“I recently visited Yangji, a fantastic lamb skewer restaurant. The skewers are perfectly seasoned and cooked, full of flavor every time. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying great food with friends or family. I’ll definitely be coming back highly recommend Yangji if you’re craving delicious lamb skewers!“

“This was our first time trying these dishes, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The service was excellent. Extremely attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish!!! The location is great as well, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. “For what I ordered (steamed chicken with broccoli - garlic sauce on the side for dipping as you like - or don't), it's very good. The chicken when steamed (if it is good) is how you can measure if the restaurant is any good and it defintely passed the test. Most other Chinese restaurants chicken when steamed (with no sauce on it and eaten) will taste gamey and just not edible in my book. This was NOT the case.
Other than that, the parking is non existent in the later hours till closing in front of the restaurant as the parking is shared with tenants of the building above and other restaurants in the same location. Not good for being on route 5 I can assure you, but still doable.
Lastly, I know it's a Chinese restaurant, but they rush you off the phone when ordering without you finishing a thought or a sentence. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT.
Have one more minute of patience and you might make more money per order. An extreme turn off when ordering anywhere really.
Lastly, NO DELIVERY.

“This place serves some of the best jajangmyeon I’ve ever had. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the black bean sauce was rich, savory, and full of deep flavor without being too heavy. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and well balanced. Portions were generous, and the service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic and delicious Korean-Chinese food!“

“Excellent Northeastern Chinese skewers spot. It’s BYOB and there’s a liquor store across the street as well as a couple blocks away. The skewers are already pre-cooked when you get them, so you just need to cook them for a minute or two longer to heat them up and get a bit of char. The egg fried rice was really solid. The cold dishes were also good—flavors and textures were spot on. The plates for the cold dishes were pretty large and felt like they were sized for 4 people or more to split. Ended up spending around $70pp.“

“This place is a gem. Placed in the heart of Palisades Park. They are family owned and run a great restaurant. The black bean noodles never get old. The sweet and sour pork is the best appetizer.
Whenever you are in Palisades Park and thinking about trying Korean food, try this place. You won't be disappointed. Come here with family, or by yourself. Always leave with a happy stomach.

“I ordered it for delivery a few times, and the taste of the sauce and seasoning were just right for my taste, so I plan to order it again.

-What I liked the most were Nanjawans and Yoo Sanseul. The Yusanseul was delicious as it came out exactly as I expected, and the Nanjawanse was a bit perplexed by its appearance as the individual pieces of meat were more round-shaped than I expected, but the sticky meat inside and soft texture on the outside went well with the sauce. I enjoyed it.
-I didn't enjoy the Jjajangmyeon and Kkanpunggi as much as I did, but since I live about an hour away from delivery, I think there was nothing I could do physically to prevent the noodles from going bad or the batter from becoming mushy.“

“I'm a regular here. Jjajangmyeon is delicious. It doesn't taste like sugar and tastes like Miwon. It feels healthy, right? Anyway, it's delicious. It was like that for a while after the store moved, but it seems like it's back to its old taste. In particular, the Jjamppong sweet and sour pork is generous and the best in New Jersey!“

We got the dry pot baby rib and kung pao chicken lunch specials and both were quite excellent. The kung pao chicken really stood out to me as being particularly flavorful and nicely spiced. The interior of the resturant was also gorgeous and not too busy during lunch hours.“

“Antidote was such a great spot to have dinner on my visit to NYC. The wait was not too long considering there were 7 people in my party. We had so many items off the menu and the staff was very attentive to allergies and other food preferences. The tea smocked duck was incredible, the cucumber was amazing, the wontons were delicious! Everyone loved their dish it was absolutely a great dinner. The only downside was that some of the fish dishes were made with tilapia which is not a fish preference for most of the friends I was with. “Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

They were a little bit salty for my taste, but overall very flavorful and satisfying. “Quite different than what I had expected, it's more of a fusion with some Chinese influence. Loved the open kitchen, the ambience was nice and fairly quiet. Was not too crowded, so not sure how it would've been if there're more people. Overall I liked most of the dishes and the price point is really good for the quality delivered. definitely recommended“

“This spot has an extensive menu, fantastic prices, large servings, and an inviting atmosphere! Some of the more American style Chinese items (Kung Pao, General Tzo’s, and fried rice) can be ordered and come out extremely quickly (our table neighbors order some of these items and they came out in under 10 minutes!). We ordered the Garlic Sauce Style tofu, Scallion Style chicken, and Chili Oil Pork Dumplings. Everything was super delicious and we would definitely order it all again!“
