“I had the opportunity to share in this experience with my Twin foodie. We started off with the Caviar Quintet and then proceeded to order the ENTIRE small plates menu. It was a culinary journey rooted in love for fresh foods and a passion for food that tastes good. I enjoyed the intimate setting and being able to watch the culinary chef in action as he prepared our dishes. This is a must if you enjoy dining experiences, good food, and good company. The menu changes seasonally so I will be back to experience more unique and flavorful dishes.”

So, we decided to try it, and we are glad we did. Our meals were cooked fresh to order and they were delicious! “This is our “go to” place in Sausalito for my wife and I so we decided to take our visitors from Canada here. Everything was going well until my order, the bone in veal chop special, arrived more than 5 minutes later than everyone else's main course. The issue is that when my order arrived, there was a barely an apology or any offers to adjust our bill. Sad.”

“What a true gem! This place was opened in 1975 and welcomes guests with as much love as day one. Fōtis (Frank) and Evangelina (Eva) were amazing and the food cooked by them was a piece of Greek heaven. I got the gyro with a side of Greek salad. It was so good I ended up getting a Prosciutto di Parma & a Spanakopita to go as well. I will definitely be back! Efcharistó poli!”

“Not just convenient but a must visit. The sandwiches have been great for years and years. I just stopped in for excedrin extra strength (which they had stocked) thank god—I decided to also grab the all American sandwich, it was divine. Everything top quality. The service was beautiful, very welcoming and helpful. Really like this place!”

“So incredibly pleased with our experience at this restaurant. From the service to the food everything was perfect.
We came in when they were only doing take out, which we said we were more than okay to do, but they insisted to set up a table for us.
We got the Thai iced tea, salad rolls, pot stickers, pho, and egg noodle dish. Each was so incredible, and some of the best of the dishes Ive tried. Portion sizes were massive, a great price for what you get.
Our drinks were refilled as soon as they were close to empty, and we were given any sauce we could’ve needed, the service was so quick.
The staff was so friendly would highly recommend, a hidden gem:)”

“The restaurant is lovely, it feels like a small small trataria Italy. The service was perfect, very conscious of the customer's needs. The burrata salad was delicious as was the pizza. The pizzas are cooked, as one would expect in a wood fired stove and are absolutely the best in every way. I want to go back and go through the menu and eat every thing.”

“This hamburger place in Sausalito is amazing! You can watch them make the burgers through the window and they are delicious. There’s not a lot of seating inside, so you’ll probably have to take it to go. They do have seating, but seems like it can only accommodate 4 people at 2 per table. The staff is good, although not overly friendly, but I can see how they’re heads down with the food and orders. The place is really small, but the experience is great.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accommodating for wheelchair access.”

“Bartenders had it rough with our group. And then some of our group got overpoured and dropped a drink on the floor. They were gentle and quick to clean around, and patient despite our rubbish behavior.”

“Fantastic standard Hawaiian fare. The chicken katsu was fried to perfection - crispy breading on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. The chicken teriyaki was solid as well. The macaroni salad was solid.

Everything here was well-prepared and priced reasonably.

“Angelino is my favorite Bay Area Italian restaurant. Family owned and operated, and the chef/owner is always available for a chat. The food is outstanding with service and value right up there as well. We visited for 4th of July dinner, and it was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks. Check out the black lounge seat outside the door...perfect for warming your behind on a chilly summer night!!!😍”

“We heard so much about this place, we came over from San Francisco specifically to try it out! What a perfect spot to have a taste of some amazing wines and an array of incredible cheeses and crackers. You walk inside and it’s a little shop with a bar counter on the right. You order what you like and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view!! I am so looking forward to coming back on my next visit. Make it a point to stop in, you won’t be disappointed!!”

“Loved the Bump Bar. Had an early Valentine's Day and Late Anniversary dinner in Feb 11. Enjoyed sitting at the end of the bar. Hosts and chef were friendly and inviting. Enjoyed learning about the Japanese grill used on the trout and steak dishes (which were delicious) never had potatoes prepared like the potato dish we had that night. Really enjoyed the California Caviar Company house flight of Caviar. We will go back again in the future. Thank you for a great night.”

