“Food is amazing! Service goes above and beyond. Had the uni soba, truffle gnocchi, and the pork chop. Both noodle dishes were on the smaller side, but definitely worth every cent. The pork chop was massive, definitely would recommend sharing it.“

“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“A charming gem in the West Village with that quintessential neighborhood feel. The team here was warm and engaging, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The intimate setup makes it great for a date or catching up with friends, and both the cocktails and wine list were excellent. What stood out most, though, was the creativity in the dishes, each one felt thoughtfully put together and seasonal. Recommend the black sea bass ceviche.“

“We went here for my birthday dinner and I just wanna say from the start. The interior of this place is adorable. It is super cozy feels almost like a very rustic cavity. Feel kitchen is wide open for you to see everything that we were cooking which I love I had pretty high hopes walking in here and it has a pretty good reputation. They also own the sister restaurant a penny upstairs who I think has one of the best desserts in New York City so I put this place pretty high on my expectations.
Everything my hand was decently good it was good. Nothing was mind blowing though. The pit was a starter. It was strong good portion for you get for pate and went great on the bread
The jamon or prosciutto was also really strong and delicious. However, after that, I forgot what these dishes were I can’t even name them looking at the pictures anymore. The pasta was decent. The problem is after I left this place. I almost forgot this meal totally if it wasn’t for the atmosphere. It wasn’t for the space that I loved so much. It would’ve been quite forgettable for me.
Of course, the one of the most famous things they have. Here is the chocolate cake. It is huge decadent delicious I’m not really a chocolate cake person and we definitely have to take home, but I really love eating it the next two days.
I do remember also having some kind of steak with blueberries on it. It felt great Thanksgiving and I don’t know it’s like berries on my steaks personal choice. It’s a personal choice.“

“amazing for apéro - Highlighting that the cheese plate was $22 with only one piece of cow’s milk cheese that was delicious, but not a sufficient cheese plate for that price!
Overall, very good wine and good appetizers but with small portions. Bread was good“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“We stumbled into C. di Palo today and it turned into one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. This tiny, unassuming spot near Little Italy is truly a treasure. We tried five of their incredible cheeses — each one unique and delicious — and they helped pair the perfect wine for me and a fantastic beer for my husband.
The owner is the sweetest gentleman, full of knowledge about Italian wine and fine cheeses. He took the time to chat with us, sharing stories and teaching us about the different regions and traditions behind what we were tasting. It felt like a personal tour of Italy right from the counter!
If you love authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and discovering local “hole-in-the-wall” gems, this place is a must-visit. We would recommend this to anyone visiting New York and wanting a glass of wine and charcuterie and authentic Italian experience. Also this Italian family just celebrated their 100th year of business!!“

“We had a wonderful experience at Musette celebrating my husband’s birthday! They were very accommodating for our group of six, but I strongly recommend making a reservation! The evening felt easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The wine flights were excellent and a fun way to try a variety of options. Both the Musette flatbread and the salmon flatbread were absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. On top of that, the service was fast, friendly, and attentive, which really made the night special. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Musette Team!“

“A chic and unique wine bar featuring chocolate pairing.
Don't let the name fool you - there's also quite a bit to eat here...
We actually came for a night cap - had the must-have chocolate martinis, hazelnut and raspberry, both were delicious.
We also had a cheese platter and a fondue eith fruit, marshmallows and rice crispies.
While the cocktails were stellar - the rest was rather forgettable.
But it does feel like the unique combination of chocolate and wine should be enjoyed here.
All in all, a very recommended place for the lovers of both wine and chocolate.“

“Vanguard is an absolute gem just steps away from the chaos of Times Square. Tucked on a quiet corner, it feels like slipping into a little dream world — warm, cozy, and instantly welcoming. The atmosphere is intimate without being stuffy, the kind of place where you can actually hear the person you’re with, relax, and just enjoy your glass of wine.
The service was truly outstanding: kind, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling pushy. You can tell they care about what they’re pouring and about making you feel at home. It’s the perfect spot to escape the noise, sip something delicious, and slow down for a moment in the middle of NYC. I’d come back in a heartbeat — Vanguard is the kind of place you almost don’t want to share so it stays your little secret.“

“Such a hospitable team!! We walked in without a reservation and were told they had a spot for us but had a reservation coming in 30 mins. They immediately made us feel welcome and even made us feel comfortable and confident we could order a few plates of food in that time. We ordered three plates that all came out quickly with enough time for us to enjoy. Every plate was uniquely Lei, perfectly balanced and seasoned.
It was a quick visit but I’m already looking forward to my return“

