“I stopped by BZ Grill in Astoria for a quick lunch and left seriously impressed. The owner, Margarita, is a super nice, hardworking lady who clearly takes pride in her food — everything is made fresh and with care.

I ordered the Bifteki Sandwich Lunch Special, which comes with fries. The bifteki (a seasoned Greek-style all-beef patty) was packed with flavor — juicy, perfectly grilled over charcoal, and I could taste a hint of cumin and other warm spices. Easily a 9/10. I also tried the kebab— a delicious mix of ground beef and lamb with Middle Eastern spices. It was tender and flavorful — a solid 8.5/10.

Overall, BZ Grill is a must-try for Greek street food lovers. Great flavors, generous hospitality, and a clean, welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Truly the best falafel — I’ve been supporting this spot since I was a child and they were a cart in front of the C-Town on Broadway (RIP). Since their spot opened, I regularly pickup or dine in with loved ones. The hot sauce is deliciously spicy, the chicken is always grilled to perfection, the rice pudding is a perfect end to the meal, and the salad+hummus combo is my absolute favorite. Also, as someone with Celiac Disease, it’s been great to have this reliably gluten free delight in my neighborhood. It’s such a wonderful place and I’m so grateful they exist, what a journey it’s been over the years! “I have been ordering food from Xing’s Chef for longer than I can remember. This is the only Chinese take-out that my 89 year old mom likes! I’m always in a rush and they always have my order ready for me, which I truly appreciate. The food is consistently delicious and the woman who works there is always sweet and kind. “I had such a wonderful breakfast experience at The Grand! From the moment we sat down, our server Ruby made us feel welcomed… She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

The food was pretty amazing :) The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were seasoned just right. The Eggs Benedict was also good. The hollandaise sauce was pretty flavorful, paired well with the spinach and ham. We also enjoyed fresh mimosas that made the perfect touch to our meal.

On top of that, the atmosphere is gorgeous; charming decor, lively yet relaxed vibe, and a setting that makes dining here feel special.
