“We had a great prix fixe meal of 3 courses but the also offer 5 courses. No bad selections except for the cauliflower steak. I don’t think that is worth a steak or shrimp pasta but that is my opinion. Outdoor dining is available and they have heaters by the wall of sliding windows that open up totally he outside. Awesome deserts. I had the cookie butter cheesecake. I died and went to heaven.”
“I love this place! Especially the “us vs. them” side by side tastings of new world vs. old world European wines. The recent pop-up dinner with second staff was very well done!”
“What a great treasure in Healdsburg. We had an outstanding meal and the service was impeccable. We started with a shishito pepper appetizer and then shared the Pulpo a la Plancho (the octopus was so tender and well spiced) and the Chile Relleno, which is served in the Guiso tomato sauce. This sauce is Grandmother's special recipe and has a blend of spices that are simply amazing. I wanted to drink it out of the bowl!!”
“Valette is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out is an experience, not just a meal. The Day Boat Scallops en Croûte is an absolute showstopper—encased in a delicate, golden pastry, it arrives at the table with a dramatic tableside pour of velvety sauce. The result? A perfect balance of buttery richness and ocean-fresh sweetness. Another amazing is the Sashimi Grade Hawaiian Ahi Poke Style. This is not your ordinary poki as it is made with 24 Month Barrel Aged Soy. The level of freshness of the fish truly comes through as the flavors blend perfectly with the crisp avocado. It is a fine line when adding a flash fried avocado to a dish that’s usually served cold. Vallete executes it perfectly! For the main course, the Dry-Aged Duck is a must-try. Crispy skin, succulent meat, and a medley of locally sourced seasonal veggies. Dessert is not an afterthought here. Strongly Suggest even if we do not have room at the end we always order the ItsNotA ‘Snickers Bar’ Deux. Service is impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff exudes genuine passion for the food and wine they serve. We love the whole team but especially Aaron-Jake-Sean-Isaac are amazing !?!?”

“I took my boyfriend here for a Californian wine tasting experience and it was so perfect. The vineyards are beautiful and expansive and free to roam through but the service is also just as special. We were hosted by Darren who was extremely knowledgeable about the tasting notes of every wine and the individual process it takes to make each bottle. Darren offered us samples of lots of wines too and we even got a special wine cellar tour that we weren’t expecting. He then introduced us to the family owner of the Dry Creek Vineyard itself (like meeting royalty!). He really made our visit so memorable. If you’re planning a wine tour whilst in the area, this historic site is an essential first stop!”
“Enjoyed Asahi flavors!! The menu is limited but the flavors are true Japanese taste! Had the gyoza, agedashi tofu, shrimp shumai - yuuuum. Will try the sushi next time. Comfortable and cozy, nice service and friendly staff. Will be back!”
“My husband Michael and I met co-owner Doug in Cloverdale, and he invited us to come visit the tasting room owned by his wife, Crystalyn, founding partner, and him. We did so and were so warmly welcomed. Music by Adam was off the charts that day, and the wines delicious. We went again and met Doug’s son, Declan, who similarly was gracious and helped us join the wine club and learn about great area restaurants and theater. A truly family affair, and a casual tasting room where you can feel at home, sip wonderful small batch wines, and listen to great music. Highly recommend, as this place stands out in the crowd.”

“I have no words. I have to say this was the best meal of my entire life. It was flawless from beginning to end. I feel crazy saying this but I feel like they could actually charge more. It’s that good. Michelin describes the three starts as “Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey.” And SingleThread knocks that out of the park. Unreal!”

