“Amazing anniversary dinner there and did not disappoint!! 5 stars and we will be back.”
“Was the best cheeseburger I’ve had in Detroit. Sat at bar, service was fantastic and fast. Amazing cocktails, prepared meticulously. I would highly suggest for any event. I cant’t wait to go back for dinner.”
“Wow. What an absolutely fantastic final dinner of 2023! After we managed to find a late dinner reservation for New Year's Eve, it was a relief to discover that our excitement about the tasting menu was well-placed. I would definitely recommend the drink pairings as well! The amuse-bouche featuring oysters from the West and East coasts was a delightful way to splash into the meal. The wasabi and the mangosteen featured in each of the oysters, respectively, complimented the beautiful brine of the oysters in such a wonderfully playful way. This first tasting urged us to pause the menu progression and order an extra dozen oysters to explore the other possibilities. Tasting from Vancouver to Prince Edward Island, they were beautifully prepared and of excellent quality. The first course of lobster salad felt like a summer in Maine. Not that I've ever been to Maine, but the imaginary scene flashed across my vision as I took that first refreshing bite. The grapefruit emulsion worked almost majestically with the light, refreshing flavor of the lobster salad. The tapioca chip was perfect for the crunch to fully bring the different elements of the dish together. A fascinating intersection of refreshment and comfort. The second course was the potato pavé. I'll be thinking of this potato often for the foreseeable future. It was one of those dishes that makes your eyes pop open a bit when you bite it as you realize how good it is. A beautifully layered and seared rectangle of flaky delicious potato resting with a lovely salsa brava speckled with trout roe, topped with tarragon, cured trout, and black truffle flakes. I don't even know what else to say. It was stunning. Sea urchin buttered ramen, the third course, will always be what I wish my at-home thrown-together ramen could be. It was rich, it was luscious, it was comforting. Growing up in southeast Texas, crawfish boils were always some of the most exciting times of the year. The crawfish tails in the ramen brought me back to those summer days eating crawfish with a cold beer. The duck breast for the fourth course was exceptionally cooked. It was juicy and flavorful and made a perfect bite with a bit of cauliflower, raisins, apricot, agrodolce, and foie-sauce. Each bite was such a symphony of flavor that kept me coming back. Last but absolutely not least was the gâteau ardéchois: the chestnut cream cake. Accompanied by cranberry coulis and crispy meringue bites, this dessert was a sweet but still mellow finish. While the coffee mascarpone ice cream was a robust and complementary flavor, we both agreed the vanilla coconut ice cream was the star between the two. Thank you again to the stellar crew at Mink! Happy New Year!”
“I originally shared a review with the poor experience my husband and I had during a celebratory brunch. Since then, Le Supreme’s team reached out (not sure if you can see their response) through my review but also my email. They invited us back to try again and I’m glad we did.
Instead of brunch, we came back for dinner service. Again, the food was phenomenal. We enjoyed the mushroom tart appetizer, followed by the Lapin La Moutarde (rabbit & pasta) and filet mignon au poivre.
The mushroom was delicious. It was cheesy and savory. The crust it sits on is perfectly flaky, yet soft. I cannot commend Le Supreme enough for how well the pasta was cooked. Typically, restaurants go for al dente but this can sometimes lead to undercooked noodles. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce had a wonderful hint of mustard. It was not over powering. The rabbit was not gamey at all and so very tender. The filet mignon was also perfectly cooked. If you do not like peppercorn, I’d recommend getting a different dish because it is a prominent flavor. But it melted in your mouth as perfectly cooked piece of meat shot.
Outside of the food, the service was spectacular and the staff was so kind. The food came out promptly and we were given the correct dishes. Thanks having us again and I look forward to future Le Supreme visits.”

“We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday at The Highlands, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Every course we had was fantastic, showcasing the exceptional culinary skills of the kitchen. The view from the restaurant is truly unbeatable, adding an extra layer of magic to our evening.”
“Great food and service within the beautiful city of Detroit.”
“Lena presents unique blend of authentic Spanish and nouvelle American cuisine. When I walked in, I saw the staff near the wood fired oven plating a dish that looked enticing. When I inquired what it was they shared it with me. That kind gesture had me hooked and set the stage! Alisha of the service staff was knowledgeable, personable., and attentive. It pays to be adventurous here. several dishes were surprisingly tasty, including the Tapenade. The Pulpo was the best I have experienced and showcased the wood-fired cooking.”

