighting for your life for a table there on the weekends. Will still go though lol”
“Love love love the food , great dinner I fly out here just for this place”

“Lunch (Brunch) Saturday June 8 Been reading many glowing reviews ..R they deserved ? If all dishes as flavorful as the Lamb” Secco” Then YES Not cheap , but If I am spending $40-50 person ,the food had Better taste like this. Also good: basic Margherita Pizza. Beer list is thoughtful. Wife REALLY enjoyed her Anderson Valley Rose wine with the Lamb dish Bottom line: this cafe is worth supporting. Thanks for setting up shop in Coastal Long Beach- Naples”
“What a treat to find this place! My husband and I both had the falafel pita pockets... they were large enough that we could have shared! The falafel was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were excellent and the lentil soup was delicious, very flavorful. Our waiter was very attentive and the ambience was delightful... really enjoyed the tastefully vibrant decor. Will return!”
“I'm mad that I can't remember our server's name because she was great!!!! The food is fantastic, paced perfectly, and we could not have been happier. A+”
“The service was great, the ingredients were fresh, and we will be back next time.”

“I stopped by for a quick bite. I was drawn by their $5.99 California double cheeseburger combo. Inside is clean. Got some summer vibe decorations and Long Beach murals on the walls. Played some current music. The staff are nice and helpful. Nice spot, overall clean and cool vibes plus the food was good and prices affordable. I know there's plenty of options around the area but this place was a good choice.”
“On wednesday, I went to this Subway. I was really hungry, and my mood had been terrible since morning- I had fought with everyone. When I got there, I met Mr. Ravi, an Indian guy. When I asked him for an extra scoop of tuna, he told me it would cost extra, and I got annoyed because it looked too little. I was already angry, but he handled the situation so calmly and respectfully that he actually made me laugh in the end. His service was so good that it genuinely made me want to leave a review, because he was completely right from his side. I truly salute that kind of customer service.”
“Good attitudes, good tasting sandwiches and add what you want, Convenient late hours. On one occasion when soup taken out, was too salty, the cream of broccoli .
Can get special deals if you can find the coupons, they use to send in mail
once a month or so. When in the subway mood, we go there. :)”
“The fries were cold and I was shocked. The fries are usually very fresh and hot. I had to go inside and ask for fresh fries. I also watched to make sure they didn't mix my fries with the cold ones. While I waited I noticed the same cold fries they gave me they made sure to give to the other drivers in the drive through before my fresh fries were done. Smh 🙄”
“The carnitas burrito was amazing, that's my go to, and haven't had a decent one in a long time. Meat was tender, flavor was excellent, I wanted to savor each bite, I am a critic when it comes to food , especially my favorite which is Mexican and carnitas, definitely did not disappoint. My daughter absolutely loves birria, I'll have to try it, we will order again! Thank you for great quality”
“Am not sure where in the world I stated I had a great time because I didn’t idk why jack would reply that to my comment I have no issue with customer service the staff are friendly and welcoming they can be busy at times so it seems their short on staff and I give it to those who have to step up and be 3 places at the same time trying to get things done am a regular customer and just recently I had a inconvenience hear I don’t blame the staff I feel like the managers who are in their office not on site or whoever own this jack put their workers for failure I always order on the app and pick up my order and so it seems their has been fraud going on now you are required to show id on orders over 44 dollars which it would be nice if they had notify on the app before purchase because when I got their to pick up i was told they had to cancel my order redo it and so forth which was very inconvenient am unable to jot down the full story but yes have a Sign or something you know but like I said I don’t blame the people who work hear and bust their self working hard I blame those who sit pretty behind their desk with higher positions who don’t have to deal with customers who can be rude and to top it off I haven’t even got a refund and this was Sunday and my bank is already processed the transaction it’s on jack now”
“Been here countless times. A little dingey, a few bums/homeless hang out here alot. But the staff is friendly, courteous, and never have any of my orders been shorted or mixed up. That's at any hour (24hrs). Once I've had to substitute my curly fries for tacos or egg rolls, it was a win-win. All of them are highly motivated and genuinely care about the service they provide. Tip: order online you can get good specials online ordering here, download the app fools! Keep up the good work staff, this has made me hungry, later!”
“Have you been looking for the perfect restaurant? This is it. Service, atmosphere, creative menu, all just what you want. Don't miss the lemon pasta or the persimmon salad! Heaven!”
“The flies are crazy and parking is a chore but never disappointed. Trendy and tasty. Worth it each time. Could use more pest control but vibey enough to look past it”
“This place is SOOOO good! Everything is so full of flavor, and you can tell it's made with love. The carnitas tacos are phenomenal. Savory, citrusy, with just the right kick, they are so delicious. But honestly, everything is so good.. The nachos are fried fresh with fresh tortillas made in the morning, the guacamole is hand-made and thick with just the right seasoning, and all of the proteins are perfectly marinated and made with care. And the staff and owners are the coolest people. Friendly, down-to-earth, and they all put their heart and soul into this place. We'll definitely be back!”

