“Sushi Kashiba will provide you a memorable meal with the freshest fish. The chef are amazing of selecting and preparing amazing nigri sushi with wonderful hot dishes for your enjoyment. The omakasa is a must while a nice glass of sake or wine will pair well with your meal. Highly recommend and will be going back”
“My most favorite sushi restaurant in Seattle! I am always impressed by the fresh ingredients and great service! The presentation of each dish shows the thoughtfulness of the chefs. The knowledge of a long time waiter, Edward, is amazing and appreciated. This restaurant is on the pricey side so I usually go for special occasions, but when I do go, it's worth every penny!”
“Super friendly and accommodating. Was having a small issue with placing an online order, Victor contacted me immediately and made sure everything was correct. 10/10”
“Everything from the service to the food was amazing. Will do the tasting menu next time. Sit at the counter and watch the pasta making. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed every item on the menu we ordered. This place is a must when in Seattle.”
“Everything about this restaurant is fantastic! The owners are hospitable, the service is prompt, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful! We came in on a Friday night with our three month old and the owners made us feel like we were in our own home. They are passionate about food and people, and it shows in every interaction with their guests. Thank you, Delish! ❤️”

“Had a chill time at Ghostfish brewing on a Wednesday evening. Didn't adore the food we tried, but definitely appreciated the variety of diet accommodating options. Beer was gluten free which is a feat for sure.”
“Great environment, great service, great food. Food is a hair pricey, and i was wishing that the wait staff would have paid more attention to table ettiquette for the money... like where our forks/knives pointed on the plate as an indicator that we're done, but c'est la vie. Great experience overall, great wine pairing too!”
“Upbeat, flavorful fun! This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in my whole life! The owner is a friend who really works hard and has a broad vision of the horizons. The food omg melting point and not only creates a wonderful texture but also holds most of the flavour. “One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle; it can be hard to get in but food is always great and the service is warm. The new heated outdoor patio is a lovely extension. Many thoughtful touches, including a dedicated mocktail list. I am gluten avoiding and have never had an issue here; there are many dishes without wheat and some pasta dishes can be swapped to be on a polenta cake base. (They will be honest about which pasta dishes lend themselves well to this.)Dietary restrictions: If you are gluten avoiding, they can still offer many of the pasta dishes with polenta instead. It's a decadent, creamy polenta brick crisped in a pan and usually offered as a side.”
“Came here during seattle restaurant week and took advantage of the great deal! I got the curry vermicelli bowl with tofu and it was very spicy but the kitchen was nice enough to add a bit more coconut milk to make it more mild. The hokkien wok noodles were also spicy but a lot more tolerable for me (I typically can't handle spice very well). The vietnamese coffee creme brulee was yummy and I would love to get it again! Super cute interior with snowboards and nice dim lighting. Great spot for a date night and I like the unique fusion menu”

“As someone missing Mexican food truck cuisine since switching to a full vegan lifestyle, Rojo’s comes the closest to scratching that itch so far. On entering I was happy to see they had plenty of seating and friendly staff. I only had the tacos Al pastor to try with rice+beans and just by appearance alone it was already taking me way back. I could hardly wait that I had to pull over and have a taco on my way home and it was everything I missed about authentic Mexican food truck fare. Will definitely be back but won’t be soon enough!”
“Went here for dinner and loved it. Started with some bone marrow which were very good. The tomahawk steak was juicy and meaty which i wanted. Would definitely come back and glad i found a decent steakhouse in Seattle. #hawaiianyellowtail #tomahawkribeye #smokedbonemarrow”

“Absolutely love this place!! I wish I found this place earlier. It's a cozy little cafe with Korean cafe inspo and their coffee is really good. I enjoyed the cream top.the place does get busy tho so if you are coming to study, it might be packed.”

“Tried the adobada, al pastor, and campechano tacos. I eat a lot of tacos, and will happily ride for hours to try a new place. These are really, really good tacos. Do yourself a favor, try some. Wish they had a larger space with seating.”

“This place is so damned good. Incredibly friendly and thoughtful service, a fun vibe and decor with tons of outdoor (and covered!) seating for those gorgeous days, and the food absolutely knocks you over. Delicious, creative, and high quality. I’ll be a regular for sure.”
“A delicious omakase meal with many items that I've never had before! I've been trying to get a reservation for a while but only recently got a reservation because they disappear so quickly once they are released! It's a bit easier if you have a group of 3 or more and sit at a table but the bar seats go fast. Our meal was a spring menu which included some special spring items such as firefly squid, baby eel, baby sea bream. Chef asked us if we like uni, which is something my husband and I aren't huge fans of, so he gave us an extra piece of otoro instead of a heaping helping of uni! My only slight complaint is that the meal took really long. We had a 7:45 pm reservation, didn't start eating until around 8 pm, and didn't start getting the nigiri until probably 9 pm. There are so many omakase places to try in Seattle so I'm not sure when I'd come again with how hard the reservations were to get, but I'm glad I was able to come!”
“I visited during Seattle Restaurant Week but opted to get the Feast since it included more meat. It was just the right amount of meat for one person, and a plethora of additional accompaniment so the overall value was great! The service was magnificent - not just my primary server, who was efficiently cooking meats for multiple parties at the same time, but the coordination between them all to ensure everyone was taken care of. Meats were cooked well and tasted fantastic. The front dining area is a small space and you're sure to hear some crazy screaming on the street outside, but the food is certainly worth it. I dined alone and had plenty to eat - next time the meal is best shared with at least one other person. I plan to be back again!Dietary restrictions: My server asked about any dietary restrictions and did a great job seeking to understand the best way to modify the meal accordingly”
“Have been here 15 times and always have an amazing time with any type of company I bring. Easily my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Great for intimate situations for brunch or dinner.”

“We went there during Seattle’s restaurant week and we could not be disappointed! The hosts and the whole service was amazing .. and the food really good - the quality and variety of the fish was just perfect.Although we are not dessert people, we decided to try the matcha tiramisu (and what a lovely surprise!!)”

“I truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The only annoyance and it is minor. The bartender kept calling me and everyone. "My love." At first, it was cute and welcoming, but after the 3rd or 4th time. The phrase "lost its meaning. And just became filler words. Other than that, I will gladly return. This place was great ? ?”

“Service is ON POINT !!!! Food is amazing and our waitress is amazing ! We had to bring our little one last min because child care wasn’t available. But they kindly accommodate my little one and gave her some cooked sushi !!! We really appreciate it ! We definitely will come back for a different menu because their menu changes every month ! I recommend anyone coming over to try it if they want an authentic Japanese meal in Seattle !!!”
“Everything!! Well maybe not the licor de hierbas. I’m gallega, A Coruña, and I went to try it out anticipating it was not going to be good or authentic. I have to admit I was very wrong, I loved it! Highly recommend it and surely be back. Thank you Pilar for giving me the flavors of my childhood!”
“Phenomenal food and cocktails! I love their food, they offer so many unique dishes made with fresh ingredients. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. I've been here about half a dozen times and the experience has always been wonderful. I highly recommend ordering the 'Trees Have Standing' cocktail, it's one of my all-time favorite drinks!”
“Fantastic restaurant...when you first walk in you see a rustic but swanky scene and all the chefs cooking right in front of you in the kitchen. We were a bit late for our reservation but they accommodated us quickly. The service was akin to a fine dining restaurant, very hands on and attentive. The food was unique, fresh, tasty, great textures...I was very impressed overall. Lots of fresh cheese and quality ingredients that really made my mouth experience this restaurant in a great way.”
“The best fresh home made delicious Mexican food in the city of Seattle. I recommend going on an empty stomach because it’s so worth to try a bit of everything and take left overs.”
“My wife and I stumbled across this gem by accident and I couldn't be happier we did. Great atmosphere, a deep bar if you're into alcohol, fabulous service, but above all, the butchery. I didn't take a photo of my wife's NY steak, which was excellent, but I did take one of my 9oz coulotte which was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. The crushed potatoes are also not to be missed, cannot recommend this place highly enough!”
“I’ve been here twice and it’s been so great both times. Very happy how the staff sets boundaries for the cats and that they also have an area they can go to if they want alone time (the cats not the staff lol)The kitties are very well behaved and adorable, there’s lots of toys to play with and plenty of comfy places for them to be just piles of sleep.I was worried it would be weird with other people in the room but it was totally fine both times and everyone was really respectful. The second time I came was for a Taylor Swift listening party and it was awesome. I definitely recommend coming here for the cats and coming back because of the staff and vibes.”

