“On a Tuesday night 7pm, there is still 15 minute wait. This place is popular. You order off a QR code and the system supports multi user ordering for the same table. The skewers are tasty. I wish the skewers are spicier so next time I will put in an extra request. You get a birthday gift bag if you show your ID on the day of your birthday!”
“Excellent food every time we have been… will be back. Everything is great on their menu. 🥰 Tonight we had guest from Montreal, celebrated Mother’s Day and our 23rd Wedding Anniversary! We couldn’t be happier to eat at Vespucci. Manuela and Francesco feel like my southern Italian family. Warm, welcoming, good food and wine and genuine conversation. Love them.”
“All the food we ordered was so good. The variety menu was kind of impressive, and we loved that 😉 it's not Japanese but more Chinese. Order can made my own devices which is easy!
My understanding is that they are not accepting reservations, but I found a waiting machine when you arrived. It's better to get earlier to check on your waiting list if you want to secure your table. No outside tables for dogs too.
The place was already very crowded - about to be full at 6pm on Friday night.
The customer service level was very good, and the staff was friendly and nice.
I agree that some other people said the food was too salty, and it was indeed too salty. I hope they can put more spices on the table and customize it themselves.
I love the dessert there! They do cook and serve very fresh 😉”
“Fast friendly service. But you’ll be taking a to-go bag home for sure!! I was stuffed!!”
“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.”

“The outdoor patio was perfect for our Sunday brunch and our 18th Anniversary. We’ve celebrated many occasions at All Spice and have always had a stellar experience with the staff and the food. Our table felt intimate — we were sharing a large space with four other tables, appropriately distanced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Again, all Covid-19 compliant. The food, oh the food! The Dutch baby was perfectly cooked and the fruit fillings were gorgeous. The chicken sandwich was out of this world. The Mimosa and hard apple cider beverages were on point. We always love our meals at All Spice and this time was no exception. It’s a total gem!”
“Wanted Pho kinda late, 9pm, and when looking around this place was open late. Stopped by, as expected seated right away as only a few people in the restaurant at that time. Waitress was great, right away brought a cup of water with extra bottle table side for refills. Already knew I wanted pho, but still looked at the menu, everything looked good, if i didn't have my heart set on Pho already would of been a hard decision to make. Ordered the Beef Pho, braised oxtail broth was delicious with shredded oxtail throughout the broth. Came with the typical, bean sprouts, lime wedge, jalapeno slices and fresh basil. Added some of everything. Didn't get a picture when my food first came out as I forgot and was hungry, but remembered when 2/3 through. Can't wait to be back in the area to try some of the other menu items. Would recommend if your looking for some food Asian fusion food.”

“I really enjoyed my Friday morning visit around 10 a.m. There was about a 5-minute wait, a short line, and all the chairs were taken, lots of people standing around and the space was loud and crowded. I was meeting a friend, and even in the bustle we were able to have a wonderful conversation. By about 10:30, the crowd thinned out, and we found a table to enjoy not just our conversation but also some delicious coffee.
She ordered a flat white and loved it, saying it had a caramel-like taste. I had the Tahitian vanilla latte with oat milk (so good!) and an avocado toast. Next time, I’ll definitely order the avocado toast with an egg and try the miso latte the barista recommended.
The café has seating for maybe 15–20 people, either individually or paired up. Overall, a great spot, I’ll definitely be back!”

“Love the dry aged porterhouse, juicy and delicious. The service was phenomenal and of course the new location.”

