“The venue itself is pretty nice. However. When there's special events, I think there should be more than one person serving. It took awhile for us to order or get our refills. I'm sure it's a much better service when it's not a special occasion. But, their biggest event is the Christmas parade time. They should have still been prepared. Their little patio area is very nice.”

“This is must visit place in such a beautiful city, we come here just because everything was overbooked and we cannot find a place, but it definitely worth that. Food and wine are very delicious and atmosphere is very cozy. You will need to spend some money here, but this was and amazing experience, and when I will be back to Solvang, I will visit this place one more time”

Came here with a few friends: bartender Rick is a gem. He makes some of the best drinks I've ever had - my friend found her favorite drink, old tootsie, and she usually doesn't like bourbon. Food options may look limited but each one provides quite the bang. For example, I hate gravy, but the gravy on the meatballs was absolutely fantastic... We ordered three rounds. Cajun shrimp was also phenomenal.”

Their weekly Blue Plate Dinner specials on Thursday and Friday nights are what keep me coming back, time and again; on these nights, you can find the rarest of unicorns -- the Holy Trinity of low cost, high quality, and full portions! Pictured is the Roasted King Salmon from last week. The fillet and potatoes were perfectly cooked, everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious.
A full bar and frequent live music performances complete the experience.

“Absolutely delicous. I'd only ever had the crunchy ice before and wasn't a fan. This place changed my mind. The ice is so soft and instantly melts with no crunching. The flavors we tried were so tasty (the hawaiian and dreamcicle with coconut). To top it off you can add ice cream to the bottom which made this truly wonderful. Can't wait to try you all again. “I appreciate all employees who work with customers and who work in the kitchen. The service was fast and simple, and, what is the most important, the sandwiches we ordered were very delicious. Tje portion is good enough for one oe even two people. I ordered Panino sandwich with sourdough bread (you choose the type of bread) plus another one, I just don't remeber the name. I believe they have about 19 different sandwiches choices. No toasted bread, but very delicious becasue of the the ingredients that are smart and carefully selected and combined. The gourmet person will understand me. But the way, they have a small courtyard to seat and enjoy!”

Taco Roco is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is absolutely amazing, the prices are great, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. When we came in, they took about 10 minutes to go over the whole menu with us, giving us different options and choices without ever making us feel rushed.

My family is big and we usually take a little longer to order, which sometimes upsets people at other places — but not here! Everyone was so patient and kind. Julian and Michelle were especially wonderful! They were incredibly friendly and helpful. Michelle even helped my sister take care of her baby girl so she could sit down and enjoy her meal. That meant so much to us!

The staff here is great, and a lot of them are local, which makes the whole place feel even more comfortable and welcoming. We always have a great experience here. Highly recommend Taco Roco if you want delicious food and amazing service”

The restaurant also has a really nice atmosphere, with an impressive wine collection that adds to the overall experience. The service was excellent as well. Definitely a great place for a nice meal.”

“We enjoyed our visit to Danish Mill Bakery. Not only are the pastries and desserts delicious, the customer service is impeccable. We were on a driving trip through CA and my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch at the bakery. We did not realize this until we were two hours south. I received a phone call from Emily at the bakery who was so kind and was willing to mail the watch to our home. We can't thank you enough!”
