“My favorite Korean spot in Los Angeles. Did some research online for good kimchi and discovered this place. Their kimchi is fantastic, but then I also discovered this entire meal. This is perfect comfort food. Sunday mornings. Rainy afternoons or pretty much anytime you need something soupy in your life.“

“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“

“This is our second time here and the food was just as good as the first time we went there. It’s my husband’s favorite spot for beef noodle soup. The pan fried buns were crispy on the bottom and soupy on the inside (perfection). Try the honey green tea! It big enough to share between two people. “We wanted something healthy but flavorful for dinner and happened upon this place in the neighborhood, pretty no frills on the inside. Clearly a big focus on deliveries, but there's plenty of tables. We each got a steak banh mi and WOW was it good! So much flavor, and the bread was perfect; hard enough to hold it together, but easy to bite into. The crispy spring rolls were perfect as well, clearly freshly made and decently sized. We also split some noodles and were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Definitely will be back.“

“We love coming to this place for a Thai cuisine! I would say the service rates three out of five since they are so busy, and take quite a while to get you seated. However it's doesn't come as a surprise, the food is amazing. Typically always pair my curry or the pad sew with one of there Thai iced tea. Overall, this is the best Thai spot in Rosemead area. Atmosphere is cozy but definitely on the loud side your looking for a romantic spot this wouldn't be it. You“

“Been going here since before the Pandemic and it's always great! However, today they asked us to see our Vax Cards and Id's, that was a little uncomfortable. If I was the owner, I'd loosen up on that and not do what you're told. It's your business and it's on its last legs. It was much better when YOU called the shots and not the Government. Otherwise foods usually good and authentic.“

“Came here during a weekday around lunch time. Service was quick and kind. I had the khao soi and it hit the spot. Broth was flavorful and it had the right amount of noodles and meat. Lots of steady foot traffic from people that seemed to me on their lunch breaks so you know it's a good spot. Check it out for some good Thai food!“

“This is an absolutely no frills restaurant with about 5 items on the menu, but they do them well. The monta (aka manti, mante) is the star of the show. Unlike other places that take a shortcut by using wonton skins, this place makes the dough from scratch and it really makes a difference. In addition to the baked monta, they also do a soup version in either tomato or yogurt. Their sou boereg ( Armenian cheese lasagna) is good also. All monta is cooked to order, so it does take a few minutes for your order to be ready, but it's totally worth the wait. Have an appetizer while waiting. You can also visit their sister restaurant in Pasadena, though it's tiny with only two tables on the sidewalk.P.S. I read some reviews saying that monta is supposed to be made with phyllo dough. Uh, no. I helped my mom and grandma make monta from scratch and they use the same dough you'll find here. And I was born in Lebanon, my grandmother was a Genocide survivor. So they know how to make it.“

“It was my first time dining at Thai Central. It is a gem in East Hollywood for a Thai food. The food is very tasty. We ordered a few things, Kao Clook Ka phi, Boat noodle, and Papaya salad - the was delicious. And awesome service - from getting our order in and getting the food from the kitchen to our table. I like the cleanliness of the restaurant. We dropped the lid of something on the floor , and the server took the lid from us, he cleaned it and brought it back - impressive. Very nice and friendly servers, great food!“

“Decided to give it a try today since it was on my route home. Ordered the farmer style pork and green pepper. It's not the usual fatty pork you'd get from other chinese food places, but it's delicious either way. Less fatty, but still full of flavor. Portion is what you paid for. Spicy level is true to what spicy is all about. Will come again to try their mapo tofu and kungfu boiled beef since from this simple dish alone it does look promising.“

“This is THE place to get popcorn chicken in the 626! I've been coming to P P Pop for awhile now and I have yet to have anything I didn't like. The popcorn chicken serving here is huge, and the chicken is really moist and flavorful. I get mild spice and it's pretty spicy imo! The beef noodle soup is also a favorite of mine. I love the chewiness of the noodles and the beef chunks always fall apart. The drinks are served in huuuge cups so that's also very worth the price. Service is always great and they're very comfortable speaking English.“

