“My daughter chose this for a birthday dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic. Audrey was our server. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, made great recommendations, she was there when we needed her without being there too often. I would highly recommend Rosella Sushi. Can’t wait to get back to New York City and return for a meal here. It also makes it extra cool when Chef Jeff is wearing a Florida Gator hat!“

Here the food is different not the usual curry dish or sate and oh soooo good.
Loved the 2 shrimp dishes we ordered, the shrimp cake as appetizer was excellent.

“Long line because we are all basic tourists 😅 Left line cash only and right line you order on tablet and pay with card. You are welcome! The baked pork bun and pineapple pork buns were delicious. Sweet and salty soft and crunchy simultaneously. Your mouth will be pleasantly confused. Must try!“

“all of the food was incredibly flavorful, even the traditionally more milder dishes were still packed with flavor. the interior was beautifully decorated and the staff very lovingly decorated the restaurant with halloween decorations for this season.

we loved the yunnan fried tofu with the super soft interior and perfectly fried outside, the best texture combination in our opinions. the deep fried short ribs had so much flavor and paired perfectly with the lime. the highlight of the meal, the yunnan signature crossing bridge had some of the most tender meat along with the soothing soup that was much needed on a cold day. the portions were pretty big and the food was filling.

“The noodles are amazing, and every dish is customizable. I love the scallion ginger, but I've had other flavors too. I ALWAYS get the seitan, it is so good! I think they make the seitan in house, there's something unique about the texture.“

“All the dishes were fantastic, but my favorite was the tandoori lamb kebab, it was absolutely delicious. The exterior was perfectly crispy, yet the meat remained tender and juicy. If you love lamb, you definitely need to try it. I ate an entire pound on my own. The guyru laghman was also great, with rich and flavorful seasoning. While the other dishes might not have been as remarkable, they were still well above average. The only thing that didn’t suit my taste was their dessert. The dessert was overly sweet, almost excessively so, though that might be their signature style. As for the service, it seems like only their daughter speaks English, but her voice is quite soft, and it feels like she’s contributing to the family business out of obligation. However, this doesn’t affect anything, I’d still go back again.“

“My friend told us she’s been coming to Joes, at their old location, since she was a kid. She brought us here to eat their xiaoliangbao- we tried the pork and the crab. Very yummy broth, we liked the one with just pork the best.

The restaurant is very clean and modern.

found portion sizes were appropriate and justified for the price for entree, however could’ve gone a bit more, ~25-30% for salad and calamari!
But remember you’re in the upper west side, other restaurants might disappoint you even further on portion sizes lol!?“

“I am vegetarian and love to get the scallion and ginger stir fry with seitan. You can order it light/med/high spice level to your preference. The noodles are so tasty and you can really tell they are fresh. The mango tea is an awesome lightly sweetened beverage addition to balance the spice of the noodles.“

“The food here was excellent. I got the Pad Thai and it was one of the best I've ever had. Their appetizers are all very good. I'd highly recommend going here on a date or family dinner. Menu is a little pricy but worth it.“

“Classic mom-and-pop style Pho spot. Although there’s a lot of elevated viet restaurants in NYC, sometimes I just prefer the laidback atmosphere and traditional dishes a mom-and-pop shop offers. “Food was really good! I cant remember exactly the name of the udon I got but it had snow crab in it. It was a little salty until I fully mixed everything together so definitely mix mix lol and then for dessert we also had the soba pudding which was great - not too sweet and I liked the crunch on top! They did keep asking our table if we were done and we felt a little rushed to finish toward the end and they took a while at the beginning to come get our orders but generally food was good“

The food was flavourful, the pork melted in your mouth and the broth for the ramen was so creamy. The prices are decent and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to visit again when I go back to New York.“
