“Only sushi spot open later than your moms house (ooooooooooooo) great sushi, people are really nice. I wouldn't say go here as your first option for sushi, but definitely try it out if you're craving some and you're just in the area. Opened pretty new so everything's nice and shiny. Overall a good spot, not the best but definitely does the job.“

“Guyssss!! I meant to take a photo before we started eating, haha but I’d strongly recommend dining here— the food is excellent!! The portion sizes are more than enough, especially for the price! You definitely get your moneys worth plus more. The flavor is great!! I’m not sure of his name, but the older Asian man that worked this Monday is the sweetest. This place is very efficient!! My husband and I are huge fans!!“

“I came because of the raving reviews from Yelp and Google, and I was not disappointed one bit! I ordered at their self-serve kiosk, and my order was ready very quickly. The workers are lovely, they thanked everyone who dined with them and had a pleasant, family oriented- welcoming vibe overall. The food was amazing, well flavored & I really appreciated how they give you options on spice levels. I loved everything about the experience. I think we just found our new ramen place for when we're in the area!“

“Namo restaurant exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped through the door. Speaking of the door, it was truly spectacular, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. But the excellence didn't stop there. Our waiter, Jay, was nothing short of incredible. He not only took care of our every need but also went above and beyond in explaining the menu, ensuring we made the most out of our dining choices. His knowledge and passion for the cuisine truly enhanced our meal. From start to finish, every aspect of our visit was flawless, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit. Namo has undoubtedly earned a spot on our list of favorite dining spots, and we can't wait to return for another amazing time!“

“The food is very fresh and clean tasting. You’re definitely paying for quality here and not portion size. I went by myself and got several hand rolls and couple specials and came out at 80 bucks in under 30 mins. I recommend to eat very slowly and cherish each bite.“

“The whole dinner experience was cozy and comfortable. All the dishes were delicately prepared and presented. Loved that sushi came with real wasabi. Robata okra and pork jowel were grilled to perfection. Service was detailed and attentive. My cup of hot tea was always being refilled by the staff.“

“Food and service was excellent. Popped into this spot having no idea. Exceeded expectations. This was the best and freshest sushi I've had in Dallas. I haven't had sushi this delicious since visiting Japan. Yes, it is not the least expensive spot, but you are paying for quality. So just know it's a pricey dinner before going to manage expectations.“

“The sushi at this restaurant is excellent and very fresh. I highly recommend trying their specialty rolls, particularly the Burn Your Stomach roll. It has the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The lychee margarita is also a must-try. However, the service can be slow as there appears to be only one server and a host. If you are very hungry, I suggest sitting at the bar for faster service. Despite this, it remains one of my favorite sushi spots.“

“Tei-An is exactly the contemporary zen Japanese it claims to be. An aroma of woody incense is pleasingly present as soon as you walk in. The decor and stone arrangements also make the earthy vibe a comfortable dining environment. Our server, Janie was very kind and went out of her way to provide exceptional service. She introduced the menu and explained how the sequence on how the food is served. The house made pickles were a refreshingly excellent start to open our taste pallet. They were a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and tart. Highly recommended. The soba sampler is a great way to taste different flavor pairing for the soba. The bolognese is an interesting take on westernizing soba. It has the light texture of soba noodles combined with the richness of mushrooms and cheese. The chicken karaage was disappointing to me as it tasted pre-packaged and out of the freezer. I know it's not the what they specialize in, but they could improve the karaage recipe to taste more traditionally Japanese. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience at Tei-An because everyone was super hospitable. Other servers stopped by our table to exchange our dirty plates and wipe the water off our table. I can tell there's a lot of effort put into the details of service. I hope others can have the same positive experience as I did.“

“My family had recommended this place and I'm sure glad they did. The food was Delicious. The presentation was out of this world! I would definitely recommend the Toffee ice cream desert. The atmosphere is nice. There are a lot of regulars that come here. They all talk to each other and the workers as if they were one family. I even took sake shots with the customer sitting next to me at the sushi bar. Mark the Chef, did stunning work on preparing the sushi. Patrick the server, was quick to respond. He was very friendly and I really enjoyed talking to him. After my visit, I'd say this is top 3 on my list of best gourmet sushi that I have visited! Can't Wait for my next visit!“

