“I have been going here for a while. Food is consistently good. The owners are very kind. Food is not salty but flavorful but just in case you want it salty they do have salt and pepper on the table. My girlfriend and I love to choose number two and number three in the menu.”
“A friend who frequents this establishment brought me for lunch today with another friend. Being a vegetarian I was impressed by the selections I would love to try. I ended up ordering the salmon, scallop, spinach cream pasta with capers. It was delicious! My friends ordered the pork katsu and hamburger combo and it looked awesome. The portions are so generous and it comes with soup and salad for the combo and mine came with a small salad and homemade bread. And the family run restaurant is very service oriented, friendly and a very clean and comfortable place. Highly recommended”
“We meet with some friends to catch up after several years and ended up staying for 3 hours. The staff kept the drinks and food coming and everything tasted fresh. Only nice thing would be to have descriptions for the rolls.”
“I was really craving the jokbal I used to eat in Korea, and this place delivered exactly that taste! The meat was tender and chewy, perfectly seasoned—just like back home. The kind and considerate service from the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. The kongguksu (soybean noodle soup) had a rather mild flavor, not particularly rich, but it was decent and ordinary.”

“My friends and I are visiting and wanted to try a good Korean place. This place was amazing! The service was great, they checked on us regularly and helped cook our food. The amount of food we got with how much we paid was worth it. Definitely recommend and would come back the next time we visit!”
“The spicy brisket soup was satisfying. Not too salty and not too spicy. The glass noodles were the perfect chewy texture. The purple rice was amazing as well. The side dishes were fresh and crispy. I especially liked the kimchi. Highly recommend the dumplings. Hard to find this quality.”

“Fabulous sushi with just enough flair to let you know that Chef Daniel-son has above average skills in areas other than sushi - he does a Saba sandwich on homemade milk bread, plus a shrimp stone pot fried rice in addition to sushi (at least as of this visit). Two seatings, the later one is more relaxed if you don't mind eating late. And the sake selection is excellent.”
“The rice they use for their Hainan chicken was perfection. They only serve it on Fridays, the rice came seasoned like how you would expect it from a traditional Hainan restaurant in Asia. The kaosoi was well seasoned with yellow curry. For dessert we got the mango sticky rice, the rice was a bit sweet but the coconut milk balanced it out.”
“as recommended by ishigo optometrist over the road : we have just finished a great lunch- the restaurant is clean and modern with booths and tables and cheerful staff - big and well presented mains- I had pho: the others had the spectacular looking garlic shrimp noodles: we particularly liked the crispy: rolls and rounded off with coffees of course. now off for a long walk to settle it all down.”
“It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each.
I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out.
The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing.
I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi.
We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I hope more people check this place out, because it's unfortunately very missable in its current location. I'm going to come back but will definitely share a sandwich next time.”
“Nice local spot for the area, pho soup is properly seasoned and tasty. They do have pretty much all the pho types with the various meat options and same with the rice combos. I did notice a lot of people ordering the beef rib pho which I'll try next time. Egg rolls were very greasy tho, that's the only gripe.”

“Sweet Potato Pizza is awesome and Frisx Chicken with Korean Sauce is really delicious! Two Thumbs Up!”
“We ordered the pineapple chicken, teriyaki beef, garlic noodles and hawaiian chicken salad. Everything was really good and the meat was tender. The salad dressing was so good.”
“We went as a family! We have a small child, so the kids’ club was really appreciated! Soft drinks, toys, and snacks were free all the time, which was fantastic. The BBQ was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The staff were all very friendly. Next time, I want to bring my parents along too. It was an absolutely wonderful place!”

