“I tried their fried chicken noodle. Meat portion is 25% of the whole noodle plate.
But I like the taste and texture.

I tried their chicken fried rice and fried chicken with dry peppers.
Fried rice was average and had 20% chicken and 80% rice, I shared with another person as we are small rice eaters.

They have a seating capacity for 12. And tables were already taken on Sunday during lunch hours.

“Excellent dishes. We were a table of 10 with no reservation, but when arrived there were only 6 other diners. Very long time to have our order taken (too few staff perhaps🤷🏼‍♂️). But excellent dishes from spicy beef noodle soup and beef tendon to tofu and crispy chicken.“

“After walking past the broken irrigation system and entering inside. You will be greeted and directed to a waiting area which is a bit uncomfortable seating looks nice but very rigid, you will be forced into a proper posture.

The food is very quick and fresh to arrive almost as if the chef is at the table with you.

Wait staff very quick to make sure your table stays clean, had to ask they stop changing my plate so often, kind of funny but a but distracting when you are chatting with your group. I did very much appreciate the humor they had when coming around very welcoming with the humor of an uncle or a sibling, a gentle tease or offering to do somthing ridiculous like well if you dont like the filling in the sesame bun I can remove it for you no charge and give you back the bun with no filling.“

“When you’re craving North American style Canto cuisine, or if fried rice and noodles are your comfort food, and you’re in the “Royal City” of New West, then you should drop in to this Chinese restaurant for ginger beef (invented in Calgary), spring rolls, wonton noodles, and egg foo young. I ordered the pictured “Combo F” that contained 6 deep fried (heavily battered) prawns, a generous amount of tasty ginger beef and a large portion of bbq pork fried rice that had that “wok-hei” flame kissed taste. I heard a lot of Cantonese being yelled out in the back so even though the menu caters to the local North American tastes, the chef in the back is “legit.” The portion size was enormous for this Combo plate. This is much better than that mall-style food court Canadian-Chinese precooked food that gets scooped to order. This was made to order but had a very short and reasonable waiting time.“

“It's a really good Chinese restaurant. We go there for late lunch on Saturday. I don't know what to order. I see the chicken with broccoli chow mein looking good on my next table. So I just tell the staff I want this one on the other table. She tells me that the one I want has lunch special. It's a good deal. It costs only $14.95 for it. Thank you for the friendly and helpful staff.

I also order one veggies stream dumpling and congee. The dumplings are so good and fresh. It's even better than the big dim sum restaurants in Vancouver.

I also really appreciate how seriously she takes customer feedback. The first time I tried their dessert soup, I found it a bit too sweet and casually mentioned it to her. The next time I ordered it, I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly balanced it was. I later learned Ada had personally tried it and asked the kitchen to adjust the sugar level. It might seem like a small thing, but it made me feel truly valued as a customer.

There are so many great restaurants in the Greater Vancouver area, and with new spots popping up all the time, it’s tempting to try something new. But for me, Neptune Brentwood is that one place I’ll always come back to for the incredible dining experience, warm vibe, attentive service, and above all, the delicious food.

“We decided to drop by & order take out food . It only took 20 minutes wait , then went back to my car but my car won’t start on the first day of snow& was very cold. I called BCAA but it will take an hour & a half to arrive. “We come here often because it's close to our family. The food is very standard dim sum, nothing special. I usually order the pan fried turnip cakes - it's usually really delicious but the last few times it has been dry, flavorless and bland. The rice rolls are a little too dry as well. They do have delicious baked BBQ pork buns though and their fried dishes are usually good.

The service is always 👍. They're very personable and friendly, and very efficient.

“Gluten free Chinese food! Yes, you read that correctly! Actually gluten free Chinese food. Including the battered meats! This is the first time I’ve ever encountered a gluten free Chinese food restaurant!

I got their most popular dish: the sesame chicken. It’s the first fried Chinese food I’ve had since getting celiac disease. The crispy fried chicken was delightful! It was served very hot and they prepared it so quickly too. It had great cuts of chicken too.

The associate who I talked with on the phone was very kind and courteous and worked hard with her staff to get my food ready quickly as I was in a rush.

This restaurant only adds 3 minutes to your route when you go from Vancouver back to the US!

We ordered: beef tongue, throat, pork belly, skin, squid, cauliflower, potato, toast, spring rolls, cucumbers and even more squid. Everything was delicious, well spiced and cooked to perfection! “I always have had a good experience in the 15 years I’ve been coming here. Heidi and all the staff are wonderful. I love supporting them and seeing everyone. The large portions for dinner are incredible for the price!!! I always have left overs. I love that they offer many vegetarian options too. They offer many Canadian-Chinese dishes and traditional Chinese dishes with some Canadian/American favourites (like hamburgers). I recommend the mushroom fried rice, onion pancakes (it’s like rosti), or the bean spout chow mein... especially with the chili oil they offer at each table. But the big plate of broccoli in garlic sauce is my favorite if you want something light but filling. They also offer it with Chinese broccoli. My friends and family love the daily specials and combo plates... if you don’t want a big plate of 1 big thing, the combos plates let you get 3 of the main dishes: a fried rice, a chow mein, sweet and sour pork or chicken, etc. For Family dinners they even offer a family combo “dinner for 2/4/6/etc” and have different daily specials. They also offer breakfast, dim sum, wonton soup, and other items. I also recommend their french fries. They SO good but they always come fresh hot and crispy. (Just really good simple fries.) They used to be known as the Austin Heights Diner (1989-2013) if you’ve been a longtime resident of coquitlam, I urge you visit them at their new location.“

We ordered a large lamb curry, tawa rotis and chicken pulao. The portions were huge and well worth the money as they were packed to the brim. “Recently went here for Lunch with the family.
It was around 60$ per person for AYCE for 2 hours. We went on a Saturday at around 12:30 to 1ish and the wait was only a few minuted to be seated.
2 Hour FREE Parking is included, by parking in the lot behind the restaurant and then scanning at QR code at reception.
So the way it works is you basically pay for the soup base (which is priced at 59.99), and order any sliced meats (no charge) on the iPad they give you. And any other vegetables, noodles or other add ons you want to put into your soup base is at the back for you to grab yourself. You have a 2 hour dining limit, but you can order as much meat as you’d like. They also have a dessert bar and sauce bar as well that you can customize to your liking. Afterwards they also give complimentary Soft Serve ice cream. Staff is very friendly and always checking in on you and collecting plates as you go. Definitely somewhere I’d go for more special occasions, rather than a normal outing.“

“I went to the Vancouver branch some years ago. I remember it being really good, so I visited the Coquitlam branch. It did not disappoint.

We ordered the beef rolls, pan fried pork, sweet and sour chicken, young chow fried rice, vegetarian noodles, hot and sour dumplings, a s Xiao long bao. Everything's really good.

The only thing I didn't like about is how cold it is inside the restaurant. They had portable heaters on but it wasn't enough to make the whole restaurant warm. Probably their heater wasn't working that day.

But other than that, we enjoyed eating in Peaceful restaurant in Coquitlam.

Vegetarian options: Yes they have vegetarian options as my daughter is vegetarian, we didn't have a hard time choosing food for her.“

“Good food and portions for the price. All mains I believe comes with a free sweetened iced tea. We ordered the beef noodle (they didn’t have the original so we got the tomato broth), as well as the salt and pepper chicken combo with sides. Both dishes were felt very homemade and they were easy to eat and digest. The menu is extensive and there is a lot to choose from for the mains. Space is not very big and it was quite busy when we went on a Sunday for lunch. Lots of people were getting take out too.“
