“I’ve been coming here for years. They have the best rolls. They’re a decent size and price. Everything you get from here is fresh and delicious. Everyone I’ve brought here, says it’s their favorite and comes back often. The staff is always kind and friendly. Lindsay and Karen make this place special as well as the male chef. “I happened upon this place while I was at the rage part of hangry (don't forget to eat folks lol). As I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a welcome from the employee behind the counter. He was like joy and sunshine in human form, and something about this place felt so calming. I went from hangry meltdown in the car to totally fine within minutes of being inside. The employee was so friendly and kind that all my hangry rage melted away. Completely impressed. I ordered the poke bowl, and it was incredible. “We stopped by Sushi On Fire in Huntington Beach for lunch and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and some of the best rolls we’ve had in a long time.

We ordered several different items including a Jalapeño Roll, a Seared Albacore Roll, Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, and a tuna sashimi style plate, and everything was fantastic. The flavors were incredible and you can tell they really know what they’re doing with their sauces and preparation. Every roll had its own unique taste and was perfectly balanced.

The wait staff was outstanding friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

One of the coolest parts is that their patio is dog-friendly, so we were able to bring our Pomeranian with us to lunch, which made the day even more enjoyable.

Great sushi, great service, great atmosphere. If you're in Huntington Beach and looking for excellent sushi, Sushi On Fire is definitely worth a visit.

“This was a 10/10 all around. Every piece of sushi was incredible. Usually we aren’t the biggest fans of Salmon and Nigiriba’s salmon was so good we actually ordered extra.

We’ve had nobu, sugar fish, and plenty of other sushi spots. The price here was very reasonable and the quality was definitely as good if not better.

The staff was all very friendly and attentive. They explained to us their process, some history of the restaurant, details of the different fish, etc.

“This is some of the best sushi in HB, and maybe in all of OC. Some of their specials are pretty mind blowing (the price tag is too, but that's sushi/fresh fish!). Service is great. As others mentioned, if you want to be certain of a table, it's best to book as they are pretty regularly busy. You can go for a great lunch too. Parking is easy. My only negative is the restaurant smells very greasy to me, but that only bothers me upon entering, after that I stop noticing it. Not a lot of ambiance, but this is not unusual for sushi especially in a strip mall.“

“This is definitely one of our consistent go to spots and honestly I am surprised I am just now writing a review for Sake 2 Me Sushi. We have brought multiple friends here over time and everyone always leaves impressed. The all you can eat pricing is actually really solid especially for the quality of fish you get and you truly get a lot. Orders come out fast too usually within five to ten minutes which is honestly impressive. The fish quality really stands out for an AYCE spot especially the spicy tuna salmon and toro. The no rice rolls are my personal favorite because they are just a straight protein overload crab tuna salmon albacore all packed in heavy and generous. Even the regular rolls have a ton of fish and great flavor especially with the sauces they pair them with which definitely pack a punch. Cant go wrong with the gyoza and the spicy garlic edamame is a must every time. The miso soup is also really good creamy light and balanced not watery not too thick just right. We tried a Hawaiian style roll with a crunchy topping and albacore which was amazing and the roll sizes are huge. My wife got a spicy tuna roll with spicy mayo and a teriyaki glaze and she loved it. And the blue toro was honestly a surprise in the best way possible the sashimi cut was generous and the quality was way better than expected for all you can eat. Overall this place is always a win and easily one of our top all you can eat sushi spots. Highly recommend“

“Came here on a whim when another restaurant nearby was at capacity, and it ended up being a solid find. From the start, the service was really friendly and welcoming. We sat outside with heaters, and it was surprisingly comfortable even on a chilly December night.

We ordered:
• Soft shell crab roll
• Blue crab California roll
• Yellowtail avocado
• Jumbo shrimp & vegetable tempura
• Salmon skin salad

Standouts for me were the yellowtail avocado roll — simple, fresh, and also one of the lower-priced rolls on the menu — and the salmon skin salad, which came in generous portions and was very shareable. The tempura was light and crispy; I’d recommend ordering two portions if you want something more filling.

Overall, the food was solid across the board. Pricing skews slightly higher, likely due to the location, but portions were fair. We spent about $38 per person and left comfortably full.
