“We were taken to Carytown Indian Cuisine last night by our kids. We were so impressed with our experience! The food was amazing. I requested a specially prepared curry vegetable dish, and the chef/owner was happy to create it for me. Several of our party enjoyed tikki masala with chicken. We also enjoyed lentils, cooked to perfection and wonderful chocolate lava cake for dessert. The service was impecable. Our waiters were so attentive and responsive, even though it was a very busy night. The ambience was warm and classy. The chef/owner was so gracious and even visited us at our table. I can't wait to return to CIC.”

“Stella's is our favorite restaurant for special occasions and last night was our anniversary. The waiter and his knowledge of everything on the menu and his recommendations were awesome. We tried new and different things, had cocktails, an appetizer, wine, dinner, and dessert. We knew we would have to-go boxes, but wanted to try a lot of different things and we enjoyed it all. We always leave Stella's full and promising to come back for the next special occasion.”

“I spent New Years Eve here and while the space was amazing, the planning and execution of the event was not. We paid extra for a VIP experience - the food was FANTASTIC! Probably the best thing of the night! The evening included a 90s dress contest, a 90s band and midnight champagne toast....Well, the contest winner was not even announced nor was added to their Instagram - there were 4 pictures posted out of everyone dressed up. Up in the VIP room, there was NO count down or anything - it was 2024 and we didn't even realize it - so much for our special midnight toast in the VIP Lounge! While I didn't know one song the band played, I was assured they were 90s songs. the advertisements should have said ONE STYLE of 90s music.. this event can be great....Just needs some work to it ... especially when people are paying extra!”

From the hostess to the serving staff our interactions were stellar. They were attentive without being intrusive. They anticipated every need and addressed every concern professionally and promptly. The food was outstanding. I got the swellington, my husband the rabbit. Both surprised and delighted us! “We had a delightful experience all around. The dim lighting, candle light, live piano music, and perfect sound level made for a great ambiance. The food was also very good. We started with the baked Brie, then got the salmon (was a special) and the beef bourguignon. All of it was delicious and came in perfectly portioned sizes. The service was fantastic too. The server was helpful and super attentive. They recommended a beautiful wine to go with our meal, and our water glasses were filled throughout the night without having to ask even once. We will certainly be back! I recommend making a reservation as it filled up pretty quickly.”

The chocolate almond croissant from Sub Rosa is the best one I've ever had..period. Also, the ham and cheese croissant and the tart was incredible. We heard about how fast they sell out so we ordered a few days ahead of our trip. I'd recommend doing the same if you want to guarantee you'll get what you want. Seriously, if you find yourself down here, plan to make a stop, you will not be disappointed.”

There is a new manager with pins on his hat, sorry I can’t remember the name, who says he loves a store with a drive threw and it shows. He gave us a few recommendations on other places to eat, and we started to search for an Uber. A few minutes later, the owner, Tysean, opened the door and offered to go back in the kitchen and cook something for us. We couldn’t pass that offer up. We waited for a few minutes, and he brought us out some of the best chicken I’ve eaten in a long time along with some, nicely seasoned potato wedges and hot buttery honey biscuits. Along with some honey mustard dipping sauce and sweet tea to wash it all down, we had an amazing meal. I’ll definitely be back, and you should visit if you are in Richmond.”

“We've been going across town to the Broad Street location for years, but live in Midlothian. We were so happy when they told us they were opening up a sister location in Chesterfield, just 7 minutes from Midlothian! We were NOT disappointed! The place was packed, yet we were seated, offered drinks, asked about ordering, and receiving our food all in a very timely manner. And, just like the other location, the food was sooooo tasty! My apologies to the Broad Street location, but I'll probably eat here more than there.”