“El fin de semana celebramos la quinceañera de mi hija en Rivera's Restaurant y todo estuvo excelente. Desde el primer acercamiento George siempre fue muy amable y comprensivo con lo que esperábamos para nuestra fiesta. La decoración y sobre todo la comida y atención a nuestros invitados fue excelente. Estamos convencidos que volveriamos a tener otro evento con ellos.”
“The San Pedro location, unfortunately, wasn’t accepting online orders, so I made the trek to the Long Beach location. Thankfully, this location was accepting online orders, sparing me a 6 a.m. pastry pilgrimage. I scheduled a 12:45 p.m. pickup but didn’t arrive until 1:45 p.m., so I won’t fault the pastries if they weren’t piping hot.
Colossus Bakery on 2nd Street sits near some of my favorite Long Beach spots, like Holey Grail Donuts and Win-Dow. I ordered three items: a cardamom bun, kouign amann, and pecan sticky bun, eaten in that order, which also reflects my ranking.
The cardamom bun was delicious: the spice came through without overpowering the pastry. It was denser and doughier than the light, airy pastries I usually favor, but still excellent. The kouign amann was similarly dense, though each bite had a satisfying audible crispness. The pecan sticky bun lived up to its sticky reputation with plenty of nuts, though it ended up my least favorite of the three (but still very good).
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my pastries. I imagine they’d be even better fresh or warmed, and I can’t wait to work through the rest of the menu. Colossus Bakery has officially joined my elite Los Angeles/Long Beach pastry rotation. Highly recommended!”
“Great all around food choices with excellent quality! All the staff are personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great service with great prices!! Love Appu’s”
“Great food! You do have to wait a bit, but that means the food is made fresh. I tried Student Noodle, Phnom Penh Noodle, and Crispy Pork Belly. Crispy Pork Belly was the best.
It's a long drive from LA, but it's worth it to try Cambodian food bc it's distinct from Thai/Vietnamese food. I'd go back to try fried fish and Khmer favorites.
It's a diner style atmosphere with Cambodian decorations.”

“Even if not stopping on the way home, the charcoal aroma makes their asada of the best fills the street almost everyday providing comfort for us in the neighborhood. As many reviews mention the pastor, it is worth its weight in gold. I bounce back and forth getting each.
My only wish, alongside one review, is that they were on the spicier side... Definitely doesnt diminish the pure excellence of this place though and they're of the best. I'll be back soon and thank you for being in the neighborhood.”
“I like too much the Greek food at George’s , the lamb was delicious as well as the hole plate and wine. Every time that I come to LB from Brasil , I need going and try new culinary features. So yummy”
“Everyone happy with meal. Large party next to us made it more noisy than usual, but still a great time. Service as always was excellent!! Happy Holidays”
Fine Dining
“My new favorite sushi spot in Long Beach. Omg - once, they had some uni from Japan (not Santa Barbara, like most uni here) that was unREAL. I’d advise getting some of the regular sushi/sashimi and not just rolls. Their ramen is bomb, too. As are their appetizers. We usually get the spicy edamame. The owner is a gem, too. Really nice lady who remembers her customers, which always feels nice.”

