“Fantastic food, excellent service, all at a fair price. While we were in Healdsburg we dined at four restaurants and paid $200 to $650 for a party of four. We all agreed Guiso was by far the best value. Most, if not all, of the staff are related and take care and pride in their restaurant. For lunch or dinner everyone visiting Healdsburg should dine at least once at this lovely restaurant.”
“We had a great prix fixe meal of 3 courses but the also offer 5 courses. No bad selections except for the cauliflower steak. I don’t think that is worth a steak or shrimp pasta but that is my opinion. Outdoor dining is available and they have heaters by the wall of sliding windows that open up totally he outside. Awesome deserts. I had the cookie butter cheesecake. I died and went to heaven.”
“I love this place! Especially the “us vs. them” side by side tastings of new world vs. old world European wines. The recent pop-up dinner with second staff was very well done!”

“Valette is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out is an experience, not just a meal. The Day Boat Scallops en Croûte is an absolute showstopper—encased in a delicate, golden pastry, it arrives at the table with a dramatic tableside pour of velvety sauce. The result? A perfect balance of buttery richness and ocean-fresh sweetness. Another amazing is the Sashimi Grade Hawaiian Ahi Poke Style. This is not your ordinary poki as it is made with 24 Month Barrel Aged Soy. The level of freshness of the fish truly comes through as the flavors blend perfectly with the crisp avocado. It is a fine line when adding a flash fried avocado to a dish that’s usually served cold. Vallete executes it perfectly! For the main course, the Dry-Aged Duck is a must-try. Crispy skin, succulent meat, and a medley of locally sourced seasonal veggies. Dessert is not an afterthought here. Strongly Suggest even if we do not have room at the end we always order the ItsNotA ‘Snickers Bar’ Deux. Service is impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff exudes genuine passion for the food and wine they serve. We love the whole team but especially Aaron-Jake-Sean-Isaac are amazing !?!?”
“Absolutely delicious and visually gorgeous food! The food was fresh and incredibly flavorful. A new favorite place to eat and shop in Healdsburg!! Excellent friendly service and great ambience. I am now on a mission to learn how to cook vegetable based foods like that!”

“Great food and service. Strong Japanese influence with local ingredients. Wine was great but expensive compared to European three star spots. Knowledge about the food varied among the waiters - one told us the cabbage dish was all fresh cabbage, then ten minutes later we listened to a different waiter tell the table next to us that it was half fermented cabbage (and that was a pattern). Duck was a highlight - blew EMP duck out of the water. I appreciated the use of sound dampening materials on the interior.”

“Hi… 4 of us were old time wine tasters. 2 never experienced wine tasting before. Darren gave the new guests a full tasting experienced. While he poured a variety of your best wines to satisfy an experienced tasters pallet. I joined your club and carried out 12 bottles of yum to go. Great experience. We will be back.”
“5/5 stars – each star for customer care, product quality, atmosphere, speed, and value. Justin was a great host. I visited Thomas George Estates and was impressed by the beautiful vineyards, the peaceful ambiance, and the scenic views across the valley. The cellar tour was informative and the tasting was well organized, offering a variety of smooth selections. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience relaxed and enjoyable. It feels like the best winery near me and a top choice among Sonoma wineries.”
“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!
The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.
Highly recommend Porter Creek for anyone looking for a relaxing, intimate tasting experience with a personal touch.”
“Such a beautiful winery I do wine tours and have visited many times and clients love Bella”
“I’m making a special trip from Illinois just to eat here. Gonna revolve our Vacation around the area. Looking forward to coming”