“I’ve seen this place since 2017 but never decided to eat here once I found out it was a Greek restaurant (at that point I thought they just served chopped up grilled chicken on top of bowls of salads with olives) but boy was I wrong.
The service is as good as the food, both magnificent. I finally came here because of LATryGuy on YouTube review in one of his YouTube channel shorts and when I saw the chicken I said “OH it’s like Dino’s Greek style chicken with the seasoning and lemon juice on the bed of fries at Dino’s restaurant) I tried both types of lemon garlic chicken meals at Maisons so far the regular and spicy (which it’s actually not that spicy at all) and they were good. The gyro is good too, I’m just disappointed they have not re-upped on the LEGENDARY LAMB CHOPS for months after the review. Next I have to try the shrimp pasta like LA TRY Guy reviewed he said it was a 10/10 for everything.”
“My friends and I are visiting and wanted to try a good Korean place. This place was amazing! The service was great, they checked on us regularly and helped cook our food. The amount of food we got with how much we paid was worth it. Definitely recommend and would come back the next time we visit!”
“I had a very good experience from start to finish. I spoke with a staff member, Adrian, over the phone, who recommended the Ultimate Woman tea, which I can't wait to try. The two gentlemen staff members who assisted me with my purchases today (sorry, I don't remember their names) were amazing. Going into an herbal store and trying something new can be a bit intimidating, but they were very patient and kind in answering my questions. I also bought the sea moss mango spice gel, which is very good. I definitely recommend visiting this location for your herbal products.”
“Honeymee in Gardena is a sweet little spot that’s definitely worth a visit! The serving area is small, but the quality more than makes up for it. The signature honey topped ice cream is absolutely delicious, simple, creamy, and perfectly sweet. I tried the Passion Fruit and Chocolate Dream, and both were amazing in their own way. They also offer lattes and other treats, so there’s something for everyone. A great stop if you’re craving something cool and satisfying!”
“Among the Korean chicken restaurants in this area, this is a place that satisfies both price and quality. The seasoned chicken is a little spicier than other chicken restaurants, but it is delicious.”

“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.”
“Went in for pick up on a Friday night. Was busy, was able to order at the counter and wait 15 mins for order to be ready. I ordered the garlic broccoli, shrimp steamed wontons and cold noodles. The portion sizes were great and all 3 were under $40.
The broccoli had so much garlic it was almost overwhelming. If you are so so on healing stay away from this as it will kick that flu season in the guts! The cold noodles were okay, just wanted more sauce options and other veges in them. Wontons were tasty and good portion size. It was a good go to. With so much choice in Gardena this is up there.”
“Came across the on a walk back from Venice Beach. Highly recommend.”

“Came here for breakfast while traveling in Washington. Establishment seems to be well managed and well maintained. Matthew was our server and did an excellent job of taking care of us. We ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which I believe used to be called the Grand Slam. It came with two eggs, three meats, hash browns, and buttermilk pancakes. Breakfast of champions! We were quite satisfied when we left to hit the road to Forks, WA. We would definitely return if we were ever in the area.”
“Love this place. Very relaxed atmosphere and great food. Our go to place for big gatherings and birthdays.”
“An amazing "conveyor" belt sushi restaurant with high quality fish and great vibes. I use quotes because the belt is only used to deliver the food to your table as opposed to the rotating dishes. It's located inside of Tokyo central and there's gunna be a long wait for dinner but honestly.... it's such a great market to wander that you'll find the long wait to be fun.
Almost everything we ordered was delicious, mouth watering, and satisfying quality fish. The salmon quality is so butter smooth and I actually recommend the salmon party if that's your favorite type of fish.
Most items are decently priced and you can totally get full off of 30 bucks if you order the lower tier stuff. Service was quick and friendly.
Tip: You don't need to order on the tablet lol it'll get your arm tired from swiping the fixed screen. Just scan the QR code and order through your phone.