“I celebrated my birthday here after a quick visit to Dallas for the eclipse. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. We started off with a few items off the happy hour menu and then finished off with a couple of dishes from the main menu. The stars were definitely the scallop, the pork jowl, and the hama chili. The desserts were also lovely. We had the cheesecake and the trio of sorbets. Everything was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in town!“

“FOOD - Truffle Salmon - The salmon was fresh and torched. There were wasabi sprouts on top and drizzled with both hot sesame oil and truffle ponzu sauce. The dish looks amazing and also tastes so good. The sauce had this zesty flavor that went super well with the char/flamed taste. - Itchy Salmon - Also super good with charred flavor. The dish is spicy crab meat topped with salmon, cilantro, pepper, and sauce. The spicy crab mix is so creamy and it melts in your mouth. - Godzilla Bomb Roll - Tempura Blue Kani, Bigeye tuna, and yellowtail with also pepper and togarashi. The roll was crunchy on the bottom and very spicy on the top. It was also super creamy and yummy. On a side note, the ginger is a lot fresher. It's not as marinated as other places but that gives it a fresh essence. They also have thicker cuts of ginger. Overall, the fish and ingredients are all super high quality with great flavor. On the more expensive side but you are definitely getting your money's worth. VIBES The vibe is more upscale casual. There were a lot of couples there. My friend and I came at around 3:50 PM and it was not that crowded. They have two sides of seating, bar seating, and also patio seating. Decorations were so pretty with a bunch of lanterns and more modernized traditional Japanese look. The chopsticks were also really nice. SERVICE Service was great! The guy gave us amazing recommendations, was patient with us and checked on us a lot.“

“I had the following rolls and all of them hit the spot! Tornado, Dragon, Sweet Little Prince, and Firecracker rolls. If you like spicy and fried rolls go for the Tornado. So many different choices of rolls and the presentation was great for each. Also the outdoor patio was enjoyable ?“

“The restaurant has a very close setup, they do a lot of the cooking behind a counter. Customers will be able to see some aspects of their food being made. Some of the tables have big chunks of wood as stools to sit on. The food itself some of the BEST RAMEN I have had in my life! I had the Spicy Tonkotsu Miso Ramen with a half order of extra noodles. The broth was rich and creamy with a good natural kick from the spices. They have nice amount of options for people who are looking to try ramen you might want to try here.Parking: The restaurant is located off the street, you may find some spots on the street. But behind the restraint there is a parking. Lot that people use when they attend the business that located near by.“

“Have been to this location twice now. First time we ordered rolls based on our server's recommendations. He knew what we loved and tempted us with new options which were delicious. The Himalayan is my personal favorite! Came back on the suggestion of our server to challenge Caesar with creating a custom roll based on our likes and he nailed it. He calls it the sunshine...so good! We have been around the planet and eat sushi often. Oishi is on the top of our list! We leave there always wondering how they can top our experience and they always do. Grapevine location is awesome as well!“

“I’ve been coming here since 2012 and it’s always been great. The owner is such a cool person and everyone on the staff is friendly. We brought our son for his seventh birthday because he’s been wanting to try sushi and everyone at Fuji Yama made it an incredible experience for him. I absolutely love this place, it’s a local gem for sure. Try the ahi tower and seared salmon sushi. Everything we’ve had has been really good though! 10/10 experienceKid-friendliness: Our son loved trying lots of different items here for his seventh birthday and had a great time. “I was surprised by the size of nigiris. The fish was big covering entire rice and also fresh. Yellowtail wasn't the fattest part but still enjoyed it. The pick up was easy and they also provided free ponzu upon request. I ordered two rolls (I believe were called Samurai and crunch crab). The Samurai roll was tasty but the crunch crab roll was only ok. I would like to dine in next time to have my rolls and sushi more fresh. Definitely will be go to sushi restaurant.“

Very good quality food, and the portions are huge especially for the low prices. Totally a diamond in the rough! Service was kinda slow, but so worth the wait. We'll be back!“

“We were in Dallas for 3 days and came here twice in a row. It was that good. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, and the chefs were friendly and meticulous. Highlights included the seared pieces (salmon belly, black cod) and the truffle salmon. Felt like a portal to Japan. Wow.“