“What a fantastic place! We went for the Restaurant Week special and it was just stunning. Excellent potato leek bisque with espelette pepper powder for a hint of spiciness, and then my wife had a large serving of chicken and fries, and I loved the buckwheat crèpe with chanterelles, leek and cheese. But wait, there was more! A very generously sized chocolate pot de crème, just sinful. And: all that on their covered heated patio, so we could even bring doggo! Can't wait to return :)”
“This is the most incredible wine tasting experience I've ever been to. The wines were outstanding, the food was fantastic, and the service was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Williamson wines and everything they do. We are already planning our next visit!”
“We had aof group of 8 do a tasting. Tasting was $25 per person and we tasted 6 wines. Ali is extremely knowledgeable about all wines with her past experience. I have done over 100 wine tasting in addition to numerous barrel auctions. This was one of my top tasting experiences. The passion Ali and Eric have put into their wines shows up in the quality of each wine we tasted. One of the more unique wines we tasted was the Brave, named for cancer survivors. I have tasted many rose' wines but the Brave was more rich and full bodied. Would go great during the holiday's and with appetizers. We bought all the varietals and plan on enjoying sharing them with friends. Working on planning another visit soon”
“Healdsburg's best kept secret is Otoro Sushi, but thankfully it doesnt stop at just sushi. I happened upon this restaurant after going to my favorite place to shop for landscaping sculptures and misc. decor in Healdsburg, Garrett Hardware which happens to Otoro. Today, on my way home from UCSF we decided to try it out and to say we were in love at first bite would not be an understatement. We started off with a bowl of their soup which was delightful followed by a serving of tempura vegetables 😋😜 and we could not get enough or pick which one was our favorite. Then onto the main course one Bento Box with Teriyaki Chicken and its sides along with our sushi which consisted of 2- California Rolls, 2-Shrimp Tempura Rolls, 1-Yum Yum Roll 😋 (My Favorite) It came by its name for a reason and finally a Jalapeño Bomb Roll which is going home to the boy . 👦The only thing I forgot to add is I cant wait to go back.”
“Had booked a tasting for a sparkling flight and varietals flight. Ended up adding the cheese pairing. Brendan was a.ma.zingggggggg. Talk about a wealth of knowledge, super personable and had some great one-liners that had us cracking up. The wines were great, and while I was skeptical about some of the cheeses-it was pleasantly surprising and really delicious”

“Amazing wine! Got 10 cases 🙈
Our server Reed was very informative, great convo & not just about wine! We talked about business ventures, martial arts (nun chucks!), breathing exercises, wrestling & He also told us the best way to get sparkling glasses (magic erasers!) & the best place to buy them wholesale! (Sponge depot!) He will be missed but we'll see him next visit! 🥂”
“We had an awesome tasting yesterday at this amazing winery. Robin was very friendly and excited about the different types of wines. She explained all the options throughly. We can not wait to get back home to try our selections for different dinners. Thanks again for everything.”
“My brother made reservations while we were going to a few wineries in the area.
The day we went was a tad rainy but the weather made the experience more special.
We were greeted by a cute grey tabby while we waited for our table.
Once seated we were welcomed with delicious wines and great ambience.
Slowly other wine tasters left and our group was the last.
Super charming and personalable winery.
Not to mention the wine will blow your socks off.
Highly recommend!”
“Ramey makes some of the very best wines in the United States. Our tasting with Martin was terrific. It was informative and extensive.
We were exposed to some new red wines in there portfolio which were great and as a result placed an order for a mixed case. We will definitely be back next trip to Sonoma.”
“What a unique and fun experience we had at Hafner Vineyards. While any trip to the Healdsburg area is a treat, our visit to Hafner made a fun trip all the more memorable. It isn't often that one finds a family business so committed to producing an exceptional product while also ensuring conservation of their land and the well being of their employees. I highly recommend taking the time to go taste delicious wine, tour the wine caves and watch the magic of a small business in action at Hafner!”