“OVERVIEW: This is an ecclectic boutique hotel located in Seattle. Conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown, the Waterfront, Pikes Market & Belltown. While I had a rental car, I found myself walking most places. There's an advantage to this as it allows you to get the feel for the neighborhoods and experience more. I have been to Seattle numerous times, specifically this area as well. However there were glass blowing shops, retail stores, coffee shops and other single-owned businesses that I have otherwise missed when driving the area and due to having to pay closer attention to traffic and less of the scenery. LOCATION: The location is perfect. Located on the Metrolink, within walking distance of downtown, the pier, the waterfront, the space needle, and any coffee shop you coukd want to go to. A convenient location that is extremely walkable and safe during both the daytime and evening hours. INTERIOR: Tastefully brightly colored. Lobby with an easily accessible and friendly front desk. Elevators are adjacent to the lobby. They have a Fitness facility, a small kitchen area, a small bar area, and very comfortable seating in the lobby. I came during Christmas, and it was wonderfully decorated to include reindeer, a tree, and a surprise. Find the elf every night and win a complimentary gift. I won the last night I was here and was extremely thrilled with the cup, hot chocolate, cake pop, and complimentary beverage coupons. This is an encouraging environment in which to have fun with an air hockey table, multiple board games, puzzles, and a Pac-Man video game old school. And yes, I did observe several people over my 4-day stay that did partake in the fun and games. It was a very relaxed environment. PARKING: There are three options for parking. You can use the underground parking which is secure and very convenient. You can park on the outdoor top deck, which I did as well. Or you can choose street parking which I do not advise. Parking is at this time of the review $42 a night. It is well worth it. There is no valet option, but you really don't need it. There is a covered overhang that is more than adequate for four vehicles in case it should be inclement weather by your arrival or departure. When you depart, please keep in mind that it is a left turn only. You are pulling onto a one-way street. LODGING: Upon arrival you receive a spacious room with a queen size bed or two double beds and option of one bathtub or a shower and an air conditioning unit and usually a view of either the city or the monorail. I chose the city and was very pleasantly surprised the rooms were quiet. I did run the air conditioner fan just for white noise and slept like a baby. There is a small chair with an ottoman in the room as well as a very large screen TV and a huge desk. The room was extremely clean. I did not find the usual dust bunnies or hair anywhere within the room or bathroom. COMPLIMENTARY: You receive unlimited free bottled water & coffee. In addition, they have complimentary pineapple infused water, which was quite tasty. They do have additional beverages and snacks for purchase. They offer complimentary umbrellas for use on those inclement weather days. They are colorful and large, making it easier for your visibility. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. I dont say that lightly, I measure this based upon my previous stays at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills Hotel, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Fairmont Brands to mention a few. Service with the front desk was professional, personalized & knowledgeable about the area. While checking you in, they treat you as if they are a concierge. You don't feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you have and make you feel very welcome. They have an "Everything" button on your telephone that was answered by the third ring . . . Every time. CONCLUSION: Will I be back? The question is, WHEN will I be back.”
“This food blew me away! Every single thing I ordered absolutely delicious. I had the grilled lamb, BEST I EVER HAD. Please go here, you won’t be disappointed! Just don’t go late at night. Not the best area, but the person working told me he would bring it out to my car. The area isn’t the best, but I didn’t want to leave any less than a 5-star as their food deserves the best rating!”
“Five Point is just about the nicest dive bar I've ever been to. Food is perfect diner stuff, my go to is the tuna melt with fries and a side of ranch. Perfect stop after a show!”
“Very good Mexican food.....BEST breakfast burritos....all I can say hahaParking: There is plenty of parking at this location on aurora, not sure about other locations but finding parking lot is as easy as pulling up to the building and finding a spit in there free-to-park lot...always a spit availableKid-friendliness: Just like any other restaurant, pretty sure they have a kids menu thoughWheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter and doorways are wide enough for anybody using a wheelchair or a walker.....”
“I had some Sunday ! Great ! Seasoned to the bone , not too much crunchy coating , but just perfect ! Spicy chicken but not too hot ! Will definitely be traveling to this spot !! ?”
“ordered a grilled chicken sandwich via Door Dash. BEST chicken sandwich I've had in ages. I didn't get the mayo I requested, but the sandwich was so good I didn't miss it.”
“A bit pricey, but the food was delicious and the service was friendly, especially considering I was a bit picky. I was going to have the veggie omelette but they couldn't separate the red peppers. So I got the berry banana pancakes and substituted fresh fruit for the hash browns, and a water. I got so full you practically needed a wheelbarrow to carry me out.”
“Food was great! The service however, sucked! Had to get our own food from the counter because the waitress was too busy kissing her boyfriend! Ugh! The food is VERY TASTY and the cook is awesome. Would return but seriously, service SUCKED. Said good bye and waitress said nothing!”
“There's an insidious conspiracy amongst Seattle restaurants to close well before certain segments of food seekers, be they the partiers or working the late shift and clocking out in the early morning, have limited to no options.Albierto's boldly breaks with this tradition and serves a variety of tex mex and Cali Mex comfort classics through the little hours of the early morning when people need somewhere to go after the clubs close or they finish their shift at 5am.The food is solid and filling and well priced and for that we thank Albierto's.”
“Always friendly and the fact that it’s open 24/hrs is great. Pretty quick with orders too which is nice!:)Parking: It shares a plot with a gas station however there are spaces in front of the Starbucks where you can park as well as along the side of the lot on the other side of the gas station along where you enter for the drive thru”
“I came from San Jose CA. exclusively to eat tacos de barbacoa, excellent food, its owners as well as employees, give an excellent service. Thanks La Chingona Taqueria for your excelente service.”
“Food was amazing once again, everything we ordered did not disappoint. The mussels in the fermented bean sauce was our favorite, need to give a slice of bread with this to slurp up all the amazing sauce!!!!!!!!!!!”

“This is a MUST-STOP-SHOP for visitors and locals alike at thePike Place Market! Delicious crumpets with a variety of toppingchoices. A great pick-me-up with their coffee or tea.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices for vegges.Dietary restrictions: Lots of different choices for people with dietary restrictions.Parking: Parking is a little challenging, but not impossible.”
“This was my first time here, and I was torn between the egg sandwich with mushrooms, the frittata, and the veggie toast. The person on register was very helpful and ultimately recommended the veggie toast, which was absolutely delicious.Whoever came up with that toast clearly takes pride in what they do and knows how to bring together flavors for maximum effect. It had an ideal balance of creaminess from the cashew butter, tanginess and earthiness from the fermented carrots and marinated beets, and freshness from the herbs and greens on top.”
“Best Ethiopian food I've had in a while, and everyone is so nice! The food is fresh and even the cheese is made the same day! I'm definitely going to come back here ❤️”
“he fried chicken is absolutely delicious, even reheated later. We live on Whidbey, and I picked up the chicken on my way home from Seattle, and it was still great. What a treat to have a menu where it’s all gluten free. At first I thought $8 seemed expensive for a chicken thigh, but they are huge! Everything tastes like it is made with care from high quality ingredients. We also enjoyed the crispy potatoes and butter mochi. My husband, who has celiac, was in chicken heaven. A few notes: Definitely pre-order. They seem to be busy from right when they open at 4pm. Also it can be hard to find a parking spot in the area so you will want to allow time for that. It’s all worth it though!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free yes”
“Superb food and staff! Excellent cocktail game and I love their Moroccan wines. Brothers Khalid and Aziz are top shelf people and owners. Every time we take guests there for the first time, they love it and often say it was one of their best meals ever! Get the harissa veggie, squid Steak and tenderloin for sure. Great specials always!”
“Nothing but love for a local chicken joint with nothing but love for me and mine. ❤️ fantastic atmosphere, good music, good food! Try the honey butter biscuit fried chicken sandwich, with some hot sauce, your soul will thank you. Much love to all of the staff there, y'all have saved my behind and fed my soul, more than I care to admit.”
“Ludi’s - Filipino restaurant in Seattle WA is one of the best I’ve ever been to. The staff was attentive and accommodating and the hospitality made me feel at home. The food was delicious. Such a friendly owner.”
