We had spicy pork bimbimbap, dynamite roll, chicken ramen and salmon avocado roll. The Ginger dressing is homemade and so so delicious!!!!”

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “Oh my gosh!! What a delicious meal we just had!! We found several gift cards in a drawer and visited Outback Steakhouse in Shelton. The outdoor seating area was perfect! The server, James, was very attentive and helpful. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and was wonderful! My scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection and the Cajun seasoning was spot on. Keith's steak was cooked just as he requested. The portions were terrific! My cheesecake was smooth and yummy and Keith's chocolate dessert was a real treat. I wish I knew who gave us the gift card as I'd love to thank them!! I hope you'll consider patronizing Outback Steakhouse in Shelton!! We'll definitely be back!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼”

Nice crust, just enough toppings and again, that sauce! Fried calamari was tender & crispy. 6 nice size shrimp in the cocktail. If I had anything to complain about it would be the cocktail sauce was a bit wimpy for my taste. More horseradish, guys! Lol Service was super, empty glasses and plates were removed after we finished. Cozy atmosphere, nice music at a good volume. I highly recommend the place! <3”

Also, the newest manager whose name is Linda is very professional and efficient and the kindest of any manager that we have encountered.”

“Randomly stumbled upon Gaetanos in Westport yesterday when looking for a place to get sandwiches before my son’s baseball game. Having grown up in Belmont Little Italy for the first 22 years of my life I was skeptical about the “Arthur Ave style..” claim on the sign. Well I can tell you they delivered and then some! Was warmly greeted, handled samples of delicious cheeses and more. They were too skeptical when I said I grew up on Arthur Ave but once we started chatting they knew I wasn’t BSing. Saw familiar faces and reminisced about life on Arthur Ave. The owners are warm and kind - the real deal keeping it true to the Arthur Ave spirit. Dare I say they might even do it better!! I can’t say enough about the excellent food and service. If I ever find myself in Westport again I will certainly make a visit! Aside from my son’s team’s win, this nostalgic experience truly made my day and made me feel like I was back home in the Bronx when life was more simple. And yes, everything we ordered and sampled was delicious! No skin on the eggplant and bread from Addeo - doesn’t get any better!”

“Chops Taco food truck came to my workplace today so we decided to place an order. We ordered the mango habanero & pork carnitas tacos to share.. cannot mix the choices :( .. I wanted to try their crunchwrap but it wasn't available ...Also, the prices are standard for a taco truck ( 3 tacos for $12 ). These are not made like authenic mexican tacos ( cilantro & onion / green chile sauces / sides for decor ) but it was really good! Similar to how I make mine sometimes, toasted with cheese. I will definitely check it out at their location in Shelton one of these days or if they come back to my job ??”

We had a variety of flavors, vanilla, chocolate, funfetti, cookies and cream, lemon, and banana. Every flavor was amazing. Our guests were obsessed. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! Thank you, family, and thank you Caloroso team for helping to make the day a cherished lifelong memory!!”

Our all time favorite is the Malin salad with grilled chicken. The balsamic vinaigrette is to die for. Also they have the best chicken salad wraps & turkey club wrap with chipotle mayo. All their sandwiches are great! Do yourself a favor & stop in for lunch, you will not be disappointed!”

“First time ordering here but we were all tired & no one wanted to cook & this was nearby. I was scared to order after reading some of these reviews. But we were all pleasantly surprised. Yes it’s standard Chinese fare but it was good. There was a lot of meat in every dish we ordered (Lo Mein, chicken chow Mein, pork fried rice, sweet & sour chicken) and it was perfectly cooked. I didn’t care for the fried wontons but everyone else liked them. Wonton soup had plenty of wontons and was yummy. Loved the sweet & sour chicken - very lightly fried so it wasn’t heavy & dull. We all voted we would go here again.”

I was actually blown away by how good this was. The meat was fresh, not slimy like most deli meat is and they were very very generous with toppings. The person working was super nice and patient and took his time making the sandwiches. I was impressed by how clean it was too. This was more of a good deli feel as opposed to a chain sandwich place. “My heritage is Italian and for the majority of my life I lived in a Italian community in NY. When I moved ti Shelton Connecticut, I found myself in search of a good Italian Restaurant! My search ended when I found Matto’s Wine bar in Shelton. My waitress immediately tended to our every need. Her name was Chelsea and she took the time to explain to us how the items we were interested in were prepared. She gave us great recommendations and never rushed us to order. I love margaritas so my drink order was easy. My wife on the other hand likes sweet and unusual drinks. Chelsea recommended a drink with Italian ice in it and my wife was in Heaven! I can assure you that the food is delicious and definitely authentic Italian. The meatballs were phenomenal as was my veal cutlet and my wife’s pasta. Though they were extremely busy the manager, Mr. Ricky Rosario was out on the floor helping serve customers. If I even looked his wsy he came to our table to see if we needed anything. I honestly felt like royalty as they couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this establishment as the good and service were outstanding. Ask for Chelsea as your waitress though they are all equally good.”

“hi i wanna say upfront i doordashed this to a hotel room so i cant speak to service or atmosphere but i didnt wanna give it an unfair rating. i got a small pepperoni pizza and chicken fingers. the pizza was deliciously greasy but not overly so and the crust was crunchy 😋 the chicken tenders were okay. not amazing not bad. they were crunchy but idk they just tasted like freezer food which they probably are. however if i lived in the area i would probably get the pizza again”
