“A wonderful place with delicious food I could imagine my Italian grandma making, if I had one. The only negative was the noises which somehow should be damped down”
“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5”

“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

“Been a huge fan of Chef Jasmine Norton for several years. When our plans changed and we postponed our annual anniversary trip to Jamaica, there was no other restaurant that I wanted to have dinner in than The Urban Oyster. From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by their warm and staff, it set the tone for the entire experience. We started off with raw oysters from Chincoteague and Canada that were flavorful and had the perfect balance of flavor and salt. I then indulged in the lobster bisque which had me wanting more but I knew I needed to save room for the main course. I selected the Seared Scallops and my husband had the Branzino. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and left us with no room for dessert. My only regret is that I didn’t take pictures for the review because we were too busy enjoying every moment! Urban Oyster, you exceeded this foodie’s expectations and we will be back soon! Thank you for making our 15th anniversary so special!”

We got tequenos, cauliflower, and hamachi. That was the best hamachi I ever had. It was sweet, tart, and salty. The yellow tail melted in my mouth. The Arroz con Chipi-Chipi reminded me of Paella. The Bienmasabe desert was tasty. It was sponge cake, coconut ice cream and chewy jellies for texture. The punch like a lady cocktail was refreshing not too sweet. Something about having it on the rocks took it over.
We were well taken by our servers.”

The Lamb Cops OMG and the Arrachera I won’t know what to pick next time. Save room for the drinks …… top notch. We will be back for sure maybe not with the kids lol although very kid friendly.”

It’s a busy restaurant for obvious reasons, but the staff made the experience a great one. The owner Carlos was super nice and stopped by to say hello to us as we have a mutual friend. We met the owner, the GM, the captain, and our sessions served Dean who treated us like royalty! Overall everything was pure perfection!”

“I worked here for 10 years in the industrial Engineering department (Maintenance). Compared to other companies in the industry the salary is kind of low, but for anyone looking to start a career in this field it’s probably the best option there is. They will accept anyone who is willing to work and learn and they will train you. Most people spend a few years learning the trade and then move on to make more money. Myself included. I don’t understand why ownership would allow their best guys to leave that way rather than structuring something to compensate them for all their experience and skill, but that’s just how it is there. This is not to say you can’t make a decent living there because you can, but just not what could be made elsewhere. The high pace makes for a great learning environment. It’s extremely hot there, but most places are. That place will always be like a second home to me. I loved working there. If they could match my salary I would go back. That will never happen though for reason I’ve explained here already. They have extremely good benefits compared to anywhere else. Cheapest and great coverage. 401k is kind of low. Overall, best place for low experience people and a great place to work, but not somewhere to expect $100k a year or more. I always send people to them for jobs still and I’ve been gone for a couple years now. It’s just a great place to work.”

“This subway is a great regular lunch spot employees are quick, kind and responsive. I feel bad whenever they receive a mobile order because the new order alert sound is a loud and repetitive alarm. If they are working on a sub they cant just stop, deglove, press the confirmation button to silence it, reglove and finish the sub. Subway should consider changing that sound or workers with ptsd might start quitting from the potential trigger.”
“Located inside of Sinai Hospital and very convenient. I visit this location on a regular basis because they are open 24 hours. Good food and as always fresh. The tomatoes could be more ripe instead of green. My sandwich was put together messy which is reflective of the service in my opinion.

If I had to grade on a scale of 1-10 I would grade "10" on every category offered The food is prepared everyday fresh. And I can not wait to come back again. I would highly recommend coming here....”

“Usually have to get here early to get your hands on a pastry so was delighted to pull it off. Coffee is Ceremony, so that was yummy. The pastries are always interesting combinations of flavors I would never normally think of so their menu is always fun to look over.
Had a s’mores cookie on the spot and a crepe brûlée tart for later. Both were delicious! Tried The crab sando too; I wish had a little more of the sandwich filling to balance the bread but was still tasty.”

I ordered the Lamb Curry. I definitely picked the hottest flavor and I'm definitely impressed. This flavor touched my ancestors. The lamb itself was juicy and tender. And the Garlic naan was perfectly seasoned.
I only gave a 4 star because I think a 20 dollar meal should come with at least 1 slice of naan as a meal. We should not be paying a separate price for something that should go with the meal. Especially when the meal is over 20 dollars. Blasphemy.
But perfect food. And because I Did call ahead to find out about the naan, I was able to speak to someone and they were very pleasant and helpful.”