“Best raw soy sauce marinated crab in LA. Not too soy sauce forward like the overhyped Master Ha’s. Well-balanced without being too salty or sweet. And the spicy stew is so 단백해! “Nice local Vietnamese restaurant that I've come to a few times. Staff is a friendly and the food was quite delicious! I had some beef spring rolls and a vermicelli dish with meatballs. Both were very good and I had to bring one of the spring rolls home as it was a lot of food. Would recommend trying it out if you're craving some Vietnamese cuisine.“

“The parking structure right behind it can get pretty packed, but we have never had trouble parking there during prime dinner time. We have also never waited to be seated here, although the restaurant is quite bustling. Service is polite and very quick. If you are hungry, come here as your food comes out fast.The soup tastes light, but flavorful. Compared to other pho restaurants in the area, I feel like the broth does not rely on seasonings as much for flavor. They are also generous with the meat in the soups. The large doesn't look much larger than the medium, but it actually is. I can easily finish a medium soup, but cannot finish the large at all.The inside is clean and casual, with minimal decor. “One of my favorite Chinese restaurants for really great food. I believe this place is Michelin rated. I'm not surprised.My favorite is the crispy shrimp/prawns. They must use super hot oil to get the shrimp shells to be so light and crispy. You can eat the whole shrimp, shell, tail and all!Today, the 2 of us had the beef brisket with quail eggs and the zhajianmein, a noodle dish using black bean sauce. Both very good. Very flavorful.Good service.They have set a high bar. Many new restaurants are trying to outclass and outdo Bistro Na. I was surprised to get seating for 2 on a busy afternoon after church. “Small gem found when looking for lunch when attending conference at Convention Center. I ordered plain Pho and Veggie eggrolls . They were both yummy, and the Chili oil was delicious. The place was decorated with a child's drawings . The drawings were so cute I just would suggested for them to be framed so they could be preserved. If I'm ever in Pasadena again . “Small operation with BIG taste! We usually drive 20-30 minutes to Thai Town, but wanted to stay local. Thai Touch had the best reviews in the area, and after trying it, I can see why. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with 5-6 tables and probably a capacity of sitting maybe 13-15 people at a time. Our party of 2 came on a Saturday at 6pm and there was no wait. There's a parking lot. They were busy with delivery orders though. The food was really, really good. We'd recommend the mango fish, pineapple curry, and pad thai. We'll be back to try the mango sticky rice. Pro-tip if you've read this far, the Yelp check in deal when dining in person is 25% off your order. That's probably the best check in deal I've ever seen on Yelp. You're welcome ;)“

“Oh man it's been a while since I was excited for Japanese food. This place definitely hit the spot on a rainy day. The rubber ducky decor elevated the experience to an 11/10. We ordered the chicken karage, katsudon don, and soba noodles with tempura on the side. Lemme tell you, we were STUFFED. They were hecking busy when we went and everyone's food looked so amazing. We walked around to find a good place for dinner and Yelp guided us to. Lunasia. We checked in and got on the waitlist. A few minutes later, we were greeted and got seated. It was nice to not have to wait for a while as the restaurant seemed busy. We placed our order online and not long after, our food started to arrive. Everything was delicious! We ordered a lot! Shumai, hargow, seafood pan fried noodles, salt and pepper suid, salt and pepper pork chops, orange chicken, shrimp eggrolls, pork soup dumplings, deep fried chicken wings, pork puff and sesame red bean balls. Everything was tasty and delicious! How you expect some food to be crunchy, they were crunchy! Those that are supposed to be moist and juicy, they were! The flavors of each item were on point! Can't stop talking about how good the food was. Prices are comparable to others. Servings were good portions. Service was friendly and efficient. The staff worked as a team and they took care of everyone that needed anything. The ambiance was also great. Modern and clean. They also have an upstairs so they can accommodate large groups. They are located in Pasadena on Colorado blvd. We parked at PCC for $15 and it was worth it. It was close to a mall and other restaurants. If you haven't tried Lunasia and you love shumai, you have to try this place bc you will love everything about it!“

“Arrived at 8:30 with no reservations. Waited about 1 hour for a table to open up. The check-in process was very efficient and you'll get a text when the table is ready. This location is in a mall so you can kill an hour easily. We were sat "outside" but it felt cozy with heaters and covered/private even though it is right next to Central Ave. (A main thoroughfare). Service was quick, friendly and efficient. You can fill out your own order on the slip provided, and then a server will review it with you to make sure you get what you want. They were great about communicating how the trays will be brought out, since they bring them out in stages to make sure you get them warm and fresh. Everything was fresh and tasty. We ordered 2 trays of soup dumplings, green beans, & potstickers plus a lychee green tea. Also the special sticky rice cooked in a taro leaf. So yummy. A+ for food and service. It was very busy and a bit loud so the atmosphere for me is nice, but no so chill. Still a solid B ++. Give it a try. You'll have a good time. Try something new.“

