“This place is so homey. As a Thai who hasn't been back home for years, the dishes here really hit the spot. Their crab curry is very aromatic and rich in flavor (with a nice kick too). The softshell crab was so divine and the pork was delicious. We would definitely recommend!“

“Our first time here (2 of us) for dinner before a Knicks game. I had zero pre-arrival idea of the model of service or seating. A pleasant surprise in and of itself. One of us chose the vegetarian ramen (non pork broth and zero meat (of course), the other is not veg and ordered the classic ramen. We added 1 bowl of rice to share. “The wait isn’t bad, the food is banging and cheap, don’t stand around in the line unless you know what you’re waiting for is the one tip I’ll give, people just stand around without seeing which line they’re in. You can walk right up to the counter if you’ve got cash. Get a few buns to go for later. The shu mai was ok seemed like it had been sitting a while.“

Service is fast, pleasant, and efficient. Prices are quite moderate. And the food is unreal! My favs: The grilled chicken Pho is the best I've ever had. And the Bahn Mi is fantastic“

“Tangy, sour, spicy, yummy!!! This soup has such a good flavor range - I literally went wow inside me haha. It was a yummy soup. Wish I got more meat instead of minced meat (I don’t like minced meat in soup and noodles in general). The service is quick and friendly. Also I hate the fact that there is no physical menus - bring back physical menus please!!!“

“The food was excellent - the crispy duck tasted very crispy with the sauce, and the chive pancake tasted better than any other pancake. The service was very fast when delivering the dishes, delivering them all within 10 minutes of placing an order. Lastly, the atmosphere was very pleasant, the waitresses were very friendly and responsive. Overall a great experience and would like to go there again!“

“Let me just say this…..This is the best restaurant I went to that serves beef noodle soup❤️🥡🥢The only one I knew growing up was the one in the cup from the supermarket🤷🏽‍♀️

Today was my first time here at this restaurant and it was amazing. I literally took my time eating this because I didn’t want it to finish so soon lols.

“Tangy Noodle is not the typical Chinese restaurant that New Yorkers are used to ordering from. We are accustomed to the traditional looking and tasting fast food menus that we grew up with. Just one look at their menu with the variety of photos of the dishes, makes your mouth water with anticipation. They are visually new and inviting, well-crafted, and taste far better than the average Chinese takeout. I highly recommend Tangy Noodle for the experience of a home cooked Chinese meal. The staff at the 8th Ave and 15th street location are so nice and friendly. Ask for Cloe, Yumi and the manager Mailin. You won’t be disappointed. Tell them David recommended you.“

“Such a great hidden gem for lunch. The space is cozy, aesthetic, and thoughtfully decorated — it has that perfect “hole in the wall” charm while still feeling cute and welcoming.

I ordered the lunch special and got the Thai basil fried rice with shrimp, along with soup and fried chicken, all for around $17, which is an amazing value for the portion size. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned.

I also grabbed a Thai iced tea to go for $6, and it was the perfect addition.

The service was attentive and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I didn’t feel rushed at all, which I really appreciated for a solo lunch.

Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy and affordable Thai lunch.“

Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S...HOLE!!!! It should be reported and closed. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions of the place. Restaurants that do not care about the quality of their products do not care about hygiene.“

“Yakisoba tastes almost the same in Tokyo street food!!!!! Love it!! okonimiyaki is also good! The chicken (karaage style) is also a must try. Another thing i like is they prepare the food fresh. Can’t wait to visit again. :)“

“Forgot to take photos of the food but everything was so good. Steamed Pork Dumplings were massive, soft, and delish. Chicken Soup Dumplings had a really rich broth. Beef Lo Mein was flavorful and cooked well. Sesame Chicken was super crispy and the sauce was incredible but not spicy as it shouldve been. Chicken Fried Rice was standard but good.

The free jasmine tea was a nice touch and great throughout the meal!“