“Pretty legit Soviet-vibe with amazing music. Great service. Sadly, they don't have their delicious Honey Cake very often. That's my personal favorite. But hey, they still have vodka with bread, so...”
“Stellar service, super tasty food, in a trendy / cute / comfy little spot! Went here for private event for a friends 40th and this spot lives up to all the hype. Will leave you asking "how had I not been here before?!"”
“You gotta be outta your mind if you haven’t tried their ice cream. Best in the PNW. Great flavors and it’s vegan as well! Yep I said the “V” word. I guarantee you won’t find any better ice cream then theirs. I’m hooked! ❤️”
“Wonderful place where meat eaters and vegans can delight in a delicious meal. Great wine section and craft cocktails. Quaint wine shop to bring something home or scoop a gift for a friend on the way to the party. Be sure to try the butter pickles!”
“Sunday brunch visit. Great burgers, excellent fish and chips, super friendly server. Excellent whiskey selection of hard to find bottles, fairly priced. Looking forward to coming back again!”
“Ordered the Oklahoma and Kimchi Smash with Saucy fries. Everything was good but a bit on the salty side. Gotta wash it down with a cold one from Rooftop Brew Co. Would try it again, though!”
“Good pizza for the area, but doesn’t hold up compared to Italian or spots in the north east unfortunately. It’s a solid choice if you need the itch scratched for sure. Wouldn’t recommend the cannolis though. They were pretty stale.”
“Solid informal place to get Mexican food - it was delicious and the portion sizes were big. Seattle is expensive so this is where you’ll get the most bang for your buck around town. Will be back!”
“Great place to hang out with friends and grab a delicious craft cocktail while snacking on some awesome appetizers. Atmosphere is cozy and the bartenders and servers are super kind and friendly.”
“Loved the crunchy lizard roll , samurai spirit and hot as hell. I was not the biggest fan of the lychee martini but the momiji sour always comes through. Atmosphere is amazing and customer service is always great.”
“Sunday brunch visit. Great burgers, excellent fish and chips, super friendly server. Excellent whiskey selection of hard to find bottles, fairly priced. Looking forward to coming back again!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“A nice quality old school drive through, simple burger and shake place that has never failed to meet my expectations. Highly recommendParking: It can be a little tight to park as this place shares parking with the surrounding business, never had an issue though on the weekend”
“Oh wow! How did I just find this place out? Its amazing!!! Everything was simply incredible. The food was perfect. Roti Jala very tasty as a starter. Then we ordered the chicken which was super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. We also ordered the laksa noodles which was heaven and we also got the ribs. Please order the coconut shake and the passion fruit green tea. Wow wow wow! We will be back for my birthday with our friends!”
“Great night at Bangrak. Shout out to bartender Sprite for making my night awesome!!! Great food and great atmosphere. Always love coming in and sitting up at the bar!”
“I have yet to hear heavy metal per the negative reviews, but I have heard a lot of death metal which is 5 stars in itself. And they don't allow kids which is another 5 stars. Great beers, great space.”
“Superb! Had the Bristol bay sockeye melt! Deli folks smoothly & accurately described the makings. I said let's do it standard. Was NOT Disappointed. Recommend them for salmon melt. They know their product well too. Great little shop held me over for a while, stuck locked out of my truck on way to work. Couldn't get stuck on a cooler location!”
“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle. You owe it to yourself to go there at least once in your life, particularly if you're a foodie. You'll try new foods and flavor combinations you never thought would work together, and experience a burst of flavor in every bite you take. A once in a lifetime experience.”
“Just finished a daily lunch special and it was perfect in every way. The chili was delicious and was exactly what I needed on a cold and wet seattle day after working outside. Thank you! I'll be back on a sunny day for a salad!”
“Ok selection of draft beers but they do have a lot of cans and bottles to choose from plus some wine and ciders. The pizza is fine. There are plenty of tables and a nice patio in the back, they also have board games. Prices are fine and the service is good.”
“The best to go coffee around. They even recognize regulars and when they see you car, by the time you hit the window your coffee is ready. Fast, efficient, great coffee.”
“The Chicken Tacos were perfect! Great place to grab a coffee or smoothie in the morn, then get a sandwich for lunch. when you get off, work go back and have a quick dinner with a drink! they have parking!! (tip your servers, they deserve it). Great prices & convenient if you work, play or live in the area.”
“One of the only places to get white coffee in the area and definitely one of the best that I’ve ever had. I was a little wary of the service because of reviews but couldn’t have been happier to have met such a sweet and friendly barista! I absolutely loved my creme de menthe mocha with white coffee. It’ll definitely be my go to whenever I’m on this side of the state!!”
“Food was really good. Unlimited sides are a bonus (although I didn't need extra sides, one meal is plenty of food). The owner is also very nice and helpful.”
“Super legit food. I had the loaded fries, but I'll be back for a sandwich. The cooking technique and the flavors are exactly what I look for in a cheesesteak. Looking forward to coming back. PS, Goofy's may not be open, while Tres' is, so even if the bar's lights aren't particularly bright, try the door. I almost didn't, because the bar was closed, but the kitchen was open. There's a nice big banquette to sit and wait for your order.”
“My favorite downtown lunch spot for over a decade. This place operates at an elite tier of lunch restaurants that should be aspired to. Great food, great prices, they do a few things and do them very well, extremely efficiently.”
“My favorite go-to for coffee, before a long day of work or just a leisure day. Drinks are always good, the baristas are so friendly and patient and it's quick.”
“Daniel was great. He was patient with our ladies (and babies) gathering while we ate drank and socialized. Daniel was kind, recommended delicious desserts (and food) and was a wonderful server. Thanks Joeys.”
Fine Dining
“Just exceptional. Truly. From the moment you enter the gates to the building you feel almost spellbound by the beauty and charm. Then you’re greeted by a genuine, kind welcoming and experience a truly remarkable dining experience. The food is so fresh and clean, the flavor combinations will make you pause in absolute delight. And the wine list is an enchanting journey by itself. Make a reservation and enjoy!”
“Sushi By Scratch in Seattle is quite an experience with each and every bite more amazing than the next. It's like a Speakeasy for sushi. Reservations are hard to get, and you walk up to unmarked doors and ring the bell. If you like sushi, you will never be happy with "belt sushi" ever again. From all the fish, wagyu, caviar and mystery ice cream to the teas, Japanese whiskies and hand-crafted cocktails. All of it pure art, I highly recommend!”
“I have been to Cook Weaver 5 times now and it is amazing every time. They are now a tasting menu and they have a lot of amazing flavors. The vegetarian tasting menu is so savory. This time was the best I have ever had there with lots of mushrooms and nori. The service was so friendly and fun. The murals are gorgeous and the building is a cute little spot. I will continue to come here for special times in my life. Some of the best dishes of my life, definitely on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have tried in the past. The other members of my party raved about the omnivore menu. Pricey but definitely worth every penny. The wine pairing was great too with some really unique choices.”
“Eden Hill was such a a mind blowing experience. I have celiac and they took such good care of me with amazing gluten free food in a group of 4. The shared plates gave us an opportunity to try a bit of everything and when the group ordered items that weren't safe for me they gave me safe versions to try whenever possible. They were truly just so kind and caring about the food and the experience they served up. I can't recommend this place enough! Definitely will be back anytime we're in Seattle.”
“I dined at Lark last night as a first time visitor to Seattle. The food was good. We ordered the bread service, hamachi crudo and the trotter cake to start. Lauren was our server and she guided us through the meal beautifully. I ordered the scallops and my friend ordered the bucatini. We both really enjoyed the dishes but for me, the star was dessert. We had the lemon parfait (which sounds so simple, it was very complex and not a traditional parfait) and the Oaxacan torte.I do want to give Lauren another special shout out because she made us feel so welcomed and offered incredible hospitality. As the AGM of a restaurant myself, she’s definitely a gem. She even took the time to write a list of places we should go and see, all of which we are experiencing today. I really want to tell her thanks for the incredible experience!”
“Very good omakase overall, but it wasn't the best that I've had. I would still absolutely recommend this place, but I think for the price point there could be a few more bites. I think the nigiri is where they shine. Rice was seasoned well and the fish was fresh and well prepared. The hot dishes and side dishes were what left a little to be desired. The service was amazing, chefs are great and the place is pretty neat!”