“Not only do I recommend Saylor's, but my wife and I will take a 3 hour drive just to enjoy the amazing food and drink, and outstanding staff. We do look for a good reason for a road trip and Saylor's is beyond satisfying. We'd be in trouble if we lived closer. 😁”

“We had dinner on Saturday night, restaurant was not crowded however we understand that the staff was dealing with take out orders. Service was very slow for our order which seemed pretty straightforward: a soup and padthai. Other guests were served more quickly; people at the next table ordered just before we did, got their food, ate and left beforewe got our food?!? On another note, we were not able to dine on the terrasse since it was a bit chilly and there is only one heater that is broken. Buying more heaters should be made a priority. This said, the food was delicious and tasted very fresh. We all loved it. So highly recommend for the food and maybe ordering as take out, only!”

“During a recent visit to Sausalito, I stopped by Lappert’s Ice Cream, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. There was a bit of a line, but it moved steadily—and the wait was well worth it.

I tried their Ube ice cream, and it was exceptional. The flavor was rich, authentic, and subtly sweet, with a creamy texture that made every bite satisfying. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients and put care into their flavor profiles.”

“I don’t have a lot to say about this place. But if you gotten lost trying to find the house boats in Sausalito and lucky enough to have stopped in here and purchased a sandwich being made in front of you. You’re very lucky there’s a plethora of handmade sandwiches to choose from, my favorite is the grandma when I walk, and I scream it out and scare the hell help. For which I am truly not sorry :-) great sandwiches give it a try.”

“The pizza here was very good. It was nicely sized and had great flavor. A full pizza costs about $18.50 and a slice costs about $6.50. The service was very good and the workers were very nice. It took a little while to get our food but it was worth it. The outside seating had a beautiful view of the bay. We even got our water in a bottle! If you are around the area, I would recommend trying this place.”

“Was strolling through the Sausalito neighborhood and decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The location is fantastic, overlooking the bay!

Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends. There are a few public lots nearby, but they can fill up quickly. I went on a weekday so I got street parking in a walkable distance.

As for the food, I ordered fish and chips and a beer. The portions are generous, making it great value for the price.”

“Great bistro by the water! We arrived shortly after opening on Saturday and were seated immediately. We chose the covered outdoor seating. It can get chilly so bring your jacket. There's also plenty of indoor seating.

The burger was delicious and the shoestring fries were great with the aioli. The pain perdu was so soft and yummy; fantastic french toast with berry compote. The croque madame was great as well with a nice side salad. I love bread and all the bread from these dishes were stuff my face good.

There's a dedicated valet parking lot for $5. The surrounding parking spots are all permit parking until you get to the bridgeway.

“Yesterday, my sister and I had the BEST table at the Iconic Spinnaker Seafood Restaurant in Sausalito - the at table at the far corner facing San Francisco! WOW - What a beautiful and clear day, with just a 'hint' of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean side. The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! Our servers were Alex and Francisco ("Francisco:))" who attended to our every need - even politely and notably giving extra time, as I was Determined to enjoy EVERY bite of my more than delicious, Crab Louie!! With a menu that is FULL of Classic Bay Area Seafood offerings, an Iconic setting and ambiance, and Incredible view of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and The City, I would change nothing about my visit! Thank You Spinnaker for a More Than Memorable Bay Area Experience!!”

“Fantastic ice cream! We had the Kauai Pie, which is Kona Coffee, Chocolate Fudge, Macadamia Nuts and Chunks of coconut. Extremely yummy! A scoop as of June 2024 is $6, and it’s pretty large.

The sitting is by a busy road so not the most romantic.”

“Place was great for the touristy Sausalito scene. Wondered in after lunch at Poggio (which was great) and had a couple scones and a brownie. The charred classic Blodgett oven on the way to the restroom says it all. These guys are legit.
We love Sausalito, didn’t mean to be negative but the bike across the bridge crowd can soil the vibe.”

Will visit again to try out a couple more chocolate bars. A nice gem which showcases a variety of chocolates from around the world!”