“Fiero Cafe is truly a hidden gem in San Mateo! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the passion and authenticity behind everything they do. Filippo Guarino, the owner, pours his heart into every dish, and it shows. His handcrafted Italian food is nothing short of extraordinary, fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and the kind of attention to detail you only find in true Italian cooking.
I tried the catzo sandwich, and it was fantastic, perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. On top of the food, Filippo makes you feel like family, welcoming you with warmth and genuine hospitality.
If you’re looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in the Bay Area, Fiero Cafe is a must. Do yourself a favor and go, you’ll leave planning your next visit before you even walk out the door.”
“I enjoy coming to this place! Saul always remembers me/us and greets us warmly upon arrival! He's the best! Whether it's our work crew getting a bite for lunch to celebrating birthdays, we are always well-served and leaving the place completely stuffed. The loma saltado dishes are the best and you can also get it vegetarian. And of course you need to finish it off with their picarones. La Ronda has become my favorite spot.”
“We had an absolutely lovely experience here! Came for my boyfriend’s birthday, everyone was friendly and attentive. Fantastic high end ambience. The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!! 5 stars ⭐️”
“This place has very authentic sushi. Imported Japanese fish are fresh and flavorful. The other appetizers and rolls are excellent too. The only negative is they are very busy so our dinner felt a bit rushed. But if you are looking for good food, this place is one of the best Japanese restaurants on the peninsula.”
“My boss always bought Romolo's for office parties, and the cannolis are always so good. So when my husband and I were planning an Italian feast for our wedding, Romolo's came to mind immediately. Over the course of a few months we came in to try different cookies and cannolis. The place is super cute and the staff is so nice.
Erin, one of the owners, was so helpful and we ended up doing a mix of cannolis and cookies. We ordered 50 cannolis and a few dozen cookies for 35 guests. There were maybe 5 cannolis left which one guest took home for their family.
Our families are Italian from NY and most of them said it was the best cannoli they've had outside of NY. (They can't say it's better than a NY cannoli - that would be treason.)
Thank you Erin and team. You really helped our day feel that much more special.”

“The food service ambiance OMG AMAZING the food you can taste so fresh and tasteful quick service with a smile food was soo amazing I totally forgot to take a pic breakfast club a must try and the pancakes MUST TRY”

“We love coming to Wunderbar, and whenever we bring friends here, they love it too, and we have a blast.
Kiernan is always an incredible host from the moment we walk through the door. He is warm, fun and thoughtful. He knows his drinks and delivers a phenomenal level of service and sets a high bar - not just for Wunderbar, but for all high-end cocktail establishments.
All the bartenders are fantastic, from Selina, to Andrew, to Brandon. The drinks are always on point. And of course, the endless supply of warm buttery popcorn is a great bonus!”
“A hidden gem of a family-run Italian restaurant—don’t be misled by the humble exterior. Inside, you’re welcomed with genuine hospitality and unforgettable food. My husband and I ordered the filet of sole and the white Provini veal scallopini—both were bursting with flavor and perfectly portioned. This isn’t a place for flashy plating—it’s all about honest, delicious Italian cooking made with care. The host greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel instantly at home. The retro, moody lighting adds a cozy, nostalgic touch. We’ll definitely be back! Tip: Make a reservation—this spot stays busy, and for good reason.”
“Came here with a buddy and made out for about $50 or less. We ordered 3 rolls and split them, which was enough food for the two of us. The portions were fairly well sized and reasonably priced(for current bay area sushi prices). The fish tasted fresh, and they had plenty of options. They were not very busy and the waitress was friendly. I enjoyed the mostly wooden decor, reminded me of the more old school sushi places i grew up with. Mini bonus for me is that they are in the same spot my childhood chinese restaurant was at!”
“Bahn Mi are the best sandwiches in the universe. And these M Sandwiches are
some of the best on our planet.
If you've never had a Vietnamese sandwich, try one here and you'll surely come back again and again.
And, No!
Vietnamese sandwiches are not spicy, but simply delicious, full of fresh and pickled vegetables and your choice of meats . You can add your own slivers of fresh jalapenos, as provided on the side, if you want to spice it up a bit. Friendly, quick service, and delightful tastes and textures.”
“My group of 7 got to have a late lunch/early dinner from 3:30-5 since they don’t close after lunch - yay! We had two hot pots at this Taiwanese hot pot place. Great to have one Taiwanese in our group and also my Singaporean husband who had way more hot pot places to compare it to like DinTai Fung. They were impressed and said it more affordable than that famous chain from Taiwan. Most enjoyed/loved the spicy bone marrow broth but we also had the regular bone marrow broth and tomato and enjoyed them all - an overall good quality experience in the unlimited items in all you you can eat at the snack and sauce bar, service (with a fun waiter and robot) and atmosphere.”

