“Quite possibly the worst bathroom in Seattle. Gives the underground tour a run for its money but atmosphere and service is absolutely A1. Best Guinness pour in seattle(they have an award confirming) and great vibes. Oxymoronic given the bathroom rating, but try their chili. Delicious.“

“As bar food goes, this place ranks on top. Finding anything in Seattle that isn't over priced is difficult. Good fried seafood at a great price in a small neighborhood bar.“

“So friendly and accommodating and the absolute best “bar” food I’ve ever had. The Bird chicken burger was phenomenal and the pork belly tacos were the best I’ve ever had. I will be coming back for sure!!“

“This is clearly a place the locals go. Many people seemed to know each other, and was pretty full by 6pm on Friday night. The staff were super friendly and the food was good. Nice selection of beers (NA options as well). You have to order at the bar (not a big deal) and depending on how busy it is you might have to go back up for other rounds, but that's also not a big deal in my book. I'd definitely come back here again!“

“If you only hit one spot in Seattle: go here. The pelmeni will send you to heaven and the owner is warm and welcoming. Turgenev vibes.“

“I love this cozy bar! Beautiful setting, great trivia, a really social vibe, and flattering bathroom light (crucial.) However, last time we were here, servers/bartenders kept coming over and pestering us to order more food and drinks––everyone had drinks and several bought entrees during the 1.5 hours we were there. The only person in our group who didn't buy anything suffers from severe food allergies and cannot eat out. It felt really weird and odd to be constantly pestered to buy more things––I know they are experiencing some financial difficulties, but this made us uncomfortable/limited the welcoming vibe we usually encounter here.“
“TL;DR Large selection of unique Belgian beers in a relaxing environment. A departure from what you’ll typically find in the neighborhood.
Great beer. Great service. Great ambiance. I’ve been stopping by here after work the past few weeks to bug the owner and learn more about (what I now know as of reading this listing to be selectively) Belgian beer. The owner is nice, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. This bar, much unlike the rest of its Olive Way counterparts, is a great place to relax and wind down after a long day. If you want a laid-back crash course on Belgian beer this is your spot.“

“Gosh we love this place so much. We reserved the back room for our engagement party and it was free (or VERY cheap? I can’t remember) as long as we bought drinks there. The vibe is relaxed, the decor is great, the outdoor patio is our favorite for summer and fall hang outs, and the bartenders are so kind and friendly. They even allow dogs!“

“Love this place!!! It’s a great neighborhood pub with everything you’d want—GREAT staff (Bekkah, Ellie, and Joe are big reasons why we keep coming back), fun trivia nights, karaoke, and special events about once per month. Wide variety of rotating taps, liquor, wine, hard seltzers, and clever Jell-O shot creations. Brunch on weekends and tasty apps/ lunch/ dinner fare with a kitchen that’s open late. This is a place where everybody knows your name. We’ll be back to see our people soon 🤩“

“This place is kool! The “strongest drink” apparently changes based on your bartender, but I look forward to trying another bartender’s “strongest drink” because the one I had on 6/3/26 was fantastic! We shared two and were blazed. The decor in this place is kool, and it is dark and cozy. Can’t wait to visit Seattle again and go back. Also, the bartender we had that night took good care of us. He made sure we had water and explained the bill the second time since it was clear that we were lit from the first “dose” lol.“

“My friend and I popped in for a drink and some fries. The bartenders were super friendly and helpful and drinks were delicious. Fries were crispy and hot.
The vibe inside is relaxed and it was nice to see a nice variety of folks out and about“

“It’s a fixture of the neighborhood. You can go for a burger and beers to get the standard pub experience, but they also have much more than that. Their rotating menu is truly fantastic, from high end appetizers to fresh pasta to comfort food. It’s much higher quality food than I’d usually expect from a corner pub. I personally am not a fan of the live music because it makes it hard to have a conversation, so I prefer not to go on Fri/Sat evenings. But if you’re into that sort of thing it’s a good vibe.“

“We came here for lunch one day - I was especially excited to try their tuna melt and it did not disappoint. It has a kick and the bread was toasted perfectly. Absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed their burger and chips. Really cozy spot, good drinks, would be great to watch a game and enjoy some food.“

“Beer by the ounce. Anytime I got tired of a beer choice, I could pour it out, rinse my glass, and pour a better decision. I felt it very odd for them asking for 18-25% tip. TIPS stands for To Insure Prompt Service. You are the server. Starbucks baristas provide more service. Do not feel compelled to Tip. Its just a guy at a counter that rings you up. Positive side, many choices of IPA, cider, wine, sour, and seasonal. Extremely dog friendly. Got a little tipsy.“

“Nice spot. Close to everything. The bar tender was friendly. The beers were actually really good! I loved the laid back/ dads garage theme for the brewery.
Locals were there watching basketball when we stopped in. Seems like a fun neighbourhood hangout that tourists can also pop in and out of.“

“One of those places you quickly want to go back to and bring all your friends. The vibes are immaculate and the servers were so fun and kind. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding and writhing one bite I demanded everyone else pause and take a bite because it was SINFULLY good. I am visiting from Texas and will be dreaming of this dessert.“

“How many places can you say you've frequented for 20 years. Well, I've come to 74th Street Ale House since I moved to Seattle back in 2000. My love for this place started with a weekly trek to have the Reuban Sandwich and I'd have a Snakebite to drink.
After a decade my taste changed and I evolved to some of the best iced tea in Seattle and the blue cheese burger with the grilled onions and bell peppers. On top of the great menu they have weekly specials and the homemade soups and gumbo are fantastic.
Great place to meet up with friends and have a meal and drink some beers although the do have a full bar too. Mostly a neighborhood place with lots of locals and the staff know more of the regulars as they've worked here for a few decades too.
I highly recommend 74th Street Ale House and BTW I just came back from there and had the Gumbo, a Guinness and chased it down with a iced tea to boot.“

“I assume this is a well known watering hole, but I stopped in while I was waiting for a friend to finish up an appointment. The vibe was very relaxing, with a lot of locals just chilling. My drink was strong and reasonably priced, and I was able to hang out on my own and read while absorbing the atmosphere. Service was great! Decorations and furnishings were cute, and the bathrooms were very clean… As I get older in life, this means more to me than you can imagine.“