“SuperB. We dined at 84 Yesler during our visit to Seattle. This restaurant is on top of its game. Excellent ( I mean EXCELLENT ) food, service, atmosphere, decor, all at highest level. (even the bathroom was laboratory clean..!). Quiet impressive that super talented young chef and her team serving [ very successfully] Japanese & Med influenced creations. All with beautiful presentation, very tasty and complimenting flavors, Full bar and good wine selection is available, prices are decent for what it is. All of our selections were excellent, that pasta & lobster dish was out of this world. Also the Apple - cake... heavenly. I have been in many Michelin Star restaurants weren't as this good. Congrats to you all and bravo. Next visit to Seattle, we will come again.”
“I've experienced Teatro ZinZanni in my 20s, 30s, and now in my 40s, and I must say, what a consistently beautiful, unique, and fantastic show. I'm thrilled that they're back in Seattle! The performance was amazing, and the service was excellent, making my night and year. A big thank you to all the performers for putting on such a great show. Bravo! Bravo!”
“Picked up a couple Balikbayan Boxes with wine and juice pairings from my cousins, Aaron & Amber. Everything was PNW sourced, fresh, and generously packed w/so much care and sentiment. I highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back next year for a dine-in experience. Maraming salamat, guys! Mahal kita!♥️”
“We have been to Copine a couple of times and it is a good experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am vegan and they have the chef prepare special courses based on the fresh ingredients they have, which I greatly appreciate. It is a very fine dining experience and my palette is not advanced enough to really appreciate it. The experience is a very fun date night or special occasion idea.”
“This was hands down the best nigiri and kaiseki I've had, even compared to the high end sushi restaurants in Japan it's that good.Dining here feels like I was back in Japan eating sushi at the sushi bars, the table, layout, and size are all the same. And the fish was amazing. Some of my highlights were the smoked fish, smoked krab rice, fatty tuna, and the wagyu beef teriyaki was delicious, very Seattle. It is on the expensive side and hard to get but well worth it if you want some of the best fish in your life.Parking: Hard to find parking on cap hill so bus, train, or Uber if possible.”
“Great personalized service and Japanese Fine Dining experience!!! Love the card Sai prepared! This is the best Omakase experience!!! Also with limited seating for each night, we finally can dine out without fear of Covid! Definitely will visit again!!!”
“I can't even begin to describe the Noir show. It was just that good! I brought my son's girlfriend out for her 21st birthday. We're already planning for the next one. You can see the cast loves what they do. Ps. The rubber band thingy worked out.”
“Fantastic experience at Samara. I’m already looking forward to coming back again. Everything we ate was executed to perfection: cooked to the perfect doneness/temp/texture, flavorful but balanced, perfectly seasoned, just the right portion size, and beautifully presented. 10/10 would recommend.”
“This is my favorite brunch place. I need to try another meal here sometime but brunch is so delicious and the service is superior. I don't eat meat but there are still interesting choices on the menu. I would go here every weekend if it wasn't so difficult to get a reservation in advance.”
“Return visit after an underwhelming experience years ago when they first opened. Much more enjoyable experience this time around. Great rib eye and vegetable sides. Potato dish had too much nutmeg. Service slowed to allow for a slower pace for dinner. I didn't mind it, but keep in mind if you had other plans for the night.”
“Rula and George made my work event dinner so special! They designed the perfect menu, arranged the dining room for my attendees to get the most out of the presentation. Rula kept the courses coming at a perfectly timed pace and everyone loved the food. I am so glad we chose Gorgeous George for our event and can’t wait to go back. One last thing…Rula event sent me home with one of the centerpieces with fresh flowers. So sweet!”
Cheap Eats
“This is a small coffee shop attached to a creative space and has limited seating. Love the celebration of culture here. You will find a menu of Vietnamese coffee creations that aren't super common. We got the cà phê lá dúa (pandan condensed milk) hot. Pretty smooth, very light pandan flavor, and you still taste the dark, roasted coffee bean flavor. And they used this really cool Hermann cup design that hot drinks don't need a cup sleeve.”
“I have been here almost every single morning since I’ve tried this coffee place! I am totally addicted. I’m going to be bringing everyone I know here, it truly is the best and everyone who works here is so genuinely kind and helpful ❤️ also incredibly quick, quality service for the volume of people they can have! I am so happy to have found this place, I get the iced Salty Coffee please do yourself a favor and go here!!!”
“Pretty cool beer hall offering flights, pints, growlers, cans and bottles. Prices are reasonable and they have 48 beers, seltzer, wine, kombucha and ciders on tap. Plus several refrigerators of bottles and cans. I tried a couple flights before settling in on a pint I enjoyed. Parking was challenging, think I circled the bock 5 times... 2 casual restaurant options connected inside.”
“My favorite dessert of all time is the coconut chunk ice cream with an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie! Such an amazing Seattle staple and part of the community. Definitely recommend stoping by!”
“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.”
“These tamales are absolutely fabulous. We bought a whole slew of them for friends and family for Christmas. They made the perfect gift and everybody raved about them. The only thing I will say, is they say they take about an hour to cook but we found longer than that with a pretty intense steam, was what it needed to get the masa dough cooked all the way through. we love the jalapeño and cheese the best but really, you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. The staff is kind and pick up and ordering is pretty simple if you read all the directions. Don’t miss out on those awesome salsas!!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️Was aimlessly wandering SeaTac and stopped by to try a sample…the sweetest woman introduced me to my new favorite coffee. I was nervous about the taste after attempts to choke down dirt water (other mushroom coffee alternatives), these are SO GOOD! Very smooth. The night time tea is also delicious if you like chamomile ☕️”
“The food was delicious! I had the avocado toast (vegan option) and it was the perfect size for a light breakfast. My partner had the egg sandwich and it was good for him too. The London fog tea was great as well!”
“From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt welcomed. The remarkable delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance made our first time a memorable experience. My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JACKSON’S. Overall fantastic… I will be back. ~Shyla S.~”
“Everything here from the food to the service is so amazing. My favorite dish is the pak mor yuan: the rice noodle wrapping is so soft, and the filling is a mixture of pork and wood-ear mushrooms, creating a really nice balance of textures and a burst of flavor with their herb sauce.Pum, the owner, is always so friendly and attentive, and I can tell she takes a lot of pride in her food, which makes me so happy as a customer as well. Thank you so much!!!”
“Great biscuits! We tried the Willie Lee and Che sandwiches - both were quite tasty and filling. The Willie Lee was a good balance of sweet and savory with the berry jam and bacon. We did encounter an issue with the food taking a long time to come out. Initially, we were there to eat in because it didn't look too busy with a few open tables. Unfortunately, we had to change it to a takeout order because it took too long. That part was rough but they may have also been backed up with pickup orders.Solid food in a good location with parking. Worth trying!Follow me on IG for travel content! @drotravels”
“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! The pastries are delicious and the staff is very friendly. There is usually a free seat upstairs where everyone is working on their laptops (so I am assuming they have good wi-fi). The coffee is wonderful! I had a blood orange donut per the recommendation of one of the staff members and it was delicious!”
“Found them on Instragram and asked my American friend to bring a couple of slices to Canada for me. Vancouver doesn't have this type of cake shop...or if they do, I haven't found it yet. Super delicious and unique flavors. Next time I'm in Seattle, I will for sure come. Eating the May seasonals as I type.”
“One of our best finds in Capitol Hill since moving to WA. Footprint Wine Tap offers guests a large selection of incredible wine to enjoy as well as a cozy and intimate setting to enjoy them in. The best Pinot Noir and Merlot I've had in the state of WA has been at Footprint. Ken (the owner) is a phenomenal human, if you have the opportunity to pick his brain about wine I'd take it. This is a small black-owned business, focused on sustainability and connecting with the community. I can't wait to go back!”
“Have been here 15 times and always have an amazing time with any type of company I bring. Easily my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Great for intimate situations for brunch or dinner.”
“We came for dinner tonight and we were greeted with the welcoming staff and their smiles. That set the stage for the evening. We started off with virgin mojito. It was refreshing and tasty. Then we ordered the mojito platter for appetizer which included the yucca fries, tostones and fried plantains. For entrees we had camarones Carmen Miranda, vaca frita and pescado mojito. Every single dish we tried were so perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated and delicious. You can tell that each dish is made with love. The flavors in each dish will remind you of a destination so far away, a culture represented in its food. We finished off our meal with the desserts, quesillo and tres leches. Both were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try the rest of the dishes in their menu. This is a hidden gem. Luam, the owner is an amazing host, he’s the owner. He made sure that we had an unforgettable dining experience.”
