“One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle; it can be hard to get in but food is always great and the service is warm. The new heated outdoor patio is a lovely extension. Many thoughtful touches, including a dedicated mocktail list. I am gluten avoiding and have never had an issue here; there are many dishes without wheat and some pasta dishes can be swapped to be on a polenta cake base. (They will be honest about which pasta dishes lend themselves well to this.)Dietary restrictions: If you are gluten avoiding, they can still offer many of the pasta dishes with polenta instead. It's a decadent, creamy polenta brick crisped in a pan and usually offered as a side.”

I got the curry vermicelli bowl with tofu and it was very spicy but the kitchen was nice enough to add a bit more coconut milk to make it more mild. The hokkien wok noodles were also spicy but a lot more tolerable for me (I typically can't handle spice very well). The vietnamese coffee creme brulee was yummy and I would love to get it again! Super cute interior with snowboards and nice dim lighting. Great spot for a date night and I like the unique fusion menu”

“As someone missing Mexican food truck cuisine since switching to a full vegan lifestyle, Rojo’s comes the closest to scratching that itch so far. On entering I was happy to see they had plenty of seating and friendly staff. I only had the tacos Al pastor to try with rice+beans and just by appearance alone it was already taking me way back. I could hardly wait that I had to pull over and have a taco on my way home and it was everything I missed about authentic Mexican food truck fare. Will definitely be back but won’t be soon enough!”

“A delicious omakase meal with many items that I've never had before! I've been trying to get a reservation for a while but only recently got a reservation because they disappear so quickly once they are released! It's a bit easier if you have a group of 3 or more and sit at a table but the bar seats go fast. Our meal was a spring menu which included some special spring items such as firefly squid, baby eel, baby sea bream. Chef asked us if we like uni, which is something my husband and I aren't huge fans of, so he gave us an extra piece of otoro instead of a heaping helping of uni! My only slight complaint is that the meal took really long. We had a 7:45 pm reservation, didn't start eating until around 8 pm, and didn't start getting the nigiri until probably 9 pm. There are so many omakase places to try in Seattle so I'm not sure when I'd come again with how hard the reservations were to get, but I'm glad I was able to come!”

“I visited during Seattle Restaurant Week but opted to get the Feast since it included more meat. It was just the right amount of meat for one person, and a plethora of additional accompaniment so the overall value was great! The service was magnificent - not just my primary server, who was efficiently cooking meats for multiple parties at the same time, but the coordination between them all to ensure everyone was taken care of. Meats were cooked well and tasted fantastic. The front dining area is a small space and you're sure to hear some crazy screaming on the street outside, but the food is certainly worth it. I dined alone and had plenty to eat - next time the meal is best shared with at least one other person. I plan to be back again!Dietary restrictions: My server asked about any dietary restrictions and did a great job seeking to understand the best way to modify the meal accordingly”

