“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5”

“What a fantastic meal my husband and our son had. Son has been to many restaurants around the world and we all thoroughly enjoyed this one. We tried many different dishes and split them . These included the sour dough bread , liver pate, Sussex smokie, mackerel and of course had a delicious dessert after. The service and the food were fantastic.”

Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. Located in prime real estate, this bar has an upstairs and a downstairs big enough for the entire family. Incredible food, incredible people, and just a great place to visit. “I went for the first time yesterday for happy hour. I've been craving oysters. I was not disappointed. The bartender was great, the bar crowd was fun, food fantastic and drinks were perfect. Will definitely be a regular at this spot!”

“I had an Alma birthday gift card so it was time to use it on a Saturday night. We had a reservation at 6 but arrived earlier to enjoy the Bar and some apertivos. A good list/variety of Cocktails including Zero. Dan is the Man and not only made drink recommendations but navigated the menu for us. Lessons in Alliteration and the Mezcal y Manaca were my favorites, Guayabita and Vieja Escuela were also enjoyed.

We started with the Patacon Salvaje -Calamari, avocado etc-just wanted to look at it as it was a work of art-tasty, Tequenos-their version of cheese sticks-the Guayaba sauce takes it over the top!

First course-Alma Caesar salad-order it! Brussel sprouts, kimchi dressing-enough said, Caribe Atomico-have never had scallops (thinly sliced) this way before and loved it-the sauce wants to be spicy but stops at savory and the rice cracker complimented nicely-basically a Ceviche and another must try.

Entrees-based on recommendation went with the Solomo Criollo (prime NY strip)-came out medium rare as ordered and Yuca with Chimichurri was a perfect side.
The Duck Attolado stole the show! Exquisite spiced Duck breast
over a bed of rice similar to Paella-delicious!

Service was attentive and engaged-Kez took great care of us. Prices are at a premium and rightfully so as you won’t find these creations on every corner. Perfect spot for date night!”

My friends and I went to Costiera to celebrate a friend’s birthday and not only was the food delicious but the service was truly outstanding. Our server took special care of our pregnant friend with food and non-alcoholic drink considerations and they were so accommodating in allowing us time to finish our meal and enjoy coffee and desert. Go to Costiera it will not disappoint!”

Loved learning the Restaurant is Black Woman Owned and supported other local Black Businesses like having the TAHARKA Bros Ice Cream in the menu! We recommend the Butter Pecan or Roasted Strawberries. I didn’t mind the automatic gratuity because the service was phenomenal and should be rewarded. Katie was personable, extremely friendly and her recommendations DID NOT miss! So proud of the community and environment that has been curated here. “We need to discuss this place. This is a goddamn gem. Im not even vegan. But I heard good things and went for my bday. The ambiance is a total vibe. It feels classy inside. The plants, the portraits. Old style cool. The food was downright delicious. We tried a ton of appetizers. The stand out was the Crab Cakes made with lions mane mushrooms. This was amazing in how it tasted like a delicious crab cake. Also the spicy roasted potatoes were great. I had the vodka pasta and really I cant believe all of it was vegan. For dessert we tried the sticky toffee pudding and I couldnt stop eating it. Besides the fantastic food, the cocktails were well made and tasty. Their bartender must be exceptional. We had a great time and would definitely return. The wait staff and servers were all personable and friendly. We all loved the place. Thank you!”

“This was my first visit to this Subway as it is inside the Exxon station and easy to miss. The employees were very friendly, the subs were tasty, and mostly made to order. I placed the order online, so they may have missed the request to make the bacon crispy.

This location accepts coupons / offers in the app. I would recommend this location.”

“I’ve been wanting to try this place but isn’t exactly the safest spot in the city. Well not sure if I hit it at the right time or what but this was the best LC pizza I’ve eaten in a long time…. It’s an Express location so the food is prepared and you just walk up and take what you want. I grabbed one of the 4 piece deep dish pep for lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly…. I’ve been to a lot of LC and most are made pretty shotty and horrible….but this was primo!! Place should be commended!!”

“A little past midnight, I looked for a 24/7 Subway and placed an order through the app while in my car. Although the estimated pickup time was 12:34 AM, the employee noticed me waiting and hurried to prepare my order, allowing me to receive it 10 minutes early, which I appreciated.

This location is inside a gas station, so there is no seating available, making it strictly a carry-out location. Additionally, the employee preparing the sandwiches was not very friendly and did not acknowledge me until the end of the transaction, he was curt but professional enough. Aside from the service attitude, everything else about my experience and the food was great.”

“Open 24/7 which is great! However the atmosphere is somwhat... lacking? There are no seats and there is a giant glass partition between you and the workers. Regardless, the workers were very friendly and helpful and the food turned out good. I will be going back soon.”

“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

Service was awesome I was there 5/21 and sitting on the first floor outside the server was amazing but sadly I can’t remember the young girls name she was tall and skinny. “The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. The Dive is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood”

Amazing menu , amazing choices and hands down the best pizza I’ve had in a long time . The food and ingredients were all so fresh and tasted amazing. “Went for the first time with a coworker for lunch and he suggested the jambalaya, we got there just as they opened so no one else was there besides us. He got the chicken jambalaya and I got the seafood and let me tell you it was AMAZING!! It was way too much for lunch I felt like I needed a nap after eating all that but man it was fantastic. The shrimp mussels and catfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the rice delicious I couldn't wait to take the next bite. Will definitely be going back and taking others with me to experience this place. The price is exactly what you should expect for this quality and type of food, it was delicious and the service was fantastic so yeah you pay for that this isn't your local Dennys thank God. I love finding places like this then sharing with others so glad my coworker shared it with me.”

The menu I was looking at was mostly breakfast and brunch. The price range was about $15 on up. I got a gingerale and their house wings as well as fries. Everything was good.. My bill was $21. The waitress was very attentive and nice and gave recommendations. I would recommend checking this place out. It had a nice atmosphere.”

“I love the mamas on the half shell in Owings Mills. The food is great and I am a frequent diner. I love Mary, Alaina, and Gavin the best. They are so courteous and customer service orientated. The crab soup there and the cream of crab is to die for. Also love their coddies! The restaurant is beautiful and I also love sitting outside as well. Always seems very clean. “🥰 MR. AMIR and his family are absolutely lovely people. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!”

She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. After reading the menu I was worried about the spice level, there is no where to request the spice level and I am 2 levels below frank red hot spice. Lol. I ordered the Gotham City bowl with no crazy sauce, extra white sauce and added Falafels. It wasn't spicy, had loads of flavor and was huge! My daughter got the Chicken Quesadilla, Tandoori chicken which she loves. The food was packaged up nicely with no mess and stapled.
