“This is hands down the best bakery in clt. I was there a little later in the day for my birthday and the two guys working were so charismatic and friendly! We got a chocolate croissant and a toast. Amazing. I’m convinced there’s nothing bad on the menu.“

“I found out about this bakery on my visit back home in MN. I was so impressed I had to find a location near me here in Charlotte so I was very happy to learn Charlotte has a few locations. I live near this one so I came and checked it out on Christmas day with my sons. This was their first visit. Overall it was a very nice Christmas day treat. We all enjoyed our pastries that seem to have just the right about of sweetness in them and that's what I love most about this bakery, you don't feel guilty about indulging in a sweet treat because it's not overly sugary. They have other goodies as well that aren't sweet so if desserts aren't your thing you can still find something for you. The only thing that I don't like is they don't heat up your pastries but they do have a microwave you can use in the dining area and also my latte wasn't hot enough for me. It was like as soon as I picked it up from the counter it was already warm which is weird as I had literally picked it up as soon as she finished making it so idk if they're machine was faulty or they just don't use the hottest setting or what but when I order coffee I like it hot, I do not like cold or room temp coffee at all lol and I understand not serving it extremely hot but I should feel some kind of heat when I'm drinking it lol.“

“Although we arrived within the last hour before the store closed, the doughnut was absolutely delicious. The young man at the counter was still gracious enough to serve us even though we interrupted their closing duties. We got the White Chocolate Pistachio and it was fantastic! I can't wait to return to try many of the other offerings.“

Stopped in yesterday for some birthday donuts and the sweet man behind the counter gave us 2 for free. “Great little find while visiting for the day. Staff were friendly and guided me through the menu. The avocado toast was exceptional with fresh and curated ingredients. The hot almond milk latte was velvety and smooth. My husband had the cold brew and describe it as “good”. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. If I lived in the area I would be a repeat customer. Overall, recommend!“

“Loved all of it. The vibe makes you want to travel to Greece; in fact I'd say the vibe transports you to a cafe in Greece for a little. The food is delicious. I got the classic Giro + Cucumber Salad + Greek Coffee. I was skeptical of the Greek coffee at first, but wow it was good. Food was fresh, and came out quickly. I will be back again soon!!“

“Loved everything about this bakery. The breads and cake were so delicious! I bought so much to try! I even bought two drinks to try. The good thing is the bakery even gave free complimentary water if you didn’t want to purchase a drink. The atmosphere was very calming. Mind you, I did go to the bakery on a weekday around 4:30ish when it wasn’t so busy. I’m sure it’s busy on the weekends.“

“We stopped into La Dolcekca Bakery Cafe today. This is a hidden gem! Never expected one of the best cheesecakes my husband and I have ever had!! The passion fruit cheesecake is an absolute must! Usually cheesecakes are so dense and heavy but not this one. Light, fluffy and amazing with the most exquisite passion fruit on the top. This restaurant also serves brunch, lunch, and has a coffee/tea bar as well. Surprisingly cute atmosphere. Located off Montford drive beside Jeff’s bucket shop. Unexpected but delightful! I’m going back for that key lime pie! And to top it all off it is a local business.“

We've come several times since this location opened, and the staff is always nice and quick. The self service make the process easier if you're not using the app to order ahead.“

“The chocolate cake may be the best thing I've ever eaten. If it fell on the floor after I bought it, I'd eat it Chandler and Rachel style off the floor. The macarons are very fluffy and delicious too. I was not a fan of the smores bar though. It was too hard and heavy.“

“Even if you don't buy anything you should visit Amelie's bakery. The decor is absolutely amazing for a restaurant! It helps you distract from the prices haha not astronomical but definitely inflated.
Food was good and so was the coffee, no complaints. The place is very clean as well, but we were there early in the morning, one of the first few customers.
Since this is a French style bakery Cafe, I expected that food is brought to you - it is not. You pick it up and then clean up after yourself.
Order at the counter, pick up your own food, and then tip for service? Not great.“

“I am German and I was looking for an authentic German Apple Pie.
I live in the USA since 2001 … in Charlotte since 2004.
This Apple Pie … was by FAR the best I have had.
They will get ALL my orders going forward… for sure
