“Our experience at Waterbar was wonderful! We Sat on the patio outside and soaked in the incredible view. Once it got chilly, they closed the large door to block the cold air for comfort. Our server, Patricia, was kind, friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing! We started with oysters & champagne, then dorade and swordfish as main courses. The dorade was so flavorful and delicate and cooked perfectly. Since it is a whole fish, bones & head were included but so easy to separate the meat to enjoy. The swordfish was cooked ever so slightly rare and a nice, light meal. We finished the dinner with banana cheesecake and pecan creme brûlée. Bananas foster accompanied the cheesecake and the texture and flavor of the creme brûlée was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit!“

The seafood is as fresh and high quality as it gets, served in the most unique way. Start with the chowder, packed with a wide variety of shellfish, spiced just right with a little kick to it, neither New England nor Manhattan, they have invented a new broth that is both rich and flavorful while being light. The Scallops are a must try. They simply melt in your mouth with a burst of complex flavors. The small plate tostadas meld flavors and textures you just can’t find anywhere else. Although it is located on Divisadero in a multi-block long string of restaurants, the atmosphere inside has the feel of the most comfortable neighborhood bistro. Impecable service all at a very reasonable price for the quality and the creativity and joy the food will bring to your palate.“

“Little Shucker is a charming seafood spot with a cozy, comfortable vibe. The baked oysters and the whole roasted fish are absolute must-orders—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The sauce is on the side and I’d say keep it that way. The Big Shucker platter was both impressive in presentation and fun to share, making it a highlight of the meal. The crab cake, however, was the least memorable dish for me.“

“Food was super delicious! Check pea flour fried artichokes hearts we yummy, Deviled eggs are the best starter and a must have on every visit. This was our first time having the Shrimp Louie salad and it is now my favorite in all of SF. It is shredded and ready to eat. Presentation alone has high marks and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We split the Cioppino with the added pasta on the side. Yuu-uuuummmmm! Lots of seafood and the soup base had us making deals for the dregs at the end.“

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting this place. It’s a new restaurant, open for just a little over a month. I stumbled upon it by chance on Google Maps while looking for somewhere that serves fresh, delicious oysters late in the evening.

When I walked in, I was truly amazed by the atmosphere, the interior, and the unique style that filled the space. Looking at the menu made it even more exciting, as the restaurant offers far more than just fresh oysters and seafood — the variety of dishes is impressive. Every plate that came out of the kitchen was a delight and a surprise. The subtle layers of flavor, the elegant presentation, and the unexpected notes that gave a whole new perception of taste were simply outstanding.

The service was excellent, with light background music that perfectly complemented the ambiance. I can confidently say this place is a solid 5 out of 5, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

A special thank you to the incredible chef Felix, who came out at the end of the evening, offered us a kind gesture, and treated us to his signature dessert. “I read all the wonderful reviews on the actual website, and a friend and I decided to meet there for dinner last night (3/5/25) I was excited about trying out a new spot. The ambience was nice the restaurant was lively and surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. Our food arrived in a timely manner however, our Server never return to ask if there was anything else needed. Although the crab chowder bowl was tasty, I would have like a little pepper and perhaps some Tabasco to further bring out the flavors. Unfortunately I couldn't get the Servers attention. The garlic noodles were definitely garlicky which wasn't the problem. There was way to much butter/olive oil with no other type of seasoning leaving them bland. The real issue was how the Server popped up and started reaching around the table to remove things as if we were being rushed out. She came back with dessert tray of which we declined then proceed to bring check and clear what she could away. A large group sitting nearby was rushed out after another large group was escorted to their table. Most started trying to finish their wine and gather their things which was obviously awkward for the group that appeared who had to turn around and give them room to leave. Our Server offered to-go containers and appeared impatient that we weren't leaving. Our entire dinner from beginning to end was 50 mins( with my friend trying to eat a whole crab which takes time) and we felt very rushed. Overall our experience was just "ok" therefore I wouldn't rush back anytime soon. We did however appreciate the 1 hour parking validation.“
