“Stopped at another Triple D place. Comet's Cafe is in downtown Milwaukee. If you weren't looking for it, you might miss it. For drinks, we ordered the East Side of Manhattan and the Sage thyme daiquiri. The drinks were nice and strong. We shared a Comet club on sourdough, fries, and a side of bacon. The sandwich was just a sandwich, but we really liked the fries and bacon. Our server was nice and attentive.“

“It's one of my favorite 🇲🇽 restaurants in town. Every dish I've had there has been delicious. The staff are very friendly. Today's chile rellanos were a bit different than ice had at other places, smothered in a tomatoe based sauce with peppers, celery, onions, and tomatoes. Wonderful combo. They gave me a complimentary steak tostada because there was only one rellano instead of two. Their large horchatas are massive! On some lunch days, musicians will come in and play. I love how it's kind of hidden in a neighborhood.“

Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. “What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“

I've had Anjalesa twice now, and she has been wonderful—truly exceptional service.

If I could complain about one thing, it's the consistent lack of salad. I've come three Fridays now, and every time, the salad is completely gone, which is the only side I can have. They can't have one of the best ranches and not carry enough salad that they run out every Friday I've been here! I end up paying full price but leave with no side.

I hope the management sees this and addresses the salad stock, because otherwise, this place is a huge winner.“
