Silky smooth hummus topped with herbs. Creamy baba ghanoush with a touch of smokiness. Perfectly rolled grape leaves with a fragrant rice and herb filling. Crisp falafel with a tender center. Freshly baked spinach fatayer. Rich tahini sauce on the side and of course, I had to get Kibbeh nayyeh. Everything tasted like a dish made with pride and tradition. From the hospitality to the quality of ingredients to the flavors that remind you what real Lebanese food should taste like Shishka Lebanese Grill stands out in the best way. For starters we shared a salmon crunchy sushi roll and the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Both very fresh and delicious! The Cordon Bleu sandwich and seasoned fries were amazing! Others in our party ate the Eggs Benedict Steak, and Chicken and Grits. Everyone enjoyed their food. They served generous portions. The lychee martini and unlimited mimosas were very refreshing and tasty. For dessert, we devoured a slice of chocolate raspberry cake and key lime pie. The food was 10 out if 10.”

Building is new, clean and inviting. outside under a huge tree is an enclosed large area with many tables. The service was extremely warm and welcoming beginning with the hostess at the door through our waitress Stephanie. Stephanie explained in detail al the menu items very comprehensively. She also explained the daily specials and was particularly good at describing the Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The patrons were a diverse group of all ages. The dinner was surprisingly affordable served in an area of pompano that is rehabilitated. we will return for the weekend brunch and anticipate it to be great!”

I have to say hats off to our waitress, Nisa, and the cook. She was a wonderful waitress and stayed busy cleaning the coffee area and food counter as well as keeping her eye on the customers. The food was prepared exactly as ordered (nothing under or overcooked). Definitely recommend this IHOP for breakfast!!”

I started with the Elote corn, and let me just say, absolutely fantastic. Perfectly grilled, coated with just the right balance of seasoning and creaminess, it was bursting with flavor in every bite. Truly one of the best I’ve had! We also enjoyed a taco platter that came with chicken tacos, beans, rice, and corn. Each element was thoughtfully prepared and equally amazing. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the beans and rice were comforting and perfectly seasoned, and the corn tied everything together beautifully. On top of the great food, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. “This was my first time at Pollo Campero. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place.
Pollo Campero originated in Guatemala in 1971. This started out as a family run business.
The staff here at Pollo Campero are very nice especially Marisela. She was so very friendly and when my food order was ready she walked it over to us.
This restaurant was neat and clean and they have a good amount of tables if you want to eat in.I placed my order for takeout only.
A customer who had eaten here 19 times told me to order their Fried Chicken.Everything is made fresh. Based on his recommendation I did. I placed my order for 3- 3 Piece Meals that consisted of a Breast, Thigh, and Wing. It came with a choice of a side. I chose 2 of their Campero Rice side, and 1 of their Baked Beans side. I also ordered an order of Chicken Nuggets, a side of Coleslaw, Yuca, and Sweet Plantains. I thought the sides could’ve been bigger, I’m used to bigger sides, and you definitely need to get multiple sauces for dipping the chicken, and Yuca. The Yuca was very a bit plain and needed a dipping sauce. I’m used to a garlic dipping sauce.
They also sell Roasted Chicken, Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Empanadas, and at some locations a Campero Bowl.
If you order a 4 piece meal you can order 1/2 Fried Chicken,and 1/2 Roasted Chicken, or you can order just Fried or Roasted Chicken.
The Fried Chicken was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a crispy exterior, and the inside was very juicy and good. Even the Chicken Nuggets I tasted were delicious. They were all White Meat and some of the best i’ve tried. ( I highly recommend along with the Fried Chicken.)
FYI make sure you ask for dipping sauces, It wasn’t offered and I didn’t know to ask. One isn’t enough.My bf got their Campero Sauce, and their Ranch Sauce, both were good.
If you have kids order their Chicken Nuggets and Fries.
For Drinks they sell Horchata, Mango, and Jamaican along with Soda and Bottled Water.
Pollo Campero has plenty of free parking. There are a few Handicapped Parking spaces and this place is wheelchair accessible. I want to try their Roasted Chicken and their Chicken Empanadas, and of course their Fried Chicken Sandwich.
What I especially love is that they partner with Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital. They are very community oriented. Pollo Campero also does Catering.
