Some of the chips tasted old. Like rancid oil.
The bean dip wasn’t that good and neither was their salsa. But I did eat it.
I think the wait staff did a great job and the atmosphere was very nice.
We’ll go back. It wasn’t that bad. That’s why I gave them all but 1 star.
Hopefully they’ll do better in the future.”

“Immediately as we pulled up, were welcomed in, and seated. Staff is friendly, and the older guy who welcomed us in had an infectiously nice energy. I ordered iced green tea, and a Jazz roll. The green tea was about what you’d expect. The Jazz roll was great all around, just enough food for a light meal, great flavor, and enjoyable texture. The atmosphere was a little generic, but not off putting in any way.
Over all, a great place to check out if you want some good Japanese food.”

She had over five tables, yet she still maintained a positive attitude and a smile on her face every time we saw her. When servers are stressed, they typically don't smile, but she smiled throughout her night, making ours a good one. Specifically for my brother, it was his birthday, and he flew home soon. So it was a relief to know his last Louisiana meal was yummy with a good server. Also, I do not know the name of the other girl, but she had covered the drinks order down, and she was also super sweet. I love the atmosphere where people help out others; it provides a very joyful aura to be around! To conclude, Ally and the other girl were extremely sweet and kind. The staff exuded warmth and kindness, even amidst their stressful moments, making the experience all the more memorable. And the food? Phenomenal—truly a culinary delight you won’t want to miss! “I stopped by LongHorn Steakhouse for a solo lunch today, and overall it was a really pleasant experience. From the moment I walked in, everything moved pretty quickly, which I definitely appreciated since I was dining alone and didn’t want to spend too much time waiting around.

The service stood out right away. My waiter was attentive without being overbearing, and they gave a great recommendation for a starter that I ended up really enjoying. It’s always nice when staff actually know the menu and can guide you toward something good, especially when you’re trying to decide on your own.

For my main course, I ordered a steak with asparagus on the side. The steak itself was okay, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally. That said, I think part of it might have been my choice of sides—I wasn’t a big fan of the asparagus, and I feel like pairing it with something else might have made the overall meal more enjoyable. Next time, I’d probably switch it up and try a different side to better complement the steak.

Even with that, the overall experience was solid. The atmosphere was comfortable, the service was efficient, and the staff made the experience feel easy and welcoming, even as a solo diner. I’d definitely come back and give it another try, especially to explore more of the menu.”

“We enjoyed the best shrimp poboys and onion rings! The bread they use for the poboys is wonderful! The shrimp were a perfect size, perfectly battered up and perfectly fried. The size of the sandwich was just right as well, and overstuffed the way we like it. The lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and added the perfect touch. As for the thick cut homemade onion rings, those were honestly the best onion rings we have ever had from anywhere. I could make a meal out of their onion rings and I might just do that one day! I must add that we feel the prices are very affordable. Other places in town are charging more for food that isn’t nearly as good.”

The cake tasting was fantastic, and you get to take the rest home! As someone who is usually incredibly picky, I loved every single one that I tried. Her cakes are so different than your average cake - they’re light and so very tasty. We are looking forward to going back and ordering our wedding cake! Truly don’t think there’s a better option out there!”

“Intuition had me looking for something “healthy” after back to back gourmet meals the past few days… and boy did I find something special at Earthly Elephant. The whole menu is designed by the owner and two resident nutritionists, and upon reading the ingredients of each dish it was obvious the sourcing, quality and intelligence of each meal is next level. Went for the chef’s special, ended up with a fantastic potato salad and the best bowl of gumbo I have ever had. No joke. I continued about my busy day so invigorated, I had to come back before close for another cup to bring to a dear friend who’s been feeling sick. So get this: she is maybe 7-8 bites in, already ranting and raving about the flavors, and then she got a real serious look for a second. She looks up at me and asks, “is there any marijuana in this?.. no, really, I can hardly process how good this is tasting!” She wasn’t even hungry, having just finished a hospital meal beforehand. Long story short — the name says earthly, but the love, flavor and intelligent healing that goes into this food… you’ll think it was heaven sent. Will be back tomorrow.”

