“Been ordering Chinese food here for at least 18 years. They have been a staple at birthday parties/family events, and a comfort to me on low days when I wanna be cozy. It’s always hot and fresh and fast! It’s great for a really inexpensive lunch too!
My top choices~
Shrimp and broccoli white sauce
Beef and broccoli
Vegetable lo mein
Shrimp spring roll“

“Not a big fan of the fish balls but will definitely be back for the rice noodles. Get them with mixed sauce: peanut, soy, hot, and oyster sauce. The owner is a vibe. There is a small area for dine in, with 4 chairs, but food comes in a plastic container that's easy to eat from elsewhere. They do take card but with a fee.“

“Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

“Insane value in 2026. Wrappers are handmade and you can taste the difference. Wholesale/bulk frozen goods are super well priced.
The main mall entrance has been boarded up as of May 2026 so you’ll need to make your way around to a sketchy looking side entrance, then into the basement via the main stairwell.“

“You can buy a pineapple pork bun (so fast with cash your friends are shocked) put it in your backpack and travel across three states, pull it out slightly squished at 3am, and it'll still taste so fabulous you won't want to brush your teeth so you can savor the taste for longer. Juicy, tender, sweet, savory, with a slight crunch. A bun of dreams.“

“Tangy, sour, spicy, yummy!!! This soup has such a good flavor range - I literally went wow inside me haha. It was a yummy soup. Wish I got more meat instead of minced meat (I don’t like minced meat in soup and noodles in general). The service is quick and friendly. Also I hate the fact that there is no physical menus - bring back physical menus please!!!“

“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“

“The food was honestly amazing - so, so delicious. The only thing I’d change is the music, just because it didn’t really match the vibe, but that’s totally my own opinion. Everything we tried was great, and the service was really good too. Definitely recommend this place!“

“Thankful that the restaurant was able to take our reservation, day of, on Mother's Day no less, for over 20+ people. C'mon now, at a Chinese restaurant, this is top-notch service, deserving of 5 stars for that alone! The food was good - I do think SoCal (626) Chinese food is better, but it's right there and it hit the spot. Did I mention they took our reservation, day of, on Mother's Day? Good stuff!“
“Walked in for a quick luncheon on my day off. I was seated in the front section by Michelle. Thoroughly enjoyed the preps- different flavors and excellent presentation. Attentive and friendly service by Michelle was impeccable! A bit too loud neighboring tables, but food and service was decadent. Eclectic menu. Can’t wait to be back and try their other dishes. Ty Michelle for your suggestions. Shredded tofu & Ravioli are a win win‼️ Pyramid dessert is to kill for…😉😋😋😋❣️“

“The food I ordered was good ,well seasoned, but when I wanted to order their signature dish, which is the bao bao buns, they said it’s no longer in stock and won’t be ready till next season.
I was really disappointed that I couldn’t get what I really wanted.“

“I recently tried Yang Guo Fu Malatang and had a great experience. The best part is being able to choose your own ingredients, which makes the meal very personalized and fun. There were many fresh options like vegetables, meats, seafood, tofu, and noodles.“

“The food here is absolutely delicious in the chef stuff we know how to cook! Especially the fried food (scallion pancake, calamari) are perfect perfectly fried and seasoned.
The only thing is, it was very cold inside of the restaurant. The wind blowing in from the door, costly open and close made it extra cold inside“

“Best Szechuan restaurant in New York, hands down. The food was outstanding—bold, authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and every dish was packed with spice and depth. What made the experience even better was Andy, our waiter. He was friendly, attentive, fast, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food, great service, and definitely a place I’d come back to again. Highly recommend.“

“Great prices for delicious food. I see why Guy Fieri has come here three times. The noodles are perfectly imperfect and the flavors are spot on. The only questionable thing about the place is that the duck is served bone-in which brought down my wife's enjoyment of her dish“

“DAO Dim Sum & Chinese Cuisine delivers exactly what you want when you are craving authentic dim sum in New York. It checks every box.
The dim sum was excellent. Fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. Each dish came out hot and properly timed. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in consistency and quality.
The wonton soup was equally strong. Clean, balanced broth with well-made wontons and great texture. Comforting without being heavy.
Service was fast and courteous. The staff was attentive, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. Food arrived quickly without feeling rushed.
The pricing is very reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. Strong value across the board.
If you are looking for reliable, well-executed dim sum in New York, DAO is a solid choice. Professional operation, good people, great food. Five stars.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Hi grand street skewer cart ! I’m a huge fan of your food. I’m a web designer and I actually put together a draft website concept for your shop to show how you can showcase your menu and take catering orders more easily.
I’d love to send you a quick video tour of what I built, or we can jump on a brief meeting if you’re interested! If you like the design, you can officially purchase it for your business. No pressure at all—just wanted to show you what’s possible!“

“The food is out of this place! The heat, smokiness, and the soft soft noodles, everything is just perfect. We also had the spicy cucumber salad and we drank the dressing after eating up all the cucumber pieces coz it was so good! The seating is limited but the place is clean.“

“Forgot to take photos of the food but everything was so good. Steamed Pork Dumplings were massive, soft, and delish. Chicken Soup Dumplings had a really rich broth. Beef Lo Mein was flavorful and cooked well. Sesame Chicken was super crispy and the sauce was incredible but not spicy as it shouldve been. Chicken Fried Rice was standard but good.
The free jasmine tea was a nice touch and great throughout the meal!“

“Danny at the bar is the reason we go. I’m actually annoyed when he’s charming, wining and dining other customers because I assume he’s there for me and my coworkers exclusively. This bar in particular is our favorite place to end a brutal work day next door.“

“The food is great. We ordered wild yellow croaker and duck stew with sticky rice ball as dessert. The taste has no problem but the portion is small compared to the price. Two sticky rice balls for 14 dollars. The good point is that the jasmine rice is free.“

“I went to a lot of restaurants in New York that were much fancier than this cart but this was my favorite food of the day. The cheong fun was gooey and had qq and a decent amount of meat. For $5 for the large, it was such a deal and fed three of us as a snack. I would go back in a heartbeat and order more. Wish we had this in Chinatown in Houston.“

“I visited this place on a snowy day, and they offered hot red date water—honestly the perfect drink for the middle of winter. The food was just as impressive: the Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles and the lamb paomo were both really authentic. Warm, comforting, and absolutely worth coming back for!“
