“I loved the food!! It was indubitably the best meal I have had in a little while. I had my server as Ally!!! Ally was a slay queen!!! She had over five tables, yet she still maintained a positive attitude and a smile on her face every time we saw her. When servers are stressed, they typically don't smile, but she smiled throughout her night, making ours a good one. Specifically for my brother, it was his birthday, and he flew home soon. So it was a relief to know his last Louisiana meal was yummy with a good server. Also, I do not know the name of the other girl, but she had covered the drinks order down, and she was also super sweet. I love the atmosphere where people help out others; it provides a very joyful aura to be around! To conclude, Ally and the other girl were extremely sweet and kind. The staff exuded warmth and kindness, even amidst their stressful moments, making the experience all the more memorable. And the food? Phenomenal—truly a culinary delight you won’t want to miss! “Love love!! Came here with husband and 2 year old toddler for dinner hibachi, staff were so friendly and my son enjoyed it! My son got some rice and ate a lot of it. He finished and was ready to get up. My husband took him over to the front and he played with the projector light on the floor, while a waiter would mess with him by poking around the corner, then I finished and we packed up and were getting ready to leave, Then the waitress brought him a light up hat to play with!! Very happy with how the staff treated my son! We loved the food and it was amazing hibachi! Will be back!”

“July 8th. 630 pm. Atmosphere very good. Ordered a medium rare ribeye. Cooked to perfection. Asparagus was seasoned better than any Asparagus ever.! My husband ordered the pork chops which were awesomely seasoned and tender for center cut. His fried okra was differently shaped than normal but was seasoned deliciously! We were pleasant surprised because the recent reviews were skeptical. We will be back all the way from east new orleans. KEEP THE COOKS!”

“We enjoyed the best shrimp poboys and onion rings! The bread they use for the poboys is wonderful! The shrimp were a perfect size, perfectly battered up and perfectly fried. The size of the sandwich was just right as well, and overstuffed the way we like it. The lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and added the perfect touch. As for the thick cut homemade onion rings, those were honestly the best onion rings we have ever had from anywhere. I could make a meal out of their onion rings and I might just do that one day! I must add that we feel the prices are very affordable. Other places in town are charging more for food that isn’t nearly as good.”

“This was my first time to go to Sedra, I went yesterday for a special meeting with a girls' group. We all had great service; the owner and her daughter Mia are onsite and there to serve you. The wait staff was personable and accommodating. I am on Weight Watchers and try to stay within point limits when I go out. The Acadian Catfish comes fried and had a sauce with rice and veggies on the side, they grilled the fish for me, and instead of rice I had a double helping of steamed broccoli. The fish was cooked perfectly and also had the right amount of seasoning. I would definitely go back. They are open for breakfast and lunch til 3:00 pm. My husband and I will go back and try breakfast.”

Exposed kitchen to see the inner workings was cool. Fast service and got our food very quickly. We got the Margherita, Nucci and cheese sticks. All fantastic and love the thin, crunchy crust. Would def recommend if you want a pizza on the lighter bread side of things.”

I like the new look in the restaurant but like the previous menu better. I get great service in the Slidell, LA location. The store is beautiful and I can always find a nice gift there. I like the rewards program, also. I recommend the meat loaf and the southern style chicken to friends. I also think the greens are excellent. The cole slaw is also excellent. I think a soup/salad or soup/quiche or salad/quiche would be a good addition to your menu. I especially think seniors would enjoy this. A loaded baked potato would be another great menu item. I think changing the branding/logo was ridiculous!”

These are the most delicious Pralines! Customer service was amazing! Everyone was very welcoming and kind! The Pralines come in a bag but I was given containers so the Pralines wouldn’t get crushed in my luggage, such a sweet gesture! You must try this local spot! I will be stopping by during all of my future visits to Slidell! Picture only shows some of my purchase because these Pralines are irresistible ! 🙂”

The food was so delicious and plentiful. Lemon chicken could have served 4 people. Pork fried rice the best I've had. All served in the stainless steel covered servers that keep the food so much hotter than platters. The poor little waitress was working alone as her co-worker was I'll. She kept up with non-stop phone calls, waiting on tables and checking back with us several times. Restaurant also appeared very clean.”

The food is consistently delicious. On this visit, we had a poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and the gnarly steak tacos. Also recommend the ceviche appetizer. Great for those wanting to avoid carbs and it’s enough for an entire meal.”

Their churros filled with creamy custard are absolutely delicious and every dish is full of flavor. We mentioned it to the manager and she stated oh no we don’t have that anymore. We haven’t had Waffle Cone Wednesday in quite awhile. Oh, ok!! I bought my $7 cone, ate it and enjoyed it. My friend and I sat outside for a while. The manger left and a mom and her 4 daughters went in and all walked out with their over stuffed cones! “Right in the heart of old town Slidell. Just stopped in for lunch. We had the fried zucchini sticks which were excellent. The batter was light, cooked to perfection and you could really taste the veg. We had the supreme pizza and it was good. Huge pizza. Flat fresh bread. Not enough toppings for me but still really good. They have flavored teas that are delicious. Overall liked the place. Would go again”
