“I’ve been going to Pizza Pizza since I was in Grade 9, and one of the main reasons I’ve kept coming back is because of Angela. She’s been working there for years, and she’s always been kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming every single time I’ve come in.

From the start, Angela made the experience better. Whether it’s a busy rush or a quiet day, she treats everyone with the same respect and positive energy. She takes the time to listen, gets orders right, and never makes you feel rushed. Even when it’s hectic, she stays calm and professional, which really stands out.

What I appreciate the most is how she remembers people and builds real connections with customers. Over the past four years, she’s recognized me, asked how I’ve been, and always greeted me with a smile. That kind of consistency isn’t common, and it shows she truly cares about her job and the people she serves.

It’s rare to come across someone like Angela who leaves such a strong, positive impression just by being kind and dedicated. She’s a big reason why that Pizza Pizza location feels welcoming, and she definitely deserves recognition for the effort she puts in every day.“

There is a fantastic range of options on their menu making it an excellent spot to stop for a specialty drink and appetizer, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert or cocktail hour. With every bite you can taste the quality of what you are eating. I ate there with my 3 and 6 year old recently and they loved it just as much as I did. I highly recommend everyone visits this unique spot and appreciates their ethos for themselves! If I lived in Toronto I would definitely be a regular customer.“

“First meal on a patio this summer I think? Really nice atmosphere, music not too loud nor was the side street the patio borders. I always get the Tiger bowl, and did so once again— but I think next time I’m going for the protein bowl that my friend had. Our server Spencer was great, good energy.“

“Amazing lunch at Fresh at Yonge and Eglinton.
Soup and salad were fresh and delicious.
Chel did a wonderful service and suggested to order soup and salad separately since I didn’t want to have pita or bread .
This was a great suggestion as I got more salad that I love .
Service was also excellent .
Would definitely recommend coming here for lunch / brunch .“

Over the years, Chad has become a friend, and one of our favourite things about coming here is chatting with him. He always makes everyone feel welcome. His family runs the kitchen, and they’re equally wonderful.

The food is consistently amazing. As someone with celiac disease, it means so much to have a place where I feel safe eating without worrying.

We’ve celebrated so many wonderful nights here, including a private birthday party, and every experience has been fantastic.The vibe is perfect, and the music is always great. Anglr is one of our absolute favourite spots in the city, and I highly recommend it to everyone.“

Its alot of item which can be without onion garlic on the menu but the person didn't even check with the chef.

“What a gem! We were in the mood for something different and this was it! From the outside, this place is so unassuming but the vibe inside is so chill! We went on a Thursday night and it was packed! This actually made us excited because it was obvious this place was good! I got two tacos, one carne asada and one beef bulgogi and OMG! Both were absolutely flavorful and fresh! The chips were so crunchy and fresh too! The queso was so creamy and perfectly spicy (beware if you’re sensitive to heat because it has a bite). My mom got the bowl and loved it! The ingredients looked super fresh and colorful! The service was spectacular and the food came out pretty fast considering how busy it was! I highly recommend!“

“Delicious vegan Caribbean food in the heart of Kensington Market. Veggie D'light hits the spot for lunch on a weekend. I had their meal with jerk saitan, veggies and basmati/quinoa. I asked about the soup of the day and was promptly offered a taste by the friendly chef. Had the medium soup as well--a delicious rich soup with yams and coconut milk. Now I have a new favorite lunch spot.“

“The Bull BBQ Pit on St. Clair is one of the best BBQ places I’ve visited in Toronto! The food is delicious — especially the brisket and pulled pork — and the portions are generous. “I come up from NYC to eat every few months in Toronto (best food city in the Americas in my view) and Bakerbots is one of my must visit bakeries. Everything tastes amazing and fresh and the customer service is excellent - they asked if they could place a vegan product in the same box with my other pastries. I didn't care as I'm not a vegan but I was impressed that they asked that. The nice young girl also asked what slice I'd like - details that other bakeries do not care about. Easily my favorite bakery in Toronto and better than anything we have in New York.“

“I always come here for breakfast with my wife and our young daughter for Tibetan breakfast. The great thing about Garleek kitchen is that the restaurant offers all of its main meals (dumplings, chow mein, chilli chicken, shapele, etc) right from opening hours at 8 am so we always have some main meals along with the Tibetan breakfast which in of itself is a good and filling proportion. 10/10.“
