“Brandon was our server and we were very excited to sit down but my girlfriend and I realized the menu was very limited but we took a chance and we ordered the lobster roll which was absolutely incredible and amazing and life-changing. We are definitely coming back and even though it is limited, be open-minded and give anything a shot because it was all very fresh and very tasteful.“

“I was wowed with the freshness of the sushi and sashimi. There were types of fish I had never heard of like ocean trout, and all of it was delicately seasoned to not overtake the fresh, subtly unique natural flavors of each fish and shellfish. The service could not be more hospitable, charming, and attentive without being imposing. You can ask questions of the staff and chefs who warmly explain specialties. To say that the experience was gourmet and refined is not doing the whole welcoming experience justice for newbies like me. What a pleasure! While the price is elevated for the high quality of the food, I recommend Momoyama enthusiastically and will return at every opportunity.“

“Yet another winner from KEI Concepts. The hand rolls are served warm, one at a time, so you get the full flavor of the roll. They advise you eat them as soon as they are served + follow that advice. Consider the yuzu kosho sauce to complement the rolls. The lunch special of four rolls, miso soup and edamame is a great bargain, and they will substitute if you have allergies. The cucumber salad and crispy rice tartar are a nice way to start.“

“This is some of the best sushi in HB, and maybe in all of OC. Some of their specials are pretty mind blowing (the price tag is too, but that's sushi/fresh fish!). Service is great. As others mentioned, if you want to be certain of a table, it's best to book as they are pretty regularly busy. You can go for a great lunch too. Parking is easy. My only negative is the restaurant smells very greasy to me, but that only bothers me upon entering, after that I stop noticing it. Not a lot of ambiance, but this is not unusual for sushi especially in a strip mall.“

“This is definitely one of our consistent go to spots and honestly I am surprised I am just now writing a review for Sake 2 Me Sushi. We have brought multiple friends here over time and everyone always leaves impressed. The all you can eat pricing is actually really solid especially for the quality of fish you get and you truly get a lot. Orders come out fast too usually within five to ten minutes which is honestly impressive. The fish quality really stands out for an AYCE spot especially the spicy tuna salmon and toro. The no rice rolls are my personal favorite because they are just a straight protein overload crab tuna salmon albacore all packed in heavy and generous. Even the regular rolls have a ton of fish and great flavor especially with the sauces they pair them with which definitely pack a punch. Cant go wrong with the gyoza and the spicy garlic edamame is a must every time. The miso soup is also really good creamy light and balanced not watery not too thick just right. We tried a Hawaiian style roll with a crunchy topping and albacore which was amazing and the roll sizes are huge. My wife got a spicy tuna roll with spicy mayo and a teriyaki glaze and she loved it. And the blue toro was honestly a surprise in the best way possible the sashimi cut was generous and the quality was way better than expected for all you can eat. Overall this place is always a win and easily one of our top all you can eat sushi spots. Highly recommend“

“Came here on a whim when another restaurant nearby was at capacity, and it ended up being a solid find. From the start, the service was really friendly and welcoming. We sat outside with heaters, and it was surprisingly comfortable even on a chilly December night.

• Soft shell crab roll
• Blue crab California roll
• Yellowtail avocado
• Jumbo shrimp & vegetable tempura
• Salmon skin salad

Standouts for me were the yellowtail avocado roll — simple, fresh, and also one of the lower-priced rolls on the menu — and the salmon skin salad, which came in generous portions and was very shareable. The tempura was light and crispy; I’d recommend ordering two portions if you want something more filling.

Overall, the food was solid across the board. Pricing skews slightly higher, likely due to the location, but portions were fair. We spent about $38 per person and left comfortably full.