“Discovered this gem on Doordash and ordered as takeout. I'm so glad I found this place and surprised it isn't more well known! I really enjoyed the ox bone sullungtang as it was milky and rich with umami flavor. I didn't even need to add salt! I also really enjoyed the radish in soy sauce and thought it paired really well with the brisket. I wasn't a fan of their kimchi, however, but the radish kimchi was decent. I think the broth is the star part of the meal and hope to dine in at this restaurant one day!“

“My friend and I stopped in for lunch while on a road trip. It wasn't busy and service was super fast. All the ladies working there were really friendly and sweet. The food was amazing - we had an eggplant dish, a bitter melon dish and the fried oyster mushrooms. “Small restaurant/ cafe that specializes in noodles and dumplings. And more specifically, shanxi knife-cut noodles. The place feels family owned and operated and this was reflected in the friendly, warm service. I came in on a cold evening, looking for some warm soup. So I ordered the beef noodle soup. I ended choosing the thinner, hand stretched noodles (as apposed to the thicker knife cut variety), because it seemed like it would go better in the soup. The noodles were very well done and chewy. Great texture to go along with the comforting spicy broth. I also ordered fish and leek dumplings. Great flavor and structure. I took most to go because the two dishes I ordered was a lot of food. I enjoyed the vibe here. While I was eating, there were two ladies preparing dumplings off to the side. It reminded me of my mom and aunt when I visit my parents. So there was a nostalgic factor. Like a lot of other restaurants in the area that I really enjoy, this place feels like a great value for delicious noodles and dumplings because of their great selection and very reasonable prices.“

The food is super fresh. The dumplings and meat pies are made to order. You can watch them make them from your table (that's how small this place is!). They're quite no nonsense, it's very, give me your order, thanks, going to make them now. The food is delicious. We ordered: Lamb & green onion pancakes - juicy chopped or ground lamb. Very flavorful but not gamey at all. Fried buns - Good crispy pan fried bottoms, super soft on top but not so thick that it feels like there's more bun than meat. The pork is moist but not soupy and juice filled like you're used to. Pan fried pork & seafood dumplings - similarly juicy filling like the previous two but mixed with seafood. Good crunch on the bottom but no carby "lace" connecting them all. We parked right out on the street, 20 ft from the front door. In the evenings it's pretty easy as there's not a TON of other stores open in the surrounding area. Definitely eating here again...and again...and again.“

“Soondae is the korean blood sausage and if you’ve been looking for a good soondae place, you’re probably going to like this one. The menu is simple, it’s either soondae plate or soups. If you want both, there’s a combo too( a small plate of soondae and soondae soup). I always get their spicy soondae soup. It has two different types of soondae, one is chewy (full of glass noodles) and the other is soft (mixed with vegetables), and some pork meats. It’s not that spicy by the way. They ask you if you want everything in your soup. If you prefer something different, you let them know. You don’t get many side dishes, but you’ll see why. The soup itself is so rich and thick with countless toppings. I get so full every time I finish the soup. Can’t eat anything after. ?“

And the volume is soooo big and full. The lamp kebab is also good. The dining experience is good and the food delivery speed is fast. The environment here is clean and bright. It is a large noodle shop with many types of soups to choose from, such as braised tomato soup with oil, pork bones and golden soup. waitYou can choose the type of noodles from thin noodles to wide noodles similar to shaved noodles. There are also a variety of side dishes and drinks to choose from.Tomato Beef Noodles have a strong tomato flavor. There is a lot of beef and it is very tender. The overall portion is so large that two people can eat one bowl. The oil is a bit oily but very fragrant.The mutton skewers are very fragrant and the dipping sauce is also very fragrant.The environment is very clean and bright, and the food is served very quickly. “Amazing restaurant! Greeted by the owner and host with a smile right away, the atmosphere was nice, the food was wonderful and service was excellent.
