They have a rotating array of seasonal menu options, and I can only speak of spring 2017, but I've enjoyed everything I've tried. They also have had a different specialty pizza every time I've gone; always something new. The back patio is a wonderful oasis away from the bustle of downtown. They have a neat selection of local style sodas on tap, and the staff are friendly.
i found out about Pie Sci through my best friend who is a vegan. she says that this place is the single best pizza place for vegans that she has ever been to. every single time i walk into this place, i am never disappointed. the fact that they are so vegetarian and vegan friendly blows my mind. everything is made from scratch and you can tell each pizza is made with so much love. if i could sponsor this place, i most definitely would. the patio is beautiful. the hours are perfect. the pizza is worth the wait and you're full after 2 slices of a small size!! the pizza is even better as leftovers so i always make sure to take some home with me. the price is worth the full stomach and a perfect pizza experience. i live 30 minutes away but the drive is nothing compared to this. please please PLEASE bring your friends here and leave tips!! TRY THE CLOUD BITES! THEYRE GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN FRIENDLY ❤️
I consider myself a regular at this point. Staff is cool and honest. Not sure how they handle issues because I haven't had any. My pizzas have all been excellent. Definitly worth the money.
I would eat this every day if I could! It is my favorite pizza place - and not just because it is right down the street. They have tons of creative pizza options and switch up the menu fairly often. Plus, almost every pizza can be made vegetarian and/or vegan. Note that they only have pizza, not salad or other sides - but it's totally worth it.
I was given pizza from here yesterday for the first time. It was amazing. As a picky eater and a vegetarian, it's often hard to find new and delicious things. The vegan BLT and the vegetarian pear were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to eat it again!

Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust is really thin and the sauce is super flavourful. I would avoid the white pizza - It's still a good, but you shouldnt deprive yourself of the sauce experience. I strongly recommend the Supino pizza. The roasted garlic was fresh and sweet tasting, the olives were zesty and the ricotta was creamy. All around, a good experience.
One bite. Everyone knows the rules. Ordered the regular cheese because everyone knows that's the gold standard hundred yard dash pizza. Pretty good. Not fancy pizza, but not quite football pizza. Not much New York Flop. Not too crispy. Overall......7.6. That's a review.
Everything has changed at Supino's. There is now a sit down area located in the space previously occupied by the restaurant to the south. You enter through the door always used but now you are greeted by a host/hostess. If you are dining in you will be seated in the dining area and a server will take your order at the table. Alcohol is available. The pizza is still as good as always! There are daily pizza and pasta specials. Dave has hit a winning combination. No more struggling for a place to sit. Carryout orders will continue to be placed in the normal location.
The Best pizza I've had in Michigan, maybe even ever and I loved in NYC for 6 years! Staff was great and drinks were good too. Well absolutely be back!
I've been to Supinos multiple times and have never been disappointed. Their pizza is amazing, nice thin crust and u can taste the freshness of the ingredients. No greasy pizza here just nice clean food. This was my first trip after there expansion and the food was still up to par but the server I had wasn't very good at his job.

If you are in Detroit, make sure to stop at this place for breakfast or lunch. Really cool ambiance, friendly staff and of course, delicious food. The avocado toast was full of flavors, with creamy avocado and fresh cucumber slices. The grilled chicken sandwich surprised you with a little kick of hot pepper, combined with grilled chicken and avocado, made a great sandwich. If you have room, try the vegan chocolate cake. Amazing!!
Great food with good vegetarian or vegan choices. Wonderful selection of desserts. Somewhat of a wait, but the line moves quickly. Stopped in to get an avocado and spinach sandwich and Ia drink to take to the park. They do have a bar here, but since I don't drink I am not sure what they offer.
This place offers a casual, family-friendly environment close to a Q-Line stop. I'm a non-meat eater and my husband is a meat eater and we both were happy with the menu choices. We especially liked the Chocolate Toast to share.
Had the Trout Ruben, it was fresh and delicious, served on a fresh whole grain roll and the fish was dusted with corn flour. Really nice texture. Staff was courteous and engaging. Since it was their 2nd evening of service there were some gaps in menu knowledge but our server got good support for the items she didn't know.
I'll start by saying the interior design is nice. Food not so much. With the great reviews I was shocked to be so disappointed in the taste of the grilled chicken sandwich. There is over kill of seasoning and a ton of butter on the bread.

The food is great, reasonably priced, and quickly made.
Plenty of seating. Chicago steak grinder is my favorite. I haven't even tried anything else because it's so good.
A nice place to grab food and go, but there's nowhere really to sit. I've visited here a few times for lunch, and on my most recent visit with a colleague, we ordered the same items, but I was charged nearly a dollar more... I'm not sure why, but as a result I haven't been back since. Good in a pinch, but watch your receipt, and be prepared to walk somewhere to eat.
Verity of food, always fresh tasting and on time and friendly, thank you!
A good place for a hot sub. Consider calling your order in before pickup.

I'm new to detroit and I kept seeking out a good pizza in the downtown area. Yes, there are some great places in the suburbs but there wasn't anything that excited me in the city. That was until la Lanterna opened. Awesome food, great pizza and wonderful staff. So happy to have them right around the corner!
A great addition to the neighborhood. Perfect for sharing a pizza and a salad. Accessible wine list and fair prices. The staff is really nice as well.
Decent food, good atmosphere but a very slow wait for food for one very standard item. Hopefully as they get more weeks under their belt kitchen staff are able to work out kinks.
My boss and I went here for dinner and there was a slight issue with his order. The manager and staff went above and beyond to make things right and I can definitely say I'll come here again in the future. Mistakes happen but they sure did handle it perfectly.
Simple pomodoro on the pies is ON POINT. Outstanding dough and quality toppings.
