So, we decided to try it, and we are glad we did. Our meals were cooked fresh to order and they were delicious! “I try to visit Fred’s once per week. My favorite restaurant for breakfast in Marin. A friendly, helpful, attentive staff and a first-rate team working hard at the grill. A mix of locals, tourists, and some who go out of their way to see why Fred’s is a favorite for all. 😊”

“Needed a quick coffee fix and decided to give this place a shot since I was out in Mill Valley. Called ahead and they had my order ready when I arrived—on time, just as promised. The staff was friendly and the coffee hit the spot. Definitely made my morning smoother, though I might try something different next time; the selection can be a bit overwhelming for a first-timer.”

“The restaurant is lovely, it feels like a small small trataria Italy. The service was perfect, very conscious of the customer's needs. The burrata salad was delicious as was the pizza. The pizzas are cooked, as one would expect in a wood fired stove and are absolutely the best in every way. I want to go back and go through the menu and eat every thing.”

“If you're in and around Sausalito and want some pretty good Chinese (not the absolute best but good enough), then check this place out. Does get busy at times, but nice for lunch. Food portions are decent, and the staff is super friendly!”

“Really surprised this nondescript hole in the wall joint had excellent pizza! The service was super fast too despite the shop being busy, I could see staff hurrying to make more pizza as flavors ran out. They sell pizza by the slice so it's super convenient to grab a bite here.”

“I took our kids to Lappert's Ice Cream this Sunday and had such a great experience! There was a good crowd so I had high expectations. The line moved quickly and efficiently. The staff was incredibly engaging, friendly, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish.

They have a huge selection of ice cream flavors, including some really unique and delicious-looking options you won't find at most other ice cream shops. Everything we tried tasted amazing and was clearly high quality.

This was such a fun family stop, and we'll definitely be back again. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for great ice cream and a welcoming atmosphere!”

“We had dinner on Saturday night, restaurant was not crowded however we understand that the staff was dealing with take out orders. Service was very slow for our order which seemed pretty straightforward: a soup and padthai. Other guests were served more quickly; people at the next table ordered just before we did, got their food, ate and left beforewe got our food?!? On another note, we were not able to dine on the terrasse since it was a bit chilly and there is only one heater that is broken. Buying more heaters should be made a priority. This said, the food was delicious and tasted very fresh. We all loved it. So highly recommend for the food and maybe ordering as take out, only!”

But if you gotten lost trying to find the house boats in Sausalito and lucky enough to have stopped in here and purchased a sandwich being made in front of you. You’re very lucky there’s a plethora of handmade sandwiches to choose from, my favorite is the grandma when I walk, and I scream it out and scare the hell help. For which I am truly not sorry :-) great sandwiches give it a try.”

“The water view on a sunny spring day was so wonderful. Great location, I was able to park on the side of the street, and we sat outside. I had the egg sandwich- overall was great, especially the presentation, the bread and salad were delicious the big chunk of egg could use more sauce. the view and atmosphere were well worth it.”

“Yesterday, my sister and I had the BEST table at the Iconic Spinnaker Seafood Restaurant in Sausalito - the at table at the far corner facing San Francisco! WOW - What a beautiful and clear day, with just a 'hint' of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean side. The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! Our servers were Alex and Francisco ("Francisco:))" who attended to our every need - even politely and notably giving extra time, as I was Determined to enjoy EVERY bite of my more than delicious, Crab Louie!! With a menu that is FULL of Classic Bay Area Seafood offerings, an Iconic setting and ambiance, and Incredible view of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and The City, I would change nothing about my visit! Thank You Spinnaker for a More Than Memorable Bay Area Experience!!”
