“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.

“It's easy here to become desensitized to fantastic food when you live in Greenwich Village. But every simple meal at The Little Taco House is still magical. Order three or four tacos -- carnitas, chicken tinga, shrimp, and al pastor are the best, in that order -- with spicy salsa, and a tamarind Jaritos. Talk to (and tip!) the two kind, hard-working people behind the counter, and let them know you'd like your food to stay. Eat immediately, at the small metal chairs outside. Each bite will slow time just a little bit even though you are having an extremely efficient meal.“

“Just attended Shabbat - Hanukkah celebration at the Lobby. What a wonderful experience!! Great ambiance with the first hour open bar and mingling and then dinner, music and dancing. Head cheff, Neil Strauber did a wonderful job with the traditional Israeli cuisine and warm, family style inviting manner! Crispy Hanukkah latkes with sour cream and the sugared donuts were a highlight for me, but also the delicious hala bread with homemade humus and other dips, the fish and chicken schnitzel, yum!! Will definitely go again!!“

The décor is stylish and trendy, and the music gives the place more of a club vibe than a traditional Mexican restaurant, which actually adds to the experience depending on what you’re looking for.

While the menu doesn’t offer traditional tacos, what they do have is flavorful and well-prepared. The drinks are on the overpriced side, but that’s to be expected for the location. Parking is definitely a challenge—typical New York—but despite that, the restaurant is absolutely worth the visit.

“Food was amazing. It's a little expensive, but paying to get that flavor is definitely worth it. Only downside is it takes a little long for food to be out, and I ordered a quesadilla when the kitchen just had gotten a really big order so they told me it would take even longer. Since I didn't have time, I just told them a refund was okay, and they supposedly refunded me but i never got the money back.

So everything was amazing except for that. However, I will be back with friends soon!“