“I think it must take a lot of effort to source the ingredients to be able to serve sushi of this caliber in San Francisco. It's a great honor to be a fishmonger.‼️”

Takeout Restaurants
“First of all the owners are absolutely delightful. We got take out and it blew our socks off! Hands down the best egg I have ever had in my life....Seriously, I had waited a long while to come here and when I got a reservation for my husband's birthday it was a magical, moment. We were delighted. We traveled through taste and it suspended time. Satiated and joyous. Wakuriya is the best Japanese I have had in my life. I cannot wait to dine inside, but until then I will treat myself to their fare every month. Truly, a delight of sight, smell, texture and taste. I feel lucky to live in the neighborhood, to be so close to this 魔法の場所. Much Love Everyone, may you eat well, be well and visit Wakyuriya.”
“We had the meat ravioli with bolognese sauce and a meatloaf sandwich on a soft roll. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend visiting. Parking was easy and cheap.
Vegetarian options: Cheese Ravioli, Squash Ravioli.
Parking: There are many in front as well as directly across the street.”
“I had a life changing dessert here. If you enjoy sweet potato, you must get the beniimo ice cream. The crust of the sweet potato is indescribably light and crispy, and the inside is hot and pillowy with the familiar taste of sweet potato. The vanilla ice cream compliments the hot sweet potato so well. It wasn’t oily at all even though the description says it was fried.
The skewers are also good, notably the chicken thigh and enoki mushroom wrapped in bacon. So juicy and tender and hot. Daikon salad was pretty refreshing as a palate cleanser.
We came on a Friday evening with no reservation and surprisingly got seated very quickly although there was a long waitlist. The skewers smell so good from a block away.”
“This is a Cloud Kitchen. You order online or in their touchscreen kiosk and wait for your food. It's cook to order. Tried their Mexican food Palmita. They have practically most cuisine Chinese Korean Japanese Indian Mexican Cajun American Mediterranean Italian hope I didn't miss other cuisine. I tried the Mexican first. Will be back for the other cuisine”
“Having enjoyed their dishes many times for months, It’s beyond “Very Satisfying”! Excellent, delicious food! Quality well maintained although it is a hard time under C-19. Hygiene suggestions n requests well followed! Thanks 🙏 Customer Service outstanding! Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍”
“Food was tasty and portions large. Recommend the piccata if ylike lemony flavor. Fairly small dining room with a few tables outside. Don't be deceived into not going because the reservation button says there are no tables available.”

“What we thought would be a casual Thai joint in San Mateo turned out to be one of the best veggie meals we've had in a long time. Our group of three split a couple of mainstay dishes including their Papaya Salad, Tom Kha with Tofu, and entrees such as their Fried "Fish" and Minced Basil Soymeat. Everything came in large portions that we were barely able to finish most of them without taking a few bites home. The salad and tom kha were my two favorites - each having so much depth and flavor to each dish. The mock fish was also a standout and really goes well with a serving of rice, so don't forget to order some. Looks like they used to be a fully vegetarian/vegan restaurant but have since started serving animal products. Despite that, I encourage anyone to give them a try because their food and service were fantastic.”
“I found authentic sushiya in Bay area!
I went here for the first time and I enjoyed my dinner. They have great selections day by day with special fishes that I’ve never tried before.
Everything were very fresh and price were reasonable. I will definitely come back later to try different seasonal fishes.”
“Used to go here basically every Thursday for dinner (I have a class Thursday night and it was easier), and every single time I went there it was incredible. The portions are incredibly generous, the food itself is an 11/10, and authentic too! Staff are incredibly kind, and even got to know me and my parents after a while. I miss going there, I’ll try and support them again.
P.S. They give free chips and salsa with every order if you remember to pick them up! Don’t forget about those!”
“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.”
“Loved our experience here! The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch.
* Food: The ramen is delicious and packed with flavor. We got the veggie and curry ramen and would recommend both. Great to see clear vegetarian and vegan options available.
* Ordering & Service: You order from a tablet at your table, which is convenient and lets you customize your bowl extensively. The staff is very friendly and our food came out fast. A nice perk is the free hot tea and water you can add to your order.
* Price: It's pretty standard for prices these days. You're paying for high-quality ingredients and a great meal.
Definitely recommend giving them a try!”
“Super happy to have found Minako and Yoko-san again! Yoko-san's cooking is still homie, comforting, and delicious as ever. Be sure to come visit, relax, be delighted by the carefully made dishes from Yoko-san, be awed by the handwritten menus, and enjoy the chats with Minako!”
“Me encanto les pedí un pastelito para mi niño y ellos le cantaron las mañanitas .no lo esperaba me gustó mucho!!!”

