“Burgers are fire. Must get one because their patties are so thick and tasty. The fries I admit aren't the best. Both chili cheese and cheese fries were very salty but if u do get it, eating with the burger makes it enjoyable. You do have to wait 5-10 min but worth it.”

“The food is phenomenal. We got reservations for 2 at the bar 3 weeks in advance. The bar seating was great, had a nice time chatting with the bartenders and other customers. We ordered 5 dishes per person and we enjoyed everything we got!

Some dishes that stood out:
1. Tripe kushiyaki—this was my favorite, it was so tender and flavorful. I never had tripe prepared like this, it didn’t taste like tripe at all.
2. Raw oysters—the jello was bright and made this common dish so unique
3. Chicken meatball skewer—it’s a big piece and was very juicy
4. Mushroom kushiyaki—the sauce was everything ?
5. Miso bone marrow—super rich and was so tasty with the rice

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.”

“Loved the sweet potato, Loma Salgado and lamb tacos. One person in the party had a green bean taco and did not love it. Everything else we had was excellent. Great place to eat before an event downtown. Casual dress and an affordable place so pick something else if you are looking for upscale night. You can never go wrong if looking for taco's downtown.”

Our server, Brenda, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted and made our visit feel uniquely welcoming. IHOP should definitely make Brenda a server trainer for all their restaurants. Highly recommend!”

“This place is awesome. Walk into the Delphi hotel lobby and through to your left, you’ll find this somewhat hidden gem.

I walked in and it took me less than 30 seconds to get seated by a friendly server. He let me have the pick of the place, as it was less busy as it was a Monday evening.

When you sit, you feel as though you’re in an elevated diner. There are large glass windows looking out to the courtyard if you’re up for a private, yet outdoorsy setting.

I chose to be a hermit inside though haha. I ordered the Delphi Double Smash burger and was so happy I did. In n Out ain’t got nothin on this place! It’s a similar smash burger idea, just executed better. The caramelized onions are a perfect touch as well. I ordered mine with tater tots which were cooked to a perfectly delicious brown crisp. I was also served a pickle spear. When I tasted it, I know it wasn’t just your run of the mill pickle. My server confirmed my suspicion and I was right! They make their own pickles in house!

The bartender let me taste a drink they were straw testing and I couldn’t believe how good it was! Who knew two ingredients could complement each other so well! I’m not giving away his secret, but if you’d like what I’m talking about, just ask him for his “Summer Crack” drink! Haha. I loved it!

It’s always strange traveling alone and eating in a restaurant by yourself. These guys made me feel right at home and I really appreciated it.

Bottom line, if you’re looking for elevated diner fare, look no further. If you’re looking for super friendly and attentive service, go nowhere else. If you’re looking for a pretty cool playlist that is at the perfect volume to still hear it but not drown out conversation, you found it!

When traveling, I try not to repeat the restaurants I visit, but it may not be possible for me this time around. I kind of want to come back here for breakfast tomorrow, but we’ll see!

“Totally worth the 70 minute drive. Delicious food and great Taiwanese hospitality. Friendly, attentive staff and wonderful atmosphere. Minced Pork (Lu-Rou) Rice, fully loaded delicious stewed pork with egg. Meats are juicy and tender, kinda on the sweet side. Clamshell bun (Gua Bao) comes with tender thick cut pork, a bit on the salty side, but very well cooked. Fatty but not greasy. Thousand layer pancake with egg and basil was crispy and flaky. The basil flavor is a wonderful addition. Scallion bread sandwich was what we expected. Same tender thick cut pork, very happy to eat this. Next time I will probably get the beef, too much pork belly today Wonton soup is very classic, if you like shrimp wontons, you have to try this. We ended the meal with Hakka mochi and Oolong tea, the mochi tasted just like the ones in Taiwan. The tea was fragrant and is just the perfect compliment to the mochi. Overall an amazing meal with warm and friendly people, highly recommend!”

The sides portion size alone is bigger than there competitors. They definitely are worth the visit. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the Mac and cheese. “It is a small deli located near sunset blvd. Mostly meant for grab and go but theres 4 seats if you want to eat there. I went during lunch time on Saturday and there was no one there. There is only street parking on the residence streets.

I had the chopped chicken on a roll and it was SUPER filling. I was full only halfway in. The taste is similar to chili. I had a bite of the Classic chopped cheese and its pretty much a philly cheese steak but chopped. Both super delicious”

“We came here with a last-minute reservation, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

This sushi bar offers both bar and regular seating, with options for omakase or individual orders. Even though we chose the regular seats, the chef greeted us warmly from the counter. Having visited many high-end sushi bars in NYC, I can confidently say that this place stands out with its unique charm. The ambiance is more casual and cheerful, with a light touch of western vibes, compared to some sushi bars that serve omakase only. The space is open, with soothing lighting and music.

The price is affordable and fair, given the quality of the food, which makes me wonder if sushi in NYC is somewhat overpriced. I had such a lovely meal and would definitely want to come back when I visit LA next time.”

I did a burger tour around LA last month when I was in town. This place barely made my list of the 5 places I narrowed it down to, and boy am I glad it did. It was the best burger I had during the trip.

I don't know if it's something in the beef blend they're using or if it's just the combo of grilled onions, that sauce, and those beautiful smashed patties, but it managed to be so much more than the sum of its parts. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Bravo.

We ordered one yuzu custard pastry (subtle flavor, not very sweet, great texture and flakiness), a hot Amai con panna (a nice cinnamon and cream espresso) and another cold drink I cannot remember the name of (but it is the one pictured here) both drinks were nice but just a heads up they are super sweet. The minimal and sleek interior design is unique and has a few seats. “A little over 3 years ago, Fleur Cafe opened, and has been a fine success as a small, one-of family restaurant with excellent service and great food at reasonable prices. Now they have expanded their kitchen, and finally introduced an expanded menu with wonderful new dishes added to the popular favorites! I personally enjoy the outdoor dining option, but they have also got a nice little dining room. Prices have gone up a bit, but it is still a very reasonable breakfast, brnch and lunch choice.”