“This is the best Coney Island hands down. If you haven't been here yet, you are missing out on the most delicious counties in the world. If you're planning a road trip to Detroit, be sure and put the Lafayette Coney Island as one of the places to visit. I Only Wish They Were Open Later Than They Are Now.”

“Visiting from Nashville for the weekend looking for city hidden gems and we definitely found it at Willis Show Bar!!It was a great date night choice for grown and sexy. The live band was amazing, played well together and the drinks were delicious. I would definitely revisit if I’m in Detroit.”

“Wow, what an experience. This was truly fine and fun dining. Amazing food, incredible service and cool tunes!”
“Detroit was alive this past Saturday. Lions pre game win. Diamond was our server and she could have not been more pleasant! We sampled the Must Have garlic knots, Italian salad, pesto Pizza, traditional pepperoni and a spicy arbitrata pasta. The pasta dish was very spicy. We like that but if you're sensitive to heat that might not be your choice. The food was great and we had a great time.”

“Where do I start, let’s start with the best. The tostada with blue fin tuna can go down as one of the best dishes I have ever had. Top 100 list for sure. I love the decor, staff is awesome, chefs did a great job on everything. An excellent selection of mezcal and an unbelievably good espresso martini. I love the tortilla, fresh, with a unique blend of blue, yellow, and white corn. ( I wish they sold them to go)”
“Great foodie experience! Jake our waiter was amazing! Excellent food and service!!! Desserts delicious! Go now!”
“We had a fantastic dinner celebration on Sunday and we were amazed! The food was delicious. Lauren is a great server and was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back in October for my mom’s bday.”
“Had a few pre-dinner drinks here. Such a beautiful and intimate lounge. It looks like Mariah Carey’s house on MTV cribs back in the early 2000’s. I mean that in the best way possible. Our bartender Alec was kind and attentive and made us awesome drinks. One of which I really loved called the Scarlet Begonia. We will definitely be back to see Alec!”

“We had dinner here last night and the food was absolutely amazing! I could've eaten a whole bowl of the hummus. We are excited to go back and try some other menu options. It was also great that the chef/owner came out to talk to us and tell us about some of the recipes. What a treat! If you're looking for something different and great food, this is the place to go!”
“I just spent a week drinking through some of the best cocktail bars in Tel Aviv and was reminded how none of them come even close to the amazing cocktails that the Kevin, Kyle, and the rest of the Castalia team come up with! Each visit to Castalia, be it your first or one thousandth, is magical and wonderful!”
“Never disappointed with anything I’ve ever had there and every time I bring someone to try it they absolutely love it.”
“We came here for date night a couple days before they officially opened. The food and service were superb, and the vibe was amazing. We tried bits from every section of the menu. The drinks were incredible as well. Only complaint was that our table was right next to a table on the upper level so we could easily hear each other's conversations.”
“Best I’ve had in a long time. The sourdough crust is perfect, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. Just perfect.”

