“Made reservations for my birthday. We had the bruschetta caprese as a starter. It was very fresh, tomatoes had tons of flavor. We ate every last shred of basil off the plate. My husband ordered the lobster which had amazing flavor and didn’t have the standard “seafood” taste I dread. I had the rissono which wasn’t at all greasy, or spicy. Decent portions and quality food. Servers are very well informed. I had two limontini’s which were delicious. Bar can get a bit behind in a rush. We finished with dessert, cheesecake with berries which was fine but not my favorite cheesecake. We will be back and sure to recommend!”

“I went and picked up a pizza from these folks for the first time last night. OMG! One of the best commercially produced pizzas I have ever had the pleasure to eat ! Full disclosure I usually make my own and they rock too. I had the The Wedgetable Garden with Jerk Chicken added. Honestly I felt I should have left it without the JC, because the pizza was already LOADED. Every darned thing about that pie was perfect. One of the few IC pizzas that is not too greasy (look'n at you Pags). I highly - HIGHLY recommend their pizza !”

“My wife and I went to the Black Angel for a late lunch about 4 pm today. We split a beef brisket sandwich with each us having a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. The soup was lukewarm and had to be reheated which was promptly and courteously done, as was all service rendered. This was our only complaint. Everything was excellent. Best Chicken Tortilla soup (not too spicy) ever had, The sandwich was great too. Yum!”

Molly's catered a small cake and a large number of cupcakes for my mid-sized wedding. Sour stuff first: Complaints (none large enough to warrant less than a five-star review): 1) They didn’t keep a record of our deposit. This seemed unprofessional and disorganized. Luckily, I was able to provide proof of the transaction, and then they “found” it (and didn’t make us pay again). 2) The cake appeared hastily decorated and put together. It did not have the details of the design we had discussed, and the food coloring in the frosting was streaky and not completely mixed. It was still delicious, but disappointing because the main purpose of the cake was for the cutting photos! 3) We had a miscommunication about when we needed the cake delivered. Molly’s was able to get it to us in time, but it sure gave us a scare. Ultimately, delicious cake and cupcakes. Our wedding guests were happy, and, to our knowledge, no one with allergies or sensitivities had any negative impacts. Their ability to accommodate dietary restrictions was one of the reasons we chose Molly’s. Their gluten-free cupcakes are genuinely some of the best. Due to a planning/ordering error on our part, we overlooked our need for a singular egg-free cupcake. Molly’s kindly hand-delivered said solitary cupcake when we frantically called to ask for a remedy. This sort of kindness is some of the best customer service around and more than makes up for the hiccups we had with the process.”

“SO happy to see that Saigon’s Corner is now on Chomp! (Maybe this isn’t new, but I don’t remember seeing them there before). We got a ton of food for a very reasonable price, it was very well packaged (pho broth separate from noodles, veg, protein, etc), arrived in a very reasonable time (even on a Saturday night) and it was all fresh and really delicious. We easily have enough for lunch for both of us tomorrow as well. We will definitely be ordering again, and can’t wait!!”

I ordered the avocado cucumber sushi combo-the sushi was arranged very prettily even in the takeout container, and it also came with very tasty miso soup. Also ordered the gyoza- savory flavor with just a hint of sweetness. The green tea with roasted rice was delicious - brewed at the right temperature, so it wasn't bitter at all. Next time, we'll dine in!”

Can’t say enough good things about how the staff interacted with my overly friendly toddler who was very insistent he get a “firefighter tea”. He gave very positive reviews of his steamed milk! I love drinking Lotus energy drinks and they have 3 or 4 with clever 'power plant' names like Infrared and Ultraviolet. Huge RK treats, rich fudgy brownies, tiramisu, scones, muffins, cookies, soups, salads, sandwiches. Mismatched furniture with couches, side tables, different types of chairs and several seating areas. A casual, laid back atmosphere.”

And wow. Service was great, the employees are kind, their latte was spectacular I felt like I was ascending into the sky. So, nothing wrong with the food just know you’ll have to, unfortunately, wait a long time to get it and plan accordingly.”

I spent a lot of time there while it was Capanna and loved it but I have to say, the changes they have made since it has become Midnight Coffee is my absolute favorite. From the great coffee, to the partnering with local pastry shops, to the new interior design, and the new Merch…..the VIBE is immaculate as people younger than me would say. Highly recommended making Midnight Coffee your new coffee spot in North Liberty and the Corridor region. They have other locations in Iowa city and tiffin as well I believe.”

“Food is great for a big box store type of restaurant. The meatballs were homemade loved them. The ravioli was not homemade and the taste wasn’t the best. The sauce was great the bread was soft hot and cheesy. Will be coming back”
