“Overall the food was good and the service was good at first. Went for my birthday today and our waitress was nice and welcoming. However once we got to desert she did not inform us that the creme brule was not an option. I tried to let that slide but then after we were done she came and took our plates and never gave us a chance to answer her when she asked if we enjoyed it, which I did not (CAKE WAS VERY DRY). We then continued to sit there waiting as she was talking to her coworkers. The problem was to often towards the end of our meal and after desert she wasn't there when we needed her and wasnt paying attention. When I told her I wanted the bill and I just wanted to leave she became confrontational to which I replied WE JUST WANTED TO LEAVE NOW PLEASE! I would dare say id go back and try it again but the ending was disappointing and frustrating.”

“We drove 2.5 hours up along Lake Champlain to get there yesterday. It was SOOOOO worth the trip for All U Can Eat Haddock. First piece must have been close to 1 pound and cooked perfectly. Will be back up again as the menu had so many things I wanted to try! Wish I knew about this years ago. Staff was very friendly and service was exceptional!! Heard so many other customers ordering the Twin Lobster Special. WELL DONE.”

The place was crowded, but there were no delays with service or quality. The chef put on quite an entertaining show, and everything was cooked to perfection (had the hibachi seafood combo). Prices were as expected for the quality and quantity of food. So if you're in Plattsburgh and want Japanese food, it's worth a stop...”

“I have never had a bad product from here. not one. It's so darned good it is dangerous to the wallet! Their cheesecakes have been my staple birthday cake of choice since well before they relocated to South Peru street . The Australian tea cake is famous for a good reason . They have the best cakes, cookies , donuts and pastries and I can't imagine anything being less than spectacular . Rambachs is an absolute must if you like delicious baked treats.”

Well, it’s been awhile, but I’m finally ready to crown a victor, a surprising new entrant to the competition: MHAB Fresh! A fellow foodie told me about it, and I’ve now had two wonderful sandwiches there! The first was a roast beef and provolone with onions, greens, and housemade pepper relish on this amazing ciabatta. And today’s was turkey (roasted in house), ham, and salami with fresh mozzarella, marinated onions, banana peppers, lettuce, and tomato on a chewy sub roll. Just excellent! And modestly priced at $5.49 for a sizeable sandwich. They are open 10-5 on weekdays, they have three special sandwiches a day (get on their email list for notifications), and you can order ahead online for quick pickup. They are located on the base at the site of Clinton’s old dorms. YOU ARE WELCOME!”

“It's a McDonald's. The foods are not that healthy, but quick when you're in a pinch. In my opinion it's expensive for the quality. You should spend a few extra bucks and get a steak somewhere. Their app has some discounts which is nice.”
