“My friends and I have been wanting to come here for a while and we finally made it. Took advantage of their HH and got one of everything from that menu. Our favorite dish was the oysters and also the mussels which we kept ordering over and over. Deviled eggs and popcorn shrimp were okay, but the cod tacos were just ehh. One of the employees was super nice while others weren't as much. Overall it was okay and we may go back.“

“Really sumptuous lobster roll. The butter flavoured brioche was loaded with a generous amount of fresh lobster meat. It was not overly seasoned which allowed the original lobster savouriness to shine through. The price doesn't come cheap but it's still worth it given the large portion and quality of the lobster. It was definitely the best lobster roll I have ever had.“

“We changed our travel route to make sure we make it back to La Ciccia! Wonderful flavors as we remembered from a couple of years ago. We were so excited to dig into our favorite dishes that we forgot to take pictures. The owner was lovely and brought out the lamb dish because she had forgotten to tell the server that we asked for the next dish. (which was totally not expected but we really appreciated) After the first-time dining here, we made it a goal to visit Sardinia. Hope to continue to dine here when we come to San Francisco for years to come! Can't wait for this spread again: Pani Guttiau (Traditional Sardinian Flat Bread baked with EVOO and Pecorino) Casisceddu e Rughitta (Burrata cheese Arugula Anchovies and Truffles dressing) Malloreddus a sa Campidanese (Semolina Gnochetti Pork Sugo Pecorino Sardo Dop) Pasta Cruzza cun Arrizonis (Artisanal Fusilli Sea Urchin Tomato Anchovy (Cured Tuna Heart) Gamberoisi Arrustiusu (Oven Roasted Whole Prawns Basil Oil Parsley) Pezza de Angioni a sa Saba (Seared Lamb Tenderloin Tagliata Sardinian Saba) **the special surprise** thank you!“
“A great recent addition, good for dates and visitors. The staff was clearly well trained and very conscientious. It was only about half full at 7 PM on a Friday, let’s hope they can continue a great work with busier seatings. No “SF mandate” scam charges!“

“My wife and I celebrated her birthday by spending a few days exploring San Francisco, and we enjoyed her birthday dinner at Waterbar. Our experience was exceptional. Our waiter took great care of us, offering a special way to enjoy the Maine lobster. The staff also showed thoughtfulness by providing a signed birthday card for her, and we were delighted with lovely birthday bites at the end of our meal. The standout dish was definitely the Maine lobster, and the corn chowder was incredibly flavorful. I would gladly return for a special occasion and highly recommend this restaurant for celebrations.“

“Great oyster selection and special options, fries are to die for, and the menu items all have a great take that satisfies while being unique. The service has been quick, focused, aware and guided us to some specials they thought we’d like. 4th time here and I always look forward to coming back when I’m in an oyster and Champaign mood, sitting outside and letting the baby people watch before shopping type of day.“

“Heard about this place from word of mouth - it’s all true!! Come hungry - portions are nice sized. Great presentations, flavors are fresh & clean! Get there early because the seating is very limited and waitlist can be long, but well worth the wait! Had the Boston clam chowder, 1/2 order of Anchor Special, and the smaller portion of their Cioppino. It’s big enough to share!!“

“Truly incredible pasta. Doppio pasta dish is one of the most delightful plates of food I've been served in 20 years in the Bay Area. Artwork on a plate. Perfectly balanced. No notes. I feel like this place is getting slept on. Go yesterday!!!“

“Such a fun, iconic spot! I loved the atmosphere and it was really easy to find parking. The food was fantastic also, and I'd recommend in particular the bouillabaisse and the shrimp scampi.
The service, however, was lackadaisical. It took nearly an hour to get our food, and the server didn’t bring the appetizer first (in fact it didn't even arrive with the main meal). He seemed unconcerned about our experience.“

“We went here for dinner yesterday, the food and service was absolutely incredible! I can’t believe how each dish had so many great flavors. We ordered several dishes ranging from vegetarian to meats, all were spectacular! Thank you for introducing Burma food to us!“

