“Solid rec! As I was walking by this place tonight, I said out loud I've never eaten here. I was going to go to salt and Pepper, but I didn't feel like sitting down so I ordered my Carnitas plate to go and I am so pleased. Best Carnitas I've had in a while.“

“We found this place by asking where the best burritos were. Everyone we asked said to come here. You will wait in a long line but it moves fast and absolutely worth the wait! The horchata is creamy and perfectly balanced, and not too sweet as many horchatas tend to be. The mezcal they serve is wonderful as well. The owners are so nice and service is very attentive. “We were looking for the best taco spot in SF and this place kept popping up. it was just what everyone described. The food was amazing, and they served big portions. The meat was flavorful. If you dine in they give chips and salsa while you wait for your food. I got the carne asada platillo and my gf got the alambre platillo and it came with avocado which is really rare. we also got a taco to try it and it was really good. The service was fast and the people were really nice. The vibe is 10/10 couldn’t beat it. Would definitely recommend for an authentic Mexican restaurant experience“

The best thing here is the hot salsa, made from dried chilies, it’s really great but as far as I can tell they only give it to you if you ask, and it comes in a squeeze bottle.

“This is a family run place with outdoor seating. The food is quick, fresh and tasty. Women members of the family are nicer than the men, who can be clueless and unhelpful. Sometimes the meat is recooked in the crispy tacos which are otherwise my favorite. The flautas are also fresh and good as are the refried pinto beans.I like this casual place a lot—you can buy Russian River Brew next door at Raymnond’s excellent pizza place and sit in the sun with the locals.“

I personally also add their habanero salsa which you'll have to request for if you like that much heat. Their house margaritas are the perfect accompaniment. The staff is all great.
