“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“Omg! The black Ramen is the best. Soo tasty I can eat it everyday. This is a comfort food for me but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. I feel like I made a good choice after eating here. Very good sushi too. Fish is so creamy. My go to place for ramen and sushi.“

“Yoshiharu Ramen in Anaheim totally lives up to its rep as a top spot for authentic Hokkaido-style ramen! I ordered the Black Tonkatsu Ramen, and wow, it was a flavor bomb—rich, garlicky broth with that perfect umami kick, paired with tender pork and perfectly cooked noodles. The vibe here feels like a nod to Japan’s ramen history, from the Meiji Period roots to Tokyo’s iconic Rairaiken. You can tell they’re serious about their craft, just like their #1 OC Register rating suggests. If you’re in Anaheim and craving legit ramen, this place is a must-visit!“

“I ordered takeout from this sushi restaurant and was really impressed. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—even for to-go. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making the whole ordering process easy and pleasant. My food arrived quickly and still felt fresh, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend to others.“

“Service was amazing! The waitress was so nice and reminded us about the deal when we were so close to it, thank you. And the food was really good for the price. Honestly, didn't have much expectations but it was really good for such a small place.“

“Just discovered Aburi, had a great experience all around.. their staff, food, and atmosphere were all top notch. Adding this to our go-to lunch spots. Oh, and great value (prices/specials) too! Give it a shot if you’re looking for a new sushi spot in HB.“

“Apparently during mondays they have jiro ramen/miso ramen only, and during wed-sun they have chicken ramen and tsukemen only. I didn't know of this until i asked the waiter for clarification. Nevertheless, the jiro ramen is genuinely authentic, and i loved how the vegetables complimented the fatty and rich broth with the thick noodles. I would definitely come here again if i can.“

“I came here on a cloudy Sunday and was immediately greeted and got a seat right away. I ordered the deluxe mazemen with the pork belly and it was delicious mixture of different savory textures and flavors. I definitely liked it more after adding a bit of the white vinegar to cut through some of the richness. I also had the yuzu sour, which if you know me, I love the yuzu like waking up and having no work that day. The yuzu sour was refreshing, not too sweet, and tasted like one of the bottled yuzu sodas out there. If I'm in the area after hitting some golf balls I'll come back.“

“Tried this place for the 1st time. At the door, you notice the sign that says Military Discount. Thank you for that. Started with Egg Rolls and Spicy Edamame. Great portions, amazing flavors. Sushi had Salmon and it was very good. The ramen was Pork based ans it had a good kick. Good spicy with so much flavor. I gave the 4 stars because they have TV's and I wanted a basketball game. They couldn't change the channels for whatever reason. Asked for the bill and apply the Military Discount on the bill. The discount only applies to the Things I ate/ordered. I was there with my wife so they gave us 2 checks. It was pretty weird but oh well. But that doesn't change the fact that food was great and I want to try more items on the Menu. Good beer selection too 🍺 🍻 Enjoy!“

“My teenagers and I had the Motto Black, the Motto Red, and the Motto Special. All bowls were tasty and delicious. Noodles were fresh and the chaschu melted in your mouth. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I would recommend as a casual and family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back again.“

“Really Cool Spot. Susi is all I I have ever ordered and it is fabulous. You can pick it up to go or dine in. The People that work there are polite and efficient. (Customer service A+)
They stay open pretty late. It's perfect for that late night snack not to heavy. They advertise a low cost happy hour that had Top Shelf beers and food. Check it out.“

“We ordered two different mazemens: the Deluxe and the Kyoto. First off, the noodles were great, I loved how chewy/springy/bouncy they were.
As for the flavors, the Kyoto was decent. It was savory, but nothing really stood out. The Deluxe, however, was bursting with flavor. With just the right amount of spice and garlic, plus a few splashes of their house vinegar, I couldn’t stop eating. Toward the end of the meal, they brought out a small cup of rice that you can mix with the remaining sauce.
The service was great, parking was plentiful, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.“

“An Evening at Kin Izakaya: Where Tradition Meets Ambiance In the culinary haven that our city embodies, Kin Izakaya emerges as a sanctuary of authentic Japanese flavors combined with the convivial spirit typical of Japan’s iconic gastropubs. It’s here that tradition and modernity collide to create not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring. The moment you step through the doors of Kin Izakaya, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that’s both lively and intimately comforting. The ambient lighting, coupled with rustic décor and understated oriental motifs, offers a welcoming reprieve from the city’s hustle and bustle. The soft murmur of patrons engaged in animated conversation sets the backdrop for an authentic izakaya experience. Kin Izakaya’s menu is a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese fare and innovative culinary creations. The tapas-style dishes, perfect for sharing, encourage a communal dining experience. From the delicate flavors of their sashimi to the robust, savory notes found in their yakitori selection, there’s a delightful complexity in each dish presented. The agedashi tofu, with its perfect crispy exterior giving way to silken tofu within, is a testament to the chef’s prowess in honoring traditional flavors while serving contemporary palates.“

