“My favorite restaurant in Winston-Salem! Healthy food choices, the ingredients are always fresh, and a unique menu.“

“Normally a solid restaurant, but last visit was fairly disappointing. This was the first time I ordered from the brunch menu. The bacon was basically candied, which was not my favorite and the deviled eggs with pimento cheese were really salty. The poached eggs in the breakfast bowl were very watery, which was off-putting and the grits were strangely gigantic and super soft, although they tasted good. I'd only ever gotten lunch or dinner there before, so I probably will be sticking with that moving forward instead of the brunch. Important to know that this is an open kitchen, so if you're in the main dining room, it's almost impossible to hear anyone else in your party. If you want to be able to have a conversation, see if there's seating available outside of the main area.“

“I have always loved Grandma Ruby's but now that my homegirl Jana is there, it's always better, you got to go see her because she just makes the place so much better. it was great before. it's just so much better now. not to mention they have amazing food, they always have. it's just a good little country cookin' spot right there on University. if you've never had it, you have to go try it. you will not regret it.“

“I've been here several times and it's always been a good experience. The service is always 10/10 and they have great burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers also. I also like the weekly specials. There are always interesting new dishes to try, from cheeseburger quesadillas to rueben egg rolls. My favorite items here are the Philly cheesesteak and pimento cheese and bacon burger. Definitely worth checking out if you're ever in the area.“

“Went to the Culver's on Fairlawn. There was a young man taking out orders, taking orders to customers tables. He wad a ball of energy. Had a great personality to boot. The food was great, the service was great. All around awesome experience.“

“We came to the restaurant today, Saturday November 8th. We aren’t from Winston, we are actually from Hickory NC and was in town for a party. I will be honest, we were first going to Texas Roadhouse and a last minute look online I found this place. Upon arrival, I was hesitant because there wasn’t many cars in the parking but I am so glad we went in. We got out of the car and they were playing 94.1 which is what we are listening to in the car. The waitress we had was awesome! She had only been there 6-7 weeks she said but she was amazing. The food was very good, especially the Spinach artichoke dip! 10/10 recommend this place! I am a firm believer in tipping and we made sure to give this waitress the tip she deserved. I wish I knew her name….“

“Delicious food here — enjoyed our evening, spoiling our son with a last dinner with us before dropping him off at college. \n\nI had a trout dinner which was great, and the Brussel sprouts appetizer. My wife loved the veggie entree and my son had a mixed grill. The menu changes apparently pretty often. Good service too“

“I wanted to eat at a location that had tv, maybe music and simple food. As I entered i immediately knew it was a sports bar. The decor will definitely let you know. I wanted to seat at the bar to eat. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. They offer a menu deal before 6pm, which i took. A Philly cheese steak and a salad. The location was spacious and the atmosphere was chill. I will return again.“

Got the Rise&Shine Breakfast, which had scrambled eggs, patty and link sausage, nice size biscuit and home fries. They have grape and strawberry jellies.Always seem to miss the 1st floor elevator that goes down to the ground floor, also known as the basement where Silas Creek Kitchen is located. I'm not the only one to ask "where's the cafeteria?"“

“A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“

“I've had occasion to eat at Johnny B's since it first opened. All in all it's a great restaurant, the seating is comfortable, the staff is pleasant and efficient, the food is great, and it's very clean. My only negative comments would concern the volume of the music in the background. When you go in for breakfast, or any time really, you don't need the music turned up as loud as it always is. My other negative comment concerns the fact that they are out of tea bags for hot tea quite often. If tea bags don't come when ordered there is a Food Lion right across the parking lot where a box could be purchased. These are minor items overall, and they won't stop us from dining there, but it would be nice to have these issues addressed.“

“I have to say, the customer service here was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly, beautiful young lady named Danaisa with a warm smile. She had such a great sense of humor—when I asked her to say "hi" again, she laughed and did it without hesitation! I mentioned that I had been to two other restaurants that day, and neither offered service like this. The moral of the story? If you don’t get treated the way I did by Danaisa, walk right out!

Overall, I had fast and efficient service, and the entire staff, including the management, was incredibly welcoming and nice. Truly a wonderful experience!“

“I stopped in to pick up a Baja Turkey Burger for my Mom. She Loves their Turkey Burgers. Her appetite is poor, since, her Stage 4 Cancer could, no, longer be treated. The treatment caused adverse, effects. My Daughters paid her a visit, during, Christmas of 22 and discovered it on the menu. They purchased it. My Mom Loved it and has desired another, since. Today is a great day for her! Thanks for offering and preparing fresh, farm to table options.“