“With Others has been my favorite wine bar in NYC for quite some time. I love stopping in with a few friends for a glass or bottle of wine and some snacks, or booking their Sunday wine school for a fun weekend adventure. I hosted a birthday party in the backyard a few weeks ago. Everything was perfectly handled! Lauren and the staff helped me pre-order wine and food and kept everything running smoothly. Would highly recommend for parties!“

“Just the best. Favorite wine bar in the world, bar none (no pun intended… maybe a little though). Up until coming here for the first time four years ago, I was largely tepid (at best) when it came to wine. Then their incredible selection opened up a whole new door to wine I didn’t even know existed. Turns out, Eastern/central European wines are my favorite, and their thoughtfully curated menu never has any shortage of options to try and fall in love with. Bummed they don’t have their covid-era outdoor patio situation anymore, but thats obviously not that deep. Staff/somms are so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and personable especially to chit chat with about wine or, like, anything else. Big thanks and love to them for helping me figure out what wine is my vibe. I love Ruffian always forever.“

“Overall rating: 4.8
My friend took me to this place for after-work drinks and it’s such a cute spot for the area. While the wine was tasty & the staff was so nice, no happy hour? Not even a small one? Cmon.
Definitely want to come back for a date if I’m in the area.“

“I had a really thoughtful and lovely experience here. We were celebrating a birthday and the team - starting with the door guy and then to the lead/captain, whatever they call it. They made sure to help us out in any way possible and I was fully ready to have a typical ny experience, where they just have no patience for groups. Thank you for all of your true and genuine hospitality! <3“

“There were no alligators in sight, unfortunately, but the service was excellent. Emma and Lena (I think) were very welcoming. I was the first drip coffee order of the day (this was around 4pm), but they were still accommodating. Convenient location, a crisp air temperature, a carefully curated bookshop. Bread upon request. Also milk and/or cream upon request. And bathroom upon request. Good service, whether requested or not. Would recommend“

“Went for brunch. Good food but not great, pricey, with slightly over salted ham in the Croque Madame for my liking. We had a reservation for 4 but that changed to 6. They really couldn't accommodate that change, but it was last minute so I don't hold that against them. Very busy place with lots of energy.“

“Food was really good. The Amish Chicken and Jerk Short ribs were delicious. Server was great. Kitchen seemed to get a bit backed up a peak time. That gave us an opportunity to taste their pull apart bread (whoa), which they brought out due to the wait.

“My favorite wine bar in New York — St Jardim is a triple threat of great food & drink, atmosphere, and service. I inquired about hosting a birthday event here back in 2021 and they were highly accommodating of the request, going above and beyond to service us and make it one of my most memorable birthdays. Great place for brunch, dinner, drinks, and everything in between — a true institution over the years that I will continue to frequent!“

“We were walking the neighborhood, looking for an in-between meal. We walked in LelaBar and they were kind enough to let us in, even though we were a couple minutes early. “Wow! While waiting for my dinner reservation, I googled Wine Bars near me and Brick came up as an option. With such great reviews, I had to try and it didn't disappoint.
Fernando was beyond friendly and helpful. A great selection of wine and the goat cheese was on point.
This is an unpretentious wine bar where you feel comfortable. Service was great without being overbearing. I loved it!“

“Lovely place. We got the 5-course prix fixe, which let us sample lots of different dishes. Everything was interesting and delicious. The staff was so lovely, personable and warm. I won't lie, in these days of hard budgets, this will be a splurge for many (we went with the help of a gift card!). With tip, it came to about $250...that's a lot for two people. Was it worth it? Yes!! But is that kind of expenditure hard for many right now? Also yes. Still, I am so glad we went, and I am thankful to the staff for the great food and service. This place is terrific for a special occasion.“

“Great small and quaint bar next to the 7 line this was like my fourth time frequenting this wine bar. The bar itself is very cozy and with unique decor. Besides serving many wines they have cocktails with unique names and beers. We were there for happy hour and had wine with a spread. We also ordered a charcuterie plate. We enjoyed playing a card game and stayed until the jazz performers played their numbers. We really enjoyed our night.“

“By far my fave kbbq spot. The meats are high quality and the servers are always very friendly. Their marinated short ribs and house special spicy pork are my absolute faves. Love how the charcoal flavor gets into the meat. Their mool nengmyun (buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) compliments their bbq meats really well, and their broth is the real deal. The Korean-style beef tartare (over seasoned sushi rice) is phenomenal and my must-eat every time I go.“