“Definitely recommend you give Starz a try! The food is pretty good and you get a lot for your money. The restaurant is clean and convenient. And the staff is great!! After the first couple times I went the girl taking my order Miranda knew it was me even though it had been awhile.Shes always very sweet and friendly! They have a large selection.Definitely worth checking it out!”
“We had a gift card from the Detroit Redwings that we had to use, and we are so glad that they threw in the gift card. I had the 10 oz steak and it was incredible but the dessert was my favorite. We ordered something called The Game and it was incredible. I highly recommended this place.”
“Not a bad little coney. I stopped in for breakfast to-go: eggs, hash browns, and sausage, and it was good. To be honest, it's not the best I've ever had, but for the price, it's amazing. Staff I encountered was friendly and polite. Will definitely be eating here on the regular.”
“Restaurant is nice & clean, the service was good & the food was amazing. I had the chicken quesadilla and it is beyond delicious ... Gotta try it, u won't be sorry”
“This is a really good they try to kick off the food as fast as possible the McDonald's that is next door doesn't have any employees 10 McDonald's has so many problems it took me 45 minutes to get to 8 McMuffins in the ”
“Hollywood casino/hotel offers the best downtown Detroit experience. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location near outdoor events, restaurants and a few shopping outlets. Hollywood casino/hotel rooms are modern, sanitized and comfortable and the staff is very professional.”
“Try the cardiac burger, served in a glazed donut. The price is a little steep, but for downtown Detroit not too bad. The selection in the market is good—BBQ chicken from the pit is good value and the sauce selection while limited, are all good.”
“Cars leaving the drive thru, we waited an hour. Food was cold. Extremely under staffed. It's becoming the norm for them, even when not busy, the wait is unbelievable..”
“Always go there for my grilled chicken salad.
But lately I believe Detroit police should offer them more assistance on weekends.
It was a couple in the parking lot scared to go in and order food myself and another guy went and placed their order for them. I couldn't accept payment from them I guess the other guy needed help. But will the intoxicated people makes bad business. I know everybody wants to eat good food.”
“One of my favorite late night/early morning spots to eat in Detroit. The menu is massive with a great selection of breakfast lunch and dinner options. Prices are food and food is prepared and served quickly. The staff is always helpful and polite.”
“Amazing customer service. The cashier was so sweet. I feel horrible that the workers don't have air conditioning inside. It is too hot to work in those conditions. Hopefully white castle will fix that issue soon”
“Just got an inexpensive breakfast this morning. It was great! Good portion, very well cooked and was ready in a reasonable amount of time. The price was great too. They are priced less than most places with a less quality product. Great Experience.”
“Lumen is beautiful! We sat on the rooftop with great people and a live DJ who was incredible!! The hostess was wonderful, very attentive and the even brought out free drinks to try and they were amazing. The vibe was incredible!! I highly suggest you visit this wonderful establishment, it will not disappoint!!”
“Atmosphere, beautiful restaurant. Drinks were outstanding, food was incredible. Celebrating my Birthday. Exactly what I wanted, all of the above. Plus, great friends. Always get the broccoli appetizer!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Great food and service within the beautiful city of Detroit.”
“Delicious food but you have to come early since they get busy so fast so you’ll be waiting. I don’t mind the waiting since I can have a drink and hangout in the meantime but the most recent time I went we were quoted an hour wait(no big deal) but then waited another hour once we ordered for our food to arrive. I’ll still be back though since I love the food!”
“Great place to meet up with a friend for coffee or study for your next final. Very cute and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere! I ordered their croque monsieur sandwich and it was devilishly cheesy, I was very happy!! They also advertise swing dancing on Tuesday nights which seem to be a fun activity to do mid week!”
“This was such an unexpected gem of a place. The food was great. The gluten free pizza with vegan cheese was delicious. I couldn't believe the crust was gluten free. And the servers were friendly and helpful.
Dietary restrictions: Amazing options!”
“Absolutely blown away by the food here. The selection of items is crazy..But once you pick an item or two or three. Id say three because you will eat one or two there and be sure to take one home because you will be disappointed in yourself later if you don't..Super polite and friendly staff..It's a shame I can only give 5 stars.10 out of 10.”
“Delish food and super friendly staff! Would recommend!”
“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!”
“Love it really nice vibe for a date or girls night out”
“Very "hip" brunch spot in a nice part of town. We enjoyed all the snacks and items we ordered. If you are in the area and hungry, it's a good place to be.”

“Get the nitro blonde. It tasted like an orange push pop. So delicious. Also, we ate here two nights in a row. I was blown away by the spicy buffalo cauliflower “wings”. The night before, we tried the Mexican food, and the burrito was out of this world.”
“Best restaurant in Detroit Metro airport sit at the bar for first class service!”
“I enjoyed a big lunch here with a number of my coworkers. They were able to accommodate our large group without issue and we were served quite quickly. Service was excellent all things considered. I had the corn quesadillas, and it all tasted great. The tortillas had great fresh corn flavor. The menu was expansive and there’s a bit of something for everyone on it. Mi Pueblo made a great lunch.”
“Really enjoyed our brunch. Everything on the menu was great.”
“Never disappointed with anything I’ve ever had there and every time I bring someone to try it they absolutely love it.”

Very nice people , very talkative and helpful. Well worth the less than 10 min wait. I will be back soon for sure. I am a fried chicken lover and they are easily top 3 I’ve had. Thank you”

