“Their sourdough is incredible, with a rich tang that stands out. Orders are taken right at the door, so you get a clear view of the amazing craft the team puts into every item. There is no sit down space, but they do offer a slicer if you want your loaf sliced ahead of time. I am also a huge fan of their english muffins and their soft, buttery brioche dinner rolls. “We stopped by today and the shop was actually closed for Thanksgiving, yet the owner came out, offered us fresh coffee, and even gave my kids a homemade loaf of bread. It was one of the kindest, most unexpected gestures.

He was so generous, so genuine, and it just confirmed what an amazing local spot this is. If we lived closer, this would 100% be our family’s go-to coffee shop.

Such a warm, welcoming place — absolutely worth visiting if you’re in the area. Highly recommend!“

“I had to wait until the time of my next meeting, so I went into this place , that happened to be just 3 minutes from it. I didn't want any coffee, so I tried the lemonade. It was perfect, refreshing and not too sweet (I told them I didn't want too much sugar). I ordered a croque monsieur for lunch, and it was delicious! I could also connect to wifi and work while I was there, so great option to work and even meet with clients!“

Service is always friendly even though my Spanish needs work. Prices are beyond reasonable. There's a place to get savory food next door. On my to do list. I ordered the Oreo Entremet and they slipped in a mini peanut butter tart! Both were absolutely delicious! They were not overly sweet and all the components were so complementary of each other. My friend got macarons to take home to her family. It’s a bonus to find out their macarons were featured in the Hunger Games! Definitely a must stop by if you’re in town!“

“I really enjoyed my visit to this Amélie’s Café—it’s much more spacious than other locations I’ve been to, which made it feel airy and inviting. The space stays true to their French eclectic aesthetic, filled with whimsical, vintage-inspired artwork that adds a quirky charm.\n\nThe staff at the pastry counter were friendly and helpful, which made browsing their baked goods a treat. Unfortunately, the experience at the coffee station was less warm—the woman working there wasn’t as welcoming, which was a slight disappointment.\n\nWe ordered a tiramisu latte, which was just okay—not bad, but not especially memorable. We also tried a half-dozen macarons, and those were hit or miss depending on the flavor. Favorites were the raspberry, café au lait, and birthday cake, while the lavender lemon, blueberry cheesecake, and lemon tasted a bit too artificial and overly sweet.\n\nOne thing I did notice was that the tables weren't wiped down well, it was still kind of sticky, even though the café wasn’t busy at the time. That said, the overall vibe was cozy and relaxed—a lovely place to enjoy a drink and pastries while catching up with friends.“