“OVERVIEW: This is an ecclectic boutique hotel located in Seattle. Conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown, the Waterfront, Pikes Market & Belltown. While I had a rental car, I found myself walking most places. There's an advantage to this as it allows you to get the feel for the neighborhoods and experience more. I have been to Seattle numerous times, specifically this area as well. However there were glass blowing shops, retail stores, coffee shops and other single-owned businesses that I have otherwise missed when driving the area and due to having to pay closer attention to traffic and less of the scenery. LOCATION: The location is perfect. Located on the Metrolink, within walking distance of downtown, the pier, the waterfront, the space needle, and any coffee shop you coukd want to go to. A convenient location that is extremely walkable and safe during both the daytime and evening hours. INTERIOR: Tastefully brightly colored. Lobby with an easily accessible and friendly front desk. Elevators are adjacent to the lobby. They have a Fitness facility, a small kitchen area, a small bar area, and very comfortable seating in the lobby. I came during Christmas, and it was wonderfully decorated to include reindeer, a tree, and a surprise. Find the elf every night and win a complimentary gift. I won the last night I was here and was extremely thrilled with the cup, hot chocolate, cake pop, and complimentary beverage coupons. This is an encouraging environment in which to have fun with an air hockey table, multiple board games, puzzles, and a Pac-Man video game old school. And yes, I did observe several people over my 4-day stay that did partake in the fun and games. It was a very relaxed environment. PARKING: There are three options for parking. You can use the underground parking which is secure and very convenient. You can park on the outdoor top deck, which I did as well. Or you can choose street parking which I do not advise. Parking is at this time of the review $42 a night. It is well worth it. There is no valet option, but you really don't need it. There is a covered overhang that is more than adequate for four vehicles in case it should be inclement weather by your arrival or departure. When you depart, please keep in mind that it is a left turn only. You are pulling onto a one-way street. LODGING: Upon arrival you receive a spacious room with a queen size bed or two double beds and option of one bathtub or a shower and an air conditioning unit and usually a view of either the city or the monorail. I chose the city and was very pleasantly surprised the rooms were quiet. I did run the air conditioner fan just for white noise and slept like a baby. There is a small chair with an ottoman in the room as well as a very large screen TV and a huge desk. The room was extremely clean. I did not find the usual dust bunnies or hair anywhere within the room or bathroom. COMPLIMENTARY: You receive unlimited free bottled water & coffee. In addition, they have complimentary pineapple infused water, which was quite tasty. They do have additional beverages and snacks for purchase. They offer complimentary umbrellas for use on those inclement weather days. They are colorful and large, making it easier for your visibility. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. I dont say that lightly, I measure this based upon my previous stays at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills Hotel, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Fairmont Brands to mention a few. Service with the front desk was professional, personalized & knowledgeable about the area. While checking you in, they treat you as if they are a concierge. You don't feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you have and make you feel very welcome. They have an "Everything" button on your telephone that was answered by the third ring . . . Every time. CONCLUSION: Will I be back? The question is, WHEN will I be back.”

This time was the best I have ever had there with lots of mushrooms and nori. The service was so friendly and fun. The murals are gorgeous and the building is a cute little spot. I will continue to come here for special times in my life. Some of the best dishes of my life, definitely on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have tried in the past. The other members of my party raved about the omnivore menu. Pricey but definitely worth every penny. The wine pairing was great too with some really unique choices.”

Lauren was our server and she guided us through the meal beautifully. I ordered the scallops and my friend ordered the bucatini. We both really enjoyed the dishes but for me, the star was dessert. We had the lemon parfait (which sounds so simple, it was very complex and not a traditional parfait) and the Oaxacan torte.I do want to give Lauren another special shout out because she made us feel so welcomed and offered incredible hospitality. As the AGM of a restaurant myself, she’s definitely a gem. She even took the time to write a list of places we should go and see, all of which we are experiencing today. And they used this really cool Hermann cup design that hot drinks don't need a cup sleeve.”

The pastries are not enclosed in cases; I’ve had several that were stale even in the morning because they’re uncovered, so I’ve stopped buying them. I have seen some bugs land on the pastries as well. They really should be in cases to preserve quality!”

“I had really really high expectations for this place after so many people telling me that this was the only good pizza spot in Seattle. Maybe that messed up my perspective a little, but I still think that this was some pretty good pizza. There's pretty much always a long line out the door, and getting a table inside will cost you quite a lot of time. We wanted to dine in but after seeing the crowd and the delay in getting orders out, we opted for takeout instead. In total, we probably waited around 25-30 minutes outside before ordering, and an additional 30 minutes to get our pizza.Their menu is quite limited which I appreciate, and we got the pepperoni and peppers pizza. These pizzas are large, but also very thin hence the NY style. The crust itself was the perfect texture - thin and crispy on the bottom to hold all the toppings firmly. It was topped with little pepperonis, sweet chopped peppers, and additional sprinklings. I did feel like there was a little something lacking flavor wise, though I couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was. The flavor of the crust also wasn't entirely up there either. For what it's worth, I will say that this is still really good pizza, especially for an area like Seattle. Service is also really friendly which is always a plus. However, if you're expecting something mindblowing or comparable to New York, you probably won't find that here.”