Fine Dining
“I wish I could rate Marrow 10/5! We ate on the patio last night and had exceptional service with Margie who was just phenomenal and helped us order a delicious feast. Between six of us we tried almost every starter and salad and multiple mains. The flavors and attention to detail were just incredible. There wasn’t a single sleeper dish on the menu. We will definitely be back!!”
“First time back in Detroit (home) in many years. This used to be the top shelf restaurant back in the 70s when my parents went out and dined. It hasn't lost its vibe and reputation as one of the finest in the “D”! Food was fresh and excellent, Pete our waiter was phenomenal and the ambiance was top notch. Highly recommend this as a must eat if in downtown Detroit. After dinner they have a nice cigar bar to enjoy a smoke and some after dinner drinks.”
“Overall experience was good. We were sat prior to a piano player playing, would have liked to have been asked if we minded sitting right in front of piano, had we known they would be playing. Wait staff was nice- however came over too often and was sharing too many personal stories without prompting and called us little chickadees which was just odd.”
“Great location in the heart of the city! The detail of this restaurant is amazing. We experienced the best service from Juan. He took his time in going through the menu with us. He was attentive and made sure our visit was pleasant. Management thanked us for dining. What a nice touch. Our favorite dish was the pepper steak, corn and spicy edamame.”
“There is the best Bakery in the city hands down! If you want a delicious and moist cake this is where you come. I absolutely love them, when you walk in they make you feel like family. People always ask me where I get my cakes from! “TREAT” yourself to Go-Gos❤️”
“STELLAR SERVICE I haven’t had the opportunity to dine at Table No.2. However, I would like to speak to the level of professionalism, integrity, impressive disposition, and good taste the owner, Omar , exudes. I attended an event held at one of his other restaurants last night in Royal Oak where I had the opportunity to observe his attention to detail and his interactions with guests. To say he is accommodating and pleasant is a vast understatement. He is the epitome of what doing “Good Business”entails--something to be truly appreciated and admired! Thank you, Omar, for facilitating an awesome experience! 5 STARS!”
“I can’t say enough about our dining experience! This restaurant is on my TOP list here in Nashville and I will now frequent. Everything from start to finish was superb! Our waiter Sid was nothing g more than AMAZING and the manager was very nice and came by to say hello! The FOOOOOD was SO good it’s definitely worth it!!”
“Easily hands down one of the best steaks I have ever had! From the moment we walked in until we left everything was outstanding- the service, the food, the atmosphere. Would HIGHLY recommend!”

“So we walked in to this place after a Lion's preseason game and I thought it was just going to be another super busy bar where we had to wait an hour to get service and the food would be disappointing. Man.....I was so wrong!! We found a table even though the place was packed, the server came over right away and was extremely nice. The food was exceptional and worth the money. Very loud inside but gives you that excitement atmosphere and everyone is having a great time. Very clean inside and upscale food. Get the steak medallions..... you're welcome!! Lots of draft beer and good mixed drink options. We will definitely be going back.”
“Beautiful setting, very clean and pretty store with quality products and a great coffee and soup bar.”
“Cafe Prince is a really cool spot tucked away next to a beautiful little courtyard. The interior serves up modern design vibes with concrete walls, glass blocks and colourful murals/art/tables.
The Maple Shakerato was so smooth and delicious and I really enjoyed my ricotta toast with chunks of mango and a dusting of sumac.”
“Great food, atmosphere, and customer service! Pie Sci is one of our favorite restaurants to eat whenever we're in Detroit!”

“This is my first time here, and they did not disappoint me either. I was interested in the Birria Tocos and had wanted to try them for a long time. They were delicious and filling, and I also had the Asada fries. They were icing on the cake for me. I'll be back sooner than later ❤️❤️”
“The food is divine and the portions are massive. I watched how freshly the meal was made. The family that runs this restaurant is so kind and uplifting. Truly the best gyros I’ve ever had. I love seeing local folks succeed!”
“Great place to hang out in Detroit. Friendly staff, good food, live music and fun venue with good people.”
“Best ice cream and non dairy ice cream I have ever had”
“Best fish and chips around. A real treasure. Every one so polite and pleasant. Thank you”
“What can I day about Cork & Gable? We love the place. The staff is always friendly and make you feel like VIPs. The drinks are some of, if not thee, best drinks in town! They consistently have rotating bourbons that are difficult to find and reasonable prices as well. The food is great, too! Fish and Chips are a staple here, but the specials are always amazing. If Arctic Char is on the menu...get it! We have been going here for years and will continue to come back for the many reasons above. A must try, in my book.”
“If you have not been to BESA - you are missing out on a culinary experience!! Second time dining there - we may have tried 3/4 of the menu the other night. Amazing appetizers, main, cocktails. The staff was incredible - especially our waitress with the purple highlights ;) … thanks to the Chef for some personal attention. We loved every minute and every bite. A definite must if in Detroit!”
( I wish they sold them to go)”
“Everything and everyone was amazing, can’t wait to go back again”
“Awesome brewery and even better staff! I was in town for a baseball game and stopped in for a beer. They didn’t have any t-shirts in stock and don’t sell online. Tara took my order and promised to ship when it came in. It did come in and they even called to make sure of my order before shipping. Got my t-shirt and a few stickers to boot. I will be back in the future and recommend to anyone stopping in downtown Detroit for great beer and food. And say hi to Tara while there. Thanks again Motor City Brewing!”

