“This is our fourth time ordering from Chan’s Kitchen, and they’ve been very consistent. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and reliable, which is why we keep coming back. Friendly and welcoming staff.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the egg rolls can sometimes be a bit greasy, but tastes really good.
Overall, still a solid go-to spot for Chinese food and definitely recommended.“

“From the moment we walked into Umpli Dumpling, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere is welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious; our waiter, Jonathan, recommended the fried pork chops, the new pork belly, and the chicken ramen.
However, what truly stood out was the service. Our waiter, Jonathan, was exceptional. He knew the menu inside and out, gave us excellent recommendations, and made sure our drinks were never empty. It's rare to find such a great combination of food and top-notch hospitality. We will definitely be back!“
“I recently visited Nanxiang Soup Dumpling and had a wonderful experience. The soup dumplings were delicious and full of flavor. I also want to give a special mention to, Zhi, who provided excellent service and gave me good suggestions when I order the food. He was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great dumplings!“

“I took my daughter to Hunan Cafe for dinner tonight after school, and she loved it so much she immediately declared it her new favorite restaurant — and demanded to write a review. Who am I to stand in the way of a tiny food critic?
Her review: “My mom brought me to dinner tonight and the food is amazing! Everything was so flavorful, and the crab Rangoon was perfectly crispy. The wonton soup, crispy beef, and General Tso’s chicken were great too!”
Safe to say we’ll be back!“

On the menu there is a chefs meal option where's its a set od dishes dor 20 dollars looks solid good for another 1 person wirh you to share.“

“This place is subpar. Food was average, not worth the price. However, I will absolutely be coming back due to the service. Andrew did everything in his power to accommodate my family. I don’t think I’ve seen a server as personable, competent, and willing to fulfill our wants and needs. He seems to go out of his way in order to make us feel welcome, and that no task is too small. He even made our kids happy! Any request they had, he was on top of. Very attentive, respectful, and polite! Maybe this guy should be a manager….? He checked on us more than the actual managers did, even though he was clearly busy; I don’t think I saw a manager my entire time. I would have loved to praise him to a higher up. KEEP THIS GUY! I love the new lamps on the table, it gives a little more light, and makes me feel like I’m not in a dungeon. Host seemed very disinterested in helping, and very monotoned. Not necessarily how I want to feel when I walk in. Didn’t really feel welcome until our server came along.“

“We have been to TaiPei Tokyo Cafe several times and have enjoyed the meal and the service from Flora and Kylie. They and the way our food was prepared and served always makes the visit enjoyable. I have tried many items on their menu and never disappointed. We will certainly go back. John“

“We stumbled upon Chef Tan by complete chance and it has quickly become a family favorite. The food is absolutely amazing, but what really sets them apart is the service. The lady who takes our orders is incredibly kind and welcoming. I love her.
Most importantly, they are so accommodating with their flavor, they always adjust the spice levels for my husband and kids who prefer milder dishes. It’s rare to find an authentic spot that is this flexible, clean and family friendly“

“Saw an influencer raving about this so off we went to try for ourselves. So glad we did, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We opted for the AUCE dim sum which they offer on the weekends. Part of what I liked about this is you order off the menu not a rolling cart coming by like many dim sum places. This way I could read through all the options and know what I wanted to try. And not be disappointed if I ordered something I didn’t like. But this was not an issue here, there was nothing we ordered that wasn’t delicious!!! Dave kept asking what my favorite dish was but I couldn’t answer, it was all so good! So many choices but we couldn’t fit in all of what we wanted to try. We can’t wait to go back to try other dishes! The staff was always checking in with us, offered suggestions and made sure our teapot stayed filled. Do yourself a favor and go try it for yourself!“

“My husband and I have been dining in or placing a take out at least once a month at Peter Chang McLean for the past year and a half! We were so excited to finally find a chinese restaurant that is somewhat formal and provide good quality ingredients! I'm super picky with my meat (the , but the fresh meat, vegetables, and other ingredients truly satisfy my particular self. They never disappoint with the quality of the food and the temperature! We have tried at least 80% of their menu items, including the AYCE lunch menus, and our go-to items are: pan seared shrimp dumplings, dragon garlic spicy eggplants, singapore curry noodles, shrimp lo mein, spicy dry fried bamboo fish, numbing green peppercorn flounder, sesame chicken (it's online, not in the menu), and spicy kong pao chicken. The waitstaff and manager are all so nice in addition to the great food! We will continue to go back and we're so happy people are finding a good quality chinese food!“

