“I was pretty impressed. We always get dominos Philly steak, today we got papa John's because of the deal, it was so much better, so addicting. I was blown away. At first I thought the steak was sausage, but it was not. It tastes more real than dominos and the ranch sauce was super good. It was a great pizza. Will be back.“

There was a customer whose online order never came through, who was understandably upset, but was taking it out on these young men. They handled it with compassion and patience. I was so impressed with their grace under fire.“

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“Y’all have completely screwed up what was always great, fast service. Get rid of the stupid “app” line and go back to a two line drive-thru. The “app” line usually has zero cars in it and the normal line is backed through the parking lot. Not only is that making it take forever, but your order takers are trying to go as fast as they can to make up for the line and entering orders wrong. He read it back and it was so jacked up, it’s unbelievable, so we went through it again. When we got our food (and receipt), we were charged for an extra drink AND the sandwich had the wrong cheese on it.“

They're always super nice and the food is always good, except for the fries!

The fries have tasted nasty the last three times I've gotten them. I've looked at them and they're not burnt, and I don't see a green tint on them, but they taste old and very earthy. I don't know if they just got a bad batch of potatoes in or what but I haven't been able to eat my fries for these past few times“

“We were in Chattanooga and my wife wanted a Hardee's biscuit. It was a little after 11am so we hit up the East Ridge location. My wife's order was a custom one but they nailed it and had our food to us quickly. Everything tasted fresh and great, plus it was good and hot which surprised me since they were about to stop serving breakfast.“

“"A team" Go to Chic filet and you'll see one ❤️. I marvel every time I witness what it is that they do that sets them apart in our everyday world full of chaos. They seem to have the secret sauce when it comes to, well-- everything. No, not their polonisian (but it's good!). Their intentionality, their STANDARD, their people, and their people's commitment to their standard is truly worthy of imitation. But there are few others. It's no surprise to me now WHY their line wraps around their buildings EVERYDAY. But it moves quickly! 🚗💨 Yes, their chicken is good but an "everyday" visit for lunch just doesn't have the same feel at other places -- EVERYday. Chic filet is consistent. Go! You will see agreement IN ACTION between their people and Chic filet's standard that dictates that smooth flow of service for you every time. In contrast, the spirit of our now 'severed world' dictates that people act according to their "rights". But actually "rights" must be rooted in WHAT is RIGHT because RIGHT HAS A STANDARD. Just like at Chick-fil-A a person can't just do whatever he or she FEELS is right (to them) or the flow is sure to be compromised -- for the whole team! 😔 So thank you Chick-fil-A for being such a wonderful example ❤️. Because the real team is HUMANITY which is you and me.“

I ordered a double Frisco burger and from the crispy edges on the burger that you can tell was better then your average fast food patty. It seemed like fresh ingredients and toppings. I called and requested a modifier to my order that was not available through the app and spoke to management directly he was a pleasure to speak with and as stated best one I've had in years from here! “I'm a 1 star for a petty situation. I asked the guy at the order machine about the empanadas if I can get 2 chocolate empanadas and he asked someone and then he told me I could. I do not like Caramel so they agreed I could get the 2 chocolate, I get to the window and pay my money and grabbed my sack only to get home and have 1 chocolate and 1 Caramel that mad me mad because I asked before paying so they gave me what they wanted. The empanadas were horrible, hard and tasted like paper. I called back 3 times and a machine came on so I guess they don't answer the phone at night around 1am. They just lost a customer over $3.27 lie.“

“This little wing place is off the beaten path. But don’t let that fool ya! They were busy with everyone walking in and carrying out food. The wings are some of the best we have had. It’s in a little plaza. The prices are low and the portions are large? You definitely get your moneys worth! If you’re in Chattanooga you have to give them a try I don’t think you will be disappointed! H y also have other items like friend rice, shrimp baskets and Philly cheese steak and fish baskets.“

“Each morning I stop by the drive through to grab my coffee (Frappe) and sweet tea for the day. I work at the urgent care near by so it’s convenient. Each day I am greeted by this wonderful lady with the happiest voice and most positive energy. She completes my order quickly and without any issues. And she is so fast. She doesn’t know who I am and I know nothing about her. But I cannot thank her enough for just being her sweet cheerful self every morning. I go into work thinking if she can be that happy and positive so can I!!! So if you’re in the Ooltewah location please go by and get a blessing from Herta. She’s definitely been a blessing to me. I ordered the three Krystal burgers with bacon and cheese combo, and it absolutely did not disappoint. That classic smash-burger flavor, the perfect caramelized edge on the meat, the onions, the right amount of fat — everything was perfectly balanced.

And the fries? Definitely above average for fast-food fries.“