“Great wing bar. Friendly staff and strong chicken game. Rotating sauces and a good mix of bar, tables, booths. Buffalo style wing style....just go and try it.Don't think, just do.”
“We visited this place today and must say, the food was amazing, we had the Sushi ? and Sashimi platter, excellent and delicious ? deal. I'll definitely come here next time I am in Seattle.”
“Pretty legit Soviet-vibe with amazing music. Great service. Sadly, they don't have their delicious Honey Cake very often. That's my personal favorite. But hey, they still have vodka with bread, so...”
“Love this place… they are my go to butcher shop, my “I don’t want to cook at home tonight” restaurant and my Sunday morning pastry treat. Cherry on top… they’re just good people.”
“Fun, trendy atmosphere with a different live act every night. Unfortunately, the music was very loud (bordering on too loud) in the front room and not audible in the back. The mushroom pasta was a little too salty for me, but I highly recommend the lasagna, which was light and airy and topped with a thin layer of tomato sauce. The bread pudding and crème brûlée were also great”
“Service is ON POINT !!!!
“Amazing food, myself and all my non-vegetarian friends and family love it! Great cocktail menu, amazing service, cool vibe. If you like great bars you have to check it out.”
“Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful when I wanted to change a regular Kissd pizza with their vegan cheese. Thankful for good vegan/dairy-free pizza options!”
“Absolutely amazing sushi & service! 100% cruelty-free, vegan menu. Can’t wait to come back for more. We live an hour away but it’s worth the drive. Highly recommend!”
“Came here after a show at Showbox market on a Friday. We just wanted drinks and luckily they were doing happy hour. We ordered the mule. It was delicious and because they sat us by the window. we had a beautiful view and service was 10/10!”
“I visited this speakeasy on a Friday night with my husband on recommendation from friends. It is a very small place and mostly seatings are around the bar. Didn’t sound appealing to me but believe me it was fun! I would recommend going in small group of 2 or max 4. I don’t think they accept reservations but we got a table within 10 mins of putting our names. The drinks are amazing! Very flavorful and well made! I loved the dua dua coconut if you are a coffee fan you must try the ca phi tini! Cooling water is also refreshing. In terms of food, we had pho which is made in pho bac downstairs. We also had the tofu rolls and the broccoli cheese dip. My only critic is that the dip came in much later and we were full from the pho so couldn’t do justice with the dip. It was pretty cheesy and heavy. Overall fun time proof being I forgot to click pictures of the drinks ;)”
“Stellar service, super tasty food, in a trendy / cute / comfy little spot! Went here for private event for a friends 40th and this spot lives up to all the hype. Will leave you asking "how had I not been here before?!"”
“Best place in Seattle for steaks. The dungeness Crab Cakes are mouthwatering. Honestly, customer service ,and all the staff made the whole experience " Inefable"Gracias.”
“Great place for some BBQ - tucked away in a little shop they offer some big flavor meals! I got brisket, beans, sausage link, and Mac and everything was awesome - best BBQ in the seattle area”
“We had dinner there on Sunday with family from out of town. Everyone ordered cocktails and different dishes. The food was delicious, the service, excellent. There is even some parking available on the side of the building. We will definitely go back.”
“A well deserved 5/5 stars. Excellent service, great food, ambiance and music are a 10/10. It's a hidden gem, will definitely go back. I recommend the adobo tacos + the seafood tostada (10/10).”
“We had an amazing dinner at a specialty pizza restaurant in Seattle named Sunny Hill. It’s a little hole in the wall that has the best Pizza and appetizers in Washington. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.”
“Good pizza for the area, but doesn’t hold up compared to Italian or spots in the north east unfortunately. It’s a solid choice if you need the itch scratched for sure. Wouldn’t recommend the cannolis though. They were pretty stale.”
“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!”
“What a sandwich is supposed to taste like! Got the Caribbean roast which was unbelievably juicy, a medley of flavors. Wait wasn't too long on a Saturday around 11 AM, great for a quick bite. An absolute must try.”
“Delicious food including some dishes not available at other Seattle Vietnamese restaurants, such as the amazing Pho Sate. As a celiac, I felt safe eating there as the servers were thorough in identifying items that are cooked in the shared fryer and this aren’t safe for celiac eaters. (They mentioned they plan to purchase a separate fryer in a few months so that their many gluten free apps can be eaten by celiacs.)The restaurant was also very kid friendly. We will be back soon!”
“Finally found a place in Seattle that serves Katsu like they best places in Hawaii! We had the cheese katsu with a side order of their curry sauce. The cheese katsu was incredible!! Although over the years the crust has gotten harder. Their curry sauce doesn't taste like any other curry so it's a special treat! If you're like me + love the sesame cabbage salad, they serve a good portion of it. Wished they would bring more sesame seeds to you to dip away but I guess you can't have everything.”
“Such a great neighborhood restaurant - excellent locally-sourced ingredients, rotating menu, friendly service, positive attitudes, relaxed atmosphere. I come alone or with family 2x per month.”
“The best fresh home made delicious Mexican food in the city of Seattle. I recommend going on an empty stomach because it’s so worth to try a bit of everything and take left overs.”
“The fried chicken is the best Asian fried chicken in existence! It's so crunchy, flavorful, and amazing. The ramen I got was mala and black garlic with mala spice both 3/5 spicy. I really think they were good I don't particularly like the numbing feeling in moith”
“The ambience is cozy and dark. The wait wasn't too long on a Saturday. My husband and I tried the lawn bath and the flies toes. Both drinks were delicious. Highly recommend this place.”
“"is there a minimum amount of wings I need to order for $1 wings?""do you have a dollar?"came here on Wednesday for $1 wings and they were great. no minimum, can mix and match any sauces.they also had a fun selection of jello shots including root beer float and french 75.neat spot, definitely feels like a fun local bar”
“Update: This is still one of our favorite vegan restaurants, so we have come back quite a bit. Jackfruit appetizer is still a favorite, and coastal curry is a good dish every time. Khao Soi- spice level still really varies each time. 4/5 Tom Kha- milky lemongrass soup is quite mild. Not too bad, but generally prefer the khao soi more. We also wanted to pair this with noodles. 3/5 Veggie pho- Not a huge fan of the mince fake meat, people accustomed to meat would likely enjoy more. It made the dish quite smokey and meat flavored. Otherwise, the broth had a good depth of flavor, and variety of veggies. Enough for two meals for us. 3/5 Mango sticky rice- the rice was overly sweet, and the rice seemed undercooked with extra chewy bits. Mango was slightly tart (makes sense given its not quite the season). 3/5 Service is always great here.”
“Fun spot, would come back again. I like the cooked dishes and appetizers more than sashimi. Staff is friendly, remember to book ahead for big groups as space is not that big.”
“This place is one of my top 2 favorite Mexican restaurants in Seattle. Lots of items on the menu, I experienced exceptional service, full bar with specialty cocktails. I highly recommend happy hour foods and beverages. It has some outdoor seating for the lucky few on a warm day in Seattle. The place was packed, a hip, cool place to go on Capitol Hill that has I think excellent authentic Mexican food.Vegetarian options: There are numerous vegetarian options. There was no problem getting the chicken on the side for the nachos for my friend who eats meat.”
“We've been three times now. Not just every dish, but every single bite has been a revelation. Feels like a master class in balancing ingredients. Each item on the plate is delicious by itself, and then even better with the others. No two bites are alike. And my lord, the rolls. THE ROLLS. I have eaten in a thousand restaurants by now. To get me this excited about bread??”
“We say goodbye to Seattle. Ending where we started! Delicious authentic Japanese cuisine (gobbled the soba and a few other treats before snapping a picture). Plus a stop for me next door to Hannyatou to say goodbye to my sake sensei, Ritsko!”
“Music was a bit loud, but the food was great. The 4 of us shared chicken kra pow (very good, tangy flavor), red curry chicken (light sweetness, but velvety smooth flavor and spice), pad kee mao (perfect texture on the noodles and well cooked pork; very tasty), grilled calamari, and papaya salad. Will definitely return!Vegetarian options: You can exclude meat”
“Wonderful place where meat eaters and vegans can delight in a delicious meal. Great wine section and craft cocktails. Quaint wine shop to bring something home or scoop a gift for a friend on the way to the party. Be sure to try the butter pickles!”
