“From our personal experiences, most vegan restaurants have had very friendly and kind people working in there as compared to non-vegan restaurants. This place wasn’t one of those places.

Food was excellent but customer service has a lot of room for improvement. Staffs seem they don’t like working there and hate when a customer walks in. Especially a woman who has a masculine voice, she probably had a bad day or something, she was annoyed for no reason.
Others were welcoming and seem trying at a bare minimum.
I would not go to the restaurant again but would definitely get the DoorDash delivery from there.“

“My daughter took me and the hubby here for our Thanksgiving celebration since she couldn't come home (Sac) for actual Thanksgiving, we went to her. This was a night I won't soon forget! Having a nice meal with our daughter was a treat, the service was amazing and the food....OMG! Every bite of every dish I tasted was so so delicious! “Short wait on a Friday night for 7 of us. Really small place but the wait staff and owner very friendly and everyone was very happy with their meal. If I lived here I would go back.“

“Amazing vegetarian Chinese food. The fried “chicken” was close to normal chicken for me. Mapo tofu also slapped and the fried rice was hearty and delicious. Staff were really helpful and kind as well. The soup was very peppery, so just be read for that. Highly recommend it :)“

“Finally had time to visit the new location. The cozy jazzy atmosphere at 11pm was perfect for a post BroadwaySF pizza. The pizza was huge and drowning in very fine Parmesan hiding the pepperoni chinks underneath, the whole bunch of basil was badass. Basically a choose your own basil adventure... Take your date after a show, you'll be a hero(ine). Date night 💯! Thanks June's for the extra late hours! We couldn't find anything nice in the city! 😂“

We we rather disappointed recently when we called to make reservations for 4 for lunch on 2/25/2022 and were informed they only take reservations for 5 or more. Is this true ? If so they should so state on their web site.“

“This place serves CHEESE STUFFED NAAN. It's just so legit. You can ask them to stack multiple as whole cheesy pillows or get the standard single-sliced-into-4 basket. Also everything on the menu I've tasted so far is deliciously layered and complex, satisfyingly spicy and salty, and just good solid comfort-food tasty. Only short is that it gets chilly during dinner with the doors open for when they bring out our tandoori (sizzling plates). Dinner here on the weekend brings out families and friend groups along with me and my trans partner.

“We got a couple of things here and they were all amazing. All their ramen the best version of that ramen we’ve had so far.

We got the Wagyu beef, one and another one that also had duck and pork. Sublime.

Even the soft boiled egg was incredibly jammy and tasted like it came from a foreign land.

Incredibly balanced broth that I can drink all day

We got a chicken karrage one other thing that I forget, which was also delicious. I think it was some sort of sushi roll.

Only gripe is that the seating is a little bit cramped.

There is a waitlist, but they text you when your number is up so you have time to explore the area a little bit. Go on a weekday during non-rush-hour.

“Ate at Golondrinas for the first time tonight. Ordered the special pupusas (zucchini and cheese) which came with a side of slaw plus some spicy sauce it was outstanding. Couldn't help but eat the entire plate of food. Had their green salad which was a very generous portion of incredibly fresh greens with shredded carrots and pepitas. It was a simple but totally delectable salad; easily enough to share if I had been with someone else. My main course was the poblano mole enchiladas with chicken and refried beans -- OMG soooo delicious. The mole was truly one of the best I have eaten! The refried beans were delectable. Felt like I was eating food made by someone who loved me. Highly encourage you to go and enjoy some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten!“

“I got the special combo ham sandwich without cilantro and jalapeno - but I found a jalapeno in my sandwich. My partner also found jalapeno in #20 grilled pork with lemon grass even it was ordered with no jalapeno. Beside that complaint, the banh mi was really good! The bread is soft and crunchy without hurting the roof of our mouth and it's fully stuffed with the meats and veggies while being affordable!

Although the inside of the shop is clean and organized, the streets is seemingly sketchy and dirty looking so be cautious. It might be hard to find parking.

Otherwise, it's worth to stop by to try!“

I got Khao soi curry and a seafood noodle dish. It was fast delicious and fresh.

The service also was incredible. Totally mom and pop vibe where everyone hustles, is friendly and delivers just a great experience.

“Good food, but expensive for what it is. Very authentic and has a similar flavor profile as some of the noodle places I've had in Japan. I ordered the duck soba and the soup was quite bitter and medicinal. I can see why some people like it but personally not for me.“

“It’s been my favorite restaurant since moving to the neighborhood two years ago. The food is not only consistently fantastic, but it is always extremely deeply flavorful. The Lamb alicha, my current favorite, has a lot of warming spices that meld well, and every other bite a new one surfaces: green cardamom, later ginger, then a chili powder. Don’t skip the flax seed milkshake, which is toasty, rich, and flavored with honey. Service is friendly and quick. My favorite!“

The best jianbing I've had outside of China. Crispy and not too salty. My wife said it's authentic Tianjin style.

The soy milk was amazing! Very smooth and slightly sweet even though it wasn't sweetened. No burnt taste.

Alas, he was out of tea eggs.

“I love this brewery! It is so refreshing to go somewhere that doesn't just have 20 IPAs. The vibes are chill but fun, the upstairs with its games is great, and the owner is super nice and accommodating. He was passing out free samples of their new beer. There are food trucks on the weekend as well as regular events.

Having been to almost all of the breweries in the Bay, I'd rate the overall quality S tier. Most of the competition is boring and frankly not great. This place and Tenma have been the most impressive of the East Bay establishments I've tried.

If you're in the area and looking for a place to hang out for a little bit and grab a beer or two you can't go wrong. Highly recommended!“