“Great service! We called beforehand to confirm the kitchen would still be open, 6:30 pm on Sunday night when they close at 7 pm. Lady was super nice and kept saying of course, come in. We order ox tail noodle soup, crispy noodles with chicken and wonton noodle soup for my 2 young kids. More than enough food, each dish was between $15 and $11 and good portions each. The Lady also had a young son and the kids played at the end in the dining area bc we were the only table, which is a travesty. They should be way busier for the taste and size of their food. If you are hungry in the area, you should definitely eat here.”
“I absolutely Love Love LB Unified Bar & Lounge. If your looking for an amazing time with great music, great people, delicious food - a place to meet and network with entrepreneurs, business owners and the like- this is the place to be!!! The owner Chuckie Miller knows how to make sure everyone has the Best time!! Drinks/ Sports/ Music/ Conversation!!”
“Juat visited this place and ordered 4 rolls for two of us thinking they would be normal size. But instead, each one was a meal for an average person. They were also delicious! Very impressed and will definitely return. Street parking only, and not the cleanest neighborhood but well worth it.”
“I love Thai food and I love pizza, so this place really picqued my interest. The restaurant itself was pretty small, simple, no-frills -- Just a few tables and an ordering window. The pizza comes in 3 sizes; A small pizza is enough to feed 1-2 people. As recommended, we ordered 2 small (10-inch) pizzas to share (Thai Curry Chicken and Tom Yum with chicken). Both pizzas were warm and delicious, made fresh with a soft chewy bread and hearty toppings. I might've preferred more sauce and less cheese on the Thai curry pizza, since the cheese was kind of overpowering. I'd also recommend getting extra sauce on the side ($2 each) to dip the crust in! The worker lady who brought us our food was very accommodating, and the chef was a sweet old man that even came out at the end of the night to talk to the customers. Overall a good experience. I would definitely come back here again! :)”
“I love spending time at high tea! I wanted to take my daughters somewhere different, and the Wicked Wolf Cocktail Bar had popped up on my Facebook page. I explored their website and the eclectic offerings were just what I was looking for...plus they received 4.8 stars on Google! Don't let the exterior fool you...when you walk inside it's magical. The tea sandwiches and scones were mouth-watering and each individual pot of tea was just what we wanted. But the best of all was our fantastic waiter Ishmael...he was attentive, interesting, and friendly. He even took us on tour of the rooftop seating. I cannot wait to return!!!”
“This is the best bakery in town hands down no cap. While other bakeries overload their cookies with sugar and unesessary distractions, Foodology gets it right with an assortment of treats for everyone. I love the small cookie cubes as they're perfect for sharing or for the kids if you dont want to give them a huge portion.”
“I just got back from going here with my daughter and I always recommend this spot to family and friends, I’ve been a fan of this place since I first went about four years ago.on a date. Such delicious food and unique options on the menu. I also like the atmosphere and the people that work there are always really friendly andcool people.”
“I love this place!! There food is absolutely amazing, as is their customer service! Recommend the mushrooms for an appetizer and bread pudding for dessert!!”
“Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and had a fabulous dinner with amazing service.”
“Wish I had taken photos. This is in the top 3 of Thai restaurants I have ever eaten. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. The flavors were perfect. Would go back!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Exceptional Italian Dining I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at L'Opera Italian Restaurant. From the moment we sat down, everything was perfect. Even the table bread stood out — warm, incredibly soft, and so fresh it practically melted in your mouth. It set the tone for an amazing meal. We started with the burrata, which was unbelievably creamy and paired beautifully with the tomatoes and seasonings. It was fresh, flavorful, and one of the best burrata plates I've had anywhere. The lasagna with vodka sauce was the highlight of the night. The layers were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the vodka sauce had the ideal balance of richness and flavor without being heavy. You can taste the quality in every bite. The ravioli was just as impressive — perfectly cooked, generously filled, and served with a sauce that complemented it perfectly. Everything tasted homemade, authentic, and crafted with care. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was elegant yet comfortable. The staff checked in at the right times and made the experience feel special without being intrusive. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. L'Opera is officially one of my new favorite Italian restaurants. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for amazing food, great service, and a memorable dining experience”
“Love this place .. the staff there is so friendly It’s amazing they make you feel so welcomed and the food is so fresh.”

“I just ate here for the first time and it was incredible and I loved the non alcohol drink flight!”
“Love this place,my family and friends have been going there for years, was so bummed when it burned down but just as good after it came back, always my first choice when I get the chance to be in town, and always great”
“Great service and great food! My family loves this place!! 👍🏻”

