The atmosphere is unmatched, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. Their Chilean sea bass, prime NY strip, escargot, and amazing meatballs are impeccable. Plus, they serve the freshest, piping hot bread in West Virginia. I always order the carrot cake for dessert (moist, flavorful & pleasing). Stefano's truly has it all!”

“I recently enjoyed eating two separate evenings at The Wine Bar at Vintner Valley in Morgantown, WV. The times happened to be on a Thursday and a Friday night. (I booked ahead because RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.)

The ambience is warm (full, but not loud), the service was very accommodating, and the food provides new experiences. The menu has some of the most unusual and tasty items one will find in the area. The chef has clearly trained and worked in different regions and brings these tastes to Morgantown. In addition, the menu provides options for customers with dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free and vegetarian needs.

I’m sure the menu changes seasonally, but all the foods tasted great, including Long Stem Artichoke Roses with aioli sauce, Green Goddess Fries, and salmon cakes. Our friends shared a beautifully put-together charcuterie board, including items for guests with GF restrictions. The chef has created a “pickle” category that tickles the curiosity and taste, including pears, peaches, radishes, and ramps (try this Appalachian delicacy with a pickled twist). I found the pickled ramp with a smidge of goat cheese from the charcuterie board a delight, with no cracker needed.

For entrees, the table had a mixture of items with nothing but euphonic sounds of “mms,” which is a good sign. I had the tortellini, which was GF, and enjoyed every bite, and had plenty to share with others.

In the dessert category, the dark chocolate mousse had the perfect texture and taste, and the cheesecake with the caramelized topping was delicious. All desserts are reportedly made in-house.

I recommend this restaurant.

On my reciept they charges us for three pizzas when Told the one was free but the reciept given the prices are ripped off the side like the printer was off centered. We calculated what we had ordered and just didn’t come up with same price unless we paid for the extra pizza!or the prices are different now then menus says not sure!. I didn’t want to argue and felt it was a long day for everyone but for our first time I was a bit disappointed with communication if they didn’t have something or just gave us the pizza they made for us without the jalapeños for free instead of making a whole other pizza that no one in the family would eat since it was chicken bacon ranch and pretty sure we were charged for too. The food wasn’t bad I enjoyed the steak hoagie I got . my son had great experience just ours was not the greatest but I think would give another try for myself since was a Sunday and later in evening but feel the situation could have been handled differently.”

“We order from Volcano a few times a month for our lunch on Thursdays and the service is outstanding. They help me carry the bags to my car, the order is always perfect - nothing ever forgotten or mistaken. One time I was pulling away and they called me to tell me they had one bag for us full of sauce and silverware and when I circled the parking lot, she was standing there waiting for me! They have the best sushi in town too. I wish I could give them 10 stars”

“Dari Delite is my absolute favorite ice cream in Morgantown close to my home my summer fun place to treat myself or the grandkids for our old time favorite the popular vanilla crunch cone gotta have it, I have known the owners and the family all my life been going here since I was a youngster and my entire family enjoys their amazing breakfast and daily weekday lunch specials I really love the spaghetti sauce thick and hearty helping and I just had their gravy & biscuit and it is really delicious too, They have great chili dogs too my favorite go to is the taste of the ice cream no one else sales it in Morgantown, Excellent service always from the staff.”

You need it to soak up the beer cheese and meat juices that fall on your plate for sure. The honey cake with honey marscapone was simply excellent. No other words. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and relaxing. The service was top quality and the staff were more than ready to recommend things. Prices aren't bad at all compared to other places and what you get is extremely high caliber for the price. This place is a 10/10. I'm glad they are open on Saturdays now so I could fully enjoy this gem on a hill.”

“We got the Chicken sandwich on a bun and subbed the fries for chips, with a side of ranch. The sandwich was delicious with nice thick pickles on it, juicy chicken tenders with a nice crispy and flavorful crust, and then the signature sauce that comes on it that was comparable to a Zaxby's sauce - delicious - but needed more on the sandwich. The chips were outstanding and loved dipping it in their really delicious Ranch! (Try it!)

We also got a drink and tried the blackberry lemonade - IT WAS AMAZING - the perfect balance of sweet and tart!

Last - got a chocolate chip cookie and it was soft and had a really great flavor.

We were traveling through WV and looked up the best places to get one and this was it. Sadly it took us to the old bakery where we ran into the owner/plant manager who told us they moved. Gave us directions and met him at the plant. Bought a case to take home and he gave the whole family fresh pepperjack cheese rolls for our ride home. Amazing snack. Thank you.”

Someone give Patrick a raise, he was extremely polite and accomodating. When I got there they were out of teriyaki chicken, and crab rangoon. They told me about a 10 min wait (no problem), but then they got flooded with a line. Patrick took it upon himself to walk the food that was ready over to us, and then walk the chicken over when it was ready. 10/10 experience and a very pleasant time even when you have to wait and it's busy.”
