“I went there a few months ago and the flavors have been lingering in my mind. I can never enjoy another sandwich the same way I did with this one. The flavor was amazing but the texture was even better. The perfect crunch of the outside of the bread paired with the soft inside was 10/10. The workers are so kind and you can tell they really care about what they're doing. The inside of the building is really small and a tight fit but it's 100% worth it. Definitely recommend.“

“This place is so underrated, what a gem in an unassuming place! I had the chicken banh mi and the bread was fresh and had the perfect amount of crunch and the flavors were great. I come from SJ and although I wasn’t say it was the most “authentic” banh mi it was so good and did not feel like a heavy meal. The chicken rice soup had so much umami, would honestly be a treat and I’ll probably crave the cozy comfort of it when I’m sick.

There are a few seats inside and out but seems like a quick pickup and takeout place which works for me! We had the food inside last time though and service was so sweet. They were very attentive even when they were filling orders :)“

“I am going to change my review after being called and harassed from the owner who yelled at me. I am so sorry, You see that I belong to this crazy group of people who believe when we order something. It's that something that comes our way. It's my fault for not understanding how it works now. We order, then something comes and we are supposed to like it and only give good reviews but not our actual experience.

So it's more about the social media presence, and not the customer, ah ok. I get it. How silly of me to write my own experience down and give my opinion. Being yelled at on the phone is now dessert, and the pass the buck between the delivery companies is the point at which no one is responsible.

I am gonna continue to be thankful and make great orders and give great reviews. I will have slightly adjusted expectations knowing maybe it will come. I will write those great reviews, 5 stars all the way, yay, Although it won't be the truth, I think this is what the restaurant wants me to do.

The sandwich was huge and packed with fresh ingredients. I also loved hearing that he doesn't carry ingredients over from one day to the next, so everything stays fresh. That attention to quality definitely shows in the taste.

“I visited Oink & Oscar with some coworkers recently for a team lunch. Some of us are local and some were visiting, but it was everyone's first time at O&O. Fortunately, there wasn't a conference or large event happening at Moscone Center, so it was pretty quiet when we arrived - no line to order and just a few people waiting for their food.

I was relieved to see how easy they made the ordering process. With all the sandwich customizations available, they keep it simple by having you fill out a paper order sheet yourself. I decided to keep things straightforward and ordered the first sandwich on their Favorites menu: Oscar's Wild. It was really tasty, and the portion was generous - definitely shareable, especially if you add chips or a different side.

For non-meat eaters, there are also vegetarian and vegan options, which is a plus. Since it was such a nice day, we took our sandwiches to-go and ate at Yerba Buena Gardens nearby. (There are also some outdoor picnic tables available in Yerba Buena Lane if you prefer to stay.)

Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I'd definitely come back.“

“Went there super early for a breakfast sandwich and there was no line. The person at the counter was extremely helpful and patient when it came to allergies, I felt really comfortable eating knowing I won't have any accidents.

“I stopped by for lunch not long after opening and as soon as I come in the lobby of the medical building Banh Mi Love is located in i was met with so many savory fresh smells... Some of the meats, the fresh bread and spices.

The place seems to be ran by a mother/daughter combo, or at least a similar age difference and they're very warm and friendly taking my order and offering the jalepeno option. Initially I got a combo pork banh mi, and a passionfruit lemonade. After I paid (cash and cards are fine) I noticed the Vietnamese lays and got a bag of fried crab flavored chips. The spicy hot pot looked good too but I wasn't feeling spicy that day.

The sandwich was absolutely lovely. I could taste the individual pork, pickled veg, and vinegary tang of the sauce, all coming together to be more than the sum of their parts. The bread is a standout being crispy and flaky, but not dry, although I do like it a little chewier. Close to classic Vietnamese baguette. The lemonade was sublime and would get again even at 4.50. the pate was a little moved to one side, but I got a ton of perfect bites with all the meats and shallot and carrot. The chips tasted like imitation crab that was fried in potato chips and tempura batter, really enjoyed their unique taste. All this was just about 20 bucks, but with my own water and skipping the chips I could get an amazing lunch for 10 bucks.

The parking garage is free and the door into the lobby from the first floor of the garage is like 10 feet from the restaurant. I would go out of my way to come here, or even better walk over from the galleria for a yummy treat. Please come try this place.“

“I never imagined I’d describe an egg salad sandwich as decadent, but this one is that! The sandwich has three slices of pillowy side and fresh milk bread. In between are generous layers of a creamy tasty egg salad. The eggs are terrific and the mayo adds a velvety texture without feeling oily. There’s nothing extraneous. This one is better than the amazing egg salad you find in the ubiquitous Seven Eleven’s throughout Japan.“