“So impressed by this gem of a restaurant. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable on the wine as well as cocktails. The wine choices represented the regions well. Our food- raclette (a must try), risotto and Waygu were bursting with flavor. This place is special. See for yourself.”

We will definitely be back!!”
“We came here for date night a couple days before they officially opened. The food and service were superb, and the vibe was amazing. We tried bits from every section of the menu. The drinks were incredible as well. Only complaint was that our table was right next to a table on the upper level so we could easily hear each other's conversations.”
“Delicious homemade food… wonderful staff open air tables. Great service!”
“After visiting few places in Detroit, we decided to stop at this restaurant. What I can say…. The food is amazing. The guac was probably the best I had in my life… the steak was melting in my mouth….great great place, definitely would recommend to try it out!”
“Excellent service, delicious food and it all happened under the red lighting. Be prepared to park on the street as the parking lot only has 6 or 7 parking spot.”
“Enjoyed a dinner at Ladder 4 Wine Bar with a group of 5. The interior is modern, bright, and airy. It was a great setting for a cozy dinner with friends. We enjoyed the meal family style and were impressed by the portions. Very generous and shareable we were all able to have a good bit of each dish.
We had one vegetarian and one shellfish allergy in the group. Our server was helpful in guiding us on menu selections and making adjustments to suit the needs of our group.
I recommend the splurging on the steak and frites! Decedent and perfectly cooked. All of the salads were phenomenal and the bread and butter - simple as it may be was perfection. I would have happily enjoyed half a loaf to myself.
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options from starters to mains. The main on our menu was a chard red cabbage, it was rich and smoky and totally satisfying for veg and non veg guests.
Dietary restrictions: My friend with a fish & shellfish allergy was provided a menu hilighting what would be suitable for her. Since she is not highly reactive when our table ordered a dish smoked trout another simple dip sans fish was provided on the side so all could enjoy.”
“Stopped in after yoga at Detroit Abloom. Host, decor, servers all very welcoming. We had a vegan Rueben and spicy margarita outside next to the canal. Can’t wait to return!”
“Overall experience was good. We were sat prior to a piano player playing, would have liked to have been asked if we minded sitting right in front of piano, had we known they would be playing. Wait staff was nice- however came over too often and was sharing too many personal stories without prompting and called us little chickadees which was just odd.”
“Great service!! We shared small plates and entrees!”
“Great NY style pizza right here in Detroit. If you sit on the patio, you end up with Eastern Market on one side of you, and the entire Detroit skyline on the other side. Make a stop.”
“#41 in the Metro Detroit Brewery Discovery Tour.
Tired of adulting and having eaten lunch, I decided to hop on the ? and grab a brew. It's a nice day and I won't be able to in a few months.
Without Google Maps I would never have found this place. Talk about a nondescript building.
This place just begs you to relax. Chill, take a load off. Soft jazz playing just loud enough to be heard, wide open space, light colored furnishings, plenty of light, games to be played.
The beer is quite good. Plenty of styles to choose from: lighter choices like a pilsner, kölsch, or witbier. A dark lager. A couple IPAs, a couple saisons, ciders, then topping out with a Belgian dubbel, a tripel and a big, bad barleywine (11%). Wine is available also.
And 1/2 pours are literally half price. Not 60-70% that plenty of places charge. I'm rather enamored of that.
Parking is free and right out front. Don't be surprised if you need Google to find it.”
“Stopped by for beer and pizza. Great selection of brews. The Detroit style pizza was great. Lots of space spread out. Highly recommend.”
“The appetizers were fantastic, and we had sausage and peppers along with the calamari. My beer was very cold, and our Italian wine was fantastic. The two entrées which were scallops and the linguine with seafood we both done perfectly, which we thoroughly enjoyed. And lastly, our service was a 10 out of 10. I'm sorry I forgot her name, but she was fantastic!”
“My absolute go-to cocktail bar, located in Corktown! The charming, quaint atmosphere and dimmed lighting set the mood for a romantic, fun spot. They really stand out with their unique flavors and house-made juices and their menu has over 100 different cocktails so you’ll never be bored if you like to be adventurous and try something new! The staff is so amazingly friendly and helpful with finding you the drink you fancy. They even crafted a specialty drink for my friend that wasn’t on the menu!”
“This place was amazing! The cocktails and ambiance was so cool!”