“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!
The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.
Highly recommend Porter Creek for anyone looking for a relaxing, intimate tasting experience with a personal touch.”
“Absolutely delicious and visually gorgeous food! The food was fresh and incredibly flavorful. A new favorite place to eat and shop in Healdsburg!! Excellent friendly service and great ambience. I am now on a mission to learn how to cook vegetable based foods like that!”
“This is a must stop winery in Sonoma County. My wife and I did the food and wine pairing and had an amazing experience…
Shout out to Gabe, as well! Top notch customer service and was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, food pairing, etc.
Highly Recommend stopping in!”
“Had lunch for the first time here today, a delicious one! The menu is huge, so I look forward to trying so many of their authentic dishes. Happy to have them in Healdsburg. -Ali Story”

“We had reservations and were asked to make a change for a very special holiday party which we were happy to oblige. When we came for our reservation the food was outstanding and the service was incredible!! Everyone has been incredibly warm and inviting as well. Our surprise was when we were accommodated very generously for our r slight inconvenience. We can’t say enough good things about this place and everyone who were so pleasant and made our trip here the best! Thank you again!! We HIGHLY recommend this place!”
“Healdsburg's best kept secret is Otoro Sushi, but thankfully it doesnt stop at just sushi. I happened upon this restaurant after going to my favorite place to shop for landscaping sculptures and misc. decor in Healdsburg, Garrett Hardware which happens to Otoro. Today, on my way home from UCSF we decided to try it out and to say we were in love at first bite would not be an understatement. We started off with a bowl of their soup which was delightful followed by a serving of tempura vegetables 😋😜 and we could not get enough or pick which one was our favorite. Then onto the main course one Bento Box with Teriyaki Chicken and its sides along with our sushi which consisted of 2- California Rolls, 2-Shrimp Tempura Rolls, 1-Yum Yum Roll 😋 (My Favorite) It came by its name for a reason and finally a Jalapeño Bomb Roll which is going home to the boy . 👦The only thing I forgot to add is I cant wait to go back.”
“I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Ali (Smith) and Eric (Story) yesterday - a husband and wife team who have built an amazing business and are making some great wine! I highly recommend checking out their tasting room - a lovely, inviting spot at Bacchus Landing, which is not too far off the main square.”
“I have been coming to this restaurant for over 19 years now and every single time, I am filled with so much gratitude and love for the beautiful experience dining at Sake'O provides. From the careful selection of fresh and delicious culinary offerings and creative menu, to the serene and peaceful energy of the space.......Frank and Cheri never disappoint!”

“They had 21 Pinot Noirs and one Chardonnay which was their first endeavor with that grape. They hit a home run with it. I was even able to get a chilled bottle, just what I was looking for on a hot day. The Pinots were all good, some very dry, some not so much but not jammy.”
“My brother made reservations while we were going to a few wineries in the area.
The day we went was a tad rainy but the weather made the experience more special.
We were greeted by a cute grey tabby while we waited for our table.
Once seated we were welcomed with delicious wines and great ambience.
Slowly other wine tasters left and our group was the last.
Super charming and personalable winery.
Not to mention the wine will blow your socks off.
Highly recommend!”
“Leo was an outstanding host for our walk-in experience at TGE. He's a true sommelier that clearly loves his craft and the time he spent with my daughter, introducing her to the dinner points of wine tasting and technique was very much appreciated. Looking forward to a return visit during Harvest Fest.”
“Comstock Wines is set in an absolutely beautiful location. We had a seated tasting with Erik, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. He made the entire experience both memorable and enjoyable. I learned a lot about wine, and his enthusiasm truly made the experience unforgettable! We loved the wines so much that my father-in-law even bought half a case to be shipped home to Florida. All in all, it was a fantastic experience.”
“The wines speak for themselves, which is why we purchase and only share them with people who have a developed palate. But the service and experience is why we do the drive again and again. Eric
has welcomed us like an old, cherished friend with each visit. Book Bell Mountain tour if you can. Every visit to this winery is 💯”
“Experience is superb! This family winery is large sale but still very close to their hearts. Katie, Hank, Linda and Harry were amazing hosts. Their winemakers were very busy yet still open to answer questions. Highly reccomend!”
“We had a wonderful experience here. The taster was very knowledgeable and friendly, we had a great conversation about food. The wine was excellent. I was able to ask a lot of questions, and see maps of where the grapes were grown while we were tasting.”