I especially loved how customizable everything is, you can pick exactly what you want and it always comes out delicious. The staff are also really friendly and welcoming!!!“

“Food is good. They need to clean the restaurant.
Restaurant. owner is very nice. The lady server who needs customers service skills.
Also they need to speak English when customers are around. Not in their language. Very rude.
Overall we give them 6 points over 10.“

“Food was absolutely delicious and ready pretty quick! I got shrimp fried rice-- shrimp was large and well cooked! Very flavorful! I also got crab rangoon-- real crab meat and oh so good! I had to ask for the sweet and sour sauce for it, but the lady was polite and gave it to me. It was sooo crunchy, warm and delicious! And I got fried chicken wings.. and they nailed it!! It was crispy and cooked so well! Batter was delightful! Very good overall! I will come back!“

“We ordered food for NYE. It was delicious 😋 Fried chicken wings were crispy; mongolian beef full of flavor; shrimp fried rice was fluffy with big shrimp and egg rolls were crunchy and good!!! I’m new to VA and so happy I found Peking Express🥡“
“Delicious malatang and very friendly owner. I liked that it was not self-serve and likely more sanitary than regular malatang. Also such a treat that they had 锅包肉, a specialty from my family’s region in China. It was so delicious and fresh, and we loved it!“

“Foo Lin continues to be absolute perfection. Every single time we come here, it’s five stars — no exceptions.
This visit, we tried the Hunan flounder special, and wow. The flounder was incredibly fresh — succulent, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The Hunan sauce it came with was bold, flavorful, and absolutely amazing. I’m genuinely excited to post the pictures because we were too busy enjoying the food to do it justice in the moment.
As always, the hot and sour soup hits every single time. The spring rolls are amazing, the egg rolls are amazing, and the spicy shrimp dumplings are out of this world. There is not a single miss on the menu.
And the service? Truly unmatched. The bartending and hospitality here are exceptional. Ms. Lin and Jenny is also absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and consistently wonderful. The staff makes you feel like family, not just customers.
I’ve been coming to Foo Lin for over 20 years, and I can honestly say it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I will never love another place the way I love this one. The food, the service, the consistency — it’s all just incredible.
If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. It is and always will be a favorite“

“Just tried Yu Noodles in Fairfax —
Here’s my quick take:
Walked in not expecting much, but the place has a clean, no-frills vibe that feels pretty authentic. You can tell this is more about the food than the experience.
Started with the soup dumplings — honestly, these are the reason to come here. Good broth inside, not too greasy, and held together well (which is half the battle with XLB).
Went for the spicy beef noodle soup next. Flavor was good, comforting, but I wish it had a bit more punch. Noodles were legit though — chewy, fresh, and clearly the highlight.
Service was… okay. Not bad, not great. Feels like a place that gets busy and just keeps moving.
Overall: this is a solid local spot. Not mind-blowing, but if you order right, you’ll walk out happy. Definitely coming back for dumplings and buns.“

“This place has great Chinese food!! Love how it’s piping hot even after the 15 drive home after pickup or when they deliver. All of the fried rice dishes, beef chow fun, chicken with broccoli, beef chow mein are some of our favorites. They’re also very nice and friendly. Super quick too.
Can’t rate ambience. We always get to go or delivery.“

“This is my go to chinese restaurant! I have been ordering from here for years and not once have I been disappointed. The food is always so good and the portions are perfect. “I went here before seeing a show at signature theater. The food was incredible. The garlic shrimp dumplings, which were packed with shrimp in a delicious dipping sauce. I also had the orangish chicken, which was a large portion, crispy, and delicious. The iced coffee was great too. Definitely going back!“

“The dishes are even cleaner tasting and less salty than before, and we love the new chicken wonton soup. The chefs have creatively used spices and ground halal meat to recreate pork dishes. Great for those who eat halal but also for those who don't want to feel bloated after a Chinese meal. We loved the chicken broccoli and moo shoo and will be ordering again for this healthier take on American Chinese food.“