“Yesterday was my first visit to Corner Juice Bar, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered a fresh wheatgrass shot—it was both affordable and made to perfection. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. The decor has a nostalgic charm that took me right back to my childhood—especially the mini piano and gold telephone. I’ll definitely be coming back every day!"”
“Sotto Sopra has quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant. The food is marvelous as is the atmosphere and service👌🏻. “If you have celiac disease, you can feel safe eating here. A manager will come and talk to you and communicate your allergies and concerns with a chef so you can get what you want. Im usually just concerned with gluten and tree nuts, but they will take anything you have into consideration. And the GF bread options for their sandwiches are awesome. AND and, the hash browns and grits are GF! That's rare.”

The waiter was very rude, moved too fast and rubbed everyone at the table the wrong way to the point that we didn't even want the dessert. We were just ready to go. “Foleys is the go to place for anything! As a regular I can say the food and drinks are always phenomenal. I reserved the upstairs for the first time for a nursing school graduation party! Mark was amazing at helping me facilitate this! Mark answered all of my questions leading up to the party and helped me make sure the day would be great!
Scott did a great job working the bar during our event! Meg was fantastic at the downstairs bar for people grabbing drinks on their way up. 10/10 recommend having an event here! The staff will treat you like family!”

“This place rocks, I’ve been to weddings, election night parties, birthday extravaganzas, movie screenings, happy hours, and plain ol’ nights out with friends at Peabody Heights and it remains my favorite brewery in Baltimore, which puts it in running for best world wide. And the beer is delicious! A mainstay of Baltimore beer culture and the greater charm city community.”
“Our first visit to Café Los Sueños was truly memorable. After reading the café’s glowing reviews, my husband and I decided to visit as a way to unplug from technology, relax, and enjoy our favorite books; and we couldn’t have made a better choice.
From the moment we walked in, Carlos, the owner, greeted us with such warmth and kindness. We had a friendly conversation with him both at the beginning and throughout our time there, which added such a personal touch to the experience. We ordered a Horchata latte with oat milk and an Ethiopian coffee and both were absolutely delicious.
But what truly stood out was the atmosphere that Carlos and his wife have created. It’s more than just a coffee shop… it’s a beautiful little community. Almost everyone who walked in seemed to know Carlos, and there were heartfelt, lively conversations happening all around. It felt like a safe space to share and connect; a rare and precious thing in today’s fast-paced world.
We will absolutely be returning to Café Los Sueños to disconnect and recharge. And if you visit, be sure to ask Carlos about the story behind the T-shirt framed on the wall. ;)

She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. “If you have celiac disease, you can feel safe eating here. A manager will come and talk to you and communicate your allergies and concerns with a chef so you can get what you want. Im usually just concerned with gluten and tree nuts, but they will take anything you have into consideration. And the GF bread options for their sandwiches are awesome. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!”

I didn't know the side was going to be extremely small, but it was delicious at least. I'd say the size if the omelet and the taste it had in it made up for it since it's the main dish. The maple- i think bourbon sausage was also tasty!! Ai Would definitely recommend giving it a try here just to try!”

“Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. Going above and beyond, thank you Rusty Scupper staff, thank you so very much. You gave my parents an experience that is above and beyond "like something out of a movie" mom keeps saying!!!!”

I got the White Truffle Lamb Cheesesteak. 1st my old man rant, I can’t believe what people are paying for craft beer/food. ‘Do you want sweet potato fries with that?’ Implied fries come with the cheesesteak. Back to our regularly scheduled review. I love what is going on down on the Baltimore Peninsula. I saw ‘Baltimore Peninsula’ painted on the side of a building so I assumed they were talking about the area I was in. Fun place, good crowd and good energy. The description of the WTL cheesesteak sounded very good. It did not pass the eye test. I expected the roll to be sub (philly) par and it was. It didn’t look good but it tasted amazing. All the parts worked very well together. The sweet potato fries were probably worth the extra $2.50. $20 for the WTL Cheesesteak, $2.50 for fries and $8.75 for a draft. If you follow me you know I am not a fan of these prices. With that said, I will be back to try the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Mac & Beer Cheese w/crumbled bacon. The bartender was pleasant and professional.”

She mentioned she has been with the company/restaurant and I can tell why! She is a GEM! I ordered the lump crab cake that came with shrimp and asparagus. I ordered rosemary potatoes as an additional side. He ordered the Lump crab imperial (came in a small black skillet) and had a sauce in it. Food was very tasteful!!! I even had some leftover to take home. Believe the hype! This IS SEAFOOD at its finest!!”

“AMAZING new Smashburger and Chicken 🐔 spot! The restaurant is super clean in a great neighborhood of Baltimore on N. Charles Street. Very comfortable, clean and open. The food is absolutely amazing and Halal! حلال For those that don't know, that means the meat is of a higher quality and they don't serve pork! The customer service is great also and the bathrooms were clean! Definitely, a place to stop by for a great lunch with co-workers or a light dinner with the misses.