“Town of Dumpling – San Mateo
I’ve lived in San Mateo my whole life and somehow never tried Town of Dumpling until now — no idea how I missed it, but I’m really glad I finally went. The food was seriously delicious. The soup dumplings especially were a standout — super flavorful, juicy, and perfectly done. You could tell everything was made fresh and with care.
Prices were totally fair too, which was a nice surprise given how high quality everything was. It’s just one of those spots that does great food without trying too hard to be “trendy.”
Definitely coming back. Can’t believe I slept on this place for so long.”
“Guys and gals, if this is a dream I don't wanna wake up! I'm at the Mountain Mike's partaking of their Buffet offer. It doesn't make it clear enough on their website but the Buffet Deal comes with a salad and a soda. And their pizza- oh, their pizza! Out of this world. I cannot recommend it highly enough.”
“Still the best kept secret in San Mateo. I’m moving tomorrow and this food is what I’m going to miss the most. The portions are generous, the price is affordable, the service can’t be beat. Cash only. Small parking lot. Family owned and operated. The carne asada is delicious! Actually I haven’t had a bad meal here. Take away is available. You won't be disappointed . Skip the la cumbre and pancho villa. Come get the best!”
“Awesome place for a quick snack. Super easy to order on the app and have ready in minutes. Never disappoints. Its a little dreary when you walk inside but other than that the place is great. I'm sure it's more bustling during a weekday lunch time, just never been there around that time”
“I'm obsessed with Ramen Dojo! Being just 15 minutes from my place, I finally took the plunge and tried it after months of recommendations.
The service is great, and the Ramen is AMAZING! I've tried 4 different plates, and each one is a favorite. I'm hooked now - definitely worth checking out!”

“It looks like a small place from the outside, but the inside is big and the food is delicious. Very strongly suggested.”
“Enjoyed omakase 8pcs with some age dashi tofu, nigori sake and the white peach panna cotta!”

“The staff was so so helpful and accommodating with my baby and stroller. It's a tight space inside but they seated us in a very comfortable spot where I could park my stroller and they were all very kind (and adorable and silly with the baby). I'm very grateful!!”
“Have you ever had Fujian cuisine before? Now you can at Taste of Shaxian in San Mateo! All of the dishes were very simple, but surprised us with a lot of flavor! Whether you're a fan of dumplings or not, this place has good ones and a bunch of other must-try dishes all priced very reasonably. For 2 people, we ordered just enough to be comfortably full.
* Shaxian Wonton Soup
* Soup Dumplings Combo
* Spicy Cold Noodles (highly recommend!)
* Braised Chicken (bone in) Clay Pot w/ Rice (highly recommend!)”