“Food, drinks, and everything in between is good. The owner Steve is an A+ all around! real Johnny on the spot. bartends, running food and drinks, checking on the customers he does it all! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
“My favorite Thai restaurant! Always order the crispy garlic 'crack' chicken, so good! I moved to Everett and I constantly try to find it at other restaurants and nothing compares to it! Nice ambiance and servers. Worth the drive from Seattle!”
“We dined outside on the last night in their Ballard Avenue location (before their move). Aside from several really loud groups nearby (who always fail to recognize how obnoxiously loud they are to fellow diners) the experience was terrific. We could have stopped after two appetizers (generous pork belly and cauliflower) but plowed forward with the NY strip and Tomahawk pork chop (the $265 Tomahawk steak that could feed four seemed a little much for the two of us). All were excellent. Service was great and attentive. The place is spendy for us out-of-towners but likely right in the groove for upscale locals and expense accounts. We'd go back but order differently. And seriously, when did it become a thing to nick the customer $35 for corkage?”
“European / Aussie neighborhood restaurant feel. Nice to see it surviving in Seattle.Duck flatbread was good. Pastry a little too crunchy but flavors good.Beet salad and asparagus were great. It is expensive.”
“Great Service! Was welcomed immediately by bartender Dawn. Very charming and excellent explaining oyster selections. She kept on top of my orders. The happy hour choice of oyster was beyond what I expected! Big, ytasty. I’m a very picky oyster-ess! St. Louis, Mo. is not known for seafood AT ALL. Expensive and just “blah.” Definitely coming back and recommending to oyster loving friends!”
“By far the freshest and best pita I've had in the U.S. thus far. Every small plate was also bursting with flavor. The smoked & shaved rutabaga w/ pistachio milk, apple & barberries dish had a flavor profile reminiscent of a savory key lime pie and was one of the favorites that we tried on the current menu. Highly recommend”
“Great night at Bangrak. Shout out to bartender Sprite for making my night awesome!!! Great food and great atmosphere. Always love coming in and sitting up at the bar!”
“Had lunch here today with my cousin while I'm in town for a convention. We grew up in Texas so have expectations when trying a new Mexican restaurant and this exceeded them. Started out with an amuse bouche which I'd never had before at a Mexican restaurant. It was a small tortilla topped with beans, a delicious sauce, and two other things I don't quite remember but was so good! We ordered the guacamole with salsa and chips to start. I'm not a big salsa eater but I loved the guacamole, both for flavor and texture. My cousin ordered the carne asada which she let me taste and it was delicious, with very tender meat. I had chicken flautas, which had great texture and flavor. There were also several tvs, so I got to see some of Champions League, which I hadn't expected while traveling.”
“This place is so cute and quaint! It’s small but a great vibe and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I’ve lived in Greenwood for 13 years and never stumbled across this place until recently. It’s a hidden gem. Decent drinks but don’t except to take a gang of people with you. Perfect for a couple! I’ll be back for sure!”
“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.”
“Sarah was fantastic and so patient with our group. We sat and chatted and never felt pressured. She made great suggestions and was very nice. The views were great. Would definitely return.”
“Sat at the bar and got amazing drinks and service!! Loved the vibe. Menu is just dumplings and drinks. Get the “earthly tether” take on an old fashioned. Soooo good. Would come back next time”
“Wow! What an amazing array of authentic dishes. Loved my tea egg and plum juice. The food was so flavorful, spicy, fresh and so tasty! The menu “app” was easy to order from with photos and descriptions, if you weren’t familiar with menu items. Items were well priced as well. This is definitely on my list for every time I come to Seattle!”
“Beautiful restaurant, smaller so make reservations! Delicious food, smells, drinks, the atmosphere was so lovely. The service was impeccable, our waiter was refilling our drinks constantly.”
“This place is pretty good if you're looking for a place with good ambience and decent food, but I wouldn't come here on a casual day because it's quite pricey. I ordered a Penang curry which they served in a coconut (super cute in person and it comes with fresh coconut juice ), pad Thai and fresh rolls. I'm used to Vietnamese spring rolls so I thought the sauce specifically didn't really go well with the rolls. The curry was good (on the spicier side) and the pad Thai was decent.”
“This place is amazing if you visit in person! We ordered once during the pandemic and wasn’t impressed, but decided to give it another try. We were not disappointed! The menu is pretty extensive. We ordered an assortment of skewers (our favorites were the pork belly, beef and fat, and chicken gristle) which were all nicely cooked and had great flavor. We also got a side of cold cucumbers which were refreshing and slightly tart / sweet and the spicy rice noodles. My husband loved the noodles which were very comforting to eat alongside the skewers. Everything tasted very fresh, was served quickly, and decent in portion. We hit $88 and the waitstaff gifted us with a shrimp dish, which was also very yummy. After the meal, staff also gave us two yakult drinks to wash it all down. The service was also great - water and napkins were provided without us having to ask. So glad we decided to stop by! We will definitely be back to try more things!”
“I had a lunch for 6 people brought in for an event I had at my house. They delivered the food and everything was very good. Probably the best falafel I have had. The owners were very helpful with the order and delivery was right on time. Guests were happy and I was happy. I would recommend Shwarma Time Ballard to friends and return there anytime.”
“First time there ! Pretty tasty menus ! Good choices of Japanese beer n sake ! Well known for their grilled meats served on skewers ! Food was delicious ! It’s a must try !!”
“A place where I confidently bring my foreign friends to eat delicious food and enjoy it too. The atmosphere is also good. But the menu name is in Japanese (Bento), which is a bit sad.”
“this is one of the best spots to chill .. depending on what you're craving, they've got great food ... this has become the calmest place for me after work ... food for me: Shepard's pie poutine Olmstead Burger Housemade Meatloaf drink: adult coke (they use the best cherries)”
“Derek was the best! He was unbelievably helpful exposing the menu and giving recommendations. If you’re looking for a date night, girls night or even a place to have a work dinner this is a great option!I’ve come back a few times now and I’m never disappointed”
“Absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance to the staff and food! We ordered the steak which was cooked in front of us and it was delicious. We also had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well. The fries were perfect, crisp and seasoned, with fresh grated cheese on top. The atmosphere especially made the dinner memorable.”
“Went for a birthday dinner, and the service and atmosphere was probably the best I have seen in Seattle. They made sure we are comfortable, and service was very prompt. This place is really unique with its seating near a fountain, red bricked walls and canopy of trees.Only thing which was not perfect was the food, it was great -- just not perfect as everything else. Personally, I think the food was more on the sweeter side and it can be more flavorful.”
“Their soup dumplings and steam Buns are great. All the food was delicious, but be prepared to spend a lot. Wouldn't go again solely based on the cost, but worth going to once.”
“We went there before going to a concert and the food was SO GOOD IT WAS AMAZING. I highly recommend the poke bowl or the chicken yakitori. Their fish was so delicious and their greens were so fresh. Their service was very nice and the place had a very nice chill vibe. LOVE this place absolutely going again!!”
“Randomly stopped in to meet friends. So beyond impressed. Everything was outstanding. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere, and did I mention the service. John was by far the best bartender I have ever met. I mean that in all sincerity. Next time I’m in Seattle I’ll be stopping in !”
“I live in west Seattle where we have a few top quality Italian options. This place is worth driving across town to eat at. The appetizers provide an amazing opening salvo, so don’t skip over them. The entrees are small but top quality. The pasta can’t be beat and finishing with green tea tiramisu is a welcome twist to the old classic. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet. Service is great. This place is on the pricey side but still a good value. I’m looking forward to going back, but reserving this place for special occasions.”
“Great food, tasty drinks, excellent service! Had the caesar salad, peperonata (that sauce was on point!) shared a pizza- great crust and toppings, shared some spaghetti n meatballs…not like what your mama used to make. My old fashioned was perfectly balanced. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Give this place a shot if you haven’t!”
“The bolognese is without a doubt the best my husband and I have ever had. We were in Seattle for a cruise, had some and had some more when we returned from the cruise. To die for!!!”

