“Very cool little place. Sat at the low top table and enjoyed various hand rolls. They are all excellent, but my favorite ones were the HYE, salmon truffle, and the yellowtail rolls. Go try it - delicious! Will definitely come back and now want to try their main restaurant, Seabutter!“

“I’ve been struggling to find a decent Tonkatsu, but this one is among the best Ive had in the US. I’m not an expert in Japanese cuisine but I have been to Japan a few times an this place is within striking distance of the average tonkatsus I had there. I’ll be back when I’m in the area“

“The food is sooooo good!!! It’s my comfort food now but the service is awful…We were the only customers in the restaurant at that time. When I asked for two pairs of chopsticks at the counter, the staff member appeared to ignore me completely. I had to repeat my request twice before she reluctantly looked up and threw the chopsticks at me. The service was disappointing and unnecessarily rude.“

“I love this place for at least 3 generations my family has been coming here. It makes me think of my grandmother as this was always a treat me and her would go and get just the two of us and share with no one else. It was like our place and being a family and seeing a family and speaking like family all my life I just love this place. I always want 16-20 pieces half and nori and inari.“

“We had a great experience at our first time visit here. We celebrated my son's birthday and brought in a cake. The food was amazing except for the Alaskan salmon that they substituted from what we originally ordered. They have an all day happy hour on Monday to Thursday. The service was excellent and the servers even sang happy birthday when they brought out the cake. The place was nice and clean and it wasn't crowded when we dined. The only problem was the people on the next table were too loud and there was no wall dividing them to our table so the guy sitting behind my son's girlfriend keeps on bumping into her every time he moved. We will definitely go back here.“

“The food conveyor belt is efficient & user friendly. The food itself is good, with a few caveats. In the mood for nigiri & sashimi? This is the place to get it conveniently and with good quality. In the mood for rolls that aren’t your basic California/tuna? This place will disappoint. But, they also have great dessert! The yuzu cheesecake is SO good. It’s really only 4 stars because of the rolls being so lackluster. They also only do brown rice which is fine I guess but not preferred.“

I thought the fish was good but nothing mind-blowing, and personally I found the nigiri to have too much rice per piece. Ambiance was good, and the chefs were fun to watch. I have had the good fortune to visit Echigo on a number of occasions over quite a few years, it has always been exceptional, Chef is a true master of his craft. It’s a low key place, not fancy, just great sushi and lovely friendly service. Order whatever the chef wants to make for you and enjoy mouthful after mouthful of delicious sushi. I’m looking forward to returning next time I’m in town.“

We were able to replace the lean roll with a different fish. Our server was super nice and we enjoyed our meal. “Fantastic sushi with consistently fresh fish and great quality. The unagi sushi is the standout—perfectly grilled, tender, and incredibly flavorful, easily the best I’ve had. The tempura is also excellent: light, crispy, and not greasy. Definitely worth a visit.“

“I’ve never actually eaten here, but I’ve gotten take out and delivery from Minori regularly for years. It’s priced well, always very fresh, and they handle my gluten allergy well, even occasionally providing some tamari for me when I pick up.

I really appreciate the effort they put into the presentation of the sushi even though it’s take out/delivery.

They’ve only messed up my order a couple of times (I’ve ordered from them a lot), and they’re always nice about fixing it.“

And the sushi, omg the sushi.
I had the tsunami fushion and it was delicious. A brilliant and original combination of flavors, just the right portion, and it looked like a work of art.

Very reasonably priced as well!