“BEST wagashi in the West Coast indeed!
I waited to try the other wagashi place we found in the Sacramento area before reviewing this place and therefore we conclude, they have the best mochis!
Staff is super friendly and kind 😭 would really love to go here again if ever we are down in SoCal!”
“Was craving Thai food and was on our from LA to Orange County. Found this place to have excellent reviews on google. We ordered pad Thai , basil chicken and shrimp fried rice. The food tasted extra ordinary. Haven’t had such amazing food in a long time , that not only tasted exceptional but looked great as well. The service was awesome as well and so was the ambiance. Would definitely recommend.”
“We needed a birthday cake ASAP for a new employee's birthday, they were available on Postmates so we weren't sure what we would get! OMG we were sent the Strawberry Shortcake 7" cake. It was moist, not too sweet, with fresh strawberries. The best part was the real cream frosting! Thank you for making our last minute birthday lunch a success, we've found our go-to bakery!!!”
“Came here last night with My Family and all I can Say the Owner or Server we had there was amazing she genuinely gave us the greatest customer service we can ask for and all the food we ate was so delicious...I Will recommend this place 100% ☺️🙏❤ #MayGodBlessthisbusiness #littlefamilyowned ☺️❤”
“A Refreshing Change from Korean BBQ
This Korean restaurant offers something different—delicious noodle soup with seafood instead of the usual BBQ.
The taste is absolutely on point—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.
Highly recommended to try!”
“Me and the family came here during the week to try something new. Saw the food and menu and thought let’s do it.
Came in and got seated right away. Inside looks great with a lot of room and the staff was very friendly.
After looking over the menu, we picked more items than we thought we could handle. But all of it was amazing.
We ordered TTEOK BOKKI with ramen and cheese. Tasted great. Great texture and taste
Come with the Korean Style Spicy chicken. Perfectly cooked and seasoned and a hint of spice that gives it a great flavor.
Lastly we ordered the Spicy Pork Bulgogi. Just as the chicken, amazing. Spicer than the chicken by a tad but amazing taste
We ordered rice with it which probably why we didn’t finish half of the portions of each dish. The employees felt we didn’t like it but we took it home to eat again the following day!
Must try in the Gardena area. :) thank you!”

“Amazing little Korean mom and pop shop in Gardena. The whole restaurant has maybe 4 tables, and when we got there for an early-ish lunch on Saturday, there were no other patrons. The auntie and uncle were very kind and brought us tea and banchan quickly, but the star of the show was the food. Delicious soup that came out quickly along with rice (choice of white or brown) and banchan. Portion sizes are huge!! Definitely get your money's worth here. The parking lot is pretty small and shared with a couple other restaurants. Heads up, the restaurant storefront signage is in Korean only. Will definitely be back to try some other soups!”
“The place is my favorite but that Asian lady who is always angry pisses me off and I make sure to avoid her. She is rude as heck and always seems annoyed. Food is good tho !”