“I've been coming to Cedars occasionally for the past 4 years now and their service is incredible (probably one of the best in the area). They are quick and attentive. On two occasions, they did mess up my order. However, they quickly owned up to it, remade my order, and sometimes even refunded parts of my order. I genuinely appreciate their service and I know I will be treated right as a customer. Their food is really good too, and it's my go-to spot whenever I crave Indian food. If you are craving Royal Biryanis or Butter Chicken, this spot hits.”
“They have the most amazing coffee!! I got the oatmilk honey latte and my mom got the almond joy mocha. They were both DELICIOUS. Their breakfast sandwiches were good as well. The manager was so friendly. Definitely visit here to pick up a coffee if you’re in the area!”
“We drove to Chopsticks twice from Renton in two weeks! This is how amazing the food and customer service is ☺️ We ordered the Mongolian tofu, green beans and cucumber salad and the owner gave us free hot sour soup when she found out we were first-timers. We eat primarily Asian food and this is the best Chinese vegan food we've ever had! Chopsticks is hard to beat for the flavor, taste, and don't forget, the excellent customer service! The owner is friendly and she was always checking up on us. Please note that the two recent negative reviewers demanded they get free food or else they will post negative reviews everywhere. They ate everything and complained about the flavor? Gimme a break ? They also told the sweet and lovely owner to leave America. Believe the hype! We'll keep driving here from Renton to work our way through their delicious menu ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly”
“Traveling from Arizona, I didn't know what to expect and found this gem right across from Public Market, it blew me away!! The Turkish coffee is absolutely amazing and a must have. Also the baklava is on another level! A must stop for anyone visiting Seattle, the owners are also some of the nicest people I've met.”
“The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable here. We got some coffee and the Blue Nile Combo. The combo had a lot of variety, and the red lentils and green chicken were delicious. Service was really friendly and we will be going back again.”
“Absolutely amazing experience. This is the best spot for central Asian cuisine, it’s delicious. Also, their pizza hits the spot! The service was quick and the food was very well made.We tried their samosas, they had a lot of meat and were very juicy. I recommend everyone try it. ??”
“The atmosphere is really nice and the owner and staff are really awesome! I love this place! The atmosphere is great too! The owner and staff are great! It's my favorite place!”
“What a jewel of a place. Angel’s desserts are delicious creations worthy of the best French pastry shops, prepared with an enthusiasm for the work that I have rarely seen anywhere. Latte was excellent, almond croissant was the best in town so far. If you care about great (not just good) pastries, a real sense of place, and want to support a local business, this is the one. Can’t wait to take delivery of our bûche de Noël.”
“I’ve been coming to the shop for a couple years now. The breakfast egg sandwich and burritos are delicious. The burritos are huge and very filling. Coffee is generally good but not the best I’ve had in Seattle. The shop is beautifully decorated and full of plants. Staff is friendly and welcoming. When there’s a line, wait times can be a few minutes as there’s usually only one person taking orders and making the coffee.I would like to see Nos Nos improve their pastries. The pastries are not enclosed in cases; I’ve had several that were stale even in the morning because they’re uncovered, so I’ve stopped buying them. I have seen some bugs land on the pastries as well. They really should be in cases to preserve quality!”
“Good pizza by the slice, but I wish they would have had a menu with a list of their toppings instead of displaying what they just cooked. I probably should’ve realized that was what was going on but it didn’t explicitly say you could order whatever.”
“I had really really high expectations for this place after so many people telling me that this was the only good pizza spot in Seattle. Maybe that messed up my perspective a little, but I still think that this was some pretty good pizza. There's pretty much always a long line out the door, and getting a table inside will cost you quite a lot of time. We wanted to dine in but after seeing the crowd and the delay in getting orders out, we opted for takeout instead. In total, we probably waited around 25-30 minutes outside before ordering, and an additional 30 minutes to get our pizza.Their menu is quite limited which I appreciate, and we got the pepperoni and peppers pizza. These pizzas are large, but also very thin hence the NY style. The crust itself was the perfect texture - thin and crispy on the bottom to hold all the toppings firmly. It was topped with little pepperonis, sweet chopped peppers, and additional sprinklings. I did feel like there was a little something lacking flavor wise, though I couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was. The flavor of the crust also wasn't entirely up there either. For what it's worth, I will say that this is still really good pizza, especially for an area like Seattle. Service is also really friendly which is always a plus. However, if you're expecting something mindblowing or comparable to New York, you probably won't find that here.”
“The atmosphere when you first walk in gives off very hip and modern vibes. There's minimal decor and low lighting, which is in total contrast to their maximalist website, which is just kind of funny. We started off with cocktails--Tokyo Drifter and Chikorita and the latter was delicious and so unique! Tequila + matcha + coconut is the combination I didn't know I needed in a drink. We both got the set menu (you have to have full table participation anyways..), and both opted for the Dungeness crab rice add-on. The first bite was delicious! A lightly fried (I think) daikon radish with small toppings. This was followed by the chawanmushi with shiitake and stinging nettle, which was a table favorite. Honestly, all of the courses were pretty good, some better than others, but nothing really blew me away. I knew I'd have to write this review the next morning because if I waited much longer I'd probably forget each dish. One thing that clearly stood out, however, was the amount of time between courses. While I wasn't in a hurry to leave, there was a bit of a noticeable lull between courses, especially when we observed tables next to us (who arrived later) getting the same set menu and a bit of a faster pace. It's definitely a relaxed pace and gives you plenty of time to eat and savor the plate! Service was friendly and they explained every dish, but honestly not the most attentive. Would really only come over when the next course was ready, and we had to ask for more water which I certainly don't mind doing, but feel that it would be a non-thing at a restaurant like this. The meal itself was lovely, the ambiance is nice and the bathrooms reminded me of Japanese bathrooms. But for the overall price tag (plus 22% service charge), I'm definitely not going to be back.”
“If you want amzing Birriaqueso Tacos this IS the place to go! I ordered one and could not resist but to order four more! I GIVE IT FIVE STARS ALL DAY A MUST TRY! Dont forget to pair it with a Jarritos!”
“Immortal Joe states that he bought our coffee (Breakfast Blend) via Amazon. He did not buy our coffee. We don't have a breakfast blend and we sell only at our shop.”

“To be honest, this wasn’t for me. I did not enjoy the noodles I had at all. Although the honey chicken wings were probably the best wings I have ever had in my life, they’re really crispy and full of flavor. I would highly recommend them above anything else.”
“We were traveling this weekend and wanted a beer and wine between flights at Seatac. We noticed Salty's was new on the main concourse. We were treated well but the star was Robert. He was kind, cheerful and a joy. The manager was also working the floor checking in on customers, always a nice touch.”
“The food is good but not great. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is stuffy rich person, which is what they are going g for so it works.I think it kind of falls into that bracket at a cheaper price point the place is amazing. At its current price point it is okay.”
“Had the duck confit. It was great but the duck was a bit tough. Flavors were perfect. For dessert we had bread pudding and wow. Just wow. It was perfect. Quite expensive place though.”
“The Met Grill had been my favorite go-to restaurant for the last twenty plus years, but I've grown disillusioned with them --inconsistent service, food, in my opinion, not as good as it used to be, the service charge, etc. (check out other Google reviews for more on all of this) So, I decided to give The George a try before a concert last night. From the gorgeous décor (on par with any fine dining establishment I've been to anywhere) to the fresh and wonderfully prepared food (I especially enjoyed the spring pea soup) to the flawless waitstaff, I have nothing but praise for this restaurant. I especially want to mention Brenda, our server, whose timing was in every way perfect and who made us feel both welcome and at home. She was impeccably professional, warm, and impressively efficient at her job. The grandeur of the space matches the freshness of the food and the service, again, perfect. (The hostess working the check-in station was also on top of her game; although, we obviously interacted with her much less then Brenda.) Looks like I've found a new go-to restaurant.”
“Lovely restaurant with a stunning iconic view of Seattle skyline and marina. Food selection is incredible. Quiet and relaxing environment. Service was great. Only criticism is that I ordered a dish with a gluten free modification, and they brought it to table with the gluten containing ingredient within the center of dish. They did quickly remake it, but in the past they have been so careful with food allergies. Hope to return and eat safely next time.”
“I had friends in town from India and wanted to celebrate them, including one having just completed a huge exam, so made arrangements with the restaurant and they were just the most thoughtful, wonderful hosts. Thoughtful gestures, exceptional food, great cocktails. 12/10 doing this more often. Great restaurant and team. Whether you're having a night out on the town or a casual drop in and catch up, particularly with the open air seating and roof top, put this place on your list!”