“We went to Texas De Brazil for dinner. 6pm. We were greeted promptly and were seated within 2 minutes. We ordered a bottle of the featured wine from Brazil, a very nice blend. It paired very well with our dinner. Meats were served piping hot and when I told the gaucho I like rare, he quickly returned with picanha and flank steak cooked perfectly for me!!! Outstanding service. We also ordered cheesecake for dessert and it was a generous portion. The manager stopped by to check on us and took the time to talk with us about our experience. “Visited Perry's recently with high expectations. The restaurant has great atmosphere. The staff was great, especially our waiter. I was overly impressed with his knowledge, attentiveness, and desire to make our experience the best that he could.Unfortunately there were some problems with the food. 1 steak was completely the wrong cut and size that was ordered. Of 7 of us at the table, 6 felt the steaks were way over salted. Make note that I put extra salt on everything I eat, and I still felt like the salt overwhelmed the expensive Koji filet I ordered. I continued to eat mine, and enjoyed it for what it was. 2 people felt their steaks were overdone compared to what they ordered. Then both said that 10 minutes later it looked like the iron plates had continued to cook the meat and they looked approaching medium well done. I do recognize that all of the food was high quality, but it seems like we had at least 1 person in the kitchen that was well undertrained, and thus caused our issues.3 other things struck me:Many times I will continue to eat bread at the meal, but the remaining bread was removed when the food came out. I choose a smaller steak to eat since there are sides, but when my steak was finished my plate was removed, leaving me nothing to continue eating any sides from. I was surprised that the seafood tower did not have a side of melted butter to dip in, as the delicate flavor lobster and crab can be easily overwhelmed by the robust sauces that came with the appetizer.Despite the issues, I recognize the potential for the restaurant to achieve being a top end choice. So would I return ? Yes. But I am concerned that I would have to be more demanding if similar problems occurred. When I go out, I don't want to have to be that way, because it reduces the enjoyment for my party, and leads to a potentially unpleasant night out for everyone. At this price level, it should be nothing less than perfection.”

“I have lunch at Mosaic at least once a week and the food is usually very good. On Friday night, we took our neighbors there for dinner and I was disappointed. My beef brisket was one of the worst I have had in years. The beef was tough and dry. My wife had the bliss bowl with chicken. It was overflowing the bowl which made it hard to eat and the hummus was fairly tasteless. We will try Mosaic for dinner again, but I believe the restaurant is under new ownership. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.”

“This place is always great. My boyfriend and (very picky) parents love it too. Servers and bartenders are all really nice. Interior reminds me of some NYC restaurants, nice ambience and lighting. Food has been perfect for everyone every time (except I'm upset they took away the jackfruit entree). Great place for anyone to eat - meat eaters or vegans. With that jackfruit platter it was enough for me to have another full meal at home... Last time my boyfriend could not finish his lobster mac and cheese and we were stuffed trying to finish my oysters. Our cats also agreed the lobster mac was delicious. Not too loud, not too quiet. Not only have we dining multiple times, recently I was in a pinch for a cocktail party and found relief. At the very last minute I was able to place a catering order for three signature dishes and they were all crowd favorites! If you live in the neighborhood do yourself a favor and check them out. It's the place to bring your out of town guests and impress them with our neighborhoods offerings!”

“This was some of the best Peruvian food I have had. Everything we had was fantastic. The ceviche mixto is excellent. The beef soup was a hit. The carne asada and chicken. The fried yuca and cilantro rice. Everything was yummy ? I highly recommend eating here if given the opportunity or just go. You definitely won't regret it.”

“We've been going across town to the Broad Street location for years, but live in Midlothian. We were so happy when they told us they were opening up a sister location in Chesterfield, just 7 minutes from Midlothian! We were NOT disappointed! The place was packed, yet we were seated, offered drinks, asked about ordering, and receiving our food all in a very timely manner. And, just like the other location, the food was sooooo tasty! My apologies to the Broad Street location, but I'll probably eat here more than there.”

We were enthusiastically greeted by one of the owners, Marvin & took a seat at the bar. We chatted with him for most of the time , such a nice guy . We had just missed the sunday crowd & live music but the vibes were still good & the playlist they had on definitely had us jammin lol. We ordered some cocktails which were made by the other owner, Bee & they were delicious, perfectly balanced. We decided to split 2 entrees, the Peruvian chicken & per Marvins recommendation , the shrimp & grits. The chicken was big , juicy & full of flavor. The shrimp & grits were soooooooo freakin good im still talking about them 2 days later, i probably had 2 bites left and took it home with me so i could experience the flavor again as a late night snack lol . “Big part of me wants to gripe about paying double digits for three chicken fingers some crinkle cut fries I could make at home and a slice of toast and a soda.But then I look around at all the other places in the area and I realize it’s become normal.The food was hot and fresh, the seasoning on the chicken finger breading was very good in the Texas toast slice was surprisingly pleasant. And of course they’re specialty in-house dipping sauce was up to its normal fireworks.This location had decent numbers of staff and were attempting to pull off a Chick-Fil-A style service model in the drive through but you could tell they were really not used to it.The atmosphere was clean and normal.Vegetarian options: Just Fries or just bread.Dietary restrictions: It’s chicken and potatoes and bread fast food. Fairly simple stuff.