“Though this place has a couple tables, it spends its budget on the food versus space and decor. It keeps costs low by having a very small place down a side road. Parking is free and most times you can park right outside of it. They offer delivery but is popular for take out. The people at the counter are very nice. I recommend their Kung Pao chicken. It is the best.“

“Visited for dim sum for the first time today. There was no wait at 11am on a Sunday, perhaps the nice spring weather today kept people away and outside. Shrimp dumplings, pork buns, egg tarts, broccoli with oyster sauce, fried squid, pork fried rice, sesame balls were all good. Service was fast and friendly, environment was clean and pleasant. For a family of four the bill was $100 and we left very full. Would come back.“

“Highly recommend Bostan Uyghur! We started out by ordering the Eggplant Salad as an appetizer. It came out nice and warm fresh from the stove! With its spices and garlicky flavor, it really hit the mark! We then placed orders for the Chicken Kabab and the Dry Fried Soman noodles with beef. Both were spicely complex and absolutely delicious! Have to make another visit soon!“

“After living in Countryside for over 40 years we never found this gem. Long time patrons of Cheng’s & Good Fortune restaurants we have tried many other local Chinese restaurants with no real luck. Found China Goirmet on a whim search and it exceeded our expectations!! The potstickers were tender, flavorful and mouth watering! The moo shi pork and the crispy crunchy beef were over the top wonderful! The prices were very reasonable and they even had bar service with extremely reasonable prices. Service was extremely attentive without being over bearing. We can’t wait to come back and try something different!! Well done!!!“

“Great meal - especially for those all day dim sum dumpings. Food is great - service sadly not so much but still worth it! Staff is really rude til they give you the bill which is extremely reasonable, they squish you into tables with bars that hit your shins too, tables of 6-10 be mindful of that! Otherwise excellent food just waited awhile for service and again they were ride literally hit my head with plates or elbows from behind without warning. Still love it.lol we all laughed sooo hard when 5 of my boys ordered a drink (soda/lemonade) which came
in a bottle and to go my son whom previously ordered water, ordered a soda to go thinking it to would be a bottle to go arrived in a cup full of ice!!! We all died laughing-the look of shock and disappointment was hysterical! Great food, and great price. Just watch where you sit at the folding tables - especially if you’re tall like all of us.
Our precise experience was better - food arrived they let us know and moved the lazy Susan accordingly.“

“This is the most authentic chinese restaurant in Fairfax county. We had the best chinese new year dinner for our family of 10. Delicious food, good service, and very reasonable price. When i pre-ordered gluten free Peking duck they offered to pick up fresh Giant lobsters for our table. That was the best suggestion and most thoughtful and it was delicious with beautiful presentation. Love this restaurant! Highly recommend it, from a picky chinese grandma.“

“You can tell by the ambiance that you've stepped into a place that had served famous people. There is an old time classic Chinese restaurant vibe here.
The ambiance is gorgeous, the decor is history, with pictures of patrons from wall to wall.
The servers and staff are professionally dressed, I felt underdressed
Walked into the place around 2:50pm, as i read through the menu, and decide on the lunch special, the waiter says, sorry but it's after 3pm (3:02pm) no more lunch special. Bummed, as now the prices from lunch to dinner are a 3-4 dollar amount difference, portion might be larger, but for one person, I didn't need more of just one dish, I wanted variety.
Everything was just basic, and the fried calamari's funnel cake like batter was quite sweet and greasy for me.
The wonton soup had a thick wrapper, well stuffed, not bad
Fried Rice was delicious, loaded with meat and shrimp, worth the value
Will go back to try the famous Duck when I have enough people to share it with, as it is at least $100 for the table service.“

“I was not familiar with this place but my family was craving for real Chinese food! I checked good places near and decided to try China Express. To be honest when I parked in the front I was skeptical but follow my willingness to discover new places but when I got in and received by a very kind staff and felt the yummy smell from the kitchen I thought it was going to be good! I ordered fried rice, noodle soup, general tso chicken and some house lo mein, it was extremely delicious! Food quality is top and service was simply amazing! “This is a chain that has locations all over New York. I'm glad there is a location close to me. It's my go to for sauerkraut fish soup.

“This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it. Let's support high quality food!“