“We ordered this takeout. I must say, even with a 15 minute drive home, the food was delicious. The food was very, very tasty and cooked to perfection. It was a little pricey but worth it.”
“Claire’s at the Museum is aesthetically pleasing. The view is gorgeous, and the food is delicious! Spent my birthday here and it did not disappoint!! ❤️”
“We were celebrating a birthday and our experience was beyond anyone's expectations. Food was delightful with amazing service by Jesse. Can't wait to go back just because!”
“Always have a great meal at Simmzy’s. I had cauliflower tacos and they were excellent (and I’m not a vegetarian). Sweet potato fries were great. I’m the past I’ve had the chicken tortilla soup- it’s one of the best! Pet and child friendly.”
“Phenomenal food that leaves you wanting more. The oysters were delicious and fresh, everything you could want. Figs and apples were a light, refreshing snack with a hint of spice. Everything was delicately prepared to perfection and even the wine accompanied everything so beautifully. Prawns seasoned well and were a great size too. Every bite was delightful and worth the wait. I look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.”
“Had dinner there Friday night. Our server was Nadia. She was excellent. Gave great recommendations, was friendly and timely. The food was tasty, large portions and the perfect temp. Order the crème brûlée! SOOO GOOD”
“Great food and drinks. Highly recommend the beet salad and scallops. The atmosphere, however, leaves a bit to be desired. For the price point and style of cuisine, it would have been nice to see warmer lighting and more intimate seating.”
“Excellent service. Excellent food. Definitely returning. Thanks!”
“Have eaten here about 10 times . This restaurant doesn’t disappoint. I’ve tried all there’s sushi roll which are always fresh and delicious.”
“The BlackYardhouse in Long Beach is a great choice for happy hour food and beer. We enjoyed the poke nachos (excellent), the Brussels sprouts (also delicious) and a variety of beers. Katie was our server and made our meal even better with her positive and helpful suggestions. This Yard House has the benefit of a great location on the marina, and offers stellar food and beer at terrific happy hour prices. Look no further.”
“Very good. Everything was great. Smiple things done in amazing ways. Tomato soup was incredible. Bread on the sandwiches green tea just high end food. Cute Quaint place.Home made potato chips.
I'll be back thanks”
“Had an amazing meal in a chic and cozy booth with spot-on decor, food presentation & atmosphere. Great margaritas!”
“My first time here , came based off Google reviews. Absolutely wish we can order everything off the menu but my stomach can't take it all!! I ordered the Cantonese filet mignon stir fry with mushrooms, onions and Thai basil leaves and it was soooo flavorful and tender. My friend ordered the chow mein with chicken and it was soo delicious and I'm not talking about the panda express type chow mein. Can tell that this place really uses quality ingredients. Love the atmosphere. Hope to come back here again with my family to enjoy their dimsum!! I definitely want to try their Boston lobster fish next time!! Please check this restaurant out if you are a local or coming from out of town! It's a must😊”
“Such a cozy spot with a fantastic vibe! The wine selection here is impressive, offering something for every taste. Whether you're a connoisseur or just looking to enjoy a glass, you’ll find the perfect pour. It's easily one of the best bars in Long Beach, with a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that makes it the ideal place to unwind. Highly recommend it for a laid-back evening with great wine and great company!”
“Great restaurant and food. Will be a great addition to the Valley!”
“Sushi mafia is by far the best preparation of Sushi and sushimi I recommend this place to all my friends and family everybody come out and enjoy the best I've had highly recommend this place.”
“I stopped by this diner today on my way back from the farmers market, not far from my house. I ordered the salmon filet and an orange juice. The food was good — the salmon was fresh and flavorful, served with vegetables and a small portion of soup with garlic bread.
The warm interior and welcoming service made the experience even better. Even the other visitors seemed friendly and comfortable, as if they visit this place often. On her way out, one lady even stopped to chat with the staff and wished them a good day — it created such a positive, local atmosphere.
Overall, it’s a charming spot with good food and a very inviting vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“I had the catfish and fries with cornbread it was simply amazing it was so good nice and hot fresh I'll definitely be back again and I will recommend this restaurant to all of my family and friends”