“Amazing, super delicious Ramen - reinvented in the U.S. so the soup is totally drinkable. If you've ever eaten Ramen in Japan, you know what I'm talking about. The dining area in-store is modern and clean, but sometimes the long waiting line can be a turn-off, at least to me.“

“Late late lunch on a really hot October afternoon.
These days, it's quite a challenge to find restaurants open mid to late afternoon (Most Japanese cuisine places frequently close to reset for dinner service).
Very simple non-fancy indoors, metal chairs and standard four-top tables, we needed a high chair which they provided.
Ordering is by QR code, and we used my phone to do that.
we asked our waiter to please separate the add-ons for Mentai Ebi Rice Bowl - a shrimp tempura with rice dish plus poached egg (for the toddler).
Brothless Ramen is quite an interesting concept - it's not a completely dry type of noodle dish, but rather served with a very rich sauce.
I got the mentaiko Cream mazesoba (Brothless ramen with chewy mochi noodle, mentaiko (Pollock fish fish roe), tobiko (Flying fish roe), spring mix (salad greens), seaweed (Nori), and green onion in a creamy sauce base).
This dish is only very mildly spicy.
I added a poached egg to my bowl. It was quite satisfying to break it and stir it into the noodles for even more creaminess!
My companion got the Spicy Deluxe Nagoya Mazesoba :
Brothless ramen with chashu (Roast pork - very tender), nori, and ajitama (Soft-boiled egg marinated in soy). Plus, spicy minced pork (it was piled high!), green onions, chives, fish powder, seaweed, garlic, and a poached egg. Free scoop of rice is for soaking up the saucy mazesoba (the menu states dine in only, but our waiter gave it to us to take home with our leftovers).
The cold tofu appetizer was so refreshing and a great starter.
Mentai takoyaki was delicious.
Also had plain edamame and French fries _ because there is no true kid's menu.
Very busy location - a lot of pedestrians and car traffic (this plaza has numerous food spots and a 99 Ranch market).“

“I’ve visited this grocery store several times (out of towner and only visit Cali once a year), but this is my first time trying Hokkaido Ramen. I kept my expectations low, since this is located in a food court, but I was surprised by the layer of flavors I could taste in this bowl of spicy ramen. By the way, THIS is the regular size, so I’m so glad I didn’t get the large size.
I liked that the toppings were served separately from the noodles and the broth. I could either dunk them in the soup before my bite, or eat them as is. The half boiled egg was soooo good with the spicy soup though!!! My tummy is so satisfied!
Granted it was a Saturday in the middle of the lunch rush, the wait was only 10 minutes. I’m so glad I made the right choice. FYI I was given a buzzer so I didn’t mind that my seat was on the opposite side of the food court.“

“Dry noodles is where it's at. The shrimp broth is too seafood-y for me. The chicken broth on the other hand was really good. Super rich. Almost tonkatsu-like. But still, stick with the dry noodles and add a bunch of the chili oil. The cod + dry noodles was excellent.“

“If I could give this restaurant more than five stars, I would! I would I’ve been a regular for a few months now. I always order the same thing~a chicken and rice bowl- and it hits every single time. The service is always fast, even on busy nights. You can see how hard the staff are working when you walk in. When I had an issue with an Uber eats delivery, the restaurant manager Tomas was really kind and helped me out! This Hiro Nori location will always have a special place in my heart! 10/10“

“I ordered from DoorDash, the food and presentation is fantastic!
BUT I’m just very confused,
how is it associated with another sushi place/restaurant in UT? J&C house?
Perhaps the manager or the owner of Chubby can help me puzzle it out?“

“The base soup is not too greasy nor salty. Larger portions than expected. Pro/con that there are only 4 types of soups to choose from. But makes sense since most Ramen places have few variety. Their salt Ramen was good but the spicy miso tasted like Mala seasoning, which I'm not a fan of. The combo is just rice + whatever topping you choose so it's simple but it tasted great to dip the rice in the Ramen soup. Only wish is for them to have takuan as a default side menu to have a refreshing taste.“

“Tucked into a quiet plaza near a karaoke bar, this ramen spot is easy to miss but a lifesaver on cold nights. The tonkotsu broth was thick and creamy, with a deep pork flavor that lingered perfectly. I got the spicy level 2—it was hot but not overwhelming. Gyoza were crisp on the outside, juicy inside. The vibe is calm and welcoming, perfect for solo diners“
