“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.
The toppings and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were ready in less than 1 min after I ordered. They are obsessed with being the best and it stands out“

“I come often to this eatery for lunch. The owners are extremely friendly. The food is fresh and cleanly prepared in front of you. There are quick and have never made a mistake in what I have ordered. They have a burger on their menu which is amazing. I am glad to have this place nearby my workplace.“

“It's easy here to become desensitized to fantastic food when you live in Greenwich Village. But every simple meal at The Little Taco House is still magical. Order three or four tacos -- carnitas, chicken tinga, shrimp, and al pastor are the best, in that order -- with spicy salsa, and a tamarind Jaritos. Talk to (and tip!) the two kind, hard-working people behind the counter, and let them know you'd like your food to stay. Eat immediately, at the small metal chairs outside. Each bite will slow time just a little bit even though you are having an extremely efficient meal.“

“I ordered 2 Santo's Steak trompo tacos and 2 chicken tacos as well as the Agua Santa. The quality of the steak trompo was phenomenal. It's tastes so delicious and cooked to perfection. I'd have to say the same for the chicken tacos. It was some of the most juicy chicken I've had in a long time. I originally ordered only one but went back for another one! The Agua Santa was decent but nothing crazy. The food and service was fantastic!“

“Our children mentioned many times Los Tacos No. 1 has the best tacos in NYC. Son and daughter in-law visited so ran over and grabbed Steak, chicken and pork tacos with the works. They were as good as advertised. The place was busy but the line moved fast. Staff was efficient and courteous. Definitely will return for more!!“

“The Cheese Quesadilla is insanely delicious. Four thin tortillas are given with melted cheese and several condiments (salsa, guacamole, sour cream, two hot sauces). I ate with pleasure. This was my second visit here. The first time I had two tacos and preferred the one with carnita. I took two packets of freshly made tortilla chips home ($1.94). Addictive! Tacos Grand Central is a cozy no frills restaurant with a heavy door to enter and a slanted entrance floor. Table seating and counter are available. Most people order and take out. Four employees work here bringing out the kind of food customers like. I know that I do and plan to return as often as possible.“

“The attention is kinda slow, you have to wait in line for a good amount of time to get 3 tacos, which are very good but not top tier birria tacos. I would try it again if I'm in the neighborhood but wouldn't commute just for birralandia as I did. There is also no nice park nearby to eat comfortably. Prices are good“

“The pork chop was succulent and had the most amazing spice combination. The barbacoa was the best I have ever had. Not a fan of the mezcal, but I gave it a try. Other more common drinks looked great with a good pour. Good vibe and open late with a super friendly staff!“
“From a Mexican, these tacos are the real thing with the most authentic flavor you can get. The salsas were spicy and filled with flavor, the meat was tender, and the maíz tortillas are hand made on the spot making them fresh that with every bite your not just tasting the meat, you are tasting the taco as a whole. The tacos adobada were by far the best tasting and the horchata is thee drink to order. Estos la neta son los tacos no.1 y no hay nada que compare.“

“Asked for a torta with enchilada pork at 8:30 am. They quickly and efficiently accommodated a request they likely don’t get at that hour. The torta was absolutely excellent and I’ve had a hundred or more after overtime a decade in so cal and Mexico. They do it right. Will be back.“
“This food truck is the best spot for late night cravings. I believe that this food truck is only open for a certain amount of hours at night and days throughout the week. You’ll most likely catch them on the weekends. The food is good and the price is decent. No complaints!“

“nice local mexican place with decent prices. i’ve only ever ordered their burritos but they’re a good size and the fillings are good. some are a bit oily but the flavor is on point so i don’t mind. the wait can be long for busy periods (like lunchtime) but overall a good place to go to for a burrito instead of chains like chipotle.“

“First time I ordered online. I got the nachos w beef, it was really good. It had great add ons and wasn’t too salty. Well cooked and hot. I called to confirm if they received my order and the guy was so kind. When I received my food, it was packed with care. They also deliver for cheap and use their own carrier services. “as frequent travelers to Mexico me and my girlfriend can say that these are the best hands-down, the best authentic Mexican tacos in Hamilton Heights. There are a lot of folks saying a lot of other things, but they are completely inaccurate. If you come here, get tacos. get a ton of them smother them, and salsa. Be happy. And just for the record tacos are four dollars which is pretty much market rate for Manhattan.“