“Been twice now to this location, looking forward to going again. Friendly and helpful staff, great value, food is fresh and balanced for a healthier choice. Seating is indoor or outdoor. Service is fast too. Very clean and good music.”
“Great crispy Brussels sprouts, slightly sweet with bacon, and I loved the bleu cheese on it so much!they must have been out of wine/ champagne glasses for my drink. It was happy hour during the week, not very busy. I’m an out of towner but would probably go again next time and try their sandwiches”
“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm”
“Today was our first time here...and OMGosh...it did not disappoint! Friends & family have recommended Los Compadres and finally got to try this place! Food was sooo DELICIOUS, friendly atmosphere, customer service was EXCELLENT! We definitely will be going back...we cant wait to try other food on the menu...totally recommend it!”
“Nice restaurant and location on the harbor, food is really flavorful, had filet special and mahi mahi (a tad fishy) and heavy on the carbs/mashed potatoes for the price. Cocktails oK but nothing special and did not like the huge ice ball in my old fashion, took up the whole class, again for the price not a good value and added orange slice not muddled in the drink. Wife and I split a calamari appetizer with another couple and had 2 meals and 3 drinks was $150 before tip! Have dined here several times over the years and really like the restaurant, but this time I feel like we overpaid. Maybe just drinks and appetizers on the deck next time.”
“I drive by this place all the time. It's right off the 405 freeway. And I finally got to try this place. I ordered the #8 Supreme plate. It came with a small lobster tail and Angus steak which were both nice and tender. It also came with fried rice which was good and buttery. It came with mixed vegetables: onions, carrots, and zucchini. I really enjoyed the service here. The guy working the cash register was extremely nice and attentive. He made sure everyone in there was properly taken care of. I really enjoyed this place and I can't wait to come back here and try other items on their menu.”
“I love Ellie’s they are my neighborhood spot! I always take friends and recommend to people visiting. Not only is the food absolutely delicious but the staff is amazing. The coffee house down the block doesn’t allow dogs in and I like to grab a coffee for our morning walks and they always take care of us! Thank you so much for contributing to our neighborhood and food scene 🤍🤍🤍”
“I wanna do this business justice without turning this local gem into a spot where you have to wait 50 mins to be seated.
The sushi is fresh and tasty - manageable portions so you can really try a bunch of things without completely over-ordering.
My wife and I have made this our local AYCE sushi joint. Will 1000% be back! 🍣”
“Kihon is the BEST sushi restaurant in Long Beach hands down. Go enjoy the tastiest food and you can thank me later! 😀”
“Amazing food and service! Don't live anywhere close, but if we ever come back we'll definitely stop by again. We celebrated our bdays and anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better place. Bartender was very nice and all the drinks he made were great! Thank you!”
“Came here for a business dinner and was seated outside on a beautiful evening. Started off with a mix of oysters and the Cevichos. Both were excellent. Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. Really good restaurant!”
“This place is amazing! Great beer and pizza by the slice! They even put on the dodger game for us with sound in the patio, so dope! We hung out and got food cause we didn't want to leave. Must try 😁🤙”
“Fabulous restaurant in an elegant old style European decor. really miss it now that I no longer live in Long Beach”
“Great good and drinks. Great happy hour and weekly specials like Wine Wednesday. Friendly and welcoming.”
“Absolutely lovely place with an amazing selections of wines. Marie is friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait until they open up their cafe next door.”
“My husband and I went to Parker’s Lighthouse for dinner on a Friday night, the first time at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service we received from our waiter and other waiters, no wait for a table, due to ample indoor and outdoor seating available, and the food was great. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name, he was in his 20’s, tall/lean, brunette, great personality, and great service. The only complaint I have is the hostess did not sit us at a great table originally, it took her three times to find a table with some kind of a view, there was plenty of seating options that had a partial or full view.”
“Not the type of crowd I'm used to very urban but food was reasonable I've had better at other locations not sure if there's a different distributor for meat. Friendly staff, but don't like the ambiance.”