“The garlic roast crab here, paired with the garlic noodles, might be one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in San Francisco. Just make sure you clean your hands well before eating because you’re gonna dig in deep and go nasty. And don’t skip its head. It’s surprisingly good. Dip some noodles into the garlic oil and eat some of that crab meat and all of the good stuff in one bite, and you’ll be like 🤤🤤🤤“

“Intimate and cozy bar with an excellent wine and beer selection. The interior is gorgeous but small, dominated by the bar. The walls look like they’re made of green velvet but it’s actually concrete. The service was friendly, and they made to sure to keep our glasses full. The food is from Ernest, which was a treat. The bread is from Rize Up Bakery and highly recommended with the wine.“
“A seafood store with flavors of Italy and Japan. You can order seafood to take home and eat or prepare, or dine in. Service was welcoming and helpful.
We had the Spanish octopus carpaccio and Wild Scallop Ceviche both of which were light and tasty.
They also had a nice section of Japanese shoyu and food items and Italian food items.
The bathroom was clean and pleasant.
The area, Noe Valley, is a busy, active neighborhood with nice shops and eateries, full of friendly people and families.“

“The wild sf is worth being passionate about. An unbelievably hardworking team, working in a space that prioritizes intimacy between chefs, service professionals, and the guests. You cannot sit at the counter and feel disconnected from the displays of culinary excellency happening in the space. The food is innovative and inspiring, but simultaneously grounded, connected deeply to the values of the team that prepares it. The hospitality is genuine and led by some of the most talented professionals in this industry. Stop in and experience it for yourself; my words can only go so far.“

“Those who complain on the thread about spicy food perplex me—why did they go to a Sichuan restaurant? I have a lower craving/tolerance for spice than a typical Chinese person with Sichuan roots—I like the flavor but don't seek the heat necessarily. To me, the food at Z&Y was the appropriate level of spicy and flavorful. Actually, there's a variety of regional specialties, and our party just ordered what we felt like without regard to trying to get a typical Sichuan meal. I had meant to book a table at Z&Y Peking Duck across the street, but I didn't mind the mistake! I don't live in SF, and am willing to shell it out for a Michelin fine dining experience. I found Z&Y was relatively expensive and in slightly more modest proportion to what one might expect for a typical Chinatown restaurant, but worth it due to the extremely high quality and authentic food. Decor and service style are also typical Chinatown vibe. We had to get egg rolls for the youngest adult with us, and they were crisp and tasty. Tan tan noodles had spice and subtle flavor at the same time. We ordered Peking duck and I wondered if we got the tea smoked duck, but we didn't even complain because there was a LOT of duck and the smoky flavor was unique and delicious—and there were enough thin pancakes, sauce, cucumber, and spring onions. Pea shoots and cumin beef were very tasty. We added on Dong Po Ro (Pork Shoulder) as our last dish came to the table because we needed more food. It came to the table quickly and was melt in your mouth tender. Yes, it is very fatty, but that's the point of this cut—if you don't like fat, don't get Dong Po Ro! Lots of happy accidents with this meal, wouldn't change a thing.“

“Liholiho is a fantastic restaurant! The space is modern and beautifully designed, with an open kitchen where you can watch everything being prepared, which adds a lot of energy and transparency to the dining experience.
The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. The cocktails were excellent, and even the non-alcoholic one I ordered was made with care and tasted great.
The food was outstanding. The bun with beef tongue was extraordinary, the tuna tartare and ceviche were perfectly balanced and fresh, and the shrimps with crispy rice were especially memorable. All dishes showed creativity, originality, and were prepared with high quality ingredients.
For three people, including first and main courses, drinks, and one dessert, the bill came to $260, which I found fair for this level of quality. The only minus point is that the restaurant does not offer coffee, which would have been a nice way to finish the meal.
Overall, I really enjoyed everything at Liholiho. Highly recommended, and I hope I will get to return again!“
