“Ate here with a friend for dinner. I have celiac & called ahead, they told me they have the best gluten free pizza on the east coast (i’ll be the judge of that hahaha). The hostess was great and walked me through the menu. I ended up getting the garlic cheese bread app and cesar salad (have to ask for both to be GF). Both were 10/10. The salad was HUGE. Grilled chicken is an extra $6. My friend got the pizza and said it was great. Will be returning to try the GF pizza! Only pizza they cant do GF is Nashville Hot because of the fried chicken. No gluten reaction from me!!!“

“For the past 3 years, my family and I have been coming to Marco’s Pizza on Highway 54 in Durham every single Friday, and I can honestly say this location is one of the best-run restaurants I’ve ever experienced. DJ, Nate, and the entire team consistently provide outstanding customer service every single time we visit.

The pizzas are always fresh, delicious, and made with care. I love that they continue bringing in new pizza options and changing things up while still maintaining great quality. My children and my entire family look forward to Marco’s Pizza Fridays every week.

What really stands out is the professionalism of the staff. The employees are always friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, patient, and attentive. They answer the phone promptly, and if they ask you to hold, they actually come back quickly instead of leaving you waiting. Orders are made on time, and we never have to deal with long waits.

The store itself is always clean, including the bathrooms and dining area, which says a lot about how much pride they take in this location.

I genuinely love everything about this store and everything about this pizza. As long as this Marco’s Pizza stays open and in business, this is where my family will continue getting our pizza. “Thank you Enzo’s Pizza for always having great pizza with quick delivery for weary parents at Duke Children’s. We have been ordering during all of our hospital stays with our daughter over the past 2 years. Last night, I was extra impressed that you not only sent plates and napkins as always, but you sent cups with the 2 Liter drink we ordered. Duke Health has discontinued all regular soft drinks in soda fountains or drink machines on campus, and that cold Mountain Dew was great last night after a long surgery day!! You da best! ❤️“

“Definitely a fun place to go and while away a couple of hours! When you first enter, you have to give them your ID to scan, which seems a bit weird to me, even though it IS a bar because they just look at your ID back where I live. Not sure why they scan it here.

As others have mentioned, you purchase tokens here to play the games. You basically get 3 tokens per dollar and can pay cash, Visa, or MasterCard. So be aware the token machine does NOT take Discover (how 1980's). There are cups by the token machine to hold your tokens, which I appreciated. There is a place as you leave to drop your used token cup in a bin by the exit.

The pinball machines all take 4 tokens. The claw machines also take 4 tokens. Skee ball and basketball require 4 tokens. All the newer games require 4 tokens. Now, there are multiple older standup machines that only take 1 token, like Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Galactica, Frogger, Street Fighter, Dig Dug, etc. I also saw a few multi-player games around the edge of the room, it they were constantly full, so I have no idea on cost for those.

You can also get a little bit of food if you like and all kinds of alcoholic drinks (It is a bar after all). There is a station to get water with clean cups that appears to be free of charge.

I appreciated how roomy each stall in the restroom is, and at least in the ladies, there were cup holders for your token cup!

Definitely a fun place. Oh, even though it is a bar, at least when we were there in the early afternoon, there were a lot of families and little kids. I think I saw somewhere that an adult is required to enter with kids, and also maybe that kids are not allowed in after a certain time of night.“

I must not forgot the amazing service from the amazing woman that brought me my food. I asked for latex kitchen gloves to put under my cotton gloves since rain was forecasted for the race. “Great inexpensive stop, especially during our road trip from indiana to the beaches in North Carolina. My 6yr old picky eater enjoyed the pizza, cheese bread and cinnamon bites. I personally enjoyed it all including the spaghetti and the variety of pizzas they offered. Management and staff were great. Bathrooms were clean as well. Hard to beat all you can eat including a salad bar with tons of toppings. 2 adults and 1 child and it was $41. We're left happy and full.“

“This is the only authentic pizza joint in Durham, serving the only authentic pie in Durnam. They kind of screwed it up by putting in a schmaltzy "cafe" bar but the pizza remains undamaged.“

“I decided for the first time to try this pizzeria in the Durham Food Hall. Bri and Asher we warm, kind and knowledgeable for the questions that I had. Jayla did a magnificent job on putting together my Hummus Flatbread. The flatbread was soft yet cooked to perfection to hold the hummus and the toppings to the hummus flatbread. I mean the vegetables were cut to the perfect size not overwhelming, there was just enough hummus spread to not make the bread mushy on application and just perfect sprinkles of salt to keep the party going on the right accord. Great job 👏🏽 and they told mee how to heat it up how I would like to have it again. Wonderful staff.“

“This location gets pretty busy in the evening. It is part of the Circle K gas station, so its easy to get other things while waiting for your pizza. Being busy i can understand it taking time, but 20 mins for some Italian cheese bread and crazy puffs is a but long.
On terms of the food, their Italian Cheese Bread is killer especially with crazy sauce. I tried the New cheese steak puffs, they are pretty good, especially if you eat them while hot.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by my slice. It really was like a slice you would get in New York City. The crust was crisp yet tender and folded in half properly. The ratio and amount of sauce and cheese was appropriate. My only two slight issues were that I thought the sauce was a bit bland and I would have preferred that the end crust had been a bit larger. Inside seating was a bit snug but there were three nice outside tables.“

Pizza is very good: properly cooked crusts, fresh ingredients, made to order--so nice and hot. Subs are fairly good: ratio of ingredients to bread is a little over tilted toward the bread, but otherwise fresh and tasty. Indoor seating is ample but quite noisy: there are many loud speakers on the ceiling throughout the venue to allow the pizza readiness be announced.

Unfortunately, both this time & the last time they were slightly off on the orders even calling the store, but the food was awesome.
