“Been here a bunch of times. Great custom cocktails all their own plus all the classics. They probably have every type of liquor you can think of. Great service--they always hand you a menu as soon as you come in the door. Order your drinks at the bar--might have to work you way between people sitting at the bar. They don't take orders from the seating area, I've seen people leave thinking they are not getting served. Just order at the bar. Good drinks and good wine and beer options too. NOT a great place for large groups.“

However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. There is outside seating but it was taken up when we arrived there and it didn't seem to free up by the time we left.Age range is millennials, maybe some college students.Music is a bit loud if you are trying to have a conversation, but overall its fun! They got games playing and I think you can have lil birthday gatherings there? There was a small birthday hang out when we were there which was really cute.Overall, good bar, would come back.“

“Every time I’ve been at Black bar a very enjoyable experience, it has a wonderful selection of whiskey which I drink. They have wonderful, creative cocktails that I’ve tried and never been disappointed. The pizza is wonderful as well. Please try it. “The atmosphere is popping here! Excellent DJ, very welcoming people, and good vibes. The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

“Great little place it's kind of small though wish it had a bigger dance floor, and they need to serve food other than that great bartenders great drinks great prices in the heart of Naples near Belmont shore I like to go here after I go to the beach in the summer. Great jukebox and you can hear people talk in there.“

“Enjoyable atmosphere, tasty pizza and friendly staff. A little concerned over consistency in the kitchen, however. A few weeks ago I ordered a Caesar salad and was blown away by the quality, especially the dressing.

Ordered the same salad on my next visit and it was awful. By the time I got to the bottom of the bowl the lettuce left behind was soaking in a soupy nearly flavorless dressing that did not come close to what I experienced the first time. Probably gonna stick to the slices here for food.“

Loved the outside area—it’s large enough for a good sized group and so lovely being up so high with didn’t views from each side. Definitely check this place out. Valet parking at the Fairmont Hotel as well as metered street parking and if you don’t mind walking a few blocks, you might find a free parking spot.“

“⭐ 5 Stars – Amazing Old Fashioneds and Outstanding Service at Alter Ego

After being treated poorly by another restaurant in the same building, Alter Ego completely saved my night. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind — a true example of what real hospitality should feel like.

Their Old Fashioneds are phenomenal — perfectly balanced, smooth, and crafted with care. You can tell the bartenders here take pride in what they do. Every cocktail I saw coming out of the bar looked stunning, but the Old Fashioned was easily one of top 10 I have had in California.

What truly stood out was the atmosphere and the people. The bartenders and servers made me feel comfortable and respected, turning an uncomfortable situation into an evening I’ll remember for all the right reasons.

If you’re looking for exceptional cocktails, great energy, and genuine hospitality, skip the place upstairs and go straight to Alter Ego. This bar sets the standard for high-class service and incredible drinks that are expected for the price.

“There were enough people there for a good atmosphere, yet it wasn't crowded. When they played the live music it was a bit too loud for us to be able to hear each other, but I had a lot of fun! The bartenders were friendly, pretty, and easy to get along with. I would absolutely go back next time I have the chance!“

“This speakeasy was such a cool find! From the moment you walk in, you're transported into a 19th century opium dens in China.

The drinks were Strong and delicious.I do wish there were a few more drink options on the menu, but honestly what they had was solid.

One tip: definitely get on the wait-list. There’s actually more than one speakeasy in the same spot, so it’s worth planning ahead if you want to check them all out.

I also heard they’re planning to add more drinks soon, which means I’ll absolutely be back to see what new creations they come up with.“

Most Tuesdays the Queen Mary has an event called Meet Me at the Mary. You must make reservations online. 4-8 pm. Gives you free access to the whole ship, parking is discounted to $10. (you must validate at the bar).

You cannot beat the atmosphere and view. 1930's decor. Live band with singer, playing big band music.

You can self-tour the ship before or after. (Engine room closes at 6pm).

They discontinued happy hour prices November 2025.

Food was great. We had a Flatbread (Queen Mary 3 Stacks, sorry we ate half in the picture) and Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bistro Chips.
