We decided to try something different and asked her to choose everything for us, from the appetizer all the way to dessert, without telling us what dishes would be coming to the table. Every dish that arrived was a surprise. Not only was the presentation impeccable, but the flavors were outstanding. Honestly, it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time.

We had dinner at Joe Beef on July 3, and it absolutely lived up to its legendary reputation. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into an atmosphere that was warm, eclectic, lively, and full of personality. The restaurant has a charm that’s impossible to fake—it’s energetic without feeling rushed and makes you feel like you’re part of something special.

A huge thank you to Simon, our server, who made the evening exceptional. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun, making us feel genuinely welcome while expertly guiding us through the menu. His wine recommendations paired beautifully with our meal, and his enthusiasm for the food and the restaurant was remarkable.

Every dish was outstanding, but the escargot was absolutely phenomenal—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The tomato salad was surprisingly one of the highlights of the evening, showcasing incredibly fresh ingredients with simple, flawless execution.

Simon also steered us toward fantastic wine selections that complemented every course, and he saved room for dessert with recommendations that were the perfect ending to an already incredible meal. Every bite was memorable.

“I had really high expectations for Restaurant Monarque and was hoping it would completely blow me away. While the food was delicious, the overall experience fell just slightly short of what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Service was the main area that didn’t quite meet expectations. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before receiving menus and had to ask for them. Throughout the meal, interactions felt a bit rushed - several staff members who stopped by the table were somewhat brief, and on a few occasions, items like bread or water were dropped off while we tried to ask questions, but the busser had already walked away. That said, the restaurant was quite busy during lunch, so it’s possible the pace and attentiveness were impacted by that. As for the food, we ordered the albacore tuna appetizer along with the strip loin, butcher’s cut, and duck for our mains. Everything was well-prepared, though the duck portion was noticeably small. Desserts were a highlight - especially the pavlova with maracuya, which was excellent. Our server Laura was professional, though not very engaging until the very end of the meal when we were settling the bill. I would still return, as the food is strong, but I have to say that Bar George left a more lasting impression on us in terms of both food and service.“

“I love to go to this place for the all you can eat sushi and other Asian dishes! It's a pretty big place with long tables, so it's a good spot for group outings. The crispy sesame seitan beef and sushi pizza are some of my faves! Service is pretty fast except when it comes to drinks, I highly recommend ordering drinks as soon as possible because they can take quite a while to arrive.“

I work in restauration so I know what I’m talking about. The service is amazing, food is amazing ( especially the burrata and STEAK) I come here only for the steak!