“Was greeted & seated promptly. Welcomed by Manager Hung. Brittany was our waitress & we received the 20th Anniversary Sacks. Happy Anniversary.”
“Delicious authentic Brazilian food with amazing service . Fun experience too!”
“The do called "inclusive" atmosphere is really just an owner who hates everyone who has different views. If your social or political views are woke, you aren't welcome. Spend your money elsewhere. This guy is an idiot.”
“Went to lunch there today Food very tasty and this looks like it would be a fantastic Happy Hour Meet Up!!!!”
“It was perfect for an evening with family and friends, visiting from Germany it was an excellent American brewery experience and we recommend this to everyone especially with kids. Food was outstanding.”
“Delicious and authentic Hunan noodles with lots of options for proteins. They allow for self-serve cilantro and green onions with fast service and kind staff with customers ordering on a phone.
I only wish there were more vegetables inside the soup”
“An unexpected delight! The very unassuming exterior houses delicious food, good sized portions, pleasant service, and a very low bill. The sweet and sour chicken and spicy wontons were especially tasty. Would highly recommend!”
“Yvette, the owner of Swing Shift, has cooked, owned and managed restaurants, AND has traveled extensively. She has brought those experiences to Swing Swift and created a “Greatest Hits” menu. My favorite? The tacos from Mexico City are to die for! Chicharrones give them texture and the tortillas are sublime. Not your usual CalMex tacos. My wife could live on rice. She fell in love with the 5 Spice Fried Rice. The pork belly is tasty, not fatty. And a fried egg finishes the dish. Yvette’s burger isn’t from her travels, it’s from her chef’s brain. She marries spices and cheese and high quality beef to create a new burger experience. Ya gotta try it! While we were there, a regular customer walked in, the staff greeted him and said, “Gumbo?” “Yes.” “Anything else?” “No.” He’s in there all the time, JUST for the gumbo. It will remind you of New Orleans. On a personal note, my mother and grandmother used to challenge each other to chili cook-offs and both their chilis were superb. Mom, Grandma, don’t let Yvette join the contest. Her chili is that good! My wife liked the wine list and I was surprised to find mock-tails (try the Sour!) that were actually good, and not just a mishmash of ingredients like so many places. And they take reservations….yay!”
“The best place to eat and takeover for the days I don’t want to cook, friendly, clean with delicious and affordable dishes… loved food, the owners care is super friendly and I recommend this experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🚀”
“Love the food n the people who works there. ❤️papaya salad, pad thai. Fried pompano and ground chicken with basil Aroy mak mak 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️”
“Amazing service, food and drinks are fantastic! We were helped by a server Logan, she’s been the best part of the experience at Tokie’s. Fish is super fresh, I highly recommend getting Tokie’s roll and seared scallops (aburi sushi). Yum! Can’t wait to come back.”
“Urban Momo San Mateo is a true delight for anyone craving Nepali and Indian flavors. Every dish we tried; from momo and choila to chicken chilly, naan curry, and biryani was packed with authentic taste. The staff are warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. If you’re in the area, this place is an absolute must-try!”
“Food was delicious 😋 I gave it a 2 because my Kung po chicken was in much needed of more chicken. All I could taste was chestnuts, zucchini, bell peppers and sauce. Flavor was there tho... I'll still be a regular here, best chinese spot.”
“Solidly delicious! The prime rib was great. The Yorkshire pudding and crème brûlée were also standout highlights. In my opinion, it’s not quite on the same level as House of Prime Rib, but it comes pretty close — and it’s way easier to snag a reservation.”
“The sushi presentation was excellent and made me excited to dig in! Very unique and delicious assortment of sushi and flavors. I felt that the takeout sushi was more economical than if you were do a sit-down omakase at another location in the bay. Pick-up was quick and smooth.
It would have been great if I had recieved confirmation email within a week, instead of following up with the business. However, I understand that this a small business and it can be hectic for the owner to manage communications, logistics and sushi prep for several customers.”
“Thank you for the fresh Uni, and very awesome customer service. Highly recommend!!!”
“Great food and great people. I always have excellent service and great food when I eat there.”
“The best place to eat and takeover for the days I don’t want to cook, friendly, clean with delicious and affordable dishes… loved food, the owners care is super friendly and I recommend this experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🚀”
“These are the best tasting cupcakes I have ever had! So delicious seriously! Other “fancy” cupcake shops do not come close. I would break my keto diet to have one of these. I no longer live in their area but they are so good!”
“The Best PASTRAMI!! Could not believe how juicy and tasty it was. From a low of 1 to a high of 10, it just breaks the ceiling at a score of 11. I was happy to see a lot of choices for drinks. Make sure you save space for the Baked Pudding. Excellent service from our server, Oliver! It was my first time and he gave the right recommendations. Fast and friendly service too. He would often pass by to check on us. And my group was a bit demanding by asking for napkins, then spoons. Thank you. I give it 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Outstanding on the food, just wow just amazing I give this place four stars. From the friendly service to the outstanding food. Great all around..!!!!”
“Vegetable fried dumplings, soy sauce noodles, and green onion pancakes were all incredibly good. Staff was supremely helpful, kind, and personable. Highly recommend!”
“Cozy little Japanese restaurant with super friendly servers. The owner works at the counter. I come for Ishiyaki Hitsumamushi (Stone Bowl Seafood Rice) which I don’t think is served anywhere else. I also had tuna bone marrow for appetitzer and black sesame cheesecake for dessert. So many other dishes I want to try so will be back.”
