The servers were warm, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The atmosphere was cozy but not cramped with music that was not too loud and convivial. And the food was great - every dish came out perfectly, beautifully presented, delicious even though it was unfamiliar (part of the appeal). From the dual eggplant with watercress foam stew appetizer through the cooked banana with light chocolate and biscuit dessert, all was done to perfection. My main course (Palette of Bon Bœuf low-temperature beef, lacquered with tomato juice flavoured with curry and turmeric, butternut squash purée, potato cromesquis, marinated zucchini roll) was amazingly tender and delicious. Artful and satisfying, we will be back! An additional thanks for using warm serving plates, which kept the delicious hot food warm without rushing through it! It`s a sign of a good restaurant that knows what it`s doing. Highly recommended!“

“The staff are so knowledgeable and gracious. Cocktails and wine by the glass are top quality. The beef tartare is delicious (wonderfully spicy) and quite a large serving. Lobster roll with amazing fries was great too. A perfect pre-concert resto/bar if you are heading to Centre Bell.“

The flavors are beautiful, well-defined, and each element of the dish is recognizable, which is not always the case in other restaurants. This is surely due to the chef's talent. It's the ideal place to invite a special person. If the music were a little less loud, it would be perfect.“

“The food is good, the decor is nice, service is ok. I did not like the loud rock music though, very unusual in an izakaya restaurant. The buns with braised pork were cold and came with pickles, still very surprising. I am happy I tried it but it is not the kind of izakaya I am used to. So be aware of that when trying it. And no happy hour offered vs what says the black board. Still worth the try.“

“The Lomo Saltado dish was great, hits the taste buds really well. The El Cacao desert is the cherry on top after a Lomo Saltado. The yuca fries on the other hand are a 5/10 as i prefer the texture and flavour of a fresh cut yuca fry instead of this iteration of a yuca fry. But others may enjoy this type of yuca fry, the sauces with this are great too.

Avant même d'ouvrir la porte, le valet nous reçoit en souriant, ce qui règle pour nous la question du parking. L'expérience commence bien avant d'entrer. Pas de menu dégustation pour nous cette fois. On choisi des entrées, plats et desserts, tous avec un accord de vin. Il ne faut pas se gêner de demander des suggestions au sommelier. Un autre sans faute. Service professionnel et chaleureux.