“We came to Detriot to see the NCAA D1 National wrestling tournament. We stopped in and had a great time. The beer, food, and environment were wonderful and we give them 5 stars. Look forward to coming back. Mechanicsburg PA folks”
“A bit on the pricey side (considering it's airport prices), Cantoro offsets this by bringing a multitude of different options to eat. From contemporary dishes to Italian staples, snacks to coffee, they have quite the selection. The stuffed shells come highly recommended. Fast service, freshly made. Definitely an upgrade from the restaurant and bar that this Italian market now replaces at the North Terminal, located in baggage claim.”
“Highly recommend!! Visited one of the food trucks the other night here in Canton. Nick was super nice and provided great customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Great spot with good variety of beers! I hate places that only has 10 IPAs and a lager. This brewery had IPAs, wheats, pilsners, sours, and ciders. Food was amazing by too! Will def be back!”
“Bday dinner party, I had the fried chicken, greens, amd mac/cheese.”
“Equally blown away by the food & the service! Had dinner here with friends for the first time, and will definitely be back. A really unique spot filled with flavor!”
“Best place in Detroit and metropolitan area. A true dining experience. Not to be be missed.”
“Had a wonderful experience at this cozy downtown bar! Best customer service and delicious food! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant for drinks and food!!”
“I celebrated my birthday today with my three children and my adopted daughter. It was absolutely wonderful. The food was spot on. The service was great couldn’t have asked for a better meal.”
“It was our first time in this place and Ibrahim made our experience so great!! He guided us on the menu and had amazing mixology skills. Will be coming back!”
“Went here for happy hour drinks. Our Four Roses Old Fashioneds were perfect. Staff had incredible vibes. Kind of just want to hang out here all the time? But had too much to do to stay for food.”
“Great experience, I would highly recommend! When we arrived we were greeted by the pleasant and very accommodating hostess, Morgan. We were served by Mary who was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you to them both for making our visit so enjoyable, for that we will return!”
“Myself and my friend dined in at The Kitchen… not ONE complaint. Que is a doll and just delightful and the food was amazing! The staff was EXCELLENT! Ambiance great! Gravy slapped!!!!!”
“Fabulous food, drinks, experience, and ambience every time. The music is always phenomenal, and I’m always excited to go back. Couldn’t recommend it more.”
“First time there. Really enjoyed the food and wine. Service is a little disorganized but friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. Very loud, difficult to hear your companion.”
“Love the food! Servers Matt and Maddy in Columbus were amazing! I hate the bar stools with no backs and the covid dividers.”
“Always look forward to seeing Vernon behind the bar. Always enjoy the conversations with him as he slings great drinks.
Parking: Company-provided parking.”
“The food and service was excellent!!! The stuffed salmon is a must!! The bartender customer service was impeccable.”
“Our server Emily was very attentive, warm and welcoming. She made us feel very comfortable. We highly recommend the rueben sandwich and THE STUFFED SQUASH! Hats off to the chef and Emily. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back.”
“The food was amazing. Out waiter Jimmy was attentive, responsive and just an all around cool guy. We will definitely be back.”
“Decided to order sizzler burger from this restaurant and i must say the delivery was first it took around 30minutes and their customer service was good as well and very respectful”
“We love Detroit Soul on 8 mile. Every time we are in Detroit we have to stop and get some food. The ladies are so awesome and the good is amazing. We have to try the one on Jefferson.”
“I work next door over at pie sci and come here after work sometimes for drinks and/or food. All the staff members are amazing, but the most shoutouts go to Colby! My fav go to is the birria fries, and their orange tea shots are amazing too(never had one until i came here!) They have a lot of cool things going on throughout the weeks/months like poetry night and open karaoke. If you’re in the area, give them a try! You won’t regret it. Love me some Woodbridge pub!”
“As we approached the door to Willow Cocktail bar, the doorman opened the door for us and bade us welcome. Catherine, the hostess, greeted us warmly and explained there was a small wait to allow the staff time to catch up. After about a 10 minute wait, she thanked us for our patience and seated us in a comfortable corner table. She then promptly brought us glasses of water. Chris, our server, checked in with us promptly. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were truly innovative and delicious. Willow is using some ingredients that are quite interesting but not too over the top.
Overall, Willow provided a swanky yet relaxing atmosphere, professional and amiable staff and yummy drinks.”
