“I had a wonderful experience here celebrating someone’s birthday! The staff were very attentive and every dish was a hit.
We splurged for the 14 day aged duck and it was so worth it — it’s now my favorite duck I’ve had in NYC! I’d recommend coming with st least 4 people if you order it.
The pan con tomate and frog legs were surprise hits for me, and I loved the chai tres leches cake for dessert.“

“Williamsburg was largely unimpressive until I tried this place. I was there for breakfast and their French toast is the best I've ever had so far. Not your typical toast where you pour syrup on top. This bread is perfectly moist and sweet and does not require syrup. There is a creme topping you can pour over that made for the perfect combo. There are so many places that claim best pancakes, best French toast, etc. French toast, here, is a must. Now I want to come back and see about the pancakes. For savory, we got the merguez omlette. I am not a huge sausage (the sausage not pork, might have been beef) fan, but this was really flavorful and I would absolutely order again. I am usually not excited about brunch, but this place does it for me. And, the ambiance is excellent. I love the exposed brick and overall decor. I could not stop commenting on how positive the experience was and how much I want to return. And, I am one of those people where virtually every place is forgettable except the ones that are not. This is my current #1 for breakfast/brunch until further notice. Highly recommend for all occasions (and that you make reservations in advance). Definitely going back soon!“

“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“This place is a tiny little jam with great service and small bites. Everything was tasty from the Hamon to the Wago beef tartar, Hamachi crudo, Seabass ceviche and the spaghetti. Wines were excellent, especially the Chablis and Chateauneuf-du-pape. Place ain’t cheap so fasten your seatbelts.“

“One of the best meals we have had in NYC. Claud completely delivered: intimate room, great energy, excellent service, a serious wine list, and food that was creative without feeling forced. The scallop skewer with lardo, spinach and artichoke mille-feuille, chicken liver agnolotti, and Dover sole with Chartreuse and lemon were all outstanding. We also loved the Boisson Rully, which paired beautifully with the meal. The devil’s food cake was a perfect finish. Easily a 10/10 date-night spot and one of our new favorite restaurants in the city.“

“Loved my first dining experience here. I strongly suggest you make reservations ahead. When my brother and I arrived there were no open tables available. We ended up eating at the bar. The only drawback to sitting at the bar was the noise.
The service was fabulous. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. Our bartender was also attentive to make sure we were okay.
We started with KFC (Kanto Fried Chicken). It was super moist with a nice crispy exterior. The dipping suace pairs well with the chicken. Then we had Chicken Adobo with garlic fried rice. When it arrived our server prepared our meal in front of us. Lastly, we ordered the Lechon platter. When they discovered my brother is allegic to seafood they came out twice to confirm if certain ingredients were acceptable to use. The Lechon Platter was worth every penny. It was delicious and the dipping sauce added to the flavor.“

“Possibly my favorite restaurant in New York. I used to live within walking distance and it was my go to spot for years. Now I make a point to go whenever I'm on the LES. The wine list is excellent and I love their cheese, charcuterie, and salads. I like to sit outside there when the weather is warm“

“I came here as part of a group of four and we ordered one of everything off the menu to share. It feels like upscale Chinese tapas, perfect for sharing with friends, maybe difficult to come as a solo diner for a meal. Everything was incredible, a wonderful spin on Chinese cuisine while still being faithful to classic ingredients. My only mild complaint is that the music is on the loud side, and the chopsticks are form over function. It’s hard to pick anything up with them.“

“My second time at Justine’s, and it continues to impress. I love their creative menu, which changes with the seasons and puts a real emphasis on fresh ingredients. This time I started with a lovely tamarind crudo before moving on to a wonderfully tender chicken served with morels and wilted ramps. Both dishes were excellent and really showcased what they do so well here. Service is always great, and I also appreciate their thoughtful wine program. They have a really nice selection of wines by the glass and are refreshingly generous with their pours. Just a really solid neighborhood restaurant that I’m always happy to return to.“

“Musette Wine bar is a great spot, be it in the morning for some coffee and a breakfast sandwich or later in the evening for wine and finger foods.
The wine bar itself has a rather intimate atmosphere where it's nice and cozy in the morning or down right romantic in the evening hours.
The staff are all kind, amiable and are very happy to provide service with a smile. With the owner himself making appearances and checking in with customers to make sure they are happy.
If you want a spot that you can grab a coffee and bagle before work and a after hours glass of wine to unwind with, look no further“

“Amazing and interesting menu. Each dish was exciting and fun. We realized after our meal that we accidentally ordered and ate all vegetarian. Get the cheezits and the squash rings! The schnitzel was delicious as was the carrot hummus. Whatever that chocolate caramel dessert with marshmallow on top is… GET IT! Maybe get two.“

“Really enjoyed this meal. The burrata was super fresh and the grilled peppers were cooked perfectly, bringing a nice smoky flavor. The veggies honestly stole the show, especially the broccolini, which was really well done. Everything we ordered was solid across the board. Big shoutout to our server too—super kind . I’ll definitely be back to try the steak and burger next time.“

“I stopped in yesterday with my girlfriends as a trio exactly at 5pm and we were able to get a booth. I loved the cute decor. 90s music and relaxed atmosphere. The shining star of the evening was the Happiest Meal deal…. Do not skip the burger! It is so delicious. We tasted a variety of aeperol spritz’s which were all tasty but my favorite was the classic. Our server Ike was super attentive and friendly, gave us helpful recommendations and playful banter, such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour (and the burgers). Thanks for a great girls date.-Veronica“
“Just ok. The wine was impeccable, we went with a chilled red that was completely perfect. The food however, was nothing special. It was good, fresh, and well-constructed but the dishes were just overly simple. I know the menu rotates based on who is the chef at that time, but I feel like the menu we got was on the more “meh” side compared to examples I’ve seen.
I would definitely do this place as a wine bar first with some light bites to snack on, but don’t know if I would return specifically for the food program.
ALSO— I found it really obnoxious that they let dogs in the backyard, you never really know who is allergic or what a dog‘s temperament is and either way I just found it really offputting that people were just letting their dogs go up to random patrons during their visit. For a $170 visit I’d hope for more sophistication.“

“Vanguard on the Upper West Side has become a staple for us since we moved to this area 4 years ago. The interior is so charming, the wine selection is always great (and rotates every season), and the folks who work there are absolute gems! Getting to know Isabel and Jacob behind the bar has been such a joy, and they always give the best recommendations. Don’t sleep on the charcuterie board and other light snacks - they’re all delish!“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“The Roxy was a solid spot with a few flaws! The cocktails were excellent, however the food fell short. The bartender was great, but the place was understaffed so we were left waiting a while to order food and more drinks. Could be awesome with some refinements!“

“Had a wonderful brunch today at Hudson Clearwater. The smoothie was outstanding. This is a quaint rustic spot and deserves all the love for their vegan friendly menu. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well. Great service, and a great meal with my sweetheart.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Quiet, tasty, and welcoming service. It earns its star (especially those sauces). The waiter may add some charm and levity even as the kitchen peels their little heirloom tomatoes. Equally solid for birthdays, anniversaries, and getting a nice quiet corner to yourself.
If you're into wine, be sure to look out for their semi-regular events.“

“We had our wedding at Rialto and couldn’t imagine a perfect ceremony and reception.
Dominic and the Rialto team were incredible. Super attentive and went out of their way to make sure our day was as special as can be.
We have no idea how but they managed to make sure the food was always fresh and hot when served, even the branzino, which is not easy to do all at once for ~75 people. Seriously impressive.
They really outdid themselves and we will definitely come back to Rialto for dinner which now holds a special place in our hearts. ❤“