“Hadn’t been here in nearly 30 years, we moved to Seattle, but back for vacation. Had to have the Cancun platter. Just like I remembered!!”
“Me encanta yo trabaje ahi y que delicia y cuando sos cliente más rica”
“Excellent Cadillac margaritas!! Service and food is always great.”
“These are the best most authentic pupusas in the area. Great prices as well. I’m glad I found them. Delicious. A little small , just a few tables so best for take out.”
“This place was one that I have been wanting to try for awhile, we went in and the restaurant itself was beautiful, perfect for a date night or night out with friends. The food itself was really good, the highlights for me were the pancit bihon and the adobo (which had a thick and flavorful sauce). Crispy pata was okay but such a small portion for the price. The calamansi juice was enjoyable but lacked a necessary tartness for me. It felt slightly diluted and maybe too much added sugar. My lola approved of the lumpia as well.
My main take aways from this place were the very high price point(which isn’t too awful considering atmosphere and food quality but still), and the overall service. The service was okay enough to be acceptable but our waiter in short took our order and we never saw her again. The food was brought out by kitchen and our water was refilled by the bartender. The bartender also got our check and boxes. It was pretty slow but I don’t know if our waiter went on break or something but there was a period of time where we wanted to ask for things but we had no waiter and weren’t sure if we were supposed to ask the bartender.
Overall a good spot, would recommend for smaller parties but maybe not the best for accommodating big families with higher maintenance tables.”
“Service is not so great. There's one guy at the register who is rude. But their vegetarian dry ramen is incredibly tasty and we love the well stocked salad bar.”
“Everything so tasty. Chicken karage and butakakuni tasked so good.”
“No wait to be seated upon opening on a Friday night, ordered right away with no expectations. Star of the show: KFC. Wow!!
My new favorite Korean fried chicken in the Bay Area, the spicy glaze was incredible and really reminded me of Korea. Definitely coming back more often for those!! Really enjoyed the Ttoekboki as well, very flavorful and lovely spiciness level. Will try the Bulgogi fries next!”
“best Pizza in SF :)”
“Each meal I’ve had here has been consistently fresh and well-prepared. Did I mention delicious? The staff is friendly and attentive.”
“I don't know why people complain, it's a small space, the workers need to pay attention to the food and the truth is, the food is very delicious. I hope it continues to be the business.”
“We had such a great meal at Marketplace Café! After the long shopping the arugula and prosciutto pizza was amazing—the crust was perfectly baked, very interesting combination of flavors. For the kids we ordered the mac and cheese, and it came out creamy, cheesy (they loved it!). We finished with the strawberry shortcake, and honestly it’s the best I’ve ever had— fresh strawberries and a buttery biscuit that was just perfect. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy spot inside Nordstrom”
“(Translated by Google) Nice little place but very good food and good prices highly recommend(Original)Un lugar agradable pequeño pero muy buena comida y buenos precios lo recomiendo mucho”
“Not my usual sushi diner, but we wanted to try out a new place. This restaurant has 2 stories with a staircase.
The service was average. The serving staff couldn’t speak English. We didn’t know Spanish so we had to communicate with body language to ask for some water. The staff that actually took our orders knew English, but he was missing the first 10 minutes, counting from when we finished scanning the menu.
The food was very good. Fresh sashimi and sushi rolls. The only thing that could be improved was the plain udon. As far as I know, even Japanese plain udon contains seaweed, fish cakes and tempura crumbs. This one had none. Literally, just udon and broth, not even chopped green onions.
Vegetarian options: They have veggie dishes, look for the descriptions.
Parking: Free parking after 6pm
Kid-friendliness: Kid’s high chairs and plastic utensils
Wheelchair accessibility: I think first floor dining area is for disabilities and elders.”
“Chef Zhao stands out for serving one of the most delicious and truly traditional Kung Pao chicken dishes around—perfectly balanced with spice, sweetness, and that signature wok aroma that many other places miss. 🐔🌶️ The soft tofu and crab meat is also a highlight, with a smooth, delicate texture and rich seafood flavor that’s both unique and satisfying. 🦀🍳 A must-try for fans of authentic Chinese flavors! 😋🥢
Plenty of free street parking behind the restaurant.”
“My favorite hot pot place of all time. Highest quality meat for the price, love the Tonkotsu broth, and love ponzu sauce. The American Kobe beef is a must get! Definitely an underrated place!”
“Really good food! I got two bowls and they were both so flavorful. Everything was really fresh and delicious. Sweet potato salad that comes on the side is delicious!!”
“Outstanding Indian food in a casual and cozy location. The food here is probably the best Indian food I've had anywhere. We had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo with garlic naan. Both dishes were authentic tasting and superbly prepared. Neither dish was overpowering in spices or heat. You could tell fresh spices, seasonings and ingredients were used. Servings were ample too.”
“Awesome !!!!!! The best pizza parlor in San Francisco ! My favorite either King Arthur or Hawaiian pizza w/extra pineapple ”
“I deliver custom cabinets in Silicon Valley from Bend Oregon and when I’m in North Bay I always eat here. Always fabulous food for me and my German Shorthair Pointer. Room to park for my huge delivery van. I have never got anything bad for last 6 yrs it’s always been great”
“Rolled into town on a Wednesday, looking to book a late night party on the upcoming Saturday. Monica behind the bar grabbed the owner Malhi from next door. They were both super helpful and made it easy. Had a great time with good drinks. Even pumped our own music through their sound system. Nice looking place with chill vibe.”

