“The tacos were delicious! I especially recommend trying the Nopal Taco if you’ve never had cactus before,it was one of my favorites. The horchata was also really good; it’s a sweet drink made with rice and cinnamon, and definitely worth trying. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved very quickly. We only waited about 7–8 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience!“

There are quick and have never made a mistake in what I have ordered. They have a burger on their menu which is amazing. I am glad to have this place nearby my workplace.“

“The pork chop was succulent and had the most amazing spice combination. The barbacoa was the best I have ever had. Not a fan of the mezcal, but I gave it a try. Other more common drinks looked great with a good pour. Good vibe and open late with a super friendly staff!“

“Carnitas Ramirez is one of the most authentic taco spot I tried on the East Coast. We went there on a Saturday night and tried six different type of meats, all flavorful and melting in the mouth, with a special mention for the crispy pork belly. Do not hesitate to try the most unusual cuts! These are among the most surprising and delightful one.“

“The Best Pho in NYC, the broth is delicious & Service fast and friendly. It been my 3rd time here. I was not disappointed. I recommend all my friends.“
“The tacos here are tasty and delightfully cheap given their location. In addition, the whole layout of the restaurant makes sure that you get your meal quickly and get on with your day. The entrance leads straight to the line for ordering, on the way to which you also pass by the place's short but comprehensive menu. After ordering, you receive a ticket to bring to the chefs in the counter right besides you, who then make your order on the spot and give it to you.
The tables here have no chairs, only room to stand. While I'm sure this is inconvenient for some, it also ensures that people don't take their time eating here and why you'll almost never need to wait for a table once you get your food. The standing-up tables might not be for everyone, but I like it.
This trifecta of fast, cheap, and tasty is what fast food is all about in my opinion, and in a time and place where it is becoming increasingly rare, it's very nice to see that places like this are still going strong“

“AMAZING tacos! I happened to be wandering around when I came across this place. Was hungry so I stopped in. I got 3 chicken tacos and 1 steak. They were very nice and even directed me on what to avoid because of my shellfish allergy! Can’t wait to eat here again!“

“On a rainy day exploring the city, this little place didn’t disappoint! The tacos were full of flavor and a great price! The barbacoa taco was so tender! My hubs had the steak quesadilla and chicken taco- all perfectly seasoned! Everything was better with the salsa bar. Great portion sizes. Do not sleep on the hibiscus aqua Fresca- delicious! The place was clean and easy to eat at while the rain fell!“

“Really good for a quick bite, took a little bit too long for two small tacos in a quick bite situation and I’m not sure it’s the best vibe for like a sit down nice dinner, but it’s really good for take out. They also have really good margaritas.“

“TAQ has quietly become one of my go-to spots in Tribeca — a solid, no-nonsense bar that nails the balance between strong drinks, improved food, and an atmosphere that doesn’t try too hard but still hits right. It’s not just another crowded downtown joint; it’s the crew that keeps things running smooth even when the place is packed wall-to-wall.
Behind the bar, **Sam and Dom** are a straight-up dynamic duo. Sam’s got that sharp efficiency and personality behind the stick, while Dom as barback hustles like a machine, always two steps ahead. Their synergy is unreal; they read each other so clean that even on the busiest Friday crush, drinks flow without a single hiccup. It lowkey puts most other bars in this city to shame. You can tell they’ve been grinding together long enough for that telepathic rhythm — the kind that makes chaos look effortless. (Pause)
**Derek and Alyana** bring their own flavor to the floor, and it works. They’re funny, attentive without being in your face, and quick with a dry one-liner that makes you feel like a regular from jump. They don’t just serve; they entertain in that understated NYC way.
Then there’s **Cole**, the manager. I first crossed paths with him back when he was bartending and, real talk, the food wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire. But Cole’s the type who knows his product. One night I swung in just for drinks and caught a whiff of their nachos from his plate — smelled like straight paradise, perfectly seasoned and fresh. I made a comment, and he lit up, explaining how the whole menu got revamped for the better. Man was so convincing I gave it another shot. Turns out he was right, and now I’m hooked. That kind of lowkey confidence from management is rare.
I’ve gotta give it up for the **Tuesday and Friday specials** — straight gas, and my favorite days to pop by in. Whether it’s the drink deals or the plates, they deliver real value without phoning it in. Tuesday’s a perfect mid-week reset, while Friday brings that unbeatable energy. Both nights consistently slap with flavor and vibes.
Overall, TAQ isn’t some overhyped Tribeca scene spot — it’s a place where the team’s chemistry and hustle actually show up in every round. If you’re in the neighborhood looking for solid service, upgraded food that delivers, and a crew that seems to actually enjoy the grind, pull up. You’ll walk out fed, buzzed, and already plotting the next visit.“
“I finally decided to try Los Tacos No. 1 at Hudson Yards after hearing so much about it, and honestly, I don't understand all the hype.
The tacos were decent, but nothing that stood out compared to many other(Authentic) taco spots in New York City. There are plenty of places serving better tacos without the long lines and at a more reasonable price.
For one asada taco, two adobada tacos, and two sodas, the total came to about $30 before tip. Considering the portion size and overall flavor, it felt overpriced for what you get.
The food isn't bad, but in my opinion it's overhyped and overpriced. With so many great taco options throughout the city, I don't think it's worth the wait or the premium price.“

“We were in the area and got a 6:30pm reservation 30 mins in advance on Open Table. Despite being a last-minute reservation and being dressed on the casual side, the hostess greeted us like we were her favorite customers! Cocktails were interesting, nuanced and delicious. They were well-priced for the quality. The house- made tortilla chips were outstanding, and paired with the guacamole with black garlic and mango salsa- yummmmm. Amazing. I had hamachi tacos on blue corn tortillas. The fish was perfectly cooked, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors fresh and delightful. Portion size was just right. This was the last restaurant meal of our NYC trip and it was an unexpected gem. Try it. You won’t be disappointed!“

“The food was exquisite, I ordered pechuga a la parrilla with tostones and it was so great I finished it all and I usually only eat half or less of my food at any restaurant. I loved it, the place could use a bit more better music but it was good. Lol I would come back ♥️“

“Wonderful burritos!! Try the steak (carne asada) burritos. They're the best. I do have to say I do wonder if maybe adding different toppings like corn salsa like in other major chain restaurants. I think it would be a game changer for customers that like it. But overall a 0/10.“

“Covid review. Delivery and take out only so check the menu before coming or call ahead to save you time. Definitely good chicken/beef tacos for the road but the bowls are probably my go to for sure. Home made juices to go definitely a keeper anytime I order.“
“I was looking for places in the area of the museum we wanted to visit and this taco truck came up. It's more of a taco stand. I expected meat sitting in a warming tray but we waited maybe 7 minutes while things were cut up and cooked. Great taste, didn't make me want to add anything. I'd definitely go again if anywhere near by. Tacos were $4 each. Wish I'd taken photos but they were gone too quick.“

“Hosted a happy hour business event here recently. Everything was perfect. Tacalle is a great space- an outdoor venue that's unique in midtown Manhattan. It's beautifully, but simply, decorated and was the perfect atmosphere for my event. The food is excellent and the staff was all great. Highly recommend Tacalle for a business event, but have also had their tacos for lunch, and it's a great lunch space as well.“
