“Bakery cookies don’t get any better than this! Honestly though, I was more blown away by Laraaya. Even in a 1 minute interaction with a customer, she makes you feel like best friends. She is bright, welcoming, and you can just tell she is living out her highest good. She makes a mean cookie too 😂.

I tried the chocolate chip, london fog, vanilla bean sugar cookie, and napolitaine petit trois. The first 3 are expertly done; they taste about how you would expect- like homemade cooke with perfect texture. I have never had anything like napolitaine on the other hand, idk how she did that but I was blown away.“

“Some of the best pastries in town. Almond and cheese croissants are my favorite. Croissants are very flaky so if that’s not your style, you may not enjoy.

This place sells until they’re out.

I most recently got there 10 mins before opening on a weekend and there was a short line in front of me, with an even longer line behind me once i left.

There is no seating at all. It’s a tiny storefront with all of the space dedicated to the bakery and organizing orders. You order at the door.

The staff are really nice but there isn’t a ton of service bc they’re just taking the order and handing pastries.

Definitely recommend giving this place a try!“

“Lee’s cafe is a Taiwanese-style cafe with a hint of Hong Kong sparkle, serving the perfect mix of Taiwanese and Hong Kong food. The toast is absolutely marvelous, and I truly believe it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other dishes. The sesame cold noodles were good, but missing something—I felt they didn’t quite hit the mark. The wontons were delicious, but the braised pork belly rice was your typical run-of-the-mill rice. Nothing terribly special, but delicious nonetheless. The HK milk tea, however, leaned very watery and missed the signature strong tea taste of a HK milk tea.
Also, their bathroom sink was broken and put as a “use at your own risk”. Hopefully they have fixed this since my visit!
Yet, through all this, I would still return to Liu’s kitchen—for their toast!“

This was my first time trying key lime pie bc I usually don’t like lime unless it’s in a drink. BUT OH WOW I’ve been missing out!!!

The key lime pie was SO good. I love sour flavors, and I think the filling had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It might be a little too sour if you eat the lime filling by itself, but with the cream and crust together?? BOMB!!

I also tried the banana cream pie and really liked it! It tasted just like banana pudding. I think it would be even better with a crust like the one on the key lime pie, if that’s possible!

The service was great, the restroom was clean, and the place was super cute too.

“I went into this location for the first time today. I love their cakes but I got mochi donuts instead. It was quick and easy to be able to pick out my baked goods. There were a lot of options to pick from at 6:30 PM which was a good sign! Javier helped me at the register to check out and he was attentive and polite. There is seating inside and outside which is nice. Overall my experience was positive and I’d come back!“

“Great coffee. LA breakfast burrito was bomb, hot sauce was bomb, sausage was a highlight. Out of bacon and steak 💔 and they serve milk which threw me off. Crunchwrap was tasty they had well seasoned beans. The cinnamon roll was bready soft and tasty. The frosting was cloying and overwhelmed the cinnamon roll IMO. Overall great selection and would come back to try the other baked goods and menu options. “August 1, 2026 (Saturday) was a great day for me because I discovered THE BEST place on planet earth called Marigold Bakeshop. Three letters to describe this place: OMG. The red velvet cake, cinnamon roll, and chocolate cake were so delicious that each bite was like heaven. If you like coffee I can 100% guarantee that this place will be your go to place for coffee. To top off my day, I also ordered their brisket sandwich. The brisket was so tender that it melted in my mouth and it was packed with so much flavor that had me wanting more. How I wish this place was in my home state of Florida. If you are ever in the Los Angeles area or are fortunate to live here please give this place a try and I promise you will make Marigold Bakeshop your home away from home. Customer service is top notch. The moment I entered the place I was greeted with smiles.“

“Great, tasty pastries and delicious cake slices! Angel Maid Bakery is a wonderful family-owned bakery offering Japanese-style and French-inspired pastries.

I especially love their light, fluffy European-style sponge cakes; they remind me of the cakes I enjoyed in Europe. Their chiffon cakes and cream puffs are also delicious with just the right level of sweetness.

“I had a crazy craving for bbq pork buns and I now ONLY get them from here, and I live 30 minutes away on a clear day of traffic so I wanted to hurry before traffic got dumb. My favorite is the steamed chicken bun which I forgot to take pictures of before I ate them all. It’s a little meal all in one go with minced chicken, Chinese sausage, hard boiled egg all in a perfect seasoned mix. They freeze great! They have both steamed and baked bbq pork buns and I prefer the steamed but I get both and they still are the best deal.
I also got two pork sung buns to eat on the drive home but I could barely finish one they were so big. They have many other pastries and items, but I don’t know enough about them to want to try although I’ve heard really good things about the pineapple buns. I’m not a big custard or moon cake fan but people say good things about those as well. My only advice is to go in prepared for what you want and get there as early as you can. I got there by 7:15 AM and they open at 7 which makes parking is a breeze. There were only three people in front of me with two gals behind the counter so it was perfect because I was back in my car at 7:30 heading home. It just goes to show that you don’t need a big fancy bakery to find quality delicious product at actual affordable prices. I got 10 baked bbq pork buns, 6 steamed bbq pork buns, 5 steamed chicken buns, 2 pork sung buns, all for my family, all for $40. Love it. Can’t wait to go back for myself next week!“

“Grade A+ (96): Small little kitchen, don't know how much food can come out of it!! They have a small little sitting area, but we most often do it as take out. The Jambon Beurre (Ham and Butter) are my favorite, the Baguette 🥖 is awesome and they put a hefty amount of butter and French Ham very thinking sliced. The Ham & Cheese and the Chocolate Croissants are very good but you have to go early, by 12:30 they were sold out! The guys are very friendly, prices are a bit on the high side but what can you do, it's unique.“