“Stopped here on a busy Dry Creek Passport weekend. we didn't have any reservations, but that wasn't a problem. The staff here was very friendly and welcoming, even though they were very busy. We were able to try many delicious wines at various tasting stations.
Hats off to the friendly and knowledgeable staff. A big sjput out to David Bedford who was an exceptional tasting room expert.
The wine tasting room and the outdoor space was set up perfectly for a large crowd and lines for tastings were expertly run.
We had such a great experience we joined the wine club.”
“Neat little shop. I got a split scoop of Dutch cookie and Swiss chocolate. It was good. The selection was small. The pies were very pricey! $38 for a pie was a bit steep. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. There are 2 other ice cream shops on the square I need to try out.”
“If you’re visiting wine country in North Sonoma County, be sure to stop by this establishment. I rarely post reviews, but if you’re hungry for lunch, do yourself a favor and have one of their sandwiches. I had the French Dip and it is seriously one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Top it off with a hazy IPA from the bar immediately next-door and attached to the general store or any beverage of your choice.”
“Jeremy absolutely made our experience complete! Not only was the wine delicious and the tasting experience wonderful, but he took a personal interest in our trip and wrote out a detailed itinerary for us to go see Bodega Bay. It was one of the highlights of our trips and we wouldn't have thought of it had it not been for Jeremy's kindness and hospitality!”
“My friend and I stumbled across this hidden gem winery while biking. Colin graciously gave us an impromptu tour and tasting! He was very knowledgeable, sharing his insights on Zinfandel history and the Sonoma wine region. The two Zinfandels, Chardonnay, and Cab we tried were wonderful. The ambiance was relaxing and perfect. Don’t miss this stop!”
“Such a beautiful winery I do wine tours and have visited many times and clients love Bella”

“Everyone was so friendly, not sure if I’m just used to hostility from bar tenders in San Francisco but I had a really good time here. Live bands, good taps, and the music after the band was good too. Great parking situation. A bit more alternative / punk than the rest of the town in my opinion!”
“Love our last night in Sonoma at the 106 Rooftop with Daniel taking good care of us. The atmosphere was beautiful and Daniel was polished, attentive and friendly always making sure we had a terrific experience... The Rooftop is a cool environment and the drinks, stone oven pizzas, starters and desserts
simply delicious!”
“Coyote Sonoma is a great place with great atmosphere, vibe is just chill place is super spacious and Dara the bartender serves some delicious brews allways working hard and making sure everyone is taken care of really great place to visit for some music or just have a beer and catch up with the friends.”
“Small, cozy place with beautiful ambience.
The place has been done very tastefully. The wall pieces to table decors. Food was on point and good portion size. My family loved the whole experience here. Highly recommended. If you are coming for flaming, do come here for some delicious Thai food.”
“been going here forever and the workers have never messed anything up. been addicted recently to a new drink and tori (one of the employees) remembered i got caramel drizzle in my drink (i forgot to say it when i ordered) dare i say they makes the best drinks ever (#sorry my boy jax) all the employees are super sweet and have amazing service and also make drinks super delicious!! no other starbucks can compare to this one. the nugget ice is superb”
“Small plates were all good. The paella was delicious. My levante gin and tonic was so good and paired well with the food we ate. We sat on the back covered patio. We'd like to also try the backyard area under the trees. We loved the vibe and will return when we're in the area. Service was excellent.”
“A small taqueria near downtown Healdsburg and the town square. Homey not pretentious. Good food it's a bit pricey, but it's the area, and priced accordingly.
Authentic home style Mexican cooking. I had the shrimp diablo. Very spicy 🔥. Beans were authentic, creamy made with manteca. The rice was nice and fluffy and not dry. Served with flour tortillas.
A good change of food pace compared to the matheson 101 and other restaurants near the town square.
Parking: Town square has very limited parking. You may need to park a good walking distance from the shops and restaurants located in the Towne square.”
“There was a problem with the app not working correctly so the manager gave me my meal and said that they would get the money later and when I got home I had an email saying that the whole thing had been canceled, so, I need to go back and pay him $8.28. And a 100% will do that the next time I leave Cloverdale. That was beyond excellent customer service!”
