“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“High end Mexican food with their own take on classic dishes. The food itself is high quality ingredients such as the wagyu fajitas (pictured) with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. We also had the fried fish tacos which were delicious. One nice surprise was the corn cakes. It was similar to a very moist cornbread cupcake with herb butter. Already looking forward to having these again. We were seating in the second building which is decorated very nice, but as it filled up it has terrible acoustics, so you have to shout at each other to speak. There is also a nice patio and bar outside that wasn’t being used during our weekday lunch visit. The staff was professional and attentive and made a positive experience. Highly recommend and will definitely go back when we want a unique twist on traditional Mexican food.“

Very chill, casual setup here with comfortable seating and easy to read menus.
I've gotten the mermaid oysters as an appetizer each time. They're delicious and have an extra sweetness to them that most oysters lack. As for main dishes, I am a huge fan of the gumbo here. Probably the best gumbo I've had in Texas. Its incredible. Simple yet full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Not super salty like most others.
Recently we had the coriander fish tacos either bacon, pico de gallo, jalapeños and Chipotle sauce. Omg that was 🤌😘
My wife got the Branzino which was served with broccolini and potatoes. A little more hearty of a meal, and very well prepared.
There hadn't been a miss we've tried yet. I'd definitely give this spot a try if you're in the area and in the mood for some fish! Super easy to order gluten-free here. They have a decent menu of cocktails and a full bar if you're looking to hang out.

“It was busy because it was Father's Day and there was no Wi-fi in the building or parking lot. I wanted to place a to-go order and it took a tad bit long amd the young lady at the window said when we were ready to let someone know she walked off and we never saw her again. I was ready to leave and not return.So we asked for assistance and Juran S. was right there and took care of our order and took my number down in case we weren't in the building to get the order she would call. She was very nice and attentive I appreciate her for that. It's great workers like her that makes you want to return.“

There was only 1 waitress but ahe def was doing what she could to keep up. I did noticed she had a young man helping with drinks but he looked so unprofessional, walking around with these huge headphones 🎧 on his head. “This location does not have a drive thru but still great for pick up only. Though the parking lot layout is a bit strange there are plenty of parking spots for normal business traffic.

The kitchen appears to be clean and the front waiting area feels a little dated.