“We went there for Thanksgiving for the first time. As a vegetarian, I can say I had many options, and what I chose was outstanding. My wife and daughter enjoyed their fish and meat dishes and I can honestly say there wasn’t one dish that wasn’t outstanding. I heartily recommend this place and I’m considering going back for Christmas if they’re open.”
“Decent selection of meat, seafood and veggies. I prefer the traditional 'communal' hotpot where you are offered better quality meat. This place is good for a quick fix for me just to get a taste of hotpot. There is only a few condiments unlike the typical place where you have over a dozen to fix your own dipping sauce.
$15.99/lb can get pricing if you are a big eater.”

“I went there with my wife, she absolutely loved the place. A great place to spend time with your partner or friends. Very cozy and warm vibes. Plenty of space outside and tables inside. Amazing greek food, vegetarians and vegans got options as well. The staff are lovely and super kind. I’d suggest making a reservation before going there. Well deserved 5 stars.”
“I lowkey think the mini chocolate croissant is the sleeper hit here. Pretzel croissant dough for a little extra chew and some salt to contrast and bring out the chocolate 🤌😚
Also complies with my harm reduction diet, 12oz coffee cup for scale. The back patio is lovely as well.”
“Gonna give it 4 stars because while the aburasoba is good I'd like them to make mazesoba too, which has more complex ingredients, preparation, and flavor. Mogomogu in Sawtelle, LA sets the benchmark for great mazesoba on the west coast.”