“Really good pasta, large portions, and good prices. The dining area is kind of small for the volume of business that they draw during peak hours. We were a party of 6 and had to wait a while for a table. It was worth the wait. Service was good. Friendly staff. We were happy with the dining experience, and have already been back for more.”
“I had to plan a last minute breakfast for a coworker and since I love the breakfast burritos from TMJ Cafe i thought everyone else would too! They had everything ready when I got there and are always so happy and appreceative. Love this place! Oder the Supreme Doughnuts Box they're gorgeous and totally worth it!
Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burrito that is amazing! Just remember to order it without cheese.
Parking: Its a small parking lot, but people come and go very quickly.”
“A long time go-to spot. Family owned. Great quality Japanese food that is delicious and well priced.
My favorite is the salmon skin salad, only $8 still during these difficult times and post COVID prices. Offer multiple combination plates, sashimi, and authentic rolls.
Tofu salad also delicious.
My Bachan is a regular here :)”
“It's a cool place to stop in for a decent plate to eat. I had a veggie omelette plate. It included hash brown and toast. I walked past people who had plates of french toast with a wedge of honey dew melon on the plate. Can't say that my food was overly flavorful it was just what it was. My plate was $14 without a drink. So nothing special. I think I should've asked for some salsa or something. The restaurant was clean inside. The only downside to this place is that you can't drive thru. It seems like it would have a drive thru. Other than that, it is a nice little place to grab a quick bite if you're in that industrial area or near by and happen up in it.
Parking: Small parking lot, but lots of street parking nearby.
Wheelchair accessibility: It has wheelchair access”
“Let's be real, sometimes restaurant names escape me. But when my wife says "Korean soup place with all the Korean senior citizens," I instantly remember she means Tofu Village in Gardena.
Here's the thing: if you walk into a Korean restaurant and it's filled with Korean senior citizens, you know the food is legit. And Tofu Village? It's always bustling with them, which is a testament to the authentic, soul-warming dishes they serve.
Their specialty is Soon Tofu, and it's honestly the best value on the menu. A bubbling hot stone bowl filled with flavorful broth, silky tofu, and your choice of protein (I'm a beef guy, through and through)? It's pure comfort food.
But the real star of the show, in my opinion, is the banchan. Those unlimited vegetable side dishes? They're a feast in themselves! Fresh, flavorful, and constantly refilled. And even when you order to go, they don't skimp. They pack up little aluminum foil containers with the best of the bunch, which is a thoughtful touch.
Tofu Village isn't fancy, and it doesn't need to be. It's authentic, delicious, and makes you feel good from the inside out. It's a 5-star experience, and I'll keep coming back for that warm, comforting bowl of Soon Tofu. And those banchan, of course!”
“First time visiting this store, the lady at the register was helpful with helping me pick the best drink for myself. I do wish I was greeted when I entered the store; instead the lady mopping just looked at me, but spoke to the family that walked in immediately after me & I would hate to pull the race card. Other than that interaction, the experience was fine.”
“Clean facilities, friendly staff and absolutely incredibly delicious food made to order!”
“Absolutely blown away by this amazing Chinese restaurant! We started with the Beijing duck, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. You could taste the quality and care put into every bite.
We also ordered the fried chicken wings, and they were packed with flavor—perfectly crispy, seasoned just right, and seriously addictive.
The char siu, sausage, and shrimp fried rice was a total standout. Every bite was loaded with rich flavor and generous portions of meat and seafood, making it one of the most satisfying fried rice dishes I’ve had in a long time.
The fried tofu was also delicious—crispy on the outside, soft and silky on the inside, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce.
On top of the amazing food, the waitress was super friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. Will definitely be back to have some more!”
“Great service, atmosphere was upbeat and plenty of great food to cook up! Get there early s because place was packed when I left.”
“Chef Jeff, Erik and Rick all amazing at sushi and it’s top quality fish. Always amazed with what they can make for me off the menu. Sitting at the bar is the way to best enjoy this place.”

“Friendly sushi chef and staff Fresh sushi and tasty kitchen food Highly recommend”
“Hands down, one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. Everything that was served was top-tier. You can tell the owner cares deeply about the quality. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. All of their recommendations were delicious! This is my new go-to sushi spot and I’m already counting down the days until I come back!”
“Got the tofu stew and kimchi bimbimbap. Delicious! The banchan are amazing as others have noted. I'm not normally a coleslaw guy, but it was really tasty and had these awesome tangy notes to cut through.”
“It’s an incredibly comfortable bar with excellent service and delicious drinks👍
I’m a woman, and yesterday, after a company dinner, I still felt like drinking more, so I decided to go alone this time. Well... It was a really good time😊, and all the customers were super cool and nice!
The service from the bartender and the manager was absolutely exceptional 💖”
“After so many years, I still can’t find any other Yakitori places better than this place. That is it.
The restaurant is small.
I suggest making a reservation. Walk-in can be difficult.”
“Delightfully old school place for a Japanese set meal or soba. They're at a corner of the plaza that lets them have some covered outdoor dining as well, which compliments the well-kept, homey interior.
Menu is extensive, lots of sets, the soba is solid, and the beef is actually pretty decent quality.
They won't dazzle with flash or impress high rollers, but Fukugawa is a local classic for a reason.”
“Unassuming little restaurant owner by an older couple. Food is prepared with so much care and is always fresh. Highly recommend the place for anyone looking for Izakaya style Japanese food”
“The food was very delicious and the staff was very attentive - even if there was a struggle to hear properly. Good options and very kind patient staff
Vegetarian options: They have some side dishes, and a policy to not charge full price if youre not eating meat.”
“Another Gardena establishment that has been around since time eternal. Authentic food and lots of it. Comfy surroundings, good prices. You will leave full and happy”
“Stopped in after dinner at Sushi Bei. The place have been upgraded a bit since the last ownership. Way less dive feeling (but the old way was great too!).We just had a couple drinks and didn’t sing. The atmosphere was great! A very fun party and people were having a great time. They have many premium liquors and several mezcals (my fave). Looks like they no longer have the private room in the back.I would go back and would recommend!”
“Went in for pick up on a Friday night. Was busy, was able to order at the counter and wait 15 mins for order to be ready. I ordered the garlic broccoli, shrimp steamed wontons and cold noodles. The portion sizes were great and all 3 were under $40.