“Can speak highly enough about the quality of the sushi and sashimi at Umi. Great sake choices as well. Try the roll with the Hawaii flavor, it has pineapple in it, and they somehow made it work.”
“Can't beat a gorgeous Seattle day on the Elliott's patio with oysters and a bottle of bubbles! All the food here is outstanding. Especially love the mussels and clams. YUMM!”
“Food and service were excellent as always but they turned on the AC when it was already cold outside Why not wait until it's really hot- save the planet and money too The woman on the table put on her park's it was that cold ?”
“Celebrated my bday and it was an exquisite experience. The ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of options available on the menu. From flavorful salads to creative vegetable-based entrees, Purple catered to my dietary preferences without compromising on taste or quality. The wine selection was extensive, offering a variety of choices to complement the meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was impeccable.Overall, my visit to Purple Cafe and Wine Bar surpassed my expectations, leaving me eager to return and indulge in their delectable offerings again.”
“I visited with my new team from work after an educational conference next door. As usual DTF always serve the best Taiwanese/Chinese food. Quality flavor on every bite. Floor is very open and there are tables for small, medium and large crowd. I recommend making a reservation beforehand as it could get packed. It's on a higher price so prepare to pay. I recommend the spicy soupy chicken dumplings, sweet baby ribs, green beans, shrimp wonton soup and cucumber. Not a huge fan of truffled ones, and shrimp and pork dimsum. There's something for everyone for sure.”
“This is one of the best brunches I have had in Seattle. The menu is absolutely amazing and everything looked so good. We had the avocado toast, salmon omelet, two eggs, and the breakfast sandwich and they were all 10/10. The iced oat milk cinnamon latte was also stellar. The cocktail menu is fire.”
“The wait staff were great and the food was fabulous!! Loved the taste and the variety! Fresh vegetables and fresh seafood! We live in Alaska with an abundance of great seafood. Cutters Crab-house did not disappoint and was fabulous!”
“Had such an amazing experience and am SO glad we chose this place to have chowder at this famous market. I'm so glad I took a picture of the food because I want to remember it forever, it was SO GOOD. My family is from the East Coast of Canada, so I am hard to exceed expectations when it comes to chowder. My husband got the New England Chowder and I got the Seafood Bisque. We shared a lemonade and man oh man did it ever hit the spot on the cloudy, rainy, semi-cold day. While we were in line in the rain (it was a long line too) a guy that worked for them gave us a card with instructions, and let us know we could order ahead online and it would be a wait of max 5 minutes, so we did and in the time it took to walk to the pickup window it was ready, like 1.5 minutes. He was also handing out free rain ponchos which was so nice. Highly recommend the option of online order if the line is long. The only downside was trying to find somewhere to sit to eat, it was incredibly busy in the market as it was a Saturday.”

“A well deserved 5/5 stars. Excellent service, great food, ambiance and music are a 10/10. It's a hidden gem, will definitely go back. I recommend the adobo tacos + the seafood tostada (10/10).”
“Newish place - great ambiance! Love the bar area. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Happy Hour is a must! Cocktails were great, good wine list, and food was very tasty. Great local seafood, ingredients and flavors. Can't wait to go back!”
“great value, super yummy food - highly recommend! The workers are super friendly and the self serve bar was easy/fast. I stopped by here during my trip to Seattle and was so happy I did! We ended up spending only about $17 for 12 peices total. I really wish this restaurant had more locations!!”
“Had a fantastic breakfast at Sunrise. The staff is very efficient in seating and order intake. The scramble came out warm and delicious. I ate the entire thing! It specializes in simple and traditional breakfast offerings. A nice break from fancier area venues. And a great value!”
“The food is all very good. I especially liked the seared salmon belly. The rice is an amazing texture. The cashier/waitress also bagged up my food for me to take home. I always find this extra level of service to be nice. I look forward to coming back in a few months and giving a better review. My drink could’ve come out a bit quicker than it did. I waited for water and my tea for, maybe just under 10 minutes. My appetizer also came out after three of my Sushi courses. Maybe they don’t do coursing, but that was not communicated. It also seemed as though the staff they had was not familiar with the full menu. They were not able to make the taiyaki ice cream dessert for me because their main chef was not present, and no one was trained on how to make it. I think these are the kind of things that can be expected from a new restaurant. I look forward to coming back once again when I feel as though they’ve had adequate time to smooth out the bumps. As other people have pointed out the pricing is also quite good for what you get.”
“Everyone was super friendly from the moment we walked in. Everything we tried was delicious- martini, smoked fish mouse, liver pate, clams, salad, panna cotta. The space truly reminds me of Paris. It doesn't look like anything else in Seattle. I will say, since it's so small inside, the tables are sort of close together and it was a little loud. Will go back anyways! Food is more like heavy snacking. Hard to get a full dinner unless you order almost all items.”
“Every dish we had was impeccable! My favorite was the Uni Spaghetti with Salmon roe. My husband’s favorite was the Lamb with Salsa Verde, but honestly you can’t go wrong. Alanna’s service was perfect, she had the best wine pairings and suggestions. Can’t wait to come again!”
“We've been twice and both times were wowed by the food and the staff. The spicy vodka pasta the first time and the margherita pizza the second time. Definitely will be back!”
“I visited Golden Roosters with my kids today and ordered the fried soy sauce garlic chicken and teriyaki chicken sandwiches. I was so surprised and it was so delicious! It tastes like authentic Korean fried chicken and was so crispy and juicy. The coleslaw salad was also really good, and the atmosphere and the service of the staff were very good. ?”
“One of those secret places that probably won’t be a secret for much longer. The food is authentic, delicious, and well-priced, the staff is family-owned, warm, and hardworking, and the interior is welcoming and generous (I especially appreciated the tea & water station with the cute mugs).Come before this place gets a lot more popular; the fact that it’s on Aurora just adds to its “speak easy restaurant” charm.”
“Tijuana tacos straight from San Diego made by an awesome up and coming seattle chef. Fresh ingredients, large portions and made extremely fast. Currently enjoying the beautiful capital hill location at Captain Blacks. Pro tip order via Toast and pick it up, don't pay the doordash fee and grab a drink while you wait and even with a great tip you still save money and support small local businesses.”
“Boyfriend took me here. He absolutely loves Vietnamese food (he has spent some time there). I had a sandwich that was chock full of veggies and had so many layered tasted I was so pleasantly delighted. Very fresh ingredients and well made. Looking forward to coming back.”
“Got 2 tenders (1 hot, 1 medium) with fries and slaw for delivery. Tenders were a really good size, and both hot and medium were tasty, though I think I'm leaning more toward the hot as my preference. Fries were the crinkle cut kind, like you get in the frozen section of the grocery store. Kale slaw was really good. I had expected the tenders to be covered in sauce for some reason, but they were covered in powder, like Cheeto dust. They do come with a house sauce that's pretty good. Overall, I liked it and would order again next time I'm craving fried chicken.”
“This is a review of the M2M food court: Bon. Stop by Bon in the m2m food court for some pretty good Korean and Asian food eats in cap hill. Very casual, food court, with average prices in Seattle for Asian foods. I really liked the jajangmyeon and cheese katsu. Food I got the jajangmyeon and overall I liked the flavor of the sauce and the noodles were good and chewy. The sauce had kind of a smoky flavor to it that I haven't noticed at other jjm spots. Only thing I complain about is the small portion size. My friends ordered cheese katsu, cheese katsu don, curry katsu, miso ramen, and takoyaki. Everyone liked their food and would come again if in the area for a quick bite. The cheese katsu was better than the cheese katsu don in my opinion. Atmosphere Open food court that is a decent size but nothing too big like a mall sized food court. Casual and nothing fancy inside. The noise level is not too loud. Pricing Food prices were average for Asian comfort food eats in Seattle. Price was decent for the taste and quantity of food. Service Everything is self serve. Order food at the kiosk and then pick up when you number comes up on the screen. Drop off trays near front. Other Located on the second floor of m2m mart! Signs pointing out the stairs to get up there are pretty clear since right by entrance of the mart. They are closed 2:30pm-4:00pm for break and also ALL DAY Sunday.”
“I got Paneer burger which was so delicious, beautifully presented, and tasted very fresh. Paneer has amazing flavor and crunch. Masala fries were good but has strong seasoning.”
