“We had an order of the pineapple/coconut and lychee swirl for myself and my boyfriend, as well as the hot coca for my mom. The waiting time was short and drinks of my part and my boyfriend's was delicious. My mom thought her chocolate was alright, but had some bitter undertones. The interior was cozy, with the board games, plushies, and couches. I read some Norse fairy tales from the books while waiting. The table and plushies were a little dirty but overall ok. I would come back for another time for the delicious boba or relax with one of their Danish books.”

“It was nice! We went during the live music session and the singer was great. I enjoyed my time. It is slightly more expensive then the other places we went to, but it was much nicer too. There were free snacks. It was a nice touch. The servers were overall great. They told us to get a free snack for each person and we did. The server did tell us to take only the ones we can finish so we got embarrassed. It felt a little awkward, but overall, the service was good and they were friendly.”

“The food was excellent but we got the wine paring and our server was off a wine each round which was disappointing so we didn’t get to tase the wine that should have been paired with the courses. There was live music that was just ok. I was looking forward to seeing the farm animals - unfortunately they were in small pens and didn’t have that great of quality of life. Most of the chickens were missing feathers and it was pretty close to being considered animal abuse the small pens that the animals were kept in.”

“Great experience. My wife and I are passing through looking for a place to stop and eat late night. Place was amazing for what we needed. The menu was small but everthing we had was delicious. I ordered chicken strips from the menu which were made in house. My wife got the salmon flat bread which was also delicious. Miles the bartender was very attentive, made modifications to their signiture cocktails. the chef in the back brought us our food. Overall everything was really great!”

“Warm, old-fashioned lodge atmosphere with a spacious dining area and plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the golf course.
Their weekly Blue Plate Dinner specials on Thursday and Friday nights are what keep me coming back, time and again; on these nights, you can find the rarest of unicorns -- the Holy Trinity of low cost, high quality, and full portions! Pictured is the Roasted King Salmon from last week. The fillet and potatoes were perfectly cooked, everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious.
A full bar and frequent live music performances complete the experience.
Highly recommend for getting great bang for your buck when in Solvang!”

“Really good sausages and abundance of cheese curds! My only suggestions would be to use a thicker beer cheese for your pretzels and to serve your cheese curds with a marinara or raspberry capote sauce. But your brats and sausages were great!”

“Absolutely delicous. I'd only ever had the crunchy ice before and wasn't a fan. This place changed my mind. The ice is so soft and instantly melts with no crunching. The flavors we tried were so tasty (the hawaiian and dreamcicle with coconut). To top it off you can add ice cream to the bottom which made this truly wonderful. Can't wait to try you all again. “I appreciate all employees who work with customers and who work in the kitchen. The service was fast and simple, and, what is the most important, the sandwiches we ordered were very delicious. Tje portion is good enough for one oe even two people. I ordered Panino sandwich with sourdough bread (you choose the type of bread) plus another one, I just don't remeber the name. I believe they have about 19 different sandwiches choices. No toasted bread, but very delicious becasue of the the ingredients that are smart and carefully selected and combined. The gourmet person will understand me. But the way, they have a small courtyard to seat and enjoy!”

“The food was tasty—especially the omelette, French toast, American breakfast and yogurt parfait. Our group of seven had a bit of trouble finding a clean table, as the restaurant seemed understaffed and lacked a clear host area. Portions were just right for some and slightly small for others. Overall a good meal, but improved organization would really enhance the experience.”

Taco Roco is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is absolutely amazing, the prices are great, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. When we came in, they took about 10 minutes to go over the whole menu with us, giving us different options and choices without ever making us feel rushed.

My family is big and we usually take a little longer to order, which sometimes upsets people at other places — but not here! Everyone was so patient and kind. Julian and Michelle were especially wonderful! They were incredibly friendly and helpful. Michelle even helped my sister take care of her baby girl so she could sit down and enjoy her meal. That meant so much to us!

The staff here is great, and a lot of them are local, which makes the whole place feel even more comfortable and welcoming. We always have a great experience here. Highly recommend Taco Roco if you want delicious food and amazing service”

The Burrata Salad was fresh and flavorful, the Calamari with zucchini was perfectly crispy and cooked just right, the Risotto was creamy, rich, and full of flavor, and the Milanese di Pollo was tender, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. “Cafe Dolce is a wonderful place to enjoy. The owner Sammy is my favorite. His Cafe offers an amazing variety of fresh Baklava. The juice bar and protein shakes are over the top! “We enjoyed our visit to Danish Mill Bakery. Not only are the pastries and desserts delicious, the customer service is impeccable. We were on a driving trip through CA and my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch at the bakery. We did not realize this until we were two hours south. I received a phone call from Emily at the bakery who was so kind and was willing to mail the watch to our home. We can't thank you enough!”
