“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

We went there to EAT and enjoy ourselves, and that we did! It's always a pleasure to be greeted and attended to by familiar faces, and devour a delicious meal. Very chill, casual setup here with comfortable seating and easy to read menus.
I've gotten the mermaid oysters as an appetizer each time. They're delicious and have an extra sweetness to them that most oysters lack. As for main dishes, I am a huge fan of the gumbo here. Probably the best gumbo I've had in Texas. Its incredible. Simple yet full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Not super salty like most others.
Recently we had the coriander fish tacos either bacon, pico de gallo, jalapeños and Chipotle sauce. Omg that was 🤌😘
My wife got the Branzino which was served with broccolini and potatoes. A little more hearty of a meal, and very well prepared.
There hadn't been a miss we've tried yet. I'd definitely give this spot a try if you're in the area and in the mood for some fish! Super easy to order gluten-free here. They have a decent menu of cocktails and a full bar if you're looking to hang out.

“We took our college freshman granddaughter and her good friend for brunch / lunch on a Saturday. Food and service were both exceptional. Carriqui was our granddaughter's recommendation as her dad had taken her there several weeks before and it was close to Trinity University. We are glad she chose it. We will certainly return on another trip to San Antonio.“

“This place was a pleasant surprise on our visit to San Antonio. The food was good, atmosphere was clean, good music, and good for conversation. But the best part was the service. Our server, Derrick was very attentive but not annoying, helpful with the menu, and great energy and attitude. We’ll definitely be back here anytime we’re in San Antonio!“

When you eat and drink you never feel rushed, and if you need something you can guarantee one of the team will be happy to help, you never have to look for your server because the WHOLE crew is your server !!!! Each and every server in the building will treat you like family.“

“It was busy because it was Father's Day and there was no Wi-fi in the building or parking lot. I wanted to place a to-go order and it took a tad bit long amd the young lady at the window said when we were ready to let someone know she walked off and we never saw her again. I was ready to leave and not return.So we asked for assistance and Juran S. was right there and took care of our order and took my number down in case we weren't in the building to get the order she would call. She was very nice and attentive I appreciate her for that. It's great workers like her that makes you want to return.“

“First timer Review....Excellent market! Would have given 5 stars except for the fact they skinned my bronzini after seeing the attendant write down to keep skin on both. I don't get any fish skinned because it's a must have for me. Fortunately my black drum had it's skin although bronzini is my favorite. First class packaging for the road. I will still go back but may ask to see my fish before it's packed.“