“4th street vine is our favorite venue at our favorite airport (Long Beach)!! Michael is fantastic, covered the whole place on a regular basis and was making sure everyone was comfortable and happy! Pricy but comfortable!”
“Truly is an F1 spot. Great beers, sound is on, couldn't ask for anything better when you can't make the race in person. Everything from the blonde to sours have great taste. Food options are close and whatever they have in the back (especially the BBQ) is tasty. Enjoy!”

“The older Asian man who took our order was not friendly at all. (The first thought that entered my mind was that he was a racist) Upon entering the restaurant my friend and I greeted him twice he never did open his mouth and speak. It was our first time there so I had questions about what I wanted to order. He was very pushy and impolite rushing us even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. We should have turned around and walked out but we were tired so we ignored his rudeness. The rice was good but I wondered how it could be cooked to order when we got it right away.”
“YUMMYLICIOUS! You want a good beefy burger, perfectly season and portioned properly.. Dude, stop by and get a real FATTY Burger and the varieties are spectacular. You mouth buds and tummy will sing a happy song. Just orders the Peyton and I am salivating already. ENJOY!”

“We went for Thanksgiving, this is our second year. Great food, and a wonderful place to be if you don't have family around. We had the same waitress both times and she was absolutely fabulous! I can't recall her name, except it starts with the letter "J". We will probably do Thanksgiving there next year as well!!”
“My husband and I were driving around downtown Long Beach and decided to stop in. We had a slight mishap, I will not leave along, but will focus more on the solution. Our waiter, whose name I don’t know unfortunately, went to the GM, Marti, without us requesting one, and she came over and quickly rectified the situation. What stood out to me most was that she said we were in her house and she wants us to be happy and comfortable when we visit. She also checked on us in addition to our waiter throughout the night. She changed our experience and because of her, we will be back.”
“I believe this is one of the last remaining Acapulco restaurants in the region. (Thirty years ago my husband and I became engaged in an Acapulco that has long since closed.) This one is a gem, with lovely views right on the water. Evelyn was our marvelous server. She made guacamole at the table and it was excellent. All of our dishes were yummy - the salmon entree, spinach enchiladas, and more. The margaritas were a little light on the tequila. We wish we lived closer to this location so we could visit more often.”

“Very friendly service, food was good, the chopped cheese was NY style and delicious. The best part of the experience was the friendly lady that had a genuine and open style. She obviously wanted me to enjoy the sandwich and asked questions to make sure I got what I wanted.”
“WOW. I stopped here on the last day of my trip by happenstance and they blew me away beyond belief. From the moment I walked in the ambiance was incredible. I had beyond fantastic service and really felt taken care of. I ordered a chicken taco and a bean and cheese and was BLOWN away. The sauces are increíble but what makes this place different is the incredible tortillas. I had to take some home with me because I couldn’t live without them. Overall an over 10/10 experience and I will be planning my next trip to Long Beach just for another visit to Sonoratown!!”
“It’s not really great for gluten free but that’s normal for coffee shops. I like the steamers: hot milk of your choice with a syrup of your choice. It was perfect to warm up with after a long day. The music plays softly in the background and you can have a conversation easily. They also use Joshua Tree Coffee which is a great coffee. Service was helpful and polite.”
“Leo’s is always a hit! We ordered the tripe quesadilla, al pastor gordita, and 3 tacos (Al pastor, asada, and lengua). The gordita was hugeee! We love the quesadilla here paired with the crispy tripe. Their meats are all super flavorful! My favorites were the Al pastor and lengua. All their salsas are delicious as well, and the orange salsa is pretty spicy!”
“I was actually trying to head over to Coffee Station, but the rain started picking up and I ended up stumbling into Anna’s Joint on Pine instead — easily one of the best accidental finds I’ve had in a while.
I ordered the Pine & 5th on sourdough (half sandwich) along with a tomato soup, and the combo was perfect for a rainy day. The Pine & 5th comes stacked with roast beef, tomato, arugula, garlic aioli, mustard, and onion jam — and let me tell you, those last two ingredients are what really make the whole thing stand out. The garlic aioli adds that rich, savory kick, and the onion jam brings in a sweet depth that balances everything out. Every bite was flavorful without being heavy.
The tomato soup was the ideal pairing: warm, savory, and just comforting enough to tie the entire meal together. Simple, but done right.
Anna’s Joint itself is a cozy little café. Seating is limited, but it’s connected to a bar next door, so you can spill over if the café side gets crowded. They also have a grab-and-go option, but honestly — I recommend sitting down and enjoying your meal here. It has the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to slow down for a minute.
If you’re in the area, the Pine & 5th is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommend.”
“Freshest most delicious açaí bowls in LA. The fruit toppings are organic and perfectly ripe. The passion fruit bowl is so damn yummmy. I’ve also tried the smoothies the Ube smoothie is a must try. I’ve been a repeat customer since day one it’s that good also the owner is always good vibes!”
“Made my wade over to Our Spot for a proper drink of Coffee and met Chris. Had a lovely time talking about coffee community and a few other things. I had the Hot hunny with espresso and it was so DELICIOUS that I went home with a Runaway cookie. I will be seeing him again soon with a group of my friends.”
“Stopped by with my sister after the Long Beach Trolley Christmas Lights Tour through Naples. Everything we ordered was delicious, highly recommend the loaded Mac n cheese w brisket, I’m no stranger to soul food and this mac rivaled my own… so creamy. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The bbq sandwich with brisket and pulled pork was so flavorful, it didn’t even need sauce. Don’t get me started on the soft, chewy buns…The staff, not sure if the owner, was soooooo genuinely kindhearted. He made our family time even more special, laughing with us and letting us try the wings and dirty rice (try themmm!!!! Soooo good). Over the top tasty bbq AND sides. 10/10 would recommend. Oh and they were playing the jams (not too loud), nice to sing along between bites.”