“I had the best service from Casaandra ,she is professional ,outgoing service is 1000%”
“Food is very good. Always very busy so getting a table can be tricky. Very uncomfortable bar seating on the otherside of the restaurant, main bar seating is fine.”
“We celebrated our daughter’s birthday with a fabulous dinner and dessert. Our server Ashley was great! Her recommendations were excellent. We started with sheep’s milk ricotta and hot honey and tuna crudo. Our entrees were tortellini di zucchini, squid ink fettuccine and swordfish vesuvio. The Sicilian pistachio cake with olive oil gelato was a perfect ending to an amazing meal. Our daughter travels for business and has eaten at top restaurants around the country. She said she would put this in her top five!”
“stopped by for a quick lunch. Sandwich was great service. amazing”
“I really enjoyed myself in the space. It is open, comfortable, and a whole vibe. The service was excellent and the selection was top notch.”
“If Katrell (Pineapple Daddy) wasn't here...I wouldn't make it a mandatory location. He makes sure my party is happy and that everything is everything. The food is excellent and the service is as well!”
“The meat was very good. Not much to the tacos: Meat and tortillas essentially. Everything is definitely overpriced for what you get. We asked for onion on side and corn tortilla, and both requests were ignored completely. 5 stars just because I want a free churro:)”
“It's an okay spot at best, but only because the staff is great.. except the security dudes. All of the security fellas look and speak as if they are mad about something. Maybe it's their job to look hard??? IDK If you're okay with cigar and weed smoke, you'll probably enjoy Soul on Ice. During warm weather days the patio is only for smokers because you cannot escape the smoke no matter what. Do not expect to lounge outside if you're not a smoker of "something". The stinch of smoke gets indoors too because people are smoking at both doors, or they are standing with one foot in and the other out. There's a few ghetto people that go there, but, that's pretty much expected in Detroit, so there's no running from that type. At least Soil on Ice don't water down their drinks, or replace top shelf with cheap stuff like TV is very well known to do. 4.5 stars out of 5 for the DJs, food, and drinks, but the mean-faced security staff and cigars and weed all over the place brings the rating down to 1.0001. Yes, 1.0001 stars! We're rooting for Soul on Ice to continue on for many years, but my wife and I will likely not return unless we have absolutely nothing else to do, or they rearrange the whole smoking setup. Non-smokers want to party indoors and out too! I'm done with this review. I'm off to put my clothes through five cycles of hot water washing using Tide Super Duty Scent Destroyer Extra.”
“My wife and I recently hosted wine and fine food party for several friends. This was our first visit to the Statler and it was excellent: Our sommelier, Andree', was fabulous; so knowledgeable and entertaining. The food pairings were perfect and the wines delicious. The Statler is located in a convenient spot in downtown; its easy to find with plenty of parking options. We can't wait to get back.”
“Very cool bar with great staff and friendly service. A couple of light meal and snacks available along with good drinks made it the perfect stop before a ballgame or event.”
“Usually a hotel restaurant isn’t a good prospect for food, but the food here tells me that someone in the back cares about their produce and quality. Caprese salad was awesome, Chris was great, I’ll be back. Damn, Detroit is such a friendly city.”
“I usually don't write reviews, I just read them. But after my experience at this awesome restaurant, I had to write something. Let's start with my one and only complaint, which is completely understandable, the Time.!!! Because of the pandemic, mostly all restaurants are understaffed. It took an hour to get our food!!! With that being said, ....once our food was served, the disappointment of the wait quickly disappeared. The Food WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! Out server was Manny, but because he was sooo busy, Norman stepped in to help. The 2 of them really made my daughter's birthday special! We will definitely be back!!!!!”
“The food was amazing. We had the ribs, catfish, chicken wings, yams, greens and macaroni. We couldn't take photos because we ate it soo fast. Don't be deterred by having to pull the string to get into the restaurant. The food is worth it.”
“They have huge portions and the flavors are on point.”
“Our server Jazzman was great and very professional … on top of being “Stunning” Food was absolutely delicious ‼️”
“my boyfriend and i went here for our day in downtown detroit, and while the entrance was a bit secluded — we weren’t sure if we were allowed in at first — the food was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS and the service was wonderful. it wasn’t busy during the day so we got our drinks and food relatively quickly ! there were people playing pool so it was also free entertainment, dude was pretty cool. overall really great, would come back again !!”

