“This place is adorable! We ended up visiting multiple times during our weekend visit to S.A. The cocktails were top notch! Tried 3 different martinis all were amazing. Best oysters I’ve ever had, very clean the guy shucking is a pro. The wedge salad was absolutely delish, cold and fresh! Tuna tartare and the octopus were also a delight! However, front of house needs to do better and keeping the place tidy. Both times we dined, there were chips and fries on the floor and crumbs on our table when seated. The bathrooms needed attention as well, manager needs to make sure the place looks like it just opened all the time. This place is a gem, keep it looking fresh and clean like the decor and color palette presents.“

“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“Last night, I went to Carriqui with a party of two. We ordered Tuna Tostadas, Guacamole, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Birria, Flan, Tres Leches, and Margaritas.

Tuna Tostadas – Lights out! Sprinkle some lemon on top, take a bite, and it’s just sooo good. The flavors are perfectly balanced. Easily a must-order.
Birria – As someone who loves heavily seasoned food, I didn’t get a strong flavor kick from it, but the lamb was cooked beautifully. I’m glad I tried it!
Tres Leches – The star of the night. Hands down the best Tres Leches I’ve ever had. I’ve only tasted this dessert in Charlotte, NC before, but this one? Perfect. I devoured the whole thing.
Guacamole – So fresh, great texture.
Flan – Good, but Tres Leches stole the show. (I’m also not a huge caramel fan, so I’m a little biased.)
Chicken Tortilla Soup – This one didn’t do it for me.
Margaritas – I really enjoyed these, they are so refreshing.

Beyond the food, the ambiance was amazing. We sat outside, and everything—the music, weather, lighting—was chef’s kiss.

“I love this place, been regulars for over three years, food is always good and fresh. Only thing I can say is PLEASE PLEASE offer more veggies options. Broccoli is the only veggies you have and that’s not a broad selection. I know you have chef specials and sometimes you offer other veggies, but need more on the regular menu. Sometimes I order for pick up or delivery, chef specials are not on online ordering. So stick with just broccoli as a veggie option“

Nonetheless, went to meet a friend for a cold beer. Was happy to learn that we walked in to Happy Hour. A medium Modelo was under $3. What a deal!! Chips were crispy and fresh. The salsita was different but quite tasty and picoso! Wonder if they used chili de árbol? We ordered their $8.99 lunch special. I had pollo con mole. Chicken was so tender and juicy. Friend had carne asada. It was tasty and fresh. It didn’t look like a lot but it fooled me. Had to be rolled out of the place. Homemade tortillas were wonderful. Just like mom used to make. Overall I was impressed. Once their A/C problems are fixed I think it may become my new favorite place.“

The food was great; I did have an issue with finding hair in my broccoli (side dish); which is very unfortunate. The culinary manager came and apologized and made sure they replaced my dish. My server Shannon was also very kind about the mishap. The food was really delicious (besides the hair), the crab legs were really tasty!“

“I like Groomers. Their customer service can be very good. I had one staff help me out a lot. Shout out to Merlin. He was great in helping me get some good catch of the day. I wanted AmberJack and they didn't have any ... so, he was able to find me a similar type fish. I really appreciated his attention to detail. Great place to shop at if you want fresh fish and also, they cook great samples to taste, the lobster samples were amazing. I need that recipe.“

“My Daughter and I went to eat Lunch at here yesterday and Cali greeted us with a smile. She is such a Doll. She helped us with our order and made suggestions. We will be again. The service was exceptional. The restaurant was very clean and so was the restrooms. We got a lot of food for our order. I also got a To go plate for my husband( Cheeseburger meal) . “I hadn't visited this location in years many years... Its so much bigger than other locations. It was very clean. Due to its beening Good Friday the line was long. I ordered 2 fish sandwiches only no combos it was $17.30 yes the sandwich is big not huge but just still seemed alot for only 2 sandwiches. There was only 1 waitress but ahe def was doing what she could to keep up. I did noticed she had a young man helping with drinks but he looked so unprofessional, walking around with these huge headphones 🎧 on his head. It didn't look right and management should be showing him 2 be proud of his work and proud of his look. They did have a perfect city score and it did show.“

“This location does not have a drive thru but still great for pick up only. Though the parking lot layout is a bit strange there are plenty of parking spots for normal business traffic.

The kitchen appears to be clean and the front waiting area feels a little dated.
A little love to the front would make the waiting experience a bit more pleasing but the food never disappoints.“

“Definitely a place you can’t judge a book by its cover. We ordered the special 2 pc fish 2 pc chicken fries and a 32 oz tea for $10 and some change. It was very fresh and very good. It came with 2 good sized pieces of fish and 2 leg quarters. The chicken was crunchy and had lots of flavor. The fish was crispy and seasoned just right. The tartar was a lil too Mayo with not enough pickle for my taste. The bottom of the box was filled with warm fresh fries and we got 4 slices of bread. We will definitely be back for the family chicken special.“
