“I got spicy ramen (the last one in the list) and it was pretty good. The portions are adequate, I didn’t feel like I was gonna explode, but I felt comfortably full. They have a lot of vegetarian options. The prices are on the higher side though, probably due to its location. Otherwise it’s pretty good.
Vegetarian options: Almost all of their ramen have a vegetarian equivalent, and all the broth is vegetarian.
Parking: There are a lot of parking on either side of the mall.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the first floor and there are no steps. Access would be easy for someone on a wheelchair.“

“Although Kokiyo is a small restaurant; the service, atmosphere, and food is amazing. I ordered a creamy broth ramen and it was the best creamy broth ramen I ever had. Both slices of the pork belly chashu were so tender it practically melts after taking a bite. Rather than taking the unfinished portion to-go, the meal was so spectacular that I had to finish it. Also the pickled radish is a must try.“

“This place is incredible!! The broth is so flavorful and the karaage is hands down the best I've ever had - it melts in your mouth like toro!!! I've eaten at many ramen spots in and out of Japan, and this is the real deal - authentic, delicious, fresh meals cooked with love and skill! Domo arigato gozaimasu!!
Parking: Going just past the restaurant there's a large open parking lot.“

“This is where you can find authentic mazemen in OC. It literally means mix mix noodles and I got the chance to try it at Mogu Mogu's newest location in Fullerton.
I went with the Deluxe and it came with loads of toppings like spicy minced pork, a poached egg, and more chashu pork. You mix, mix, mix as much as you can and enjoy!
Paired it with their Takoyaki which comes in either a crispy or soft shell, or crispy shell in soup! The crispy shell was such a hit for me and I can't wait to be back :)
Thanks for reading! ^-^“

“I came early around 5:15pm for a weekend dinner. There is more parking than i expected behind the building. The waiters were attentive in refilling my water and checked in to see if i was doing ok. Otherwise, the food (vegan mazemen) was filling and they provide some rice to top off with the sauce. I would definitely come here again.“

“This place is added to my go to ramen restaurants. I ordered spicy miso, and it was a bit salty for me but still very delicious! I forgot what my family ordered, but I think 1 of them ordered the Tonkotsu, though I still think spicy miso was the best option. The line and waiting are not that bad. The only problem is if you go as a group of 4+ people during busy hours like dinner time, it might be a bit difficult to find a parking and seating spot. The staff is really nice and friendly.
Overall, would recommend trying this place if you like ramen!“

“giving a 5 star to cancel out the last guys 1 star review. man was upset about his big party not being served 15 MINUTES before close… insanity. anyway i went for the first time today (at a REASONABLE time within their business hours mind you) and it was a lovely experience. service was quick and professional, the place itself was very clean, and our food was delicious, well-priced and very generously portioned. employees are super efficient and work together like a well-oiled machine. keep up the good work guys and don’t hesitate to boot people out the door if they try to loiter around closing! if they want to be served at closing so bad then they can pay the whole staff the hourly wage + overtime that it costs to keep a kitchen open after close (on top of their meal cost of course) ?“

“I have to admit, I should have checked Yelp before visiting this trendy new brothless ramen spot. I’m not one to chase after the latest restaurant fads, but I thought I’d give it a shot. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype. I anticipated a one-hour wait, but it ended up being an exasperating 1 hour and 40 minutes—definitely not ideal.
While the food was genuinely good, I can't help but wonder if it was worth that long wait. The outdoor seating was nonexistent, and it was frustrating to watch servers moving at a leisurely pace, seemingly with no sense of urgency. The service itself felt lackluster, which added to my disappointment.
On the plus side, the noodles were absolutely delicious and clearly the highlight of the meal. However, when weighing the wait time, service, and price against the food quality, the overall experience just didn’t come out on top for me.
If you decide to give it a try, be sure to add yourself to the Yelp waitlist beforehand. Hopefully, your experience will be better than mine! If you’re willing to wait it out, you might find gems on their menu, but be prepared for a less-than-stellar dining experience in the meantime.“

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“This place usually has a line, but if you go early enough of during off peak hours you'll be served quickly and efficiently.
The staff are always friendly and the quality of the food is very consistent.
My wife picked up the vegan yasai ramen which is a ginger mushroom broth base, while I ordered the standard spicy tonkotsu.
If you come during lunch their $1 special is an incredible deal, if you come after lunch then their other add on deals are still definitely worth it!
We shared an additional rainbow roll which was an assortment of their salmon, tuna and or yellow tail with a crab combination. A great deal and option if you wanted to try all their fish.
The ambiance is very nice and easy going, a small quaint space with lines and tables moving quickly even if you're outside waiting. Definitely a worth while spot if you're looking for sushi or ramen!“

“This place is incredible especially their vegan ramen. I am not vegan myself. However, I love the vegan sesame flavored ramen with charred broccolini. However, I find it be overpriced and not so much value for the money. Staff is great and enthusiastic and the creativity is profound.“

“An Evening at Kin Izakaya: Where Tradition Meets Ambiance In the culinary haven that our city embodies, Kin Izakaya emerges as a sanctuary of authentic Japanese flavors combined with the convivial spirit typical of Japan’s iconic gastropubs. It’s here that tradition and modernity collide to create not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring. The moment you step through the doors of Kin Izakaya, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that’s both lively and intimately comforting. The ambient lighting, coupled with rustic décor and understated oriental motifs, offers a welcoming reprieve from the city’s hustle and bustle. The soft murmur of patrons engaged in animated conversation sets the backdrop for an authentic izakaya experience. Kin Izakaya’s menu is a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese fare and innovative culinary creations. The tapas-style dishes, perfect for sharing, encourage a communal dining experience. From the delicate flavors of their sashimi to the robust, savory notes found in their yakitori selection, there’s a delightful complexity in each dish presented. The agedashi tofu, with its perfect crispy exterior giving way to silken tofu within, is a testament to the chef’s prowess in honoring traditional flavors while serving contemporary palates.“

“Delicious sushi with an extensive menu in the heart of Downtown Fullerton! The ambience was creative and casual. Right in the middle of all the shops and bars. The food was flavorful and the prices were fair, they had some good deals like buy a roll get one half off, buy one hot sake and get a second for .99cents. Its a lowkey local spot but feels like you’re somewhere in Japan. So much to choose from menu wise, cold food, hot food…Yumminess for days!“

“The base soup is not too greasy nor salty. Larger portions than expected. Pro/con that there are only 4 types of soups to choose from. But makes sense since most Ramen places have few variety. Their salt Ramen was good but the spicy miso tasted like Mala seasoning, which I'm not a fan of. The combo is just rice + whatever topping you choose so it's simple but it tasted great to dip the rice in the Ramen soup. Only wish is for them to have takuan as a default side menu to have a refreshing taste.“

“I’ve gotten this place a couple times through delivery, and I keep coming back for more! I’m usually not a huge ramen fan, but the tonkotsu broth was a perfect mix of flavor and richness without being overwhelming. Loved the noodle texture, the egg was not bad, appreciated the vegetables, and the chashu was fatty but yummy.
I’ve also gotten the cold dipping noodles before—can’t say I was as big of a fan but it could be personal preference! Wasn’t spicy like I was expecting given how red the dipping sauce was.“