“The atmosphere when you first walk in gives off very hip and modern vibes. There's minimal decor and low lighting, which is in total contrast to their maximalist website, which is just kind of funny. We started off with cocktails--Tokyo Drifter and Chikorita and the latter was delicious and so unique! Tequila + matcha + coconut is the combination I didn't know I needed in a drink. We both got the set menu (you have to have full table participation anyways..), and both opted for the Dungeness crab rice add-on. The first bite was delicious! A lightly fried (I think) daikon radish with small toppings. This was followed by the chawanmushi with shiitake and stinging nettle, which was a table favorite. Honestly, all of the courses were pretty good, some better than others, but nothing really blew me away. I knew I'd have to write this review the next morning because if I waited much longer I'd probably forget each dish. One thing that clearly stood out, however, was the amount of time between courses. While I wasn't in a hurry to leave, there was a bit of a noticeable lull between courses, especially when we observed tables next to us (who arrived later) getting the same set menu and a bit of a faster pace. It's definitely a relaxed pace and gives you plenty of time to eat and savor the plate! Service was friendly and they explained every dish, but honestly not the most attentive. Would really only come over when the next course was ready, and we had to ask for more water which I certainly don't mind doing, but feel that it would be a non-thing at a restaurant like this. The meal itself was lovely, the ambiance is nice and the bathrooms reminded me of Japanese bathrooms. But for the overall price tag (plus 22% service charge), I'm definitely not going to be back.”

She was impeccably professional, warm, and impressively efficient at her job. The grandeur of the space matches the freshness of the food and the service, again, perfect. (The hostess working the check-in station was also on top of her game; although, we obviously interacted with her much less then Brenda.) Looks like I've found a new go-to restaurant.”

“Got 2 tenders (1 hot, 1 medium) with fries and slaw for delivery. Tenders were a really good size, and both hot and medium were tasty, though I think I'm leaning more toward the hot as my preference. Fries were the crinkle cut kind, like you get in the frozen section of the grocery store. Kale slaw was really good. I had expected the tenders to be covered in sauce for some reason, but they were covered in powder, like Cheeto dust. They do come with a house sauce that's pretty good. Overall, I liked it and would order again next time I'm craving fried chicken.”

“This is a review of the M2M food court: Bon. Stop by Bon in the m2m food court for some pretty good Korean and Asian food eats in cap hill. Very casual, food court, with average prices in Seattle for Asian foods. I really liked the jajangmyeon and cheese katsu. Food I got the jajangmyeon and overall I liked the flavor of the sauce and the noodles were good and chewy. The sauce had kind of a smoky flavor to it that I haven't noticed at other jjm spots. Only thing I complain about is the small portion size. My friends ordered cheese katsu, cheese katsu don, curry katsu, miso ramen, and takoyaki. Everyone liked their food and would come again if in the area for a quick bite. The cheese katsu was better than the cheese katsu don in my opinion. Atmosphere Open food court that is a decent size but nothing too big like a mall sized food court. Casual and nothing fancy inside. The noise level is not too loud. Pricing Food prices were average for Asian comfort food eats in Seattle. Price was decent for the taste and quantity of food. Service Everything is self serve. Order food at the kiosk and then pick up when you number comes up on the screen. Drop off trays near front. Other Located on the second floor of m2m mart! Signs pointing out the stairs to get up there are pretty clear since right by entrance of the mart. They are closed 2:30pm-4:00pm for break and also ALL DAY Sunday.”

“I got Paneer burger which was so delicious, beautifully presented, and tasted very fresh. Paneer has amazing flavor and crunch. Masala fries were good but has strong seasoning.”