“Good action in all poker games. Good experienced dealers. Decent food although the turkey club is to be avoided as it has very little turkey and less bacon. Prob shud be taken off the menu.”
“Great place to go hangout and have drinks! Had a wonderful girls night out!”
“I visited Gue Jip Restaurant recently and had a decent experience overall. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was polite and attentive. The food was flavorful, especially the traditional Korean dishes, though a few items felt a bit underseasoned or not as fresh as expected.
Service was a bit slow during peak hours, but nothing too frustrating. Prices were fair for the portion sizes. I’d consider coming back to try other menu items. It seems like a spot that could grow on you with the right picks.”
“Brianna was super sweet and nice while we were there and always made sure we were doing good. She always had a smile on her face and was super friendly. For sure coming back just for her”
“This Louisiana makes sure the food is fresh and the prices are a bit better than others. The service is as friendly as expected but the promptness gets them the 5. Atmosphere is blah....pick up food and go vibe.”
“This is a fun dim sum restaurant where your family can go and choose different types of dim sum and fried bread from a cart when you're craving dim sum on the weekend.
Vegetarian options: Stir-fried Bok Choy
Parking: There is a parking lot at the shopping mall, so you don’t have to worry about parking.”
“this place is awesome love the food staff is really chill completely worth the price”
“It's a small lil hole in the wall good price drinks two pool tables at a dollar a game no complaints just make sure you tip the bartender she's super sweet and attentive.”
“Tacos Super Gallito:Street tacos from the catering truck. As of August 2018 they cost $1.59 each plus tax. I got 4 Al pastor to go, so they come in the traditional aluminum foil wrapped. They give you the diced onions, cilantro, limes and radishes in individually wrapped plastic bags. I came on a Saturday at 11 am. So there was only one person at the time and she will get your food out but at the same time she is prepping for the 12 o’clock opening time. So that’s a big plus that they take care of the customers even if they really aren’t ready and set up.The tacos are the small tortilla size regular street tacos. They are not over flowing with meat like at other taco trucks but they deliver a punch of flavor they is very pleasant to the taste buds.If you put salsa on your tacos then the green salsa will also send you to pleasant vill since it is also very tasty but it brings a medium heat that is not to over powering. They have an A grade from the county and even though they feel a bit pricey they are well worth the cost. I would recommend this spot to my friends and family and will definitely be coming back.”
“it was my first visit it will definitely be my spot whenever I'm in town”
“Wonderful woman was working the counter. Smiling and pleasant. Made me feel very welcome. But she needed help behind the counter and there wasn't anyone to help.”
“I live an hour away and I still drive here because the food is 🔥 🔥🔥”
“awesome.. yum yum ×÷÷÷÷÷ service was excellent food exceed my expectations”
“Micheladas are bomb The pescado zarandeado and the camarones islas marias are the best!!!!! And the banda on Fridays and Sundays play the best songs and the place has a great environment!”