“Hirsch was an outstanding stop. Their Pinot Noirs are truly special. They are elegant, complex, and a perfect expression of the Sonoma Coast. We had a beautifully guided tasting with a host who was incredibly knowledgeable about the vineyard’s history, farming philosophy, and winemaking approach. You can really feel the intention behind every wine.
The setting is intimate and relaxed, making it easy to focus on the wines and the stories behind them. If you’re a Pinot lover or just appreciate thoughtfully crafted wines, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend.”
“Come for the wine, stay for the beautiful grounds!
I proposed here a few weekends ago (she said yes!). I couldn't think of a more beautiful, intimate place! The tasting room has a beautiful view of the vines below the mountains, stunning in the afternoon sun. There is an area with some picnic tables below a clump of redwoods. And the gardens are the highlight for sure, gorgeous, well tended, and we got to sample a few kinds of figs along with our charcuterie!
We really enjoyed their GSM and seeing the wine in the making! Special thanks to Julia, she helped me find the perfect spot for the proposal and just went so much out of her way to make sure we had a time we'll remember for the rest of our lives! We'll definitely be back!
And be sure to say hi to Sir Winston!”
“They had 21 Pinot Noirs and one Chardonnay which was their first endeavor with that grape. They hit a home run with it. I was even able to get a chilled bottle, just what I was looking for on a hot day. The Pinots were all good, some very dry, some not so much but not jammy.”
“My friend and I stumbled across this hidden gem winery while biking. Colin graciously gave us an impromptu tour and tasting! He was very knowledgeable, sharing his insights on Zinfandel history and the Sonoma wine region. The two Zinfandels, Chardonnay, and Cab we tried were wonderful. The ambiance was relaxing and perfect. Don’t miss this stop!”
“Jeremy absolutely made our experience complete! Not only was the wine delicious and the tasting experience wonderful, but he took a personal interest in our trip and wrote out a detailed itinerary for us to go see Bodega Bay. It was one of the highlights of our trips and we wouldn't have thought of it had it not been for Jeremy's kindness and hospitality!”
“We had reservations and were asked to make a change for a very special holiday party which we were happy to oblige. When we came for our reservation the food was outstanding and the service was incredible!! Everyone has been incredibly warm and inviting as well. Our surprise was when we were accommodated very generously for our r slight inconvenience. We can’t say enough good things about this place and everyone who were so pleasant and made our trip here the best! Thank you again!! We HIGHLY recommend this place!”
“If you’re visiting wine country in North Sonoma County, be sure to stop by this establishment. I rarely post reviews, but if you’re hungry for lunch, do yourself a favor and have one of their sandwiches. I had the French Dip and it is seriously one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Top it off with a hazy IPA from the bar immediately next-door and attached to the general store or any beverage of your choice.”

“I came to Healdsburg with family. They went wine tasting while I explored the town a bit since I don’t drink alcohol. I stopped by Iggy’s burger for lunch. I was confused because it looked like an ice cream shop. Daniel welcomed me in right away. He explained that it was also a burger spot. He helped me choose a burger by explaining the different flavors they have. He is very hospitable and polite with everyone that comes in the shop. I had the jalapeño burger and truffle fries. Both were delicious. When I went to get ketchup he told me about the specialty sauces they have and gave me one to try. Overall I had such a good experience.”
“Jason is such a gem of a bartender! From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome with his warm smile and genuine personality. He’s attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell he really cares about creating a great experience for everyone at the bar.
Not only were the drinks absolutely perfect—balanced, creative, and beautifully made—but Jason also has that rare gift of making conversations easy and fun. He remembers details, adds thoughtful touches, and creates an atmosphere where you feel like more than just a customer—you feel like a valued guest.
If you’re lucky enough to catch Jason behind the bar, you’re guaranteed an amazing time. Highly recommend! 🍹👏”
“Coyote Sonoma is a great place with great atmosphere, vibe is just chill place is super spacious and Dara the bartender serves some delicious brews allways working hard and making sure everyone is taken care of really great place to visit for some music or just have a beer and catch up with the friends.”
“Good place to get some Mexican food in the Healdsburg plaza. They have good burritos and tacos , highly recommend there tacos. Also the super burrito is pretty delicious and a pretty good size it fills you up for sure . Also love there salsas for the chips have a good kick to them and aren't watered down like other places .”

“Love this place. Such delicious food and healthy options. I will continue to drive 30 minutes for this place. I get the plaza plate and choose my own meat, bread, etc. Love that they work with my substitutions. Staff are also very nice and attentive. It has become our regular weekend spot.”
“New restaurant with some minor problems to fix ( had to ask for a silverware and bread, food delivered before drinks) but everyone is extremely nice and helpful and I’m sure will fix these problems soon
Every Wednesday Folia has a “ neighbors menu” $55 for a wonderful 3 course meal. Corkage is free for local Sonoma wine. Valet parking. Highly recommended”
“We were out for a Saturday morning breakfast. Decided to give Peppers a try. Yup, this is a nice family restaurant. Comfortable and quiet, yet welcoming. Lots of menu options. Quality was great. Very nice portions. Service was just right. Price was a little high - $50 for two main dishs and two coffee. Likely reflecting inflation. We enjoyed our visit.”