Like a cheers atmosphere you wanna go where everyone knows your name. Ms Krystal is sweet and loving and people be dressed to impress there. TV's seating 💺 ♥️ people call it a "hole in the wall" but those same people be in attendance "lol They come from all over the city to this place you must get there early on Sunday nights cause DJ Tony Rome be on hot blazing 🔥 fire. Dance, entertainment etc. Everytime my out of town guest / sweetheart comes to visit Detroit she has to come there before she leaves its a must.”

“My husband and I dined at Savoy on February 14, 2024. Jasmine was our waitress. She was very hospitable, knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. Our food was very good, I had the Shrimp, Catfish and Lobster Tail dinner, my husband had the Sea Bass dinner. Along with the Clam Chowder Soup. There was also live music which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be going back.”
“Estella's Vegan Cusine has the best deserts for any event. We recently was in Detroit for our daughter and so -in-law's baby shower with several vegan attendees. Chantelle made many outstanding deserts: Rasberry-Lemon Bars, small Strawberry Crunch Bundt cakes, Brownies, Cake Pops, and cookies. All of our guests loved the deserts! Please use Estella's for any Vegan Cusine or Desert!”

“The fish tacos tasted like absolutely NOTHING!! It didn't have a drop of salt on in anywhere. The chicken tenders were cooked so hard you could barely bite it. The staff were great as well as the entertainment they provided for the birthdays but other than that we won't be back!!”
“I order the Cod fish sandwich and it was very much distasteful. We also ordered the loaded waffle fries and it was cold with no seasoning. The Smash Burger was the only good thing . The Peach Mule Mock Tail was also delicious.”

“Everything about our visit was awful. from first being seated, to terrible service, to them not coming over to our table with different meats, to the meats that we did get being dry and over cooked, to other guests being rude to us. if you go never go to the Detroit location. 100% not worth your time or money.”

“This place is a hidden gem. Upon arrival, I wasn’t sure if this was an actual restaurant, but after noticing the outdoor patio, I was sold! The outdoor patio is beautiful and would make for the perfect date night. ? Our server was Carlos and his service was great! He checked in on us consistently, and our drinks and dishes were brought out in a timely manner. The food was amazing and fresh, as well as the dessert. When you visit this spot you MUST try the Deep Fried Shrimp, and the Lamb Chop tower!”

“A group of about 10 of us stopped in on a Monday for happy hour - there was a nice crowd, music was playing, sparsely decorated. They have a great patio right on Woodward which is why we came, but it ended up raining. Although only one bartender was working, cocktails came out fast and tasted fresh and good. They have an interesting n/a mocktail made with homemade cordial and soda - I didn't try it this time, but it's good to know they have an option other than soda and lime. The aperol spritz looked good as did the spicy margarita. A good place to catch a quick drink.
They have an interesting food menu - sushi during the day and late night, and bbq for dinner. Maybe a little odd, but I remember when this place was Oslo and had the best sushi, so maybe it makes sense? I'll have to come back to try the food. Everyone working has also been really friendly, so I'd come back. An excellent location if you work downtown.”
“Gotta try the burgers it’s hard to find a real good burger with real meat and the prices are very reasonable. Fast friendly and black own. Would definitely recommend pop’s place.”
“I love all the new spots that are popping up in Detroit! We were in Corktown and stumbled upon Boesky’s. We had the Reuben sandwich and saw some other items on the menu that we’ll have to try next time. They were all very kind with my daughter (first sandwich!) and the staff were top notch. As for the food, it was perfectly cooked meat for a reasonable price. If you are in the area it’s well worth checking out.”
“Have been going there since opening. Rough start like any new place. Went for lunch today and everthing was his. Nachos, sliders and salad. Great service. Thank you Alyisa. Will continue to visit”
“I did wait about 45 mins for my Togo order. However, everything was correct. My food was hot. I did not feel like I was being cheated on the portion sizes. The young lady and young man was KILLING it with those Togo orders. They kept us laughing so they wait was not bad. Downtown needs better parking but this is by far my favorite Chipotle. I will definitely be back again.”
“Selden Standard sets the bar by which we measure all other restaurants. We've been coming here for 10 years and have never had a bad experience. The food, drinks, service and ambiance are consistently excellent!”