“This was my first time to go to Sedra, I went yesterday for a special meeting with a girls' group. We all had great service; the owner and her daughter Mia are onsite and there to serve you. The wait staff was personable and accommodating. I am on Weight Watchers and try to stay within point limits when I go out. The Acadian Catfish comes fried and had a sauce with rice and veggies on the side, they grilled the fish for me, and instead of rice I had a double helping of steamed broccoli. The fish was cooked perfectly and also had the right amount of seasoning. I would definitely go back. They are open for breakfast and lunch til 3:00 pm. My husband and I will go back and try breakfast.”

“My wife and I visited for the first time tonight. It has been a while since we had Lebanese Tea and it was excellent. For an appetizer, we had the Baba Ghanouj. It was really good. My wife had the Moussaka and it was very good. I had the Albasha Platter with the Chicken Shawarma. Very good flavor. I love Falafel and they had the best I have ever tasted. We will be back to try other things on the menu. Everything looked so good, what we had was so flavorful and all of it was delivered with excellent service.”

Only real complaint would be the portion size on the general tao's. for $13 bucks they coulda filled the tray instead of sharing it with the rice. Did Uber eats so I can't speak to the restaurant itself. Pretty fast delivery for the distance they had to travel and the food was still steaming when it arrived.”

“This was my first visit to this location. Normally, I'm not a fan of Waffle House because it's too greasy for me. But this location cooked everything perfectly. The servers were hilarious and a real joy to talk to during our breakfast. They also didn't mill around. They kept themselves busy and made sure that their restaurant was clean and bright. If we decide to go to Waffle House for breakfast again, it will definitely be this location.”

“My best friend and her family were looking for all of the seafood once they finished a swamp tour on the Friday before Mardi Gras. I called a few places and Pearl’s was able to serve it all up and then some. From the moment they walked in and began to order, the service was top notch. They were in from Manhattan Beach California and were served all of the favorites she remembered from growing up in Slidell. It’s definitely a place I will return….those boiled crabs!”

“Just ok food. Stopped by on Taco Tuesday and tried the Choriqueso and A few tacos. The tacos were bland and just ok, the choriqueso was good. Even for a buck a taco, I won't make it a point to return.
I sat at the bar so the service was pretty good. It was later in the evening and the place was packed and lively.”

“I’ve been to El Patrón Mexican Grill several times, and it has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants! Their churros filled with creamy custard are absolutely delicious and every dish is full of flavor. “First time eating here (10/25/2025) and it was absolutely amazing. My stepdaughter and I had Gator bites for the first time... it really does taste like chicken lol. Our server, Stephanie, was just the absolute best. She was kind, quick, and very informative about things to do around the area or where to visit the next time we come. The manager on duty was also amazing. He gave my stepdaughter one of their shirts and it really just made her day so much better 😁. The people, the atmosphere, the food... all of it was wonderful. Our host was great and full of smiles and great recommendations, she suggested the Big Apple and that's what we went with...amazing. We also had the parmesan garlic bites also fantastic. After a full day of printing custom t-shirts — standing on my feet, managing designs— I was beyond ready for something cold and comforting. Dairy Queen came through big time.

I swung by to grab a shake, and it ended up being the perfect way to wrap up a long, exhausting day. From the moment I pulled up, the staff was friendly and upbeat — exactly the kind of energy I needed to shake off the stress. I ordered a classic chocolate shake, and not only did it come out quickly, but it was thick, rich, and perfectly blended. You could tell they didn’t skimp on quality.

There’s something about that first cold sip after a day of hard work — it hit the spot in every way. Smooth, creamy, just the right amount of sweetness… It felt like a small reward that made the whole day feel worth it.

The service was fast, the staff was cheerful, and everything was super clean — even during the evening rush. Honestly, it was one of those simple experiences that leaves a big impression.

“The food was very good. Service is okay but they don't rely too much on their tabletop kiosk but they don't remember to check to see if somebody needs help when the red light is blinking at the top of them.
We had to ask different people to get our server. What was really nice is the manager stopped by and checked on our table and that's greatly appreciated it doesn't happen often in restaurants anymore.
Despite slower service It was a great experience!”
